আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
লোকেরা তোমার কাছে জানতে চাইছে আনফাল সম্পর্কে। তুমি বলো, আনফাল হলো আল্লাহর এবং রসূলের জন্যে। সুতরাং তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো এবং সংশোধন করে নাও তোমাদের অবস্থা। আর আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করো এবং তাঁর রসূলের, যদি তোমরা হয়ে থাকো।

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم يسألونك عن الأنفال ۖ قل الأنفال لله والرسول ۖ فاتقوا الله وأصلحوا ذات بينكم ۖ وأطيعوا الله ورسوله إن كنتم مؤمنين
Yusuf Ali
They ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(such) spoils are at the disposal of Allah and the Messenger: So fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: Obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
জেনে রাখো, প্রকৃত হলো তারা, আল্লাহর কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয়া হলে যাদের অন্তর কেঁপে উঠে, আল্লাহর আয়াত তিলাওয়াত করে শুনানো হলে যাদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং যারা তাদের প্রভুর উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করে।

إنما المؤمنون الذين إذا ذكر الله وجلت قلوبهم وإذا تليت عليهم آياته زادتهم إيمانا وعلى ربهم يتوكلون
Yusuf Ali
For, Believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord;

তারা হলো সেইসব লোক যারা কায়েম করে এবং আমরা তাদেরকে যে রিযিক দিয়েছি তা থেকে (আল্লাহর পথে) ব্যয় করে।

الذين يقيمون الصلاة ومما رزقناهم ينفقون
Yusuf Ali
Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance:
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারাই হক (প্রকৃত) । তাদের প্রভুর কাছে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অনেক মর্যাদা, মাগফিরাত এবং সম্মানজনক রিযিক।

أولئك هم المؤمنون حقا ۚ لهم درجات عند ربهم ومغفرة ورزق كريم
Yusuf Ali
Such in truth are the believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance:
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যেমন, তোমার প্রভু তোমাকে বের করেছেন তোমার ঘর থেকে সত্যের ভিত্তিতে। কিন্তু মুমিনদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক তা পছন্দ করেনি।

كما أخرجك ربك من بيتك بالحق وإن فريقا من المؤمنين لكارهون
Yusuf Ali
Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it,

তারা তোমার সাথে বিতর্ক করছিল সত্য বিষয় নিয়ে তা স্পষ্ট হয়ে যাবার পরও, যেনো তাদেরকে মৃত্যুর দিকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছিল আর তারা তা তাকিয়ে দেখছি

يجادلونك في الحق بعدما تبين كأنما يساقون إلى الموت وهم ينظرون
Yusuf Ali
Disputing with thee concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death and they (actually) saw it.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, তোমাদের ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন, দুটি দলের একটি দল তোমাদের আয়ত্তে আসবে, অথচ তোমরা চাইছিলে নিষ্কণ্টক দলটি তোমাদের আয়ত্তে আসুক। কিন্তু চাইছিলেন তাঁর বাণীর মাধ্যমে সত্যকে বাস্তবায়িত করবেন এবং কেটে দেবেন কাফিরদের শেকড়।

وإذ يعدكم الله إحدى الطائفتين أنها لكم وتودون أن غير ذات الشوكة تكون لكم ويريد الله أن يحق الحق بكلماته ويقطع دابر الكافرين
Yusuf Ali
Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers; -

যাতে করে তিনি সত্যকে সত্য হিসেবে আর বাতিলকে বাতিল হিসেবে প্রমাণিত করে দেন, যদিও অপরাধীরা তা অপছন্দ করছিল।

ليحق الحق ويبطل الباطل ولو كره المجرمون

That He might justify Truth and prove Falsehood false, distasteful though it be to those in guilt.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন তোমরা তোমাদের প্রভুর কাছে সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করছিলে, তখন তিনি তোমাদের প্রার্থনা কবুল করে বলেছিলেন: ‘আমি তোমাদের সাহায্য করবো এক হাজার ফেরেশতা দিয়ে, তারা যাবে একের পর এক।

إذ تستغيثون ربكم فاستجاب لكم أني ممدكم بألف من الملائكة مردفين
Yusuf Ali
Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এ ব্যবস্থা করেন একটি শুভ সংবাদ হিসেবে এবং এর ফলে যেনো তোমাদের মন প্রশান্তি লাভ করে। আসলে সাহায্য তো আল্লাহর কাছ থেকেই আসে। নিশ্চয়ই মহাপরাক্রমশালী প্রজ্ঞাবান।

وما جعله الله إلا بشرى ولتطمئن به قلوبكم ۚ وما النصر إلا من عند الله ۚ إن الله عزيز حكيم
Yusuf Ali
Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের স্বস্তির জন্যে তোমাদেরকে তন্দ্রায় আচ্ছন্ন করেছিলেন এবং আসমান থেকে তোমাদের উপর পানি বর্ষণ করেছিলেন, যাতে করে তা দিয়ে তোমাদের পবিত্র করে দেন, তোমাদের থেকে শয়তানের কুমন্ত্রণা দূর করে দেন এবং তোমাদের অন্তরসমূহকে সংহত ও মজবুত করে দেন আর তোমাদের কদমকে করে দেন মজবুত।

