০১-০৪মানবজাতিকে এক আল্লাহর ইবাদত, তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা এবং তাঁর দিকে ফিরে আসার দাওয়াত দিতে রসূলের প্রতি নির্দেশ।
০৫-১১আল্লাহ্ মহাজ্ঞানী, সকল জীবের রিযিকদাতা, মহাবিশ্বের স্রষ্টা। পরকালের প্রতি মানুষের অস্বীকৃতি। কারা ক্ষমা লাভ করবে?
১২-২৪কুরআনের প্রতি সন্দেহপোষণকারীদের প্রতি চ্যালেঞ্জ। দুনিয়া পূজারিদের জন্য আখিরাতে কোনো অংশ নেই। আল্লাহর পথে বাধাদানকারীরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত। যারা ঈমান আনে এবং ভালো কাজ করে তারাই সফল।
২৫-৪৯নূহ আ.-এর জাতির প্রতি তাঁর দাওয়াত ও উপদেশ, তাঁর জাতির হঠকারিতা এবং তাদের ধ্বংস ও মুমিনদের মুক্তির ইতিহাস।
৫০-৬০আদ জাতির কাছে হুদ আ.-এর দাওয়াত ও উপদেশ। আল্লাহর দিকে আসতে তাদের অস্বীকৃতি এবং তাদের ধ্বংসের ইতিহাস।
৬১-৬৮সামুদ জাতির কাছে সালেহ্ আ.-এর দাওয়াত এবং তাদের অবাধ্যতা ও ধ্বংসের ইতিহাস।
৬৯-৭৬ইবরাহিম আ.-এর কাছে ফেরেশতাদের আগমন এবং তাঁর বৃদ্ধা স্ত্রীকে পুত্র সন্তানের সুসংবাদ।
৭৭-৮৩লুত জাতির অপকর্ম, তাঁর জাতিকে ধ্বংসের জন্য ফেরেশতাদের আগমন এবং তাদের ধ্বংসের ইতিহাস।
৮৪-৯৫মাদিয়ানবাসীকে শুয়াইব আ. কর্তৃক সংশোধন প্রচেষ্টার ইতিহাস। তাদের অবাধ্যতা ও ধ্বংসের বিবরণ।
৯৬-৯৯ফিরাউন ও তার জাতির কাছে মূসা আ. এর দাওয়াত এবং তাদের অবাধ্যতার বিবরণ।
১০০-১২৩নবীর অবাধ্য হওয়ার ব্যাপারে মানবজাতির প্রতি সতর্কবাণী। নবীর দাওয়াত গ্রহণের মাধ্যমে মানবজাতির ভাগ্যবান ও দুর্ভাগা এই দুভাগে বিভক্তি। বিরুদ্ধবাদীদের মোকাবেলায় নবীর প্রতি অনুসরণীয় নির্দেশাবলি।

আলিফ লাম রা। এটি একটি কিতাব এর আয়াতসমূহ বিজ্ঞানময় সুবিন্যস্ত, বিশদভাবে বর্ণিত, মহাবিজ্ঞানী সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ।

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Alif. Lam. Ra. (This is) a Scripture the revelations whereof are perfected and then expounded. (It cometh) from One Wise, ,
Transliteration
Aliflamra kitabun ohkimat ayatuhu thumma fussilat min ladun hakeemin khabeerin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(হে নবী! জানিয়ে দাও,) তোমরা ছাড়া আর কারো ইবাদত (আনুগত্য, দাসত্ব, পূজা, উপাসনা, প্রার্থনা) করোনা। আমি তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি একজন সতর্ককারী ও সুসংবাদদাতা।

(Saying): Serve none but Allah. Lo! I am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings.
Transliteration
Alla taAAbudoo illa Allaha innanee lakum minhu natheerun wabasheerun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা তোমাদের প্রভুর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করো এবং তাঁর দিকে ফিরে আসো, তাহলে তিনি একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত তোমাদের উত্তম জীবন সামগ্রী উপভোগ করার সুযোগ দেবেন এবং প্রত্যেক মর্যাদাবানকে দেবেন তার প্রাপ্য মর্যাদা। কিন্তু তোমরা যদি (একথা না মেনে) মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে আমি তোমাদের জন্যে আশংকা করছি এক গুরুতর দিনের আযাবের।

And (bidding you): Ask pardon of your Lord and turn to Him repentant. He will cause you to enjoy a fair estate until a time appointed. He giveth His bounty unto every bountiful one. But if ye turn away, lo! (then) I fear for you the retribution of an awful Day.
আল্লাহর কাছেই হবে তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন এবং তিনি সব বিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।

Unto Allah is your return, and He is Able to do all things.
Transliteration
Ila Allahi marjiAAukum wahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সাবধান! তারা তাঁর কাছ থেকে নিজেদের গোপন করার জন্যে তাদের বক্ষ দ্বিভাজ করে। সাবধান! তারা যখন তাদেরকে বস্ত্র দিয়ে ঢেকে নেয়, তখন তারা যা গোপন করে এবং যা প্রকাশ করে তিনি তা জানেন। অবশ্যি তিনি অন্তরের খবর বিশেষভাবে অবহিত।

Lo! now they fold up their breasts that they may hide (their thoughts) from Him. At the very moment when they cover themselves with their clothing, Allah knoweth that which they keep hidden and that which they proclaim. Lo! He is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men).
Transliteration
Ala innahum yathnoona sudoorahum liyastakhfoo minhu alaheena yastaghshoona thiyabahum yaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
পৃথিবীতে বিচরণকারী সব জীবের জীবিকার দায়িত্ব আল্লাহর। তাদের স্থায়ী এবং অস্থায়ী অবস্থানস্থল সম্পর্কে তিনি অবহিত। সবই একটি স্পষ্ট কিতাবে লিপিবদ্ধ রয়েছে।

And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof dependeth on Allah. He knoweth its habitation and its repository. All is in a clear Record.
Transliteration
Wama min dabbatin fee alardi illa AAala Allahi rizquha wayaAAlamu mustaqarraha wamustawdaAAaha kullun fee kitabin mubeenin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তিনিই মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন ছয়টি কালে এবং তাঁর আরশ ছিলো পানির উপর তোমাদের মধ্যে আমলের দিক থেকে কে উত্তম তা পরীক্ষার উদ্দেশ্যে। তুমি যদি তাদের বলো: ‘তোমরা অবশ্যি মৃত্যুর পর পুনরুত্থিত হবে,’ তখন কাফিররা অবশ্যি বলবে: ‘এতো এক সুস্পষ্ট ম্যাজিক।’

And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was upon the water - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. Yet if thou (O Muhammad) sayest: Lo! ye will be raised again after death! those who disbelieve will surely say: This is naught but mere magic.
আমরা যদি একটা নির্দিষ্ট সময়কাল তাদের উপর আযাব স্থগিত রাখি, তখন তারা অবশ্যি বলবে: ‘কী কারণে আসছে না সে জিনিসটি?’ সাবধান! যেদিন সেটি তাদের কাছে আসবে, তা আর ফেরত নেয়া হবেনা এবং তারা যে বিষয়টাকে নিয়ে ঠাট্টা বিদ্রূপ করছে তা তাদেরকে ঘেরাও করে ফেলবে।

And if We delay for them the doom until a reckoned time, they will surely say: What withholdeth it ? Verily on the day when it cometh unto them, it cannot be averted from them, and that which they derided will surround them.
Transliteration
Walain akhkharna AAanhumu alAAathaba ila ommatin maAAdoodatin layaqoolunna ma yahbisuhu ala yawma yateehim laysa masroofan AAanhum wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা যদি মানুষকে আমাদের রহমতের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাই এবং পরে তা তাদের থেকে উঠিয়ে নেই, তখন তারা হতাশ এবং অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে পড়ে।

And if we cause man to taste some mercy from Us and afterward withdraw it from him, lo! he is despairing, thankless.
আর দুঃখ - দুর্দশা স্পর্শ করার পর আমরা যদি তাদের সুখ - সম্পদের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাই, তখন অবশ্যি তারা বলবে: ‘আমার দুঃখ - দুর্দশা কেটে গেছে।’ তখন সে উল্লসিত ও অহংকারী হয়ে পড়ে।

And if We cause him to taste grace after some misfortune that had befallen him, he saith: The ills have gone from me. Lo! he is exultant, boastful;
তবে যারা সবর অবলম্বন করে এবং আমলে সালেহ্ করে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মাগফিরাত এবং বিশাল পুরস্কার।

