হে মানুষ! তোমরা সতর্ক হও তোমাদের রবের প্রতি, যিনি তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন একটি আত্মা থেকে। আর তা থেকেই সৃষ্টি করেছেন তার জুড়ি। অত:পর তাদের দু’জন থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন অসংখ্য পুরুষ ও নারী। তোমরা ভয় করো আল্লাহকে, যাঁর দোহাই দিয়ে তোমরা (পরস্পর থেকে) তোমাদের অধিকার দাবি করো। আর সতর্ক হও রক্ত সম্পর্কের নিকটাত্মীয়দের (অধিকারের) ব্যাপারে। নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের উপর তত্ত্বাবধানকারী পাহারাদার।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha alnnasu ittaqoo rabbakumu allathee khalaqakum min nafsin wahidatin wakhalaqa minha zawjaha wabaththa minhuma rijalan katheeran wanisaan waittaqoo Allaha allathee tasaaloona bihi waalarhama inna Allaha kana AAalaykum raqeeban
Shakir
O people! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by Whom you demand one of another (your rights), and (to) the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you.

দিয়ে দাও এতিমদেরকে তাদের মাল - সম্পদ। ভালো সম্পদের সাথে মন্দ সম্পদ বদল করোনা। তোমরা গ্রাস করোনা তাদের মাল - সম্পদ তোমাদের মাল - সম্পদের সাথে মিশিয়ে নিয়ে। কারণ, এটা একটা কবিরা গুনাহ্।
Transliteration
Waatoo alyatama amwalahum wala tatabaddaloo alkhabeetha bialttayyibi wala takuloo amwalahum ila amwalikum innahu kana hooban kabeeran
Shakir
And give to the orphans their property, and do not substitute worthless (things) for (their) good (ones), and do not devour their property (as an addition) to your own property; this is surely a great crime.

আর তোমরা যদি আশংকা করো, এতিম - মেয়েদের প্রতি সুবিচার করতে পারবে না, তবে যেসব নারীদের তোমরা পছন্দ করো, তাদের মধ্য থেকে বিয়ে করে নাও দুই, তিন, বা চারজনকে। কিন্তু, যদি আশংকা করো (একাধিক বিয়ে করলে) স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে ইনসাফ করতে পারবেনা, সে ক্ষেত্রে একটি বিয়ে করো, অথবা তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত মেয়ে। বেইনসাফি থেকে বাঁচার জন্যে এ ব্যবস্থাই অধিকতর সঠিক।
Transliteration
Wain khiftum alla tuqsitoo fee alyatama fainkihoo mataba lakum mina alnnisai mathna wathulatha warubaAAa fain khiftum alla taAAdiloo fawahidatan aw ma malakat aymanukum thalika adna alla taAAooloo
Shakir
And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans, then marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one or what your right hands possess; this is more proper, that you may not deviate from the right course.

আর তোমরা (যাদের বিয়ে করবে তাদের অর্থাৎ) স্ত্রীদের মোহর খোলামনে আনন্দচিত্তে দিয়ে দাও। তবে তারা নিজেরাই যদি সন্তুষ্টচিত্তে (মোহরানার) কিছু অংশ মাফ করে দেয়, তবে তোমরাও সানন্দে তা গ্রহণ করতে পারো।
And give women their dowries as a free gift, but if they of themselves be pleased to give up to you a portion of it, then eat it with enjoyment and with wholesome result.

তোমরা নির্বোধদের হাতে তোমাদের মাল - সম্পদ তুলে দিওনা, যা তোমাদের জীবন ধারণের মাধ্যম বানিয়েছেন। তবে তা থেকে তাদের খাওয়া পরার ব্যবস্থা করবে এবং তাদের সাথে উত্তম - উপদেশমূলক কথা বলবে।
And do not give away your property which Allah has made for you a (means of) support to the weak of understanding, and maintain them out of (the profits of) it, and clothe them and speak to them words of honest advice.

আর তোমরা এতিমদের যাচাই - পরীক্ষা করতে থাকো, যতোদিন তারা বিবাহযোগ্য - বালেগ না হয়। অত:পর যদি তোমরা তাদের মধ্যে ভালোমন্দ যাচাই করার মতো যোগ্যতার সন্ধান পাও, তখন তাদের মাল - সম্পদ তাদের হাতে সোপর্দ করে দাও। তারা বড় হয়ে তাদের সম্পদ ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে যাবে এই ভয়ে অপচয় করে তাদের সম্পদ তাড়াতাড়ি খেয়ে ফেলোনা। যে (এতিমের যে তত্ত্বাবধানকারী) সম্পদশালী, সে যেনো (এতিমদের সম্পদ থেকে তত্ত্বাবধানের খরচ নেয়া থেকে) বিরত থাকে। তবে অভাবী হলে প্রচলিত সঙ্গত পরিমাণ গ্রহণ করবে। যখন তাদের সম্পদ তাদের হাতে সোপর্দ করবে, তখন তাতে সাক্ষী রাখবে। আর হিসাব নেয়ার জন্যে আল্লাহই কাফী (যথেষ্ট)।
And test the orphans until they attain puberty; then if you find in them maturity of intellect, make over to them their property, and do not consume it extravagantly and hastily, lest they attain to full age; and whoever is rich, let him abstain altogether, and whoever is poor, let him eat reasonably; then when you make over to them their property, call witnesses in their presence; and Allah is enough as a Reckoner.