إذ يغشيكم النعاس أمنة منه وينزل عليكم من السماء ماء ليطهركم به ويذهب عنكم رجز الشيطان وليربط على قلوبكم ويثبت به الأقدام
Yusuf Ali
Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, তোমাদের প্রভু ফেরেশতাদের প্রতি অহি করে বলেছিলেন: আমি তোমাদের সাথে আছি, তোমরা মুমিনদের অবিচল রাখো। অচিরেই আমি কাফিরদের অন্তরে সঞ্চার করে দেবো ভয় আর আতঙ্ক। অতএব তোমরা আঘাত করো তাদের গর্দানে আর আঘাত করো তাদের জোড়ায় জোড়ায়।

إذ يوحي ربك إلى الملائكة أني معكم فثبتوا الذين آمنوا ۚ سألقي في قلوب الذين كفروا الرعب فاضربوا فوق الأعناق واضربوا منهم كل بنان
Yusuf Ali
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger - tips off them."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এর কারণ, তারা ও তাঁর রসূলের বিরোধিতা করেছে, আর যে কেউ এবং তাঁর রসূলের বিরোধিতা করে, সে জেনে রাখুক, কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।

ذلك بأنهم شاقوا الله ورسوله ۚ ومن يشاقق الله ورسوله فإن الله شديد العقاب
Yusuf Ali
This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger: If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা এরি উপযুক্ত, সুতরাং আস্বাদন করো। এ ছাড়াও কাফিরদের জন্যে রয়েছে আগুনের আযাব।

ذلكم فذوقوه وأن للكافرين عذاب النار
Yusuf Ali
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! যখনই তোমরা বাহিনীর সম্মুখীন হবে, তখন কিছুতেই পিছু হটবে না,

يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا لقيتم الذين كفروا زحفا فلا تولوهم الأدبار
Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যুদ্ধের কৌশল কিংবা নিজেদের দলের সাথে মিলিত হবার উদ্দেশ্য ছাড়া। সেদিন যে কেউ বাহিনী থেকে পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করবে, সে আল্লাহর গজবে নিপতিত হবে এবং তার আশ্রয় হবে জাহান্নাম, আর সেটা খুবই নিকৃষ্ট ধরনের ফিরে যাবার জায়গা।

ومن يولهم يومئذ دبره إلا متحرفا لقتال أو متحيزا إلى فئة فقد باء بغضب من الله ومأواه جهنم ۖ وبئس المصير
Yusuf Ali
If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own) - he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell, - an evil refuge (indeed)!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা তাদের হত্যা করোনি, বরং তাদের হত্যা করেছেন । আর তুমি যখন (তাদের দিকে কংকর) নিক্ষেপ করেছিলে তখন তুমি নিক্ষেপ করোনি, বরং আল্লাহ্ই নিক্ষেপ করেছিলেন, যাতে করে মুমিনদেরকে তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে উত্তমভাবে পরীক্ষা করা যায়। নিশ্চয় সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।

فلم تقتلوهم ولكن الله قتلهم ۚ وما رميت إذ رميت ولكن الله رمى ۚ وليبلي المؤمنين منه بلاء حسنا ۚ إن الله سميع عليم
Yusuf Ali
It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এটা ছিলো তোমাদেরই জন্যে, আর অবশ্যি কাফিরদের চক্রান্তকে করে দেন অকেজো।

ذلكم وأن الله موهن كيد الكافرين
Yusuf Ali
That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(হে কাফিররা!) তোমরা তো ফায়সালা চেয়েছিলে। এখন ফায়সালা তোমরা পেয়ে গেছো। যদি তোমরা (যুদ্ধ সন্ত্রাস ও নির্যাতন করা থেকে) বিরত হও, তবে সেটা তোমাদের জন্যেই উত্তম। কিন্তু তোমরা যদি পুনরায় করো, তাহলে আমরাও পুনরায় শাস্তি দেবো এবং তোমাদের বাহিনী সংখ্যায় অনেক বেশি হলেও তা তোমাদের কোনো কাজেই আসবে না। অবশ্যি মুমিনদের সাথে রয়েছেন।

إن تستفتحوا فقد جاءكم الفتح ۖ وإن تنتهوا فهو خير لكم ۖ وإن تعودوا نعد ولن تغني عنكم فئتكم شيئا ولو كثرت وأن الله مع المؤمنين
Yusuf Ali
(O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করো এবং তাঁর রসূলের। আর তোমরা তার থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়োনা, অথচ তোমরা তার কথা শুনছো।

يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله ورسوله ولا تولوا عنه وأنتم تسمعون
Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা ঐসব লোকের মতো হয়োনা, যারা বলে, ‘আমরা শুনেছি’, অথচ তারা শুনেনি।

ولا تكونوا كالذين قالوا سمعنا وهم لا يسمعون
Yusuf Ali
Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not:
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আল্লাহর কাছে নিকৃষ্ট জীব হলো সেই বধির ও বোবা লোকেরা - যারা বেআকল।