Save those who persevere and do good works. Theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.
Transliteration
Illa allatheena sabaroo waAAamiloo alssalihati olaika lahum maghfiratun waajrun kabeerun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
লোকেরা যে বলে: ‘তার সাথে কোনো ধনভান্ডার নাযিল হলো না কেন? কিংবা তার সাথে ফেরেশতা এলোনা কেন?’ এ কারণে কি তুমি তোমার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ অহির কিছু অংশ বর্জন করবে? এবং এর ফলে কি তোমার মন ছোট হয়ে যাবে? জেনে রাখো, তুমি তো কেবলমাত্র একজন সতর্ককারী। সব বিষয়ে উকিল - দায়িত্বশীল।

A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him ? Thou art but a warner, and Allah is in charge of all things.
Transliteration
FalaAAallaka tarikun baAAda ma yooha ilayka wadaiqun bihi sadruka an yaqooloo lawla onzila AAalayhi kanzun aw jaa maAAahu malakun innama anta natheerun waAllahu AAala kulli shayin wakeelun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নাকি তারা বলে: ‘সে নিজেই এটা (কুরআন) রচনা করে নিয়েছে।’ তুমি বলো: ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকো তবে এটির অনুরূপ দশটি সূরা নিজেরা রচনা করে আনো এবং ছাড়া আর যাদেরকে পারো (সহযোগিতা নেয়ার জন্যে) ডেকে আনো।’

Or they say: He hath invented it. Say: Then bring ten surahs, the like thereof, invented, and call on everyone ye can beside Allah, if ye are truthful!
Transliteration
Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fatoo biAAashri suwarin mithlihi muftarayatin waodAAoo mani istataAAtum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা যদি তোমার এ আহবানে এগিয়ে না আসে, তবে জেনে রাখো, এটি (এই কুরআন) তো আল্লাহর এলেমের ভিত্তিতে নাযিল করা হয়েছে, আর তিনি ছাড়া কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই। সুতরাং তোমরা কি মুসলিম (মান্যকারী) হবে?

And if they answer not your prayer, then know that it is revealed only in the knowledge of Allah; and that there is no God save Him. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender ?
Transliteration
Fai llam yastajeeboo lakum faiAAlamoo annama onzila biAAilmi Allahi waan la ilaha illa huwa fahal antum muslimoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা দুনিয়ার জীবন এবং তার শোভা সৌন্দর্য কামনা করে, আমরা দুনিয়াতেই তাদের কাজের পূর্ণ প্রতিফল দিয়ে থাকি এবং সেখানে তাদের কোনো প্রকার কম দেয়া হয়না।

Whoso desireth the life of the world and its pomp, We shall repay them their deeds herein, and therein they will not be wronged.
Transliteration
Man kana yureedu alhayata alddunya wazeenataha nuwaffi ilayhim aAAmalahum feeha wahum feeha la yubkhasoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর আখিরাতে তাদের জন্যে জাহান্নাম ছাড়া আর কিছুই থাকেনা। তারা এখানে যা করে আখিরাতে তা নিষ্ফল হয়ে যাবে এবং তাদের সব কাজই অর্থহীন।

Those are they for whom is naught in the Hereafter save the Fire. (All) that they contrive here is vain and (all) that they are wont to do is fruitless.
Transliteration
Olaika allatheena laysa lahum fee alakhirati illa alnnaru wahabita masanaAAoo feeha wabatilun ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা কি ঐ লোকদের সমতুল্য হতে পারে, যারা তাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে এক সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণের (কুরআনের) উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত, যা তিলাওয়াত করে তাঁর প্রেরিত সাক্ষী (জিবরিল) এবং যার আগে এসেছিল মূসার উপর অবতীর্ণ কিতাব পথ প্রদর্শক ও রহমত হিসাবে? তারা এর প্রতি ঈমান রাখে। মানব দলসমূহের যারাই এটিকে অস্বীকার করে আগুনই হবে তাদের প্রতিশ্রুত স্থান। সুতরাং তুমি এটির সম্পর্কে কোনো প্রকার সন্দেহে থেকোনা। এটি তো তোমার প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে এক মহাসত্য। তবে অধিকাংশ লোকই বিশ্বাস করেনা।

Is he (to be counted equal with them) who relieth on a clear proof from his Lord, and a witness from Him reciteth it, and before it was the Book of Moses, an example and a mercy ? Such believe therein, and whoso disbelieveth therein of the clans, the Fire is his appointed place. So be not thou in doubt concerning it. Lo! it is the Truth from thy Lord; but most of mankind believe not.
Transliteration
Afaman kana AAala bayyinatin min rabbihi wayatloohu shahidun minhu wamin qablihi kitabu moosa imaman warahmatan olaika yuminoona bihi waman yakfur bihi mina alahzabi faalnnaru mawAAiduhu fala taku fee miryatin minhu innahu alhaqqu min rabbika walakinna akthara alnnasi la yuminoona

ঐ ব্যক্তির চাইতে বড় যালিম আর কে, যে মিথ্যা রচনা করে আল্লাহর প্রতি আরোপ করে। তাদের উপস্থাপন করা হবে তাদের প্রভুর দরবারে এবং সাক্ষীরা বলবে: এরাই তাদের প্রভুর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। সাবধান, যালিমদের প্রতি আল্লাহর লানত,

Who doeth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie concerning Allah ? Such will be brought before their Lord, and the witnesses will say: These are they who lied concerning their Lord. Now the curse of Allah is upon wrong - doers,
এরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহকে অক্ষম করতে পারবে না। আর প্রকৃতপক্ষে ছাড়া তো আর তাদের কোনো অলি ছিলনা। তাদের আযাব দ্বিগুণ করা হবে। তাদের শোনারও সামর্থ ছিলনা এবং তারা দেখতেও পেতোনা।

Such will not escape in the earth, nor have they any protecting friends beside Allah. For them the torment will be double. They could not bear to hear, and they used not to see.
Transliteration
Olaika lam yakoonoo muAAjizeena fee alardi wama kana lahum min dooni Allahi min awliyaa yudaAAafu lahumu alAAathabu ma kanoo yastateeAAoona alssamAAa wama kanoo yubsiroona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করেছে এবং তাদের কল্পিত (শরিকরা) তখন তাদের থেকে উধাও হয়ে যাবে।

Such are they who have lost their souls, and that which they used to invent hath failed them.
Transliteration
Olaika allatheena khasiroo anfusahum wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কোনো সন্দেহ নেই, আখিরাতে তারা হবে সবচেয়ে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।

Assuredly in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.
Transliteration
La jarama annahum fee alakhirati humu alakhsaroona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ঈমান আনে, এবং আমলে সালেহ্ করে এবং তাদের প্রভুর প্রতি বিনীত হয়ে জীবন যাপন করে, তারাই হবে জান্নাতের অধিকারী, সেখানেই থাকবে তারা চিরকাল।

Lo! those who believe and do good works and humble themselves before their Lord: such are rightful owners of the Garden; they will abide therein.
এই দুই পক্ষের উপমা হলো এ রকম, যেমন একজন হলো অন্ধ ও বধির এবং অপরজন হলো চক্ষুষ্মান ও শ্রবণশক্তি সম্পন্ন। এরা দুইজন কি সমতুল্য? কেন তোমরা বুঝার চেষ্টা করোনা?

The similitude of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer. Are they equal in similitude ? Will ye not then be admonished ?
আমরা নূহকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তার কওমের কাছে। (সে তাদের বলেছিল), আমি তোমাদের প্রতি একজন সুস্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী।

And We sent Noah unto his folk (and he said): Lo! I am a plain warner unto you.
Transliteration
Walaqad arsalna noohan ila qawmihi innee lakum natheerun mubeenun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা ছাড়া আর কারো ইবাদত করোনা। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে এক বেদনাদায়ক দিনের আযাবের আশংকা করছি।

That ye serve none, save Allah. Lo! I fear for you the retribution of a painful Day.
Transliteration
An la taAAbudoo illa Allaha innee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin aleemin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তখন তার কওমের প্রধানরা বলেছিল: ‘আমরা তো তোমাকে আমাদের মতোই একজন মানুষ ছাড়া আর কিছুই দেখছিনা। আর আমরা বাহ্য দৃষ্টিতেই দেখছি, যারা তোমার অনুসরণ করছে তারা আমাদের মধ্যে একেবারেই নীচু শ্রেণীর। আমরা আমাদের উপর তোমাদের কোনো শ্রেষ্ঠত্বই দেখছি না। বরং আমরা তো মনে করি তোমরা সবাই মিথ্যাবাদী।’

The chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved, said: We see thee but a mortal like us, and we see not that any follow thee save the most abject among us, without reflection. We behold in you no merit above us - nay, we deem you liars.
Transliteration
Faqala almalao allatheena kafaroo min qawmihi ma naraka illa basharan mithlana wama naraka ittabaAAaka illa allatheena hum arathiluna badiya alrrayi wama nara lakum AAalayna min fadlin bal nathunnukum kathibeena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে বলেছিল: ‘‘হে আমার কওম! তোমরা ভেবে দেখো, আমি যদি আমার প্রভুর প্রেরিত সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত থাকি এবং তিনি যদি তাঁর নিজ অনুগ্রহ থেকে আমাকে দান করে থাকেন আর সে বিষয়ে যদি তোমাদের অন্ধ করে দেয়া হয়ে থাকে, তবে তোমাদের অপছন্দ সত্ত্বেও কি আমি তোমাদের তা গ্রহণে বাধ্য করতে পারি?