বাবা - মা ও আত্মীয় - স্বজনের রেখে যাওয়া অর্থ - সম্পদে পুরুষ (ওয়ারিশদের) অংশ রয়েছে, আর আর বাবা - মা ও আত্মীয় - স্বজনের রেখে যাওয়া অর্থ সম্পদে নারী (ওয়ারিশদের)ও অংশ রয়েছে, তা কমই হোক কিংবা বেশি। (উভয়ের) প্রাপ্য নির্ধারিত ও বিধিবদ্ধ।
Men shall have a portion of what the parents and the near relatives leave, and women shall have a portion of what the parents and the near relatives leave, whether there is little or much of it; a stated portion.

(ওয়ারিশি অর্থ - সম্পদ) বণ্টনকালে (ওয়ারিশ নয় এমন) আত্মীয় এবং এতিম ও অভাবী লোক উপস্থিত থাকলে তাদেরকে তা থেকে কিছু দেবে এবং তাদের সাথে উত্তমভাবে কথা বলবে।
And when there are present at the division the relatives and the orphans and the needy, give them (something) out of it and speak to them kind words.

একথা ভেবে সবারই ভয় করা উচিত যে, তারাও যদি অসহায় সন্তান রেখে (মারা) যেতো, তবে (মৃত্যুর সময়) তারা কতো যে উদ্বিগ্ন হতো! সুতরাং তারা যেনো আল্লাহকে ভয় করে এবং সরল - সঠিক কথা বলে।
Transliteration
Walyakhsha allatheena law tarakoo min khalfihim thurriyyatan diAAafan khafoo AAalayhim falyattaqoo Allaha walyaqooloo qawlan sadeedan
Shakir
And let those fear who, should they leave behind them weakly offspring, would fear on their account, so let them be careful of (their duty to) Allah, and let them speak right words.

নিশ্চয়ই যারা যুলুম করে (অন্যায়ভাবে) এতিমদের মাল - সম্পদ গ্রাস করে, তারা ভক্ষণ করে তাদের উদরে আগুন এবং তাদেরকে দগ্ধ করা হবে জ্বলন্ত আগুনে।
(As for) those who swallow the property of the orphans unjustly, surely they only swallow fire into their bellies and they shall enter burning fire.

তোমাদের অসিয়ত (নির্দেশ) করছেন তোমাদের সন্তানদের (উত্তরাধিকার) সম্পর্কে: এক ছেলে সন্তান পাবে দুই মেয়ে সন্তানের সমান।কিন্তু তারা(ওয়ারিশরা) যদি শুধু মেয়ে সন্তান হয় এবং তারা যদি দুয়ের অধিক হয়, তবে তারা পরিত্যক্ত অর্থ - সম্পদের তিনভাগের দুইভাগ পাবে। কিন্তু কেউ যদি একমাত্র কন্যা রেখে যায়, তবে সে (পরিত্যক্ত সম্পদের) অর্ধেক পাবে। কেউ যদি সন্তান (এবং পিতা - মাতা) রেখে মারা যায়, তাহলে তার বাবা - মা প্রত্যেকেই ছয় ভাগের একভাগ করে পাবে। কিন্তু সে যদি নিঃসন্তান হয় এবং ওয়ারিশ হিসেবে বাবা - মা দু’জনকেই রেখে যায়, তবে তার মা পাবে তিনভাগের একভাগ। তবে সে যদি ভাইবোনও রেখে যায়, তবে তার মা পাবে ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ। এভাবে ওয়ারিশি বণ্টন করতে হবে মৃত ব্যক্তি যদি কোনো অসিয়ত করে যায় কিংবা কোনো দেনা রেখে যায়, সেগুলো পরিশোধ করার পর।তোমরা তো জানো না, তোমাদের বাবা - মা এবং সন্তানের মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্য লাভের দিক থেকে কে বেশি নিকটবর্তী? (উত্তরাধিকার বণ্টন এবং বণ্টনের এই হার) কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত আইন। নিশ্চয়ই সর্বজ্ঞানী এবং পরিপূর্ণ প্রজ্ঞার অধিকারী।
Transliteration
Yooseekumu Allahu fee awladikum lilththakari mithlu haththi alonthayayni fain kunna nisaan fawqa ithnatayni falahunna thulutha ma taraka wain kanat wahidatan falaha alnnisfu waliabawayhi likulli wahidin minhuma alssudusu mimma taraka in kana lahu waladun fain lam yakun lahu waladun wawarithahu abawahu faliommihi alththuluthu fain kana lahu ikhwatun faliommihi alssudusu min baAAdi wasiyyatin yoosee biha aw daynin abaokum waabnaokum la tadroona ayyuhum aqrabu lakum nafAAan fareedatan mina Allahi inna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman

Allah enjoins you concerning your children: The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females; then if they are more than two females, they shall have two - thirds of what the deceased has left, and if there is one, she shall have the half; and as for his parents, each of them shall have the sixth of what he has left if he has a child, but if he has no child and (only) his two parents inherit him, then his mother shall have the third; but if he has brothers, then his mother shall have the sixth after (the payment of) a bequest he may have bequeathed or a debt; your parents and your children, you know not which of them is the nearer to you in usefulness; this is an ordinance from Allah: Surely Allah is Knowing, Wise.

তোমাদের স্ত্রীরা যদি সন্তান না রেখে মারা যায়, তবে তাদের পরিত্যক্ত অর্থ - সম্পদের অর্ধেক তোমরা (স্বামীরা) পাবে। কিন্তু তারা যদি সন্তান রেখে যায়, তবে তাদের পরিত্যাক্ত অর্থ - সম্পদের চার ভাগের এক ভাগ তোমরা (স্বামীরা) পাবে, অসিয়ত এবং দেনা পরিশোধ করার পর। তোমাদের (স্বামীদের) পরিত্যক্ত অর্থ - সম্পদের চার ভাগের এক ভাগ তারা (স্ত্রীরা) পাবে, যদি তোমাদের কোনো সন্তান না থাকে। কিন্তু তোমাদের সন্তান থাকলে তোমাদের পরিত্যক্ত অর্থ - সম্পদের আট ভাগের এক ভাগ তারা পাবে, তোমাদের অসিয়ত এবং দেনা পরিশোধের পর। যদি এমন কোনো পুরুষ বা নারী মারা যায়, যার (ওয়ারিশি পাওয়ার জন্যে) সন্তান নেই, বাবা - মাও বেঁচে নেই, তবে একজন ভাই এবং একজন বোন আছে, সে ক্ষেত্রে উভয়ের প্রত্যেকেই ছয় ভাগের একভাগ পাবে। কিন্তু (তার ওয়ারিশ) এর চাইতে বেশি হলে তারা প্রত্যেকেই এক তৃতীয়াংশ (তিন ভাগের এক ভাগে) সমান অংশীদার হবে। এসব বণ্টনই অসিয়ত এবং ঋণ পরিশোধের পর করতে হবে, যদি তা ক্ষতিকর না হয়। (ওয়ারিশি বণ্টন বিষয়ে) এগুলো হলো আল্লাহর অসিয়ত (নির্দেশ, আইন, বিধান)। আর মহাজ্ঞানী, মহাধৈর্যশীল।

Walakum nisfu ma taraka azwajukum in lam yakun lahunna waladun fain kana lahunna waladun falakumu alrrubuAAu mimma tarakna min baAAdi wasiyyatin yooseena biha aw daynin walahunna alrrubuAAu mimma taraktum in lam yakun lakum waladun fain kana lakum waladun falahunna alththumunu mimma taraktum min baAAdi wasiyyatin toosoona biha aw daynin wain kana rajulun yoorathu kalalatan awi imraatun walahu akhun aw okhtun falikulli wahidin minhuma alssudusu fain kanoo akthara min thalika fahum shurakao fee alththuluthi min baAAdi wasiyyatin yoosa biha aw daynin ghayra mudarrin wasiyyatan mina Allahi waAllahu AAaleemun haleemun

And you shall have half of what your wives leave if they have no child, but if they have a child, then you shall have a fourth of what they leave after (payment of) any bequest they may have bequeathed or a debt; and they shall have the fourth of what you leave if you have no child, but if you have a child then they shall have the eighth of what you leave after (payment of) a bequest you may have bequeathed or a debt; and if a man or a woman leaves property to be inherited by neither parents nor offspring, and he (or she) has a brother or a sister, then each of them two shall have the sixth, but if they are more than that, they shall be sharers in the third after (payment of) any bequest that may have been bequeathed or a debt that does not harm (others); this is an ordinance from Allah: and Allah is Knowing, Forbearing.