۞ إن شر الدواب عند الله الصم البكم الذين لا يعقلون
Yusuf Ali
For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb, - those who understand not.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যদি তাদের মধ্যে ভালো কিছু আছে বলে জানতেন, তাহলে অবশ্যি তাদের শুনাতেন। তবে তাদের শুনালেও তারা উপেক্ষা করে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিতো।

ولو علم الله فيهم خيرا لأسمعهم ۖ ولو أسمعهم لتولوا وهم معرضون
Yusuf Ali
If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! রসূল যখন তোমাদেরকে এমন কোনো বিষয়ের দিকে ডাকে, যা তোমাদের প্রাণবন্তু করবে, তখন তোমরা ও রসূলের আহবানে সাড়া দেবে। জেনে রাখো, ব্যক্তি ও তার অন্তরের মধ্যবর্তী হয়ে থাকেন এবং তাঁরই কাছে তোমাদের হাশর করা হবে।

يا أيها الذين آمنوا استجيبوا لله وللرسول إذا دعاكم لما يحييكم ۖ واعلموا أن الله يحول بين المرء وقلبه وأنه إليه تحشرون
Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা সেই ফিতনা থেকে আত্মরক্ষা করো, যা শুধুমাত্র তোমাদের মধ্যকার যালিমদেরই আক্রান্ত করবে না। জেনে রাখো কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা।

واتقوا فتنة لا تصيبن الذين ظلموا منكم خاصة ۖ واعلموا أن الله شديد العقاب
Yusuf Ali
And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, তোমরা ছিলে কয়েকজন মাত্র। দেশে তোমাদের দুর্বল করে রাখা হয়েছিল। তোমরা আশংকা করছিলে লোকেরা তোমাদের ছোঁ মেরে ধরে ফেলবে। সে অবস্থা থেকে উদ্ধার করে তোমাদের আশ্রয় দিয়েছেন, নিজ সাহায্যের মাধ্যমে তোমাদের শক্তিশালী করেছেন এবং উত্তম জীবিকার ব্যবস্থা করেছেন, যাতে তোমরা শোকর আদায় করো।

واذكروا إذ أنتم قليل مستضعفون في الأرض تخافون أن يتخطفكم الناس فآواكم وأيدكم بنصره ورزقكم من الطيبات لعلكم تشكرون
Yusuf Ali
Call to mind when ye were a small (band), despised through the land, and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you; But He provided a safe asylum for you, strengthened you with His aid, and gave you Good things for sustenance: that ye might be grateful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা জেনে শুনে এবং রসূলের খিয়ানত করোনা এবং তোমাদের পরস্পরের আমানতেরও খিয়ানত করোনা।

يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تخونوا الله والرسول وتخونوا أماناتكم وأنتم تعلمون
Yusuf Ali
O ye that believe! betray not the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
জেনে রাখো, তোমাদের মাল - সম্পদ এবং সন্তান - সন্ততি একটি পরীক্ষা, আর বড় পুরস্কার তো মূলত আল্লাহর কাছেই রয়েছে।

واعلموا أنما أموالكم وأولادكم فتنة وأن الله عنده أجر عظيم
Yusuf Ali
And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা যদি আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, তাহলে তিনি তোমাদেরকে ভালো - মন্দের মধ্যে পার্থক্য করার একটি মানদন্ড দেবেন এবং তোমাদের থেকে মুছে দেবেন তোমাদের পাপগুলো আর ক্ষমা করে দেবেন তোমাদের ত্রুটি বিচ্যুতি। তো মহা অনুগ্রহের মালিক।

يا أيها الذين آمنوا إن تتقوا الله يجعل لكم فرقانا ويكفر عنكم سيئاتكم ويغفر لكم ۗ والله ذو الفضل العظيم
Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কাফিররা যখন তোমার বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্ত করছিল তোমাকে বন্দী করার, কিংবা হত্যা করার, অথবা দেশ থেকে বের করে দেয়ার; তারা চক্রান্ত করছিল আর আল্লাহ্ও কৌশল করছিলেন, আর আল্লাহ্ই সর্বোত্তম কৌশলী।

وإذ يمكر بك الذين كفروا ليثبتوك أو يقتلوك أو يخرجوك ۚ ويمكرون ويمكر الله ۖ والله خير الماكرين
Yusuf Ali
Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন তাদের কাছে আমাদের আয়াত শুনানো হয়, তারা বলে: ‘আমরা শুনলাম, ইচ্ছা করলে আমরাও এর মতো বলতে পারি। এতো সেকালের লোকদের কাহিনী ছাড়া আর কিছু নয়।’

وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا قالوا قد سمعنا لو نشاء لقلنا مثل هذا ۙ إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين
Yusuf Ali
When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন তারা বলেছিল: ‘হে ! এ (দীন, এ কুরআন) যদি তোমার পক্ষ থেকে সত্য হয়ে থাকে, তাহলে আমাদের উপর আকাশ থেকে পাথর বর্ষণ করো, অথবা আমাদেরকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাবে নিমজ্জিত করো।’