He said: O my people! Bethink you, if I rely on a clear proof from my Lord and there hath come unto me a mercy from His presence, and it hath been made obscure to you, can we compel you to accept it when ye are averse thereto ?
Transliteration
Qala ya qawmi araaytum in kuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee waatanee rahmatan min AAindihi faAAummiyat AAalaykum anulzimukumooha waantum laha karihoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আমার কওম! এ কাজের জন্যে তো আমি তোমাদের কাছে মাল - সম্পদ চাইনা। আমার প্রতিদানের দায়িত্ব তো আল্লাহর। আমি তো মুমিনদেরকে আমার কাছ থেকে তাড়িয়ে দিতে পারিনা। তারা অবশ্যি তাদের প্রভুর সাক্ষাত লাভ করবে। বরং আমি তো দেখছি তোমরাই সবাই জাহিল লোক।

And O my people! I ask of you no wealth therefor. My reward is the concern only of Allah, and I am not going to thrust away those who believe - Lo! they have to meet their Lord! - but I see you a folk that are ignorant.
Transliteration
Waya qawmi la asalukum AAalayhi malan in ajriya illa AAala Allahi wama ana bitaridi allatheena amanoo innahum mulaqoo rabbihim walakinnee arakum qawman tajhaloona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আমার কওম! আমি যদি তাদের তাড়িয়ে দেই তবে আল্লাহর পাকড়াও থেকে কে আমাকে রক্ষা করবে? তোমরা কি অনুধাবন করার চেষ্টা করবেনা?

And, O my people! who would deliver me from Allah if I thrust them away ? Will ye not then reflect ?
Transliteration
Waya qawmi man yansurunee mina Allahi in taradtuhum afala tathakkaroona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমি তো তোমাদের বলছিনা যে, আমার কাছে আল্লাহর অর্থভান্ডার রয়েছে, কিংবা আমি জানি। কিংবা আমি তো এ কথাও বলছিনা যে, আমি একজন ফেরেশতা। তোমাদের দৃষ্টিতে যারা নিম্নশ্রেণীর তাদের ব্যাপারেও আমি একথা বলিনা যে, কখনো তাদের কল্যাণ করবেন না। তাদের অন্তরে যা আছে আল্লাহ্ই তা অধিক জানেন। তোমাদের কথা মেনে নিলে তো আমি যালিমদের মধ্যে গণ্য হয়ে যাবো।’’

I say not unto you: "I have the treasures of Allah" nor "I have knowledge of the Unseen," nor say I: "Lo! I am an angel!" Nor say I unto those whom your eyes scorn that Allah will not give them good - Allah knoweth best what is in their hearts - Lo! then indeed I should be of the wrong - doers.
তারা বলেছিল: ‘হে নূহ! তুমি তো আমাদের সাথে বিতন্ডা করেছো প্রচুর বিতন্ডা, সুতরাং তুমি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকলে আমাদেরকে তোমার প্রতিশ্রুত ঘটনাটি ঘটিয়ে দেখাও।’

They said: O Noah! Thou hast disputed with us and multiplied disputation with us; now bring upon us that wherewith thou threatenest us, if thou art of the truthful.

Qaloo ya noohu qad jadaltana faaktharta jidalana fatina bima taAAiduna in kunta mina alssadiqeena

জবাবে সে বলেছিল: ‘সেই ঘটনাটা একমাত্র আল্লাহ্ই ঘটিয়ে তোমাদের দেখাতে পারেন যদি তিনি চান এবং তোমরা তা প্রতিহত করতে পারবে না।’

He said: Only Allah will bring it upon you if He will, and ye can by no means escape.
Transliteration
Qala innama yateekum bihi Allahu in shaa wama antum bimuAAjizeena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আল্লাহ্ই যদি তোমাদের বিভ্রান্ত করতে চান তবে আমি নসিহত করতে চাইলেও আমার নসিহত তোমাদের কোনো উপকারে আসবে না। তিনিই তোমাদের প্রভু। তাঁর কাছেই তোমাদের ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে।

My counsel will not profit you if I were minded to advise you, if Allah's will is to keep you astray. He is your Lord and unto Him ye will be brought back.
Transliteration
Wala yanfaAAukum nushee in aradtu an ansaha lakum in kana Allahu yureedu an yughwiyakum huwa rabbukum wailayhi turjaAAoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নাকি তারা বলে: ‘সে নিজেই এটি রচনা করে নিয়েছে।’ তুমি বলো: ‘এটি (এ কুরআন) যদি আমি রচনা করে থাকি, তবে আমার অপরাধের জন্যে আমিই দায়ী হবো। আর তোমরা যে অপরাধ করছো তার দায় দায়িত্ব থেকে আমি মুক্ত।’

Or say they (again): He hath invented it ? Say: If I have invented it, upon me be my crimes, but I am innocent of (all) that ye commit.
Transliteration
Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul ini iftaraytuhu faAAalayya ijramee waana bareeon mimma tujrimoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নূহকে অহির মাধ্যমে জানিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছিল, তোমার কওমের যারা ঈমান এনেছে তারা ছাড়া আর কেউই ঈমান আনবে না। সুতরাং তাদের কর্মকান্ডের কারণে তুমি আর নিরাশ হয়োনা।

And it was inspired in Noah, (saying): No - one of thy folk will believe save him who hath believed already. Be not distressed because of what they do.
Transliteration
Waoohiya ila noohin annahu lan yumina min qawmika illa man qad amana fala tabtais bima kanoo yafAAaloona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমাদের তত্ত্বাবধান ও অহির ভিত্তিতে তুমি একটি নৌযান তৈরি করো এবং যারা যুলুম করেছে তাদের বিষয়ে তুমি আমার কাছে কোনো প্রকার সুপারিশ করোনা, তারা পানিতে নিমজ্জিত হবেই।

Build the ship under Our eyes and by Our inspiration, and speak not unto Me on behalf of those who do wrong. Lo! they will be drowned.
সে নৌযান তৈরি করছিল, তখন তার কওমের প্রধানরা তার ওখান দিয়ে যাওয়া আসার সময় এ নিয়ে তাকে উপহাস করতো। সে বলেছিল: তোমরা যদি আমাদের নিয়ে উপহাস করো, আমরাও তোমাদের নিয়ে উপহাস করবো যেভাবে তোমরা আমাদের নিয়ে উপহাস করছো।

And he was building the ship, and every time that chieftains of his people passed him, they made mock of him. He said: Though ye make mock of Us, yet We mock at you even as ye mock;

WayasnaAAu alfulka wakullama marra AAalayhi malaon min qawmihi sakhiroo minhu qala in taskharoo minna fainna naskharu minkum kama taskharoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অচিরেই তোমরা জানতে পারবে, কাদের উপর এসে পড়বে অপমানকর আযাব এবং কাদের উপর হালাল হয়ে যাবে স্থায়ী আযাব।
Pickthall
And ye shall know to whom a punishment that will confound him cometh, and upon whom a lasting doom will fall.
Transliteration
Fasawfa taAAlamoona man yateehi AAathabun yukhzeehi wayahillu AAalayhi AAathabun muqeemun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অবশেষে এসে পড়ে আমাদের নির্দেশ এবং চুলা থেকে উথলে উঠতে থাকে পানির স্রোত। আমরা বললাম, তাতে উঠিয়ে নাও সব শ্রেণীর যুগলের দুইটি করে আর তোমার পরিবার পরিজনকে আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে, তবে তাদেরকে নয় যাদের ব্যাপারে আগেই সিদ্ধান্ত হয়ে গেছে। আর তার (নূহের) সাথে ঈমান এনেছিল মাত্র কয়েকজনই।

(Thus it was) till, when Our commandment came to pass and the oven gushed forth water, We said: Load therein two of every kind, a pair (the male and female), and thy household, save him against whom the word hath gone forth already, and those who believe. And but a few were they who believed with him.
Transliteration
Hatta itha jaa amruna wafara alttannooru qulna ihmil feeha min kullin zawjayni ithnayni waahlaka illa man sabaqa AAalayhi alqawlu waman amana wamaamana maAAahu illa qaleelun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে বলেছিল: ‘তোমরা এতে আরোহণ করো। আল্লাহর নামে (আরম্ভ করছি) এর চলতি এবং এর স্থিতি। আমার প্রভু অবশ্যি পরম ক্ষমাশীল দয়াময়।’