এগুলো (ওয়ারিশি বিষয়ে) আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমানা। যে কেউ এবং তাঁর রসূলের আনুগত্য করবে, তিনি তাকে দাখিল করবেন জান্নাতসমূহের মধ্যে, যেগুলোর নিচে দিয়ে প্রবাহিত রয়েছে নদ - নদী নহর। সেগুলোর মধ্যে তারা থাকবে চিরকাল। আর এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
Transliteration
Tilka hudoodu Allahi waman yutiAAi Allaha warasoolahu yudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha wathalika alfawzu alAAatheemu
Shakir
These are Allah's limits, and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them; and this is the great achievement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কিন্তু যে কেউ অমান্য করবে এবং তাঁর রসূলের নির্দেশ এবং লংঘন করবে তাঁর (আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত) সীমানা, তিনি তাকে দাখিল করবেন আগুনে (জাহান্নামে)। সেখানেই সে থাকবে চিরকাল। তা ছাড়া তার জন্যে রয়েছে অপমানকর আযাব।
And whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle and goes beyond His limits, He will cause him to enter fire to abide in it, and he shall have an abasing chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের যেসব নারী ফাহেশা কাজে (ব্যভিচারে) লিপ্ত হয় (বলে অভিযোগ উঠে), তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে চারজন সাক্ষী উপস্থিত করাও। তারা (চারজনই) যদি তার বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষ্য দেয়, তবে তাকে গৃহবন্দী করে রাখো যতোদিন না তার মৃত্যু হয়, অথবা এ ধরনের নারীদের বিষয়ে কোনো বিধান নাযিল করেন।
Transliteration
Waallatee yateena alfahishata min nisaikum faistashhidoo AAalayhinna arbaAAatan minkum fain shahidoo faamsikoohunna fee albuyooti hatta yatawaffahunna almawtu aw yajAAala Allahu lahunna sabeelan
Shakir
And as for those who are guilty of an indecency from among your women, call to witnesses against them four (witnesses) from among you; then if they bear witness confine them to the houses until death takes them away or Allah opens some way for them.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের মধ্যে যে দুইজন ঐ কর্মে (ব্যভিচারে) লিপ্ত হবে, (প্রমাণিত হলে) তাদের দন্ড দাও। আর তারা যদি তওবা করে এবং নিজেদের ইসলাহ করে নেয়, তবে তাদের (শাস্তি) উপেক্ষা করো। নিশ্চয়ই তওবা কবুলকারী পরম দয়াবান।
Transliteration
Waallathani yatiyaniha minkum faathoohuma fain taba waaslaha faaAAridoo AAanhuma inna Allaha kana tawwaban raheeman
Shakir
And as for the two who are guilty of indecency from among you, give them both a punishment; then if they repent and amend, turn aside from them; surely Allah is Oft - returning (to mercy), the Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
জেনে রাখো, সেই সব লোকদের তওবাই কবুল করেন, যারা অজ্ঞতা বা ভুলবশত মন্দ কর্ম করে ফেলে এবং পরক্ষণেই ভীষণ অনুতপ্ত হয় ও তওবা করে। এরাই সেইসব লোক যাদের তওবা কবুল করেন। আর তো সর্বজ্ঞানী প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Repentance with Allah is only for those who do evil in ignorance, then turn (to Allah) soon, so these it is to whom Allah turns (mercifully), and Allah is ever Knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ঐসব লোকদের অনুতপ্ত হওয়া বা তওবা করা নিষ্ফল, যারা মন্দ কর্ম চালিয়ে যেতেই থাকে। অত:পর যখন তাদের কারো মউত এসে হাজির হয়, তখন সে বলে: ‘আমি এখন তওবা করছি’। আর ঐসব লোকদের তওবাও নিষ্ফল, যাদের মউত হয় কুফুরিতে নিমজ্জিত থাকা অবস্থায়। এসব লোকদের জন্যেই আমরা প্রস্তুত রেখেছি বেদনাদায়ক আযাব (Painful torment)।
Transliteration
Walaysati alttawbatu lillatheena yaAAmaloona alssayyiati hatta ithahadara ahadahumu almawtu qala innee tubtu alana wala allatheena yamootoona wahum kuffarun olaika aAAtadna lahum AAathaban aleeman
Shakir
And repentance is not for those who go on doing evil deeds, until when death comes to one of them, he says: Surely now I repent; nor (for) those who die while they are unbelievers. These are they for whom We have prepared a painful chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে ঐসব লোক যারা ঈমান এনেছো! তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল নয় নারীদের ওয়ারিশ হয়ে বসা তাদের ইচ্ছার বিরুদ্ধে। আর তোমরা তাদের হয়রানি করো না তাদেরকে দেয়া সম্পদের (মোহরানার) কিছু অংশ আত্মসাৎ করার উদ্দেশ্যে। তবে তারা প্রমাণিত ফাহেশা কাজে (ব্যভিচারে) লিপ্ত হয়ে থাকলে ভিন্ন কথা। তাদের সাথে ভদ্রোচিত ও সম্মানজনকভাবে বাস করো। তোমরা যদি তাদের (স্ত্রীদের) অপছন্দ করো, তবে এমনো হতে পারে যে, তোমরা কোনো কিছু অপছন্দ করছো, অথচ তাতে দান করবেন প্রভূত কল্যাণ।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la yahillu lakum an tarithoo alnnisaa karhan wala taAAduloohunna litathhaboo bibaAAdi maataytumoohunna illa an yateena bifahishatin mubayyinatin waAAashiroohunna bialmaAAroofi fain karihtumoohunna faAAasa an takrahoo shayan wayajAAala Allahu feehi khayran katheeran

O you who believe! it is not lawful for you that you should take women as heritage against (their) will, and do not straiten them in order that you may take part of what you have given them, unless they are guilty of manifest indecency, and treat them kindly; then if you hate them, it may be that you dislike a thing while Allah has placed abundant good in it.