وإذ قالوا اللهم إن كان هذا هو الحق من عندك فأمطر علينا حجارة من السماء أو ائتنا بعذاب أليم
Yusuf Ali
Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(হে নবী!) তুমি তাদের মধ্যে থাকবে আর তাদের শাস্তি দেবেন এমনটি করবেন না। আর যতো দিন তারা ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করবে, ততোদিন তাদের শাস্তি দেয়া আল্লাহর নীতি নয়।

وما كان الله ليعذبهم وأنت فيهم ۚ وما كان الله معذبهم وهم يستغفرون
Yusuf Ali
But Allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst thou wast amongst them; nor was He going to send it whilst they could ask for pardon.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের কী বলার আছে, কেন তাদের শাস্তি দেবেন না, যখন তারা মসজিদুল হারাম থেকে (মুমিনদের) বাধা দেয়। তারা তো এই মসজিদের মুতাওয়াল্লি (তত্ত্বাবধায়ক) নয়, শুধু মুত্তাকিরাই হতে পারে এর মুতাওয়াল্লি, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানেনা।

وما لهم ألا يعذبهم الله وهم يصدون عن المسجد الحرام وما كانوا أولياءه ۚ إن أولياؤه إلا المتقون ولكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون
Yusuf Ali
But what plea have they that Allah should not punish them, when they keep out (men) from the sacred Mosque - and they are not its guardians? No men can be its guardians except the righteous; but most of them do not understand.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কা’বা ঘরের ওখানে তাদের তো হলো শুধু শিস দেয়া আর তালি দেয়া। সুতরাং তোমরা আযাবের স্বাদ ভোগ করো তোমাদের কুফুরির কারণে।

وما كان صلاتهم عند البيت إلا مكاء وتصدية ۚ فذوقوا العذاب بما كنتم تكفرون
Yusuf Ali
Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed."

যারা কুফুরির পথ অবলম্বন করেছে তারা তাদের অর্থ - সম্পদ ব্যয় করে মানুষকে আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দেয়ার জন্যে। তারা তাদের সম্পদ ব্যয় করেই যাবে এবং এটা তাদের হতাশার কারণ হবে। অবশেষে তারা পরাজিত হবে। যারা কুফুরি করে তাদেরকে শেষ পর্যন্ত জাহান্নামে হাশর (সমবেত) করা হবে।

إن الذين كفروا ينفقون أموالهم ليصدوا عن سبيل الله ۚ فسينفقونها ثم تكون عليهم حسرة ثم يغلبون ۗ والذين كفروا إلى جهنم يحشرون
Yusuf Ali
The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell; -
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এমনটি করার কারণ হলো, মন্দকে ভালো থেকে আলাদা করে দিতে চান এবং মন্দদের কাউকেও কারো উপর স্থান দিতে চান, তারপর তাদের সবাইকে জমা করে নিক্ষেপ করবেন জাহান্নামে। আর তারাই হবে আসল ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।

ليميز الله الخبيث من الطيب ويجعل الخبيث بعضه على بعض فيركمه جميعا فيجعله في جهنم ۚ أولئك هم الخاسرون

In order that Allah may separate the impure from the pure, put the impure, one on another, heap them together, and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা কুফুরি করে তাদের বলো, তারা যদি বিরত হয় তবে অতীতের কর্মের জন্যে তাদের ক্ষমা করা হবে, কিন্তু তারা যদি পুনরাবৃত্তি করে, তবে আগেকার লোকদের (করুণ) দৃষ্টান্ত তো তাদের সামনেই রয়েছে।

قل للذين كفروا إن ينتهوا يغفر لهم ما قد سلف وإن يعودوا فقد مضت سنت الأولين
Yusuf Ali
Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের বিরুদ্ধে লড়ে যাও, যতোক্ষণ না ফিতনা দূর হয়ে যায় এবং দীন পুরোপুরি আল্লাহর জন্যে হয়ে যায়। তারা যদি (ফিতনা থেকে) বিরত হয়, তবে তারা যা করবে তার প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখবেন।

وقاتلوهم حتى لا تكون فتنة ويكون الدين كله لله ۚ فإن انتهوا فإن الله بما يعملون بصير
Yusuf Ali
And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কিন্তু তারা যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে জেনে রাখো, তোমাদের মাওলা (অভিভাবক) তো । তিনিই উত্তম মাওলা এবং উত্তম সাহায্যকারী।

وإن تولوا فاعلموا أن الله مولاكم ۚ نعم المولى ونعم النصير

If they refuse, be sure that Allah is your Protector - the best to protect and the best to help.

জেনে নাও, তোমরা যে গনিমত লাভ করেছো, তার পাঁচ ভাগের একভাগ আল্লাহর, রসূলের, রসূলের নিকটাত্মীয়দের, এতিমদের, মিসকিনদের এবং পথিকদের জন্যে নির্ধারন করা হলো। যদি তোমরা ঈমান রাখো আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং সেই বিষয়ের প্রতি যা আমরা নাযিল করেছি আমাদের দাসের প্রতি মীমাংসার দিন, যেদিন দুই দল পরস্পরের মোকাবেলা করেছিল। সব বিষয়ে শক্তিমান।

۞ واعلموا أنما غنمتم من شيء فأن لله خمسه وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل إن كنتم آمنتم بالله وما أنزلنا على عبدنا يوم الفرقان يوم التقى الجمعان ۗ والله على كل شيء قدير
Yusuf Ali
And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah, - and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer, - if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing, - the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things.