And he said: Embark therein! In the name of Allah be its course and its mooring. Lo! my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.
নৌযানটি তাদের নিয়ে চলছিল তরঙ্গের মধ্যে পর্বতের মতো। আর নূহ তার ছেলেকে ডেকে বলেছিল, যে (নৌযানে আরোহন না করে) পৃথক ছিলো: ‘হে আমার পুত্র! আমাদের সাথে আরোহণ করো, কাফিরদের সাথি হয়ে থেকে যেয়োনা।’

And it sailed with them amid waves like mountains, and Noah cried unto his son - and he was standing aloof - O my son! Come ride with us, and be not with the disbelievers.
কিন্তু সে বলেছিল: ‘আমি (উঁচু) পর্বতে আশ্রয় নিচ্ছি, যা আমাকে পানি (প্লাবন) থেকে রক্ষা করবে।’ সে (নূহ) বললো: ‘আজ আল্লাহর ফায়সালা থেকে রক্ষা করার কেউ নেই, তবে তিনি যাকে দয়া করেন সে ছাড়া। (বলতে বলতে) তরঙ্গ তাদের মাঝখানে ঢুকে গেলো এবং সে ডুবে যাওয়াদের অন্তরভুক্ত হয়ে গেলো।

He said: I shall betake me to some mountain that will save me from the water. (Noah) said: This day there is none that saveth from the commandment of Allah save him on whom He hath had mercy. And the wave came in between them, so he was among the drowned.
Transliteration
Qala saawee ila jabalin yaAAsimunee mina almai qala la AAasima alyawma min amri Allahi illa man rahima wahala baynahuma almawju fakana mina almughraqeena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অবশেষে বলা হলো: ‘হে পৃথিবী, তুমি তোমার পানি গ্রাস করে নাও! হে আকাশ, তুমি বর্ষণ বন্ধ করো।’ অত:পর প্লাবন শেষ হলো এবং ফায়সালা পূর্ণ হলো এবং নৌযানটি জুদি পাহাড়ের উপর এসে স্থির হলো। আর বলা হলো: ‘নিপাত গেলো যালিম সম্প্রদায়।’

And it was said: O earth! Swallow thy water and, O sky! be cleared of clouds! And the water was made to subside. And the commandment was fulfilled. And it (the ship) came to rest upon (the mount) Al - Judi and it was said: A far removal for wrongdoing folk!
তিনি বলেছিলেন: ‘হে নূহ! সে তোমার পরিবারের সদস্য নয়। সে তো এক অসৎকর্ম। ফলে এমন বিষয়ে আমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করোনা, যে বিষয়ে তোমার জ্ঞান নেই। আমি তোমাকে উপদেশ দিচ্ছি তুমি যেনো জাহিলদের মতো কথা না বলো।’

He said: O Noah! Lo! he is not of thy household; lo! he is of evil conduct, so ask not of Me that whereof thou hast no knowledge. I admonish thee lest thou be among the ignorant.
Transliteration
Qala ya noohu innahu laysa min ahlika innahu AAamalun ghayru salihin fala tasalni ma laysa laka bihi AAilmun innee aAAithuka an takoona mina aljahileena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তখন সে বললো: ‘আমার প্রভু! যে বিষয়ে আমার জ্ঞান নেই সে বিষয়ে যেনো তোমার কাছে প্রার্থনা না করি সে জন্যে তোমার আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। তুমি যদি আমাকে ক্ষমা না করো এবং আমার প্রতি রহম না করো, তবে তো আমি ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তরভুক্ত হয়ে পড়বো।’

He said: My Lord! Lo! in Thee do I seek refuge (from the sin) that I should ask of Thee that whereof I have no knowledge. Unless Thou forgive me and have mercy on me I shall be among the lost.
Transliteration
Qala rabbi innee aAAoothu bika an asalaka ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun wailla taghfir lee watarhamnee akun mina alkhasireena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
বলা হয়েছিল: ‘হে নূহ! (নৌযান থেকে) নেমে পড়ো। আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে সালাম ও বরকত তোমার প্রতি এবং যেসব প্রজাতি তোমার সাথে রয়েছে তাদের প্রতি। আর অন্যান্য জাতিসমূহকে আমরা কিছুকাল জীবন উপভোগ করতে দেবো, তারপর আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব তাদেরকেও স্পর্শ করবে।’

It was said (unto him): O Noah! Go thou down (from the mountain) with peace from Us and blessings upon thee and some nations (that will spring) from those with thee. (There will be other) nations unto whom We shall give enjoyment a long while and then a painful doom from Us will overtake them.
Transliteration
Qeela ya noohu ihbit bisalamin minna wabarakatin AAalayka waAAala omamin mimman maAAaka waomamun sanumattiAAuhum thumma yamassuhum minna AAathabun aleemun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এগুলো গায়েবের সংবাদ তোমার প্রতি আমরা অহি করছি। তুমি কিংবা তোমার কওম ইতোপূর্বে এ বিষয়গুলো জানতে না। অতএব সবর অবলম্বন করো, পরিণামে সাফল্য মুত্তাকিদেরই জন্যে।

This is of the tidings of the Unseen which We inspire in thee (Muhammad). Thou thyself knewest it not, nor did thy folk (know it) before this. Then have patience. Lo! the sequel is for those who ward off (evil).
Transliteration
Tilka min anbai alghaybi nooheeha ilayka ma kunta taAAlamuha anta wala qawmuka min qabli hatha faisbir inna alAAaqibata lilmuttaqeena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর আমরা আদ জাতির কাছে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তাদেরই ভাই হুদকে। সে তাদের বলেছিল: ‘‘হে আমার কওম! তোমরা এক আল্লাহর দাসত্ব করো, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের আর কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই। তবে তোমরা তো কেবল মিথ্যা রচনাকারী।

And unto (the tribe of) A'ad (We sent) their brother, Hud. He said: O my people! Serve Allah! Ye have no other God save Him. Lo! ye do but invent.
Transliteration
Waila AAadin akhahum hoodan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu in antum illa muftaroona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আমার কওম! আমি তো এ কাজের জন্যে তোমাদের কাছে কোনো প্রকার পারিশ্রমিক চাইনা। আমার প্রতিদানের দায়িত্ব তাঁর, যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তবু কি তোমরা বুঝার চেষ্টা করবেনা?

O my people! I ask of you no reward for it. Lo! my reward is the concern only of Him Who made me. Have ye then no sense ?
Transliteration
Ya qawmi la asalukum AAalayhi ajran in ajriya illa AAala allathee fataranee afala taAAqiloona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আমার কওম! তোমরা ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করো তোমাদের প্রভুর কাছে, অত:পর ফিরে আসো তাঁর দিকে। তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে আকাশ থেকে প্রচুর পানি বর্ষণ করবেন এবং বর্তমান শক্তির সাথে আরো শক্তি বাড়িয়ে দেবেন। তোমরা অপরাধী হয়ে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়োনা।’’

And, O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn unto Him repentant; He will cause the sky to rain abundance on you and will add unto you strength to your strength. Turn not away, guilty!
তারা বলেছিল: ‘‘হে হুদ! তুমি তো আমাদের কাছে কোনো স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ নিয়ে আসোনি। আমরা তো তোমার কথায় আমাদের ইলাহদের (দেব দেবীদের) পরিত্যাগ করতে পারিনা। তাছাড়া আমরা তোমার প্রতি বিশ্বাসীও নই।

They said: O Hud! Thou hast brought us no clear proof and we are not going to forsake our gods on thy (mere) saying, and we are not believers in thee.
Transliteration
Qaloo ya hoodu ma jitana bibayyinatin wama nahnu bitarikee alihatina AAan qawlika wama nahnu laka bimumineena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা বলছি, তোমাদের উপর আমাদের দেব - দেবীদের অভিশাপ পড়েছে।’’ সে বলেছিল: ‘‘আমি আল্লাহকে সাক্ষী বানাচ্ছি এবং তোমরাও সাক্ষী থাকো, তোমরা যাদেরকে আল্লাহর সাথে শরিক করছো আমি তাদের সাথে সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করছি।

We say naught save that one of our gods hath possessed thee in an evil way. He said: I call Allah to witness, and do ye (too) bear witness, that I am innocent of (all) that ye ascribe as partners (to Allah)
Transliteration
In naqoolu illa iAAtaraka baAAdu alihatina bisooin qala innee oshhidu Allaha waishhadoo annee bareeon mimma tushrikoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ছাড়া তোমরা সবাই মিলে আমার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র করো, তারপর আমাকে কোনো অবকাশ দিও না।