তোমরা যদি একজন স্ত্রী বাদ দিয়ে তার জায়গায় আরেকজন স্ত্রী গ্রহণ করার এরাদা করো, এবং (যাকে বাদ দেবে) তাকে যদি প্রচুর অর্থ - সম্পদও দিয়ে থাকো, তবে তা থেকে কিছুই ফেরত নিওনা। তোমরা কি অপবাদ দিয়ে এবং সুস্পষ্ট পাপ কাজ করে তা ফেরত নেবে?
And if you wish to have (one) wife in place of another and you have given one of them a heap of gold, then take not from it anything; would you take it by slandering (her) and (doing her) manifest wrong?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা কী করে তা ফেরত নিতে পারো, অথচ তোমরা একজন আরেকজনের থেকে স্বাদ গ্রহণ করেছো এবং তারা (স্ত্রীরা) তোমাদের থেকে পাকা প্রতিশ্রুতি গ্রহণ করেছে?
And how can you take it when one of you has already gone in to the other and they have made with you a firm covenant?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা তাদের নিকাহ (বিয়ে) করোনা, যাদের নিকাহ করেছে তোমাদের পিতা ও পিতামহ। তবে অতীতে যা হবার হয়েছে। কারণ এ কাজ একটি ফাহেশা ও ঘৃণ্য কাজ এবং চরম নিকৃষ্ট পন্থা।
Transliteration
Wala tankihoo ma nakaha abaokum mina alnnisai illa ma qad salafa innahu kana fahishatan wamaqtan wasaa sabeelan
Shakir
And marry not woman whom your fathers married, except what has already passed; this surely is indecent and hateful, and it is an evil way.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের জন্যে (বিয়ে করা) হারাম করা হলো: তোমাদের মা, কন্যা, বোন, ফুফু, খালা, ভাইয়ের মেয়ে, বোনের মেয়ে, দুধ - মা, দুধ বোন, শাশুড়ী। আর তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের যাদের সাথে তোমরা সহবাস করেছো তাদের পূর্ব স্বামীর ঔরসজাত কন্যা, যারা তোমাদের অভিভাবকত্বে আছে। তবে যে স্ত্রীর সাথে সহবাস করোনি (অর্থাৎ সহবাস করার পূর্বেই যাদের তালাক দিয়েছো) তাদের পূর্ব স্বামীর ঔরসজাত কন্যাকে বিয়ে করতে বাধা নেই। এছাড়া তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম তোমাদের ঔরসজাত পুত্রের (তালাক দেয়া) স্ত্রী। হারাম দুই বোনকে একত্রে বিবাহাধীন করা, তবে পূর্বে (জাহেলি যুগে) যা হবার হয়েছে। নিশ্চয়ই পরম ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়াবান।
Transliteration
Hurrimat AAalaykum ommahatukum wabanatukum waakhawatukum waAAammatukum wakhalatukum wabanatu alakhi wabanatu alokhti waommahatukumu allatee ardaAAnakum waakhawatukum mina alrradaAAati waommahatu nisaikum warabaibukumu allatee fee hujoorikum min nisaikumu allatee dakhaltum bihinna fain lam takoonoo dakhaltum bihinna fala junaha AAalaykum wahalailu abnaikumu allatheena min aslabikum waan tajmaAAoo bayna alokhtayni illa ma qad salafa inna Allaha kana ghafooran raheeman