স্মরণ করো, (বদর প্রান্তরে) তোমরা ছিলে উপত্যকার নিকট প্রান্তে, তারা ছিলো দূরপ্রান্তে আর আরোহী কাফেলা দল ছিলো অপেক্ষাকৃত নিম্নাঞ্চলে। তোমরা যদি পরস্পরের মধ্যে যুদ্ধের (অবস্থান) সম্পর্কে সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে চাইতে, তবে সে সিদ্ধান্ত সম্পর্কে তোমাদের মধ্যে মতবিরোধ ঘটতো। কিন্তু যা করার তা করে দিলেন। ফলে যারা হালাক হবার তারা যেনো সত্য প্রকাশের পর হালাক হয়, আর যারা জীবিত থাকবে তারাও যেনো সত্য প্রকাশের পর জীবিত থাকে। নিশ্চয়ই সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।

إذ أنتم بالعدوة الدنيا وهم بالعدوة القصوى والركب أسفل منكم ۚ ولو تواعدتم لاختلفتم في الميعاد ۙ ولكن ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا ليهلك من هلك عن بينة ويحيى من حي عن بينة ۗ وإن الله لسميع عليم
Yusuf Ali
Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, (বদর প্রান্তরে) তোমাকে স্বপ্ন দেখিয়েছিলেন, তারা সংখ্যায় অল্প। তিনি যদি তোমাকে দেখাতেন তারা সংখ্যায় অনেক, তাহলে তোমরা সাহস হারিয়ে ফেলতে এবং যুদ্ধের বিষয়ে নিজেদের মধ্যে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি করতে। কিন্তু তোমাদের রক্ষা করেছেন। নিশ্চয়ই অন্তরে যা আছে সে সম্পর্কে তিনি অবগত।

إذ يريكهم الله في منامك قليلا ۖ ولو أراكهم كثيرا لفشلتم ولتنازعتم في الأمر ولكن الله سلم ۗ إنه عليم بذات الصدور

Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.

স্মরণ করো, যুদ্ধের ময়দানে তিনি তাদেরকে তোমাদের দৃষ্টিতে অল্প সংখ্যক দেখিয়েছেন এবং তোমাদেরকেও তাদের দৃষ্টিতে স্বল্প সংখ্যক দেখিয়েছেন, যা ঘটার ছিলো তা সম্পন্ন করার জন্যে। সব বিষয় শেষ পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর দিকেই রুজু হয়।

وإذ يريكموهم إذ التقيتم في أعينكم قليلا ويقللكم في أعينهم ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا ۗ وإلى الله ترجع الأمور
Yusuf Ali
And remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to Allah do all questions go back (for decision).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! যখনই তোমরা কোনো সৈন্যদলের সাথে যুদ্ধের সম্মুখীন হবে, তখন অবশ্যি অটল অবিচল থাকবে, এবং আল্লাহকে অধিক অধিক স্মরণ করবে, তাহলে অবশ্যি তোমরা সফল হবে।

يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا لقيتم فئة فاثبتوا واذكروا الله كثيرا لعلكم تفلحون

O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper:

তোমরা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করো এবং তাঁর রসূলের। আর তোমরা নিজেদের মধ্যে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হয়োনা। তাহলে তোমরা দুর্বল হয়ে পড়বে এবং এর ফলে তোমাদের প্রতিপত্তি বিলুপ্ত হয়ে যাবে এবং সবর করো। নিশ্চয়ই সবর অবলম্বনকারীদের সাথেই রয়েছেন।

وأطيعوا الله ورسوله ولا تنازعوا فتفشلوا وتذهب ريحكم ۖ واصبروا ۚ إن الله مع الصابرين

And obey Allah and His Messenger; and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere:

তোমরা ঐসব লোকদের মতো হয়োনা যারা দাম্ভিকতা প্রদর্শন ও লোক দেখানোর জন্যে ঘর থেকে বের হয়েছিল এবং যারা মানুষকে আল্লাহর পথে চলতে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে। তারা যা করে তা পরিবেষ্টন করে আছেন।

ولا تكونوا كالذين خرجوا من ديارهم بطرا ورئاء الناس ويصدون عن سبيل الله ۚ والله بما يعملون محيط
Yusuf Ali
And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah: For Allah compasseth round about all that they do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, শয়তান তাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কর্মকান্ডকে চাকচিক্যময় করে রেখেছিল এবং বলেছিল: ‘আজ কোনো মানুষই তোমাদের উপর বিজয়ী হতে পারবে না, আমি তোমাদের পাশেই আছি।’ তারপর উভয় দল যখন মুখোমুখি হলো, তখন সে পেছন থেকে কেটে পড়লো এবং বললো: ‘তোমাদের সাথে আমার কোনো সম্পর্ক নেই। আমি এমন কিছু দেখছি, যা তোমরা দেখছোনা। আমি আল্লাহকে ভয় পাই। কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা।’