Beside Him. So (try to) circumvent me, all of you, give me no respite.
Transliteration
Min doonihi fakeedoonee jameeAAan thumma la tunthirooni
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমি তো তাওয়াক্কুল করেছি আল্লাহর উপর যিনি আমার প্রভু এবং তোমাদেরও প্রভু। এমন কোনো জীব নেই, যে তাঁর পূর্ণ নিয়ন্ত্রণে নেই। নিশ্চয়ই আমার প্রভু সঠিক সরল পথের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত।

Lo! I have put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Not an animal but He doth grasp it by the forelock! Lo! my Lord is on a straight path.
Transliteration
Innee tawakkaltu AAala Allahi rabbee warabbikum ma min dabbatin illa huwa akhithun binasiyatiha inna rabbee AAalasiratin mustaqeemin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর তোমরা যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে জেনে রাখো, আমি তোমাদের কাছে যে বার্তা নিয়ে প্রেরিত হয়েছি, তা তোমাদের কাছে পৌঁছে দিয়েছি। আমার প্রভু তোমাদের পরিবর্তে ভিন্ন কোনো কওমকে তোমাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করবেন এবং তোমরা তাঁর কোনোই ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। আমার প্রভু সব কিছুর রক্ষক।’’

And if ye turn away, still I have conveyed unto you that wherewith I was sent unto you, and my Lord will set in place of you a folk other than you. Ye cannot injure Him at all. Lo! my Lord is Guardian over all things.
তারপর যখন আমাদের নির্দেশ এসে পৌঁছে, আমরা হুদকে এবং তার সাথে যারা ঈমান এনেছিল তাদেরকে আমাদের দয়ায় নাজাত দিয়েছিলাম এবং তাদের রক্ষা করেছিলাম কঠিন আযাব থেকে।

And when Our commandment came to pass We saved Hud and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us; We saved them from a harsh doom.
Transliteration
Walamma jaa amruna najjayna hoodan waallatheena amanoo maAAahu birahmatin minna wanajjaynahum min AAathabin ghaleethin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা ছিলো আদ জাতি, তারা তাদের প্রভুর আয়াত অস্বীকার করেছিল এবং তাঁর রসূলদের অমান্য করেছিল এবং প্রত্যেক অহংকারী স্বৈরাচারীর অনুসরণ করেছিল।

And such were A'ad. They denied the revelations of their Lord and flouted His messengers and followed the command of every froward potentate.
দুনিয়ার জীবনে তাদের অভিশাপগ্রস্ত করা হয়েছিল এবং কিয়ামতের দিনও হবে তারা অভিশাপগ্রস্ত। সাবধান, আদ জাতি তাদের প্রভুকে অস্বীকার করেছিল। সাবধান, নিপাত গিয়েছিল আদ জাতি, যারা ছিলো হুদের কওম।

And a curse was made to follow them in the world and on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! A'ad disbelieved in their Lord. A far removal for A'ad, the folk of Hud!
Transliteration
WaotbiAAoo fee hathihi alddunya laAAnatan wayawma alqiyamati ala inna AAadan kafaroo rabbahum ala buAAdan liAAadin qawmi hoodin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর আমরা সামুদ জাতির কাছে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তাদেরই ভাই সালেহকে। সে তাদের বলেছিল: ‘হে আমার কওম! তোমরা এক আল্লাহর দাসত্ব ও আনুগত্য করো, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের আর কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই। তিনি তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন জমিন থেকে এবং তাতেই তোমাদের তামির (প্রতিষ্ঠিত) করেছেন। অতএব, তোমরা তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করো এবং তাঁরই দিকে ফিরো আসো। অবশ্যি আমার প্রভু অতি কাছে এবং ডাকে সাড়া দানকারী।’

And unto (the tribe of) Thamud (We sent) their brother Salih. He said: O my people! Serve Allah, Ye have no other God save Him. He brought you forth from the earth and hath made you husband it. So ask forgiveness of Him and turn unto Him repentant. Lo! my Lord is Nigh, Responsive.
Transliteration
Waila thamooda akhahum salihan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu huwa anshaakum mina alardi waistaAAmarakum feeha faistaghfiroohu thumma tooboo ilayhi inna rabbee qareebun mujeebun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা বলেছিল: ‘হে সালেহ্! ইতোপূর্বে তুমি ছিলে আমাদের আশা - ভরসার স্থল। আর এখন কি তুমি আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা যাদের ইবাদত করতো তাদের ইবাদত করতে আমাদের নিষেধ করছো? তুমি আমাদের যেদিকে ডাকছো সে বিষয়ে অবশ্যি আমরা বিভ্রান্তিকর সন্দেহের মধ্যে রয়েছি।

They said: O Salih! Thou hast been among us hitherto as that wherein our hope was placed. Dost thou ask us not to worship what our fathers worshipped ? Lo! we verily are in grave doubt concerning that to which thou callest us.
Transliteration
Qaloo yasalihu qad kunta feena marjuwwan qabla hatha atanhana an naAAbuda ma yaAAbudu abaona wainnana lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoona ilayhi mureebun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে বলেছিল: ‘‘হে আমার কওম! তোমাদের মতামত কী, আমি যদি আমার প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে প্রাপ্ত সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত থাকি এবং তিনি যদি তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে আমাকে কোনো অনুগ্রহ দান করেন, তখন আমাকে কে রক্ষা করবে যদি আমি তাঁর অবাধ্য হই? তোমরা আমার ক্ষতি ছাড়া আর কিছুই বাড়াতে পারবে না।

He said: O my people! Bethink you: if I am (acting) on clear proof from my Lord and there hath come unto me a mercy from Him, who will save me from Allah if I disobey Him ? Ye would add to me naught save perdition.
Transliteration
Qala ya qawmi araaytum in kuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee waatanee minhu rahmatan faman yansurunee mina Allahi in AAasaytuhu fama tazeedoonanee ghayra takhseerin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আমার কওম! এটি আল্লাহর উটনী তোমাদের জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন। তোমরা এটিকে আল্লাহর জমিনে চরে খেতে দাও। তোমরা এটিকে মন্দ (উদ্দেশ্যে) স্পর্শ করোনা, করলে তোমাদের উপর আপতিত হবে আশু আযাব।

O my people! This is the camel of Allah, a token unto you, so suffer her to feed in Allah's earth, and touch her not with harm lest a near torment seize you.
অত:পর যখন আমাদের নির্দেশ এসে পৌঁছালো আমরা আমাদের অনুগ্রহে সালেহ্ এবং তার সাথে যারা ঈমান এনেছিল তাদের রক্ষা করলাম সেদিনের চরম লাঞ্ছনা থেকে। নিশ্চয়ই তোমার প্রভু মহাশক্তিধর পরাক্রমশালী।

So, when Our commandment came to pass, We saved Salih, and those who believed with him, by a mercy from Us, from the ignominy of that day. Lo, thy Lord! He is the Strong, the Mighty.
Transliteration
Falamma jaa amruna najjaynasalihan waallatheena amanoo maAAahu birahmatin minna wamin khizyi yawmiithin inna rabbaka huwa alqawiyyu alAAazeezu
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যারা যুলুম করেছিল তাদের পাকড়াও করলো এক বিকট শব্দ। ফলে তারা তাদের ঘরে ঘরে উপুড় হয়ে পড়েছিল।

And the (awful) Cry overtook those who did wrong, so that morning found them prostrate in their dwellings,
অবস্থা এমন হয়েছিল যেনো তারা কখনো সেখানে বসবাসই করেনি। সাবধান, সামুদ জাতি তাদের প্রভুকে অস্বীকার করেছিল। সাবধান, সামুদ জাতি সমূলে নিপাত হয়ে গিয়েছিল।

As though they had not dwelt there. Lo! Thamud disbelieved in their Lord. A far removal for Thamud!
Transliteration
Kaan lam yaghnaw feeha ala inna thamooda kafaroo rabbahum ala buAAdan lithamooda
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমাদের দূত (ফেরেশতারা) সুসংবাদ নিয়ে এসেছিল ইবরাহিমের কাছে। এসে তারা বলেছিল: ‘সালাম!’ সেও বলেছিল: ‘সালাম।’ অত:পর সে দেরি না করে ভুনা করা গো - নিয়ে এলো (তাদের মেহমানদারির জন্যে)।

And Our messengers cam unto Abraham with good news. They said: Peace! He answered: Peace! and delayed not to bring a roasted calf.
Transliteration
Walaqad jaat rusuluna ibraheema bialbushra qaloo salaman qala salamun fama labitha an jaa biAAijlin haneethin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে যখন দেখলো, তারা সে (খাবারের) দিকে হাত বাড়াচ্ছে না, তখন সে তাদের আগমনকে অশুভ মনে করলো এবং তাদের ব্যাপারে তার মনে ভয় ঢুকলো। তারা বললো: ‘আপনি ভয় পাবেননা, আমরা তো লুতের কওমের কাছে প্রেরিত হয়েছি।’