Forbidden to you are your mothers and your daughters and your sisters and your paternal aunts and your maternal aunts and brothers' daughters and sisters' daughters and your mothers that have suckled you and your foster - sisters and mothers of your wives and your step - daughters who are in your guardianship, (born) of your wives to whom you have gone in, but if you have not gone in to them, there is no blame on you (in marrying them), and the wives of your sons who are of your own loins and that you should have two sisters together, except what has already passed; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাছাড়া বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ সব নারীই তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম। তবে তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত দাসীদের বিয়ে করতে পারো। এগুলো তোমাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর দেয়া অবশ্য মান্য বিধান। উল্লেখিত নারীদের বাইরে যতো নারী আছে নিজেদের অর্থ - সম্পদের (মোহরানার) বিনিময়ে তাদের (যাকে চাও) বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করা তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল করা হলো। তবে বিবাহ বহির্ভূত যৌন লালসা তৃপ্ত করার জন্যে কিছুতেই নয়। (বিয়ে করে) তাদের থেকে তোমরা যে যৌন স্বাদ আস্বাদন করো, তার বিনিময়ে তাদের মোহরানা ফরয হিসেবে পরিশোধ করে দাও। মোহরানা নির্ধারণের পর তোমরা যদি কোনো বিষয়ে (নির্ধারিত পরিমাণের চাইতে বেশি প্রদান করতে) রাজি হয়ে যাও, তাতে তোমাদের কোনো দোষ হবেনা। নিশ্চয়ই সর্বজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Transliteration
Waalmuhsanatu mina alnnisai illa ma malakat aymanukum kitaba Allahi AAalaykum waohilla lakum ma waraa thalikum an tabtaghoo biamwalikum muhsineena ghayra musafiheena fama istamtaAAtum bihi minhunna faatoohunna ojoorahunna fareedatan wala junaha AAalaykum feema taradaytum bihi min baAAdi alfareedati inna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman
Shakir
And all married women except those whom your right hands possess (this is) Allah's ordinance to you, and lawful for you are (all women) besides those, provided that you seek (them) with your property, taking (them) in marriage not committing fornication. Then as to those whom you profit by, give them their dowries as appointed; and there is no blame on you about what you mutually agree after what is appointed; surely Allah is Knowing, Wise.