وإذ زين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم وقال لا غالب لكم اليوم من الناس وإني جار لكم ۖ فلما تراءت الفئتان نكص على عقبيه وقال إني بريء منكم إني أرى ما لا ترون إني أخاف الله ۚ والله شديد العقاب
Yusuf Ali
Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন মুনাফিকরা এবং যাদের মনে রোগ ছিলো তারা বলছিল: ‘এদের দীন এদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছে।’ যে কেউ আল্লাহর উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করে, সে জেনে রাখুক, মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাবান।

إذ يقول المنافقون والذين في قلوبهم مرض غر هؤلاء دينهم ۗ ومن يتوكل على الله فإن الله عزيز حكيم
Yusuf Ali
Lo! the hypocrites say, and those in whose hearts is a disease: "These people, - their religion has misled them." But if any trust in Allah, behold! Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি যদি দেখতে, ফেরেশতারা যখন কাফিরদের ওফাত (মৃত্যু) দিতে আসে তাদের চেহারা ও পিঠে আঘাত করতে থাকে এবং বলে, স্বাদ গ্রহণ করো দহন যন্ত্রণার।

ولو ترى إذ يتوفى الذين كفروا ۙ الملائكة يضربون وجوههم وأدبارهم وذوقوا عذاب الحريق

If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire -
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এ তো সেই জিনিস যা তোমাদের দুই হাত কামাই করে আগেই পাঠিয়েছে। আর তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি বিন্দুমাত্র যুলুম করেন না।

ذلك بما قدمت أيديكم وأن الله ليس بظلام للعبيد

"Because of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth; for Allah is never unjust to His servants:

ফেরাউনের অনুসারীদের এবং তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের মতোই এরা অস্বীকার করেছে আল্লাহর আয়াত। ফলে তাদের পাপের জন্যে তাদের শাস্তি প্রদান করেন। নিশ্চয়ই শক্তিমান, কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।

كدأب آل فرعون ۙ والذين من قبلهم ۚ كفروا بآيات الله فأخذهم الله بذنوبهم ۗ إن الله قوي شديد العقاب
Yusuf Ali
"(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment:

এর কারণ আল্লাহর নীতি হলো, তিনি কোনো জনগোষ্ঠীকে যে নিয়ামত দান করেন, তা ততোক্ষণ পর্যন্ত পরিবর্তন করেন না, যতোক্ষণ পর্যন্ত তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের অবস্থার পরিবর্তন না করে। সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।

ذلك بأن الله لم يك مغيرا نعمة أنعمها على قوم حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهم ۙ وأن الله سميع عليم

"Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things)."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ফেরাউনের অনুসারীদের মতো এবং তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের মতো এরাও আল্লাহর আয়াত প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছে। ফলে তাদের পাপের জন্যে আমরা তাদের হালাক করেছি আর ফেরাউনের অনুসারীদেরও আমরা ডুবিয়ে মেরেছিলাম। এরা সবাই ছিলো যালিম।

كدأب آل فرعون ۙ والذين من قبلهم ۚ كذبوا بآيات ربهم فأهلكناهم بذنوبهم وأغرقنا آل فرعون ۚ وكل كانوا ظالمين
Yusuf Ali
(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them": They treated as false the Signs of their Lord: so We destroyed them for their crimes, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh: for they were all oppressors and wrong - doers.

আল্লাহর কাছে সবচে’ নিকৃষ্ট জীব হলো তারা, যারা কুফুরি করে এবং ঈমান আনেনা।

إن شر الدواب عند الله الذين كفروا فهم لا يؤمنون

For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are those who reject Him: They will not believe.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের মধ্যে তুমি যাদের সাথে চুক্তিবদ্ধ, তারা চুক্তি করার পর প্রত্যেকবার তাদের চুক্তি ভেঙ্গে ফেলে এবং তারা সতর্ক হয়না।

الذين عاهدت منهم ثم ينقضون عهدهم في كل مرة وهم لا يتقون

They are those with whom thou didst make a covenant, but they break their covenant every time, and they have not the fear (of Allah).

তোমরা যদি যুদ্ধে তাদেরকে বাগে পাও, তাহলে তাদের উত্তরসূরীদের থেকে তাদের বিচ্ছিন্ন করে এমনভাবে বিধ্বস্ত করবে, যাতে করে তারা শিক্ষা লাভ করে।

فإما تثقفنهم في الحرب فشرد بهم من خلفهم لعلهم يذكرون

If ye gain the mastery over them in war, disperse, with them, those who follow them, that they may remember.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যদি তোমরা কোনো সম্প্রদায় থেকে চুক্তি ভঙ্গের আশংকা করো, সে ক্ষেত্রে তোমার চুক্তি তুমি ঠিক সেভাবেই বাতিল করবে, কারণ খিয়ানতকারীদের পছন্দ করেন না।