And when he saw their hands reached not to it, he mistrusted them and conceived a fear of them. They said: Fear not! Lo! we are sent unto the folk of Lot.
Transliteration
Falamma raa aydiyahum la tasilu ilayhi nakirahum waawjasa minhum kheefatan qaloo la takhaf inna orsilna ila qawmi lootin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তার স্ত্রী দাঁড়ানো ছিলো, সে (তার স্ত্রী) হেসে ফেললো। তখন আমরা তাকে সুসংবাদ দিলাম (পুত্র) ইসহাকের এবং ইসহাকের পরে (নাতি) ইয়াকুবের।

And his wife, standing by laughed when We gave her good tidings (of the birth) of Isaac, and, after Isaac, of Jacob.
তারা বললো: ‘আপনি কি আল্লাহর সিদ্ধান্তের ব্যাপারে বিস্ময়বোধ করছেন? হে আহলে বাইত (হে ঘরবাসী)! এটা তো আপনাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর রহমত এবং বরকত। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সপ্রশংসিত ও সম্মানিত।’

They said: Wonderest thou at the commandment of Allah ? The mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, O people of the house! Lo! He is Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory!
নিশ্চয়ই ইবরাহিম ছিলো এক সহনশীল, কোমল হৃদয় এবং আল্লাহমুখী মানুষ।

Lo! Abraham was mild, imploring, penitent.
Transliteration
Inna ibraheema lahaleemun awwahun muneebun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে ইবরাহিম! এ (বিতর্ক) থেকে বিরত হও, (তাদের প্রতি তো) তোমার প্রভুর নির্দেশ এসে গেছে। তাদের উপর এক অপ্রতিরোধ্য আযাব এসে যাচ্ছে।

(It was said) O Abraham! Forsake this! Lo! thy Lord's commandment hath gone forth, and lo! there cometh unto them a doom which cannot be repelled.
Transliteration
Ya ibraheemu aAArid AAan hatha innahu qad jaa amru rabbika wainnahum ateehim AAathabun ghayru mardoodin

অত:পর আমাদের দূত (ফেরেশতারা) যখন লুতের কাছে এলো, তাদের আগমনে সে বিষন্ন হয়ে পড়লো এবং তাদের (তার জাতিকে) রক্ষায় নিজেকে অক্ষম মনে করলো, আর বললো: ‘এ তো এক শোকাবহ দিন।’

And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was distressed and knew not how to protect them. He said: This is a distressful day.
তখন তার কওম তার দিকে উদ্ভ্রান্তের মতো ছুটে এলো এবং আগে থেকে তারা কুকাজে অভ্যস্ত ছিলো। সে বললো: ‘হে আমার কওম! এই যে আমার (কওমের) কন্যারা রয়েছে, তোমাদের জন্যে এরাই পবিত্র (তোমরা তাদের বিয়ে করে নাও)। আল্লাহকে ভয় করো এবং আমার মেহমানদের ব্যাপারে আমাকে অপমানিত করোনা। তোমাদের মধ্যে কি একজন ভালো মানুষও নেই?’

And his people came unto him, running towards him - and before then they used to commit abominations - He said: O my people! Here are my daughters! They are purer for you. Beware of Allah, and degrade me not in (the person of) my guests. Is there not among you any upright man ?
Transliteration
Wajaahu qawmuhu yuhraAAoona ilayhi wamin qablu kanoo yaAAmaloona alssayyiati qala ya qawmi haolai banatee hunna atharu lakum faittaqoo Allaha wala tukhzooni fee dayfee alaysa minkum rajulun rasheedun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা বললো: ‘তুমি তো জানো, তোমার কন্যাদের আমাদের কোনো প্রয়োজন নেই। আমরা কী চাই তুমি তো তা ভালো করেই জানো।’

They said: Well thou knowest that we have no right to thy daughters, and well thou knowest what we want.
Transliteration
Qaloo laqad AAalimta ma lana fee banatika min haqqin wainnaka lataAAlamu ma nureedu
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে বললো: ‘তোমাদের উপর যদি আমার শক্তি থাকতো অথবা আমি যদি আশ্রয় পেতাম কোনো সুদৃঢ় স্তম্ভের!’

He said: Would that I had strength to resist you or had some strong support (among you)!
Transliteration
Qala law anna lee bikum quwwatan aw awee ila ruknin shadeedin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা বললো: হে লুত! আমরা তো আপনার প্রভুর দূত। ওরা কখনো তোমার কাছে পৌঁছাতে পারবে না। আপনি রাতের কোনো এক সময় আপনার পরিবার পরিজন নিয়ে বের হয়ে পড়ুন এবং আপনাদের কেউই যেনো পেছনে না তাকায়। তবে আপনার স্ত্রীকে সাথে নেবেন না। তাদের যা ঘটবে তারও তাই ঘটবে। প্রভাতই তাদের নির্ধারিত সময়। প্রভাত কি ঘনিয়ে আসেনি?

(The messengers) said: O Lot! Lo! we are messengers of thy Lord; they shall not reach thee. So travel with thy people in a part of the night, and let not one of you turn round - (all) save thy wife. Lo! that which smiteth them will smite her (also). Lo! their tryst is (for) the morning. Is not the morning nigh ?
Transliteration
Qaloo ya lootu inna rusulu rabbika lan yasiloo ilayka faasri biahlika biqitAAin mina allayli wala yaltafit minkum ahadun illa imraataka innahu museebuha ma asabahum inna mawAAidahumu alssubhu alaysa alssubhu biqareebin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারপর যখন আমাদের নির্দেশ এসে পৌছে, তখন আমরা সেই জনপদকে উল্টে দিয়েছি এবং তার উপর অনবরত বর্ষণ করেছি পাথর কঙ্কর।

So when Our commandment came to pass We overthrew (that township) and rained upon it stones of clay, one after another,
তোমার প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে সেগুলো ছিলো (তাদের) নাম লেখা কঙ্কর। সেই জনপদ (তোমার প্রতিপক্ষ) এই যালিমদের থেকে দূরে নয়।

Marked with fire in the providence of thy Lord (for the destruction of the wicked). And they are never far from the wrong - doers.
Transliteration
Musawwamatan AAinda rabbika wama hiya mina alththalimeena bibaAAeedin

আর আমরা মাদায়ানে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তাদেরই ভাই শুয়াইবকে। সে তাদের বলেছিল: ‘‘হে আমার কওম! তোমরা এক আল্লাহর ইবাদত করো, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের আর কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই। তোমরা মাপে এবং ওজনে কম করোনা। আমি তো তোমাদের স্বচ্ছল দেখছি। আমি তোমাদের উপর আশংকা করছি এক সর্বগ্রাসী দিনের আযাবের।

And unto Midian (We sent) their brother Shu'eyb. He said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other God save Him! And give not short measure and short weight. Lo! I see you well - to - do, and lo! I fear for you the doom of a besetting Day.
Transliteration
Waila madyana akhahum shuAAayban qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu wala tanqusoo almikyala waalmeezana innee arakum bikhayrin wainnee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin muheetin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আমার কওম! ইনসাফের সাথে পূর্ণ করে দাও মাপ এবং ওজন। মানুষকে তাদের প্রাপ্য সামগ্রী কম দিও না এবং দেশে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করে বেড়িয়োনা।

O my people! Give full measure and full weight in justice, and wrong not people in respect of their goods. And do not evil in the earth, causing corruption.
আল্লাহর অনুমোদিত বাকিটাই (লাভটাই) তোমাদের জন্যে উত্তম যদি তুমি হও। আমি তোমাদের উপর পাহারাদার নই।’’

That which Allah leaveth with you is better for you if ye are believers; and I am not a keeper over you.
Transliteration
Baqiyyatu Allahi khayrun lakum in kuntum mumineena wama ana AAalaykum bihafeethin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তখন তারা বলেছিল: ‘হে শুয়াইব! তোমার কি তোমাকে এই নির্দেশ দেয় যে, আমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষরা যে সবের ইবাদত করতো আমরা যেনো সেগুলোকে ত্যাগ করি? কিংবা আমাদের ধন - সম্পদ নিয়ে আমরা যা ইচ্ছে তাই করি? শুধু তুমি রয়ে গেলে একজন উঁচু মনের ধৈর্যশীল সৎ মানুষ।’