তোমাদের মধ্যে যে সম্ভ্রান্ত পরিবারের নারীদের বিয়ে করার সামর্থ রাখেনা, সে তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত দাসীদের কাউকেও বিয়ে করবে। তোমাদের ঈমান সম্পর্কে পুরোপুরি অবহিত। তোমরা একজন আরেকজন থেকে (অর্থাৎ তোমরা একই আদর্শ ও একই উম্মতভুক্ত)। সুতরাং তাদের বিয়ে করো তাদের অভিভাবকদের এযেন (অনুমতি) সাপেক্ষে এবং পরিশোধ করে দাও তাদের মোহরানা প্রচলিত ন্যায্য নিয়মে। তারা হবে সতী - সুরক্ষিত, অবৈধ যৌন নিবেদিতা নয় এবং ছেলে - বন্ধু গ্রহণকারিণীও নয়। তারা যখন বিবাহের দুর্গে আবদ্ধ হবে, তখন যদি ফাহেশা কাজে (ব্যভিচারে) লিপ্ত হয়, তখন তাদের দন্ড হবে স্বাধীন সম্ভ্রান্ত নারীদের দন্ডের অর্ধেক। (বিয়ের) এই বিধানটি দেয়া হলো তোমাদের মধ্যকার সেসব লোকদের জন্যে যারা (বিয়ে না করলে) দীনের বিধান লংঘন এবং স্বাস্থ্যহানির আশংকা করে। তবে সবর অবলম্বন করা তোমাদের জন্যে উত্তম। পরম ক্ষমাশীল পরম দয়াবান।
Transliteration
Waman lam yastatiAA minkum tawlan an yankiha almuhsanati almuminati famin ma malakat aymanukum min fatayatikumu almuminati waAllahu aAAlamu bieemanikum baAAdukum min baAAdin fainkihoohunna biithni ahlihinna waatoohunna ojoorahunna bialmaAAroofi muhsanatin ghayra masafihatin wala muttakhithati akhdanin faitha ohsinna fain atayna bifahishatin faAAalayhinna nisfu ma AAala almuhsanati mina alAAathabi thalika liman khashiya alAAanata minkum waan tasbiroo khayrun lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
Shakir
And whoever among you has not within his power ampleness of means to marry free believing women, then (he may marry) of those whom your right hands possess from among your believing maidens; and Allah knows best your faith: you are (sprung) the one from the other; so marry them with the permission of their masters, and give them their dowries justly, they being chaste, not fornicating, nor receiving paramours; and when they are taken in marriage, then if they are guilty of indecency, they shall suffer half the punishment which is (inflicted) upon free women. This is for him among you who fears falling into evil; and that you abstain is better for you, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের জন্যে বয়ান করে দেয়ার এরাদা করেছেন (হালাল এবং হারামের বিধান) এবং তোমাদের পরিচালিত করতে চাইছেন তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী ভালো লোকদের নীতি ও আদর্শের ভিত্তিতে। আর তিনি কবুল করে নিতে চাইছেন তোমাদের তওবা - অনুশোচনা। তো আলিমুল হাকিম (সর্বজান্তা সর্বজ্ঞানী)।
Allah desires to explain to you, and to guide you into the ways of those before you, and to turn to you (mercifully), and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এরাদা করেছেন তোমাদের তওবা ও অনুশোচনা কবুল করতে। অপরদিকে যারা কুপ্রবৃত্তির এত্তেবা (অনুসরণ) করে, তারা চায় তোমরা যেনো সত্যের পথ থেকে চরমভাবে বিচ্যুত হও।
Transliteration
WaAllahu yureedu an yatooba AAalaykum wayureedu allatheena yattabiAAoona alshshahawati an tameeloo maylan AAatheeman
Shakir
And Allah desires that He should turn to you (mercifully), and those who follow (their) lusts desire that you should deviate (with) a great deviation.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এরাদা করেছেন তোমাদের উপর থেকে (বিধি নিষেধের) বোঝা হালকা করতে। কারণ, মানুষকে তো সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে জয়ীফ (দুর্বল) করে।
Transliteration
Yureedu Allahu an yukhaffifa AAankum wakhuliqa alinsanu daAAeefan
Shakir
Allah desires that He should make light your burdens, and man is created weak.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে ঐসব লোক যারা ঈমান এনেছো! তোমরা তোমাদের পরস্পরের মাল - সম্পদ গ্রাস করোনা বাতিল পন্থায়। তবে পরস্পরের রাজি খুশির ভিত্তিতে তেজারত (ব্যবসা) করার মধ্যে দোষ নেই। তোমরা নিজেদের হত্যা করোনা। নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের প্রতি দয়াবান।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takuloo amwalakum baynakum bialbatili illa an takoona tijaratan AAan taradin minkum wala taqtuloo anfusakum inna Allaha kana bikum raheeman
Shakir
O you who believe! do not devour your property among yourselves falsely, except that it be trading by your mutual consent; and do not kill your people; surely Allah is Merciful to you.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে কেউ সীমা লঙ্ঘনের মাধ্যমে এবং যুলুম করে তা করবে, আমরা তাকে নিক্ষেপ করবো আগুনে। আর এ কাজ করা আল্লাহর জন্যে একেবারেই সহজ।
And whoever does this aggressively and unjustly, We will soon cast him into fire; and this is easy to Allah.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা যদি কবিরা গুনাহসমূহ পরিহার করে চলো, যেগুলো করতে তোমাদের নিষেধ করা হয়েছে, তাহলে আমরা তোমাদের ছোট খাটো সব গুনাহখাতা মুছে (expiate) দেবো এবং তোমাদের দাখিল করবো অতীব সম্মান ও মর্যাদার জায়গায় (জান্নাতে)।
Transliteration
In tajtaniboo kabaira ma tunhawna AAanhu nukaffir AAankum sayyiatikum wanudkhilkum mudkhalan kareeman
Shakir
If you shun the great sins which you are forbidden, We will do away with your small sins and cause you to enter an honorable place of entering.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাঁর যেসব (অনুগ্রহ) দান করে তোমাদের একজনকে আরেকজনের উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব প্রদান করেছেন, তোমরা সেগুলোর লালসা করোনা। পুরুষ যা উপার্জন করে, তার অংশ হবে সে অনুযায়ী, আর নারী যা উপার্জন করে তার অংশ সে অনুযায়ী। আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা করো তাঁর অনুগ্রহ থেকে। নিশ্চয়ই প্রতিটি বিষয়ে অবহিত।
Transliteration
Wala tatamannaw ma faddala Allahu bihi baAAdakum AAala baAAdin lilrrijali naseebun mimma iktasaboo walilnnisai naseebun mimma iktasabna waisaloo Allaha min fadlihi inna Allaha kana bikulli shayin AAaleeman
Shakir
And do not covet that by which Allah has made some of you excel others; men shall have the benefit of what they earn and women shall have the benefit of what they earn; and ask Allah of His grace; surely Allah knows all things.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
পিতা - মাতা ও আত্মীয় স্বজনের রেখে যাওয়া প্রতিটি অর্থ - সম্পদের জন্যে আমরা উত্তরাধিকারী নির্ধারণ করে দিয়েছি। আর যাদের সাথে তোমরা অঙ্গীকারাবদ্ধ তাদেরকে তাদের অংশ দিয়ে দেবে। নিশ্চয়ই প্রতিটি বিষয়ের সাক্ষী।
Transliteration
Walikullin jaAAalna mawaliya mimma taraka alwalidani waalaqraboona waallatheena AAaqadat aymanukum faatoohum naseebahum inna Allaha kana AAala kulli shayin shaheedan
Shakir
And to every one We have appointed heirs of what parents and near relatives leave; and as to those with whom your rights hands have ratified agreements, give them their portion; surely Allah is a witness over all things.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
পুরুষরা নারীদের অভিভাবক ও ব্যবস্থাপক। কারণ, তাদের একের উপর অপরকে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েই সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তাছাড়া পুরুষরা তাদের (নারীদের) জন্যে নিজেদের মাল - সম্পদ ব্যয় করবে। সতী সাধ্বী স্ত্রীরা হয়ে থাকে অনুগত এবং তারা স্বামীর অনুপস্থিতিতে হেফাযত করে তাদের যা হেফাযত করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। তোমরা যেসব স্ত্রীর ব্যাপারে অবাধ্যতার আশংকা করো তাদেরকে (প্রথমে) বুঝাও উপদেশ দাও, (দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ে) তাদের সাথে শয্যা গ্রহণ করতে অস্বীকার করো, (তাতেও সুপথে না এলে অবশেষে) প্রহার করো (হালকাভাবে, যদি তা উপকারী হয়)। যে কোনো পর্যায়ে যখন তারা তোমাদের অনুগত হয়ে যাবে, তখন আর তাদের উপর নির্যাতন চালাবার বাহানা তালাশ করোনা। নিশ্চয়ই মহান এবং শ্রেষ্ঠ।
Transliteration
Alrrijalu qawwamoona AAala alnnisai bima faddala Allahu baAAdahum AAala baAAdin wabima anfaqoo min amwalihim faalssalihatu qanitatun hafithatun lilghaybi bimahafitha Allahu waallatee takhafoona nushoozahunna faAAithoohunna waohjuroohunna fee almadajiAAi waidriboohunna fain ataAAnakum fala tabghoo AAalayhinna sabeelan inna Allaha kana AAaliyyan kabeeran
Shakir
Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping - places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা যদি তাদের (অর্থাৎ স্বামী - স্ত্রী) দুইজনের মাঝে সম্পর্ক ফাটল - এর আশংকা করো, তবে স্বামীর পরিবার থেকে একজন সালিশ এবং স্ত্রীর পরিবার থেকে একজন সালিশ (মোট দুইজন সালিশ) নিযুক্ত করো। তারা উভয়ে শান্তি চাইলে তাদের মাঝে মীমাংসার তৌফিক দান করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই সর্বজ্ঞানী, সর্ববিষয়ে অবহিত।
Transliteration
Wain khiftum shiqaqa baynihima faibAAathoo hakaman min ahlihi wahakaman min ahliha in yureeda islahan yuwaffiqi Allahu baynahuma inna Allaha kana AAaleeman khabeeran
Shakir
And if you fear a breach between the two, then appoint judge from his people and a judge from her people; if they both desire agreement, Allah will effect harmony between them, surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা সবাই এক আল্লাহর ইবাদত করো এবং তাঁর সাথে কোনো কিছুকে শরিক করোনা। পিতা - মাতার প্রতি ইহ্সান করো এবং আত্মীয় - স্বজন, এতিম, মিসকিন, আত্মীয় প্রতিবেশী, অনাত্মীয় প্রতিবেশী, পার্শ্ব সাথি, ভ্রমণ পথের সাক্ষাত লাভকারী পথিক এবং তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত দাস - দাসীদের প্রতিও ইহ্সান করো। নিশ্চয়ই অহংকারী দাম্ভিকদের পছন্দ করেননা।
Transliteration
WaoAAbudoo Allaha wala tushrikoo bihi shayan wabialwalidayni ihsanan wabithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeni waaljari thee alqurba waaljari aljunubi waalssahibi bialjanbi waibni alssabeeli wama malakat aymanukum inna Allaha la yuhibbu man kana mukhtalan fakhooran