وإما تخافن من قوم خيانة فانبذ إليهم على سواء ۚ إن الله لا يحب الخائنين
Yusuf Ali
If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কাফিররা যেনো মনে করেনা যে, তারা পার পেয়ে গেছে। তারা নিশ্চয়ই মুমিনদের দুর্বল করতে পারবে না।

ولا يحسبن الذين كفروا سبقوا ۚ إنهم لا يعجزون
Yusuf Ali
Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা তাদের সাথে মোকাবেলার জন্যে সাধ্যমতো শক্তি ও অশ্ববাহিনী প্রস্তুত রাখবে, যা দিয়ে তোমরা আল্লাহর দুশমন ও তোমাদের দুশমনদের আতংকিত করে রাখবে। তাছাড়া অন্যদেরকেও, যাদেরকে তোমরা জানোনা। তাদের জানেন। তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে যা - ই খরচ করো না কেন, তার পুরো প্রতিদান তোমাদের দেয়া হবে এবং তোমাদের প্রতি কোনো প্রকার যুলুম করা হবেনা।

وأعدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة ومن رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو الله وعدوكم وآخرين من دونهم لا تعلمونهم الله يعلمهم ۚ وما تنفقوا من شيء في سبيل الله يوف إليكم وأنتم لا تظلمون

Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা যদি সন্ধির জন্য হাত বাড়ায়, তুমিও সন্ধির জন্যে হাত বাড়িয়ে দেবে এবং আল্লাহর উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করবে, নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।

۞ وإن جنحوا للسلم فاجنح لها وتوكل على الله ۚ إنه هو السميع العليم
Yusuf Ali
But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা যদি তোমাকে ধোকা দিতে চায়, সে ক্ষেত্রে আল্লাহই তোমার জন্যে যথেষ্ট। তিনি তো তোমাকে তাঁর নিজ সাহায্য আর মুমিনদের দিয়ে শক্তিশালী করেছেন।

وإن يريدوا أن يخدعوك فإن حسبك الله ۚ هو الذي أيدك بنصره وبالمؤمنين
Yusuf Ali
Should they intend to deceive thee, - verily Allah sufficeth thee: He it is That hath strengthened thee with His aid and with (the company of) the Believers;

এবং তাদের অন্তরে সম্প্রীতি স্থাপন করে দিয়েছেন। তুমি যদি পৃথিবীর সমস্ত সম্পদও ব্যয় করতে, তাদের অন্তরে সম্প্রীতির বন্ধন স্থাপন করতে পারতে না। কিন্তু তাদের অন্তরে সম্প্রীতির বন্ধন স্থাপন করে দিয়েছেন, তিনি মহাক্ষমতাশালী, বিজ্ঞানময়।

وألف بين قلوبهم ۚ لو أنفقت ما في الأرض جميعا ما ألفت بين قلوبهم ولكن الله ألف بينهم ۚ إنه عزيز حكيم

And (moreover) He hath put affection between their hearts: not if thou hadst spent all that is in the earth, couldst thou have produced that affection, but Allah hath done it: for He is Exalted in might, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! তোমার জন্যে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট এবং মুমিনদের মধ্যে যারা তোমার অনুসরণ করে তারা।

يا أيها النبي حسبك الله ومن اتبعك من المؤمنين

O Prophet! sufficient unto thee is Allah, - (unto thee) and unto those who follow thee among the Believers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! মুমিনদের উদ্বুদ্ধ করো যুদ্ধের জন্যে। তোমাদের মধ্যে যদি বিশজন অবিচল ব্যক্তি থাকে, তারা বিজয়ী হবে দুইশ জনের উপর। আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যদি একশজন থাকে, তারা বিজয়ী হবে এক হাজার কাফিরের উপর। কারণ তারা নির্বোধ লোক।

يا أيها النبي حرض المؤمنين على القتال ۚ إن يكن منكم عشرون صابرون يغلبوا مائتين ۚ وإن يكن منكم مائة يغلبوا ألفا من الذين كفروا بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون
Yusuf Ali
O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এখন তোমাদের ভার লাঘব করেছেন। তিনি জানেন তোমাদের মধ্যে দুর্বলতা আছে। এখন যদি তোমাদের একশ অবিচল ব্যক্তি থাকে, তারা দু’শ জনের উপর বিজয়ী হবে। তোমাদের যদি এক হাজার থাকে তারা বিজয়ী হবে দুই হাজারের উপর আল্লাহর অনুমতিক্রমে। অবিচল লোকদের সাথেই আছেন।

الآن خفف الله عنكم وعلم أن فيكم ضعفا ۚ فإن يكن منكم مائة صابرة يغلبوا مائتين ۚ وإن يكن منكم ألف يغلبوا ألفين بإذن الله ۗ والله مع الصابرين

For the present, Allah hath lightened your (task), for He knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But (even so), if there are a hundred of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of Allah: for Allah is with those who patiently persevere.