They said: O Shu'eyb! Doth thy way of prayer command thee that we should forsake that which our fathers (used to) worship, or that we (should leave off) doing what we will with our own property. Lo! thou art the mild, the guide to right behaviour.
Transliteration
Qaloo ya shuAAaybu asalatuka tamuruka an natruka ma yaAAbudu abaona aw an nafAAala fee amwalina ma nashao innaka laanta alhaleemu alrrasheedu
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তখন সে বলেছিল: ‘‘হে আমার কওম! তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছো, আমি যদি আমার প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে এক সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত থাকি এবং তিনি যদি তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে আমাকে উত্তম জীবিকা দান করেন (তবে আমি কী করে তাঁর অবাধ্য হই?)। আমি চাইনা, তোমাদেরকে আমি যা নিষেধ করছি, আমি নিজেই তার বিপরীত আচরণ করি। আমি তো আমার সাধ্যমতো সংশোধন করতে চাই। আমি তো ততোটাই করি যতোটা আমাকে তৌফিক দেন। তাঁরই উপর আমি তাওয়াক্কুল করেছি এবং আমি তাঁরই অভিমুখী।

He said: O my people! Bethink you: if I am (acting) on a clear proof from my Lord and He sustaineth me with fair sustenance from Him (how can I concede aught to you) ? I desire not to do behind your backs that which I ask you not to do. I desire naught save reform so far as I am able. My welfare is only in Allah. In Him I trust and unto Him I turn (repentant).
Transliteration
Qala ya qawmi araaytum in kuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee warazaqanee minhu rizqan hasanan wama oreedu an okhalifakum ila ma anhakum AAanhu in oreedu illa alislaha ma istataAAtu wama tawfeeqee illa biAllahi AAalayhi tawakkaltu wailayhi oneebu

হে আমার কওম! আমার বিরুদ্ধাচরণ যেনো তোমাদেরকে এমন অপরাধে লিপ্ত না করে, যার ফলে তোমাদের উপর সে রকম বিপদ এসে পড়ে, যে রকম আপদ আপতিত হয়েছিল নূহের কওম, হুদের কওম, কিংবা সালেহর কওমের উপর। আর লুতের কওমের ঘটনা তো তোমাদের থেকে বেশি দূরের নয়।

And, O my people! Let not the schism with me cause you to sin so that there befall you that which befell the folk of Noah and the folk of Hud, and the folk of Salih; and the folk of Lot are not far off from you.
Transliteration
Waya qawmi la yajrimannakum shiqaqee an yuseebakum mithlu ma asaba qawma noohin aw qawma hoodin aw qawma salihin wama qawmu lootin minkum bibaAAeedin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা তোমাদের প্রভুর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করো, তারপর তাঁরই দিকে ফিরে আসো। নিশ্চয়ই আমার প্রভু পরম দয়াবান, বন্ধুসুলভ।’’

Ask pardon of your Lord and then turn unto Him (repentant). Lo! my Lord is Merciful, Loving.
তখন তারা বলেছিল: ‘হে শুয়াইব! তুমি যা বলছো তার অনেক কথাই আমরা বুঝতে পারছিনা। আমাদের মাঝে তো আমরা তোমাকে দুর্বল দেখতে পাচ্ছি। আমাদের সাথে আত্মীয়তার সম্পর্ক না থাকলে আমরা তোমাকে পাথর মেরে হত্যাই করতাম আর আমাদের উপর তুমি শক্তিমান নও।’

They said: O Shu'eyb! We understand not much of that thou tellest, and lo! we do behold thee weak among us. But for thy family, we should have stoned thee, for thou art not strong against us.
Transliteration
Qaloo ya shuAAaybu ma nafqahu katheeran mimma taqoolu wainna lanaraka feenadaAAeefan walawla rahtuka larajamnaka wama anta AAalayna biAAazeezin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে বলেছিল: ‘‘হে আমার কওম! তোমাদের সাথে আমার আত্মীয়তার সম্পর্কটা কি আল্লাহর চাইতেও তোমাদের উপর বেশি শক্তিশালী? অথচ তোমরা তাঁকেই সম্পূর্ণ পেছনে ফেলে রেখেছো। জেনে রাখো, তোমরা যা করছো আমার প্রভু তা পরিবেষ্টন করে রেখেছেন।’

He said: O my people! Is my family more to be honoured by you than Allah ? and ye put Him behind you, neglected! Lo! my Lord surroundeth what ye do.
Transliteration
Qala ya qawmi arahtee aAAazzu AAalaykum mina Allahi waittakhathtumoohu waraakum thihriyyan inna rabbee bima taAAmaloona muheetun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আমার কওম! তোমরা নিজ নিজ অবস্থানে থেকে নিজেদের কর্মকান্ড করতে থাকো, আমিও আমার কাজ করে যাবো। অচিরেই তোমরা জানতে পারবে, কার উপর এসে পড়ে অপমানকর আযাব এবং কে মিথ্যাবাদী? তোমরা অপেক্ষা করো, আমিও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষায় থাকলাম।’’

And, O my people! Act according to your power, lo! I (too) am acting. Ye will soon know on whom there cometh a doom that will abase him, and who it is that lieth. And watch! Lo! I am a watcher with you.
Transliteration
Waya qawmi iAAmaloo AAala makanatikum innee AAamilun sawfa taAAlamoona man yateehi AAathabun yukhzeehi waman huwa kathibun wairtaqiboo inne maAAakum raqeebun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অত:পর যখন আমাদের নির্দেশ এসে পড়েছিল, আমরা আমাদের রহমতে নাজাত দিয়েছিলাম শুয়াইবকে এবং যারা তার সাথে ঈমান এনেছিল তাদেরকে। আর মহা বিকট শব্দ পাকড়াও করে নিয়েছিল যালিমদেরকে। ফলে তারা তাদের ঘরে ঘরে উপুড় হয়ে পড়েছিল।

And when Our commandment came to pass We saved Shu'eyb and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us; and the (Awful) Cry seized those who did injustice, and morning found them prostrate in their dwellings,
ফেরাউন ও তার পারিষদবর্গের কাছে। কিন্তু তারা ফেরাউনের নির্দেশের অনুসরণ করে, অথচ ফেরাউনের নির্দেশ ন্যায্য ছিলনা।

Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they did follow the command of Pharaoh, and the command of Pharaoh was no right guide.
Transliteration
Ila firAAawna wamalaihi faittabaAAoo amra firAAawna wama amru firAAawna birasheedin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কিয়ামতের দিন সে তার (অনুগামী) কওমের সামনে সামনেই থাকবে এবং তাদের নিয়ে প্রবেশ করবে জাহান্নামে। যেখানে তাদের প্রবেশ করানো হবে তা কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট জায়গা!

He will go before his people on the Day of Resurrection and will lead them to the Fire for watering - place. Ah, hapless is the watering - place (whither they are) led.
এই দুনিয়ায় এবং কিয়ামতের দিনেও তাদেরকে লানতের অনুগামী করা হয়েছে। তাদেরকে যে পুরস্কার দেয়া হবে, তা কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট পুরস্কার!

A curse is made to follow them in the world and on the Day of Resurrection. Hapless is the gift (that will be) given (them).
Transliteration
WaotbiAAoo fee hathihi laAAnatan wayawma alqiyamati bisa alrrifdu almarfoodu
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এ হলো জনপদসমূহের সংবাদ যা আমরা তোমার কাছে বর্ণনা করছি। সেগুলোর মধ্যে কিছু (জনপদের চিহ্ন) এখনো বিদ্যমান আছে, আর কিছু হয়ে গেছে বিলীন।

That is (something) of the tidings of the townships (which were destroyed of old). We relate it unto thee (Muhammad). Some of them are standing and some (already) reaped.
Transliteration
Thalika min anbai alqura naqussuhu AAalayka minha qaimun wahaseedun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তাদের প্রতি যুলুম করিনি, বরং তারাই নিজেদের প্রতি যুলুম করেছিল। তাদের উপর যখন আমাদের শাস্তির ফায়সালা এসেছিল, তখন তারা আল্লাহকে ছাড়া যাদের ডাকতো সেই সব ইলাহরা তাদের কিছুমাত্র কাজে আসেনি। তারা তাদের ধ্বংস ছাড়া আর কিছুই বাড়ায়নি।

We wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves; and their gods on whom they call beside Allah availed them naught when came thy Lord's command; they added to them naught save ruin.
Transliteration
Wamathalamnahum walakin thalamoo anfusahum fama aghnat AAanhum alihatuhumu allatee yadAAoona min dooni Allahi min shayin lamma jaa amru rabbika wama zadoohum ghayra tatbeebin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কোনো জনপদ যখন যুলুম করতে থাকে, তখন তোমার প্রভু তাদেরকে এভাবেই শাস্তি দিয়ে থাকেন। তাঁর শাস্তি বড়ই কঠিন বেদনাদায়ক।

Even thus is the grasp of thy Lord when He graspeth the townships while they are doing wrong. Lo! His grasp is painful, very strong.
এর মধ্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন তাদের জন্যে, যারা আখিরাতের আযাবকে ভয় পায়। সেদিন সব মানুষকে জমা করা হবে এবং সেটাই হবে উপস্থিতির দিন।

Lo! herein verily there is a portent for those who fear the doom of the Hereafter. That is a day unto which mankind will be gathered, and that is a day that will be witnessed.
সেখানেই স্থায়ীভাবে পড়ে থাকবে তারা যতোদিন মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবী বিদ্যমান থাকবে, যদি না তোমার প্রভু অন্য কিছু চান। নিশ্চয়ই তোমার প্রভু যা চান তাই করেন।

Abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth. Lo! thy Lord is Doer of what He will.
Transliteration
Khalideena feeha ma damati alssamawatu waalardu illa ma shaa rabbuka inna rabbaka faAAAAalun lima yureedu
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যারা হবে ভাগ্যবান, তারা থাকবে জান্নাতে। চিরকাল তারা সেখানে (উপভোগ করতে) থাকবে, যতোদিন বিদ্যমান থাকবে মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবী, যদি না তোমার প্রভু ভিন্ন কিছু চান। এ এক অনন্ত অবিরাম পুরস্কার।

And as for those who will be glad (that day) they will be in the Garden, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth: a gift unfailing.
Transliteration
Waamma allatheena suAAidoo fafee aljannati khalideena feeha ma damati alssamawatu waalardu illa ma shaa rabbuka AAataan ghayra majthoothin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সুতরাং তারা যে সবের ইবাদত করে সেগুলোর ভ্রান্ত বাতিল হবার ব্যাপারে তুমি মোটেও সংশয়ে থেকোনা। আগে তাদের বাপ - দাদারা যাদের ইবাদত করতো তারাও তাদেরই ইবাদত করে। আমরা অবশ্যি তাদের প্রাপ্য অংশ কিছুমাত্র কম না করে পুরোপুরি দেবো।

So be not thou in doubt concerning that which these (folk) worship. They worship only as their fathers worshipped aforetime. Lo! we shall pay them their whole due unabated.
Transliteration
Fala taku fee miryatin mimma yaAAbudu haolai ma yaAAbudoona illa kama yaAAbudu abaohum min qablu wainna lamuwaffoohum naseebahum ghayra manqoosin
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা মূসাকেও কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম এবং তা নিয়েও মতভেদ করা হয়েছিল। তোমার প্রভুর পূর্ব ফায়সালা না থাকলে তাদের মাঝেও মীমাংসা হয়ে যেতো। তারা অবশ্যি এ (কিতাব) নিয়ে ভ্রান্তিকর সংশয়ের মধ্যে ছিলো।

And we verily gave unto Moses the Scripture, and there was strife thereupon; and had it not been for a Word that had already gone forth from thy Lord, the case would have been judged between them, and lo! they are in grave doubt concerning it.
সুতরাং তোমাকে যে রকম নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছে তার উপর কায়েম থাকো তুমি এবং তোমার সাথে যারা ঈমান এনেছে তারা, আর সীমালংঘন করোনা। তোমরা যা আমল করো সবই তাঁর দৃষ্টিপথে রয়েছে।

So tread thou the straight path as thou art commanded, and those who turn (unto Allah) with thee, and transgress not. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do.
Transliteration
Faistaqim kama omirta waman taba maAAaka wala tatghaw innahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা যুলুম করেছে তোমরা তাদের প্রতি ঝুঁকে পড়োনা, তাহলে তোমাদের স্পর্শ করবে জাহান্নামের আগুন এবং ছাড়া তোমাদের আর কোনো অলি থাকবে না, আর তোমাদেরকে সাহায্যও করা হবেনা।

And incline not toward those who do wrong lest the Fire touch you, and ye have no protecting friends against Allah, and afterward ye would not be helped.
Transliteration
Wala tarkanoo ila allatheena thalamoo fatamassakumu alnnaru wama lakum min dooni Allahi min awliyaa thumma la tunsaroona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কায়েম করো দিনের দুই প্রান্তে (অর্থাৎ ফজর এবং যোহর, আসর ও মাগরিব) এবং রাতের প্রথমাংশে (অর্থাৎ এশার )। নিশ্চয়ই পুণ্য মিটিয়ে দেয় পাপকে। এটি উপদেশ গ্রহণকারীদের জন্যে একটি উপদেশ।

Establish worship at the two ends of the day and in some watches of the night. Lo! good deeds annul ill - deeds. This is reminder for the mindful.
সবর অবলম্বন করো। অবশ্যি বিনষ্ট করেন না পূণ্যবানদের কর্মফল।

And have patience, (O Muhammad), for lo! Allah loseth not the wages of the good.
Transliteration
Waisbir fainna Allaha la yudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তোমাদের পূর্ব প্রজন্মের যাদের রক্ষা করেছিলাম, তাদের স্বল্প সংখ্যক ছাড়া বাকিরা পৃথিবীতে ফাসাদ সৃষ্টি করতে নিষেধ করতো না কেন? যালিমরা সে সময়েরই অনুসরণ করতো যাতে সুখ - স্বাচ্ছন্দ পেতো। আসলে তারা ছিলো অপরাধী।
Pickthall
If only there had been among the generations before you men possessing a remnant (of good sense) to warn (their people) from corruption in the earth, as did a few of those whom We saved from them! The wrong - doers followed that by which they were made sapless, and were guilty.
Transliteration
Falawla kana mina alqurooni min qablikum oloo baqiyyatin yanhawna AAani alfasadi fee alardi illa qaleelan mimman anjayna minhum waittabaAAa allatheena thalamoo ma otrifoo feehi wakanoo mujrimeena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অধিবাসীরা সংশোধনকামী থাকা অবস্থায় তোমার প্রভু অন্যায়ভাবে কোনো জনপদকে ধ্বংস করেন না।
Pickthall
In truth thy Lord destroyed not the townships tyrannously while their folk were doing right.
Transliteration
Wama kana rabbuka liyuhlika alqura bithulmin waahluha muslihoona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমার প্রভু চাইলে সব মানুষকে এক উম্মত বানাতে পারতেন। কিন্তু তারা বিভেদকারীই থেকে যাবে।
Pickthall
And if thy Lord had willed, He verily would have made mankind one nation, yet they cease not differing,
তবে তোমার প্রভু যাদের রহম করেন তারা ছাড়া। আর তিনি এ জন্যেই তাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন। ‘আমি অবশ্যি জিন এবং ইনসানকে দিয়ে জাহান্নাম পূর্ণ করবো’ - তোমার প্রভুর এ ঘোষণা পূর্ণ হবেই।
Pickthall
Save him on whom thy Lord hath mercy; and for that He did create them. And the Word of thy Lord hath been fulfilled: Verily I shall fill hell with the jinn and mankind together.
Transliteration
Illa man rahima rabbuka walithalika khalaqahum watammat kalimatu rabbika laamlaanna jahannama mina aljinnati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(পূর্বের) রসূলদের এসব সংবাদ আমরা তোমার কাছে বর্ণনা করছি এ জন্যে, যেনো এর মাধ্যমে আমরা তোমার হৃদয়কে দৃঢ় করি, আর এর মাধ্যমে তোমার কাছে এসেছে সত্য (ইতিহাস)। তাছাড়া এটি হলো মুমিনদের জন্যে উপদেশ এবং সতর্কবাণী।

And all that We relate unto thee of the story of the messengers is in order that thereby We may make firm thy heart. And herein hath come unto thee the Truth and an exhortation and a reminder for believers.
Transliteration
Wakullan naqussu AAalayka min anbai alrrusuli ma nuthabbitu bihi fuadaka wajaaka fee hathihi alhaqqu wamawAAithatun wathikra lilmumineena
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ঈমান আনেনা, তাদের বলে দাও: ‘‘তোমাদের অবস্থানে থেকে তোমরা তোমাদের কর্মকান্ড চালিয়ে যাও, আমরাও করে যাবো আমাদের কাজ।
Pickthall
And say unto those who believe not: Act according to your power. Lo! We (too) are acting.
Transliteration
Waqul lillatheena la yuminoona iAAmaloo AAala makanatikum inna AAamiloona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর তোমরা অপেক্ষা করো, আমরাও থাকলাম অপেক্ষায়।’’

And wait! Lo! We (too) are waiting.
Transliteration
Waintathiroo inna muntathiroona
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীর তো আল্লাহ্ই জানেন। সকল বিষয় তাঁরই কাছে রুজু হয়। সুতরাং তুমি তাঁরই ইবাদত করো এবং তাঁরই উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করো। তোমরা যা করো সে বিষয়ে তোমার প্রভু গাফিল নন।

And Allah's is the Invisible of the heavens and the earth, and unto Him the whole matter will be returned. So worship Him and put thy trust in Him. Lo! thy Lord is not unaware of what ye (mortals) do.