দেশে শত্রুদেরকে ব্যাপকভাবে পরাস্ত না করা পর্যন্ত বন্দী রাখা কোনো নবীর জন্যে উচিত নয়। তোমরা চাইছো দুনিয়ার সম্পদ, আর চান । ক্ষমতাশালী, প্রজ্ঞাবান।

ما كان لنبي أن يكون له أسرى حتى يثخن في الأرض ۚ تريدون عرض الدنيا والله يريد الآخرة ۗ والله عزيز حكيم
Yusuf Ali
It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আল্লাহর পূর্ব বিধান না থাকলে তোমরা যা গ্রহণ করেছো সেটার জন্যে তোমাদের উপর বড় ধরনের আযাব আপতিত হতো।

لولا كتاب من الله سبق لمسكم فيما أخذتم عذاب عظيم

Had it not been for a previous ordainment from Allah, a severe penalty would have reached you for the (ransom) that ye took.

যুদ্ধে তোমরা যে হালাল ও উত্তম গণিমত পেয়েছো, তা খাও আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, নিশ্চয়ই ক্ষমাশীল দয়াময়।

فكلوا مما غنمتم حلالا طيبا ۚ واتقوا الله ۚ إن الله غفور رحيم

But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft - forgiving, Most Merciful.

হে নবী! তোমার হাতে যেসব বন্দী আছে তাদের বলো, যদি তোমাদের মধ্যে ভালো কিছু আছে বলে দেখেন, তাহলে তোমাদের থেকে যা কিছু নেয়া হয়েছে, তোমাদেরকে তার চাইতে উত্তম কিছু দান করবেন এবং তোমাদের ক্ষমা করে দেবেন। বড়ই ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।

يا أيها النبي قل لمن في أيديكم من الأسرى إن يعلم الله في قلوبكم خيرا يؤتكم خيرا مما أخذ منكم ويغفر لكم ۗ والله غفور رحيم

O Prophet! say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft - forgiving, Most Merciful."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা যদি তোমার সাথে খেয়ানত (বিশ্বাস ভঙ্গ) করতে চায়, তবে ইতোপূর্বে তো তারা আল্লাহর সাথেও খেয়ানত করেছে। তারপর তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাদের উপর শক্তিশালী করেছেন। অবশ্যি জ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।

وإن يريدوا خيانتك فقد خانوا الله من قبل فأمكن منهم ۗ والله عليم حكيم
Yusuf Ali
But if they have treacherous designs against thee, (O Messenger!), they have already been in treason against Allah, and so hath He given (thee) power over them. And Allah so He Who hath (full) knowledge and wisdom.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিশ্চয়ই যারা ঈমান এনেছে, হিজরত করেছে, নিজেদের জান ও মাল দিয়ে আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করেছে আর যারা (তাদেরকে) আশ্রয় দিয়েছে এবং সাহায্য করেছে, তারা পরস্পরের অলি। আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে কিন্তু হিজরত করেনি, হিজরত না করা পর্যন্ত তাদের অভিভাবকত্বের দায়িত্ব তোমার উপর নেই। তারা যদি দীনের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের কাছে সাহায্য চায়, সাহায্য করা তোমাদের কর্তব্য। তবে যদি তোমাদের এবং কোনো কওমের মধ্যে চুক্তি থাকে, সে চুক্তি ভঙ্গ করবে না। তোমরা যা আমল করো তা আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতে রয়েছে।

إن الذين آمنوا وهاجروا وجاهدوا بأموالهم وأنفسهم في سبيل الله والذين آووا ونصروا أولئك بعضهم أولياء بعض ۚ والذين آمنوا ولم يهاجروا ما لكم من ولايتهم من شيء حتى يهاجروا ۚ وإن استنصروكم في الدين فعليكم النصر إلا على قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق ۗ والله بما تعملون بصير
Yusuf Ali
Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid, - these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যারা কুফুরি করে তারা পরস্পরের অলি। তোমরা যদি তা না করো তবে দেশে ফিতনা ও বড় ধরনের ফাসাদ সৃষ্টি হবে।

والذين كفروا بعضهم أولياء بعض ۚ إلا تفعلوه تكن فتنة في الأرض وفساد كبير

The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief.

আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে, হিজরত করেছে এবং আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করেছে, এবং যারা তাদেরকে আশ্রয় দিয়েছে ও সাহায্য করেছে তারাই সত্যিকার । তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মাগফিরাত ও সম্মানজনক রিযিক।

والذين آمنوا وهاجروا وجاهدوا في سبيل الله والذين آووا ونصروا أولئك هم المؤمنون حقا ۚ لهم مغفرة ورزق كريم

Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid, - these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous.

আর যারা পরে ঈমান এনেছে, হিজরত করেছে এবং তোমাদের সাথে জিহাদে শরিক হয়েছে, তারাও তোমাদের অন্তরভুক্ত। আর আত্মীয়রা আল্লাহর বিধানে একজন অন্যজন অপেক্ষা বেশি হকদার। অবশ্যি সব বিষয়ে জ্ঞানী।

والذين آمنوا من بعد وهاجروا وجاهدوا معكم فأولئك منكم ۚ وأولو الأرحام بعضهم أولى ببعض في كتاب الله ۗ إن الله بكل شيء عليم
Yusuf Ali
And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company, - they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of Allah. Verily Allah is well - acquainted with all things.