And serve Allah and do not associate any thing with Him and be good to the parents and to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the neighbor of (your) kin and the alien neighbor, and the companion in a journey and the wayfarer and those whom your right hands possess; surely Allah does not love him who is proud, boastful;
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(এবং তিনি এমন লোকদেরও পছন্দ করেননা,) যারা নিজেরা বখিলি করে, মানুষকেও বখিলি করার আদেশ করে এবং নিজ অনুগ্রহ ভান্ডার থেকে তাদের যা দিয়েছেন সেগুলো গোপন করে। আমরা অকৃতজ্ঞদের জন্যে প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি অবমাননাকর আযাব।
Those who are niggardly and bid people to be niggardly and hide what Allah has given them out of His grace; and We have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যারা নিজেদের মাল - সম্পদ ব্যয় করে লোক দেখাবার উদ্দেশ্যে এবং (প্রকৃতপক্ষে) ও পরকালের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখেনা ( তাদেরও পছন্দ করেন না)। মূলত শয়তান যার সাথি, তার সাথি বড়ই নিকৃষ্ট!
And those who spend their property (in alms) to be seen of the people and do not believe in Allah nor in the last day; and as for him whose associate is the Shaitan, an evil associate is he!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের কী ক্ষতি হতো, যদি তারা ও পরকালের প্রতি আস্থা রাখতো এবং তাদের যে সম্পদ দান করেছেন তা থেকে ব্যয় করতো? তাদের সম্পর্কে ভালোভাবেই জানেন।
And what (harm) would it have done them if they had believed in Allah and the last day and spent (benevolently) of what Allah had given them? And Allah knows them.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কারো প্রতি অণু পরিমাণ যুলুম করেন না। আর কেউ যদি একটি পুণ্যের কাজও করে, তিনি সেটাকে দ্বিগুণ করে দেন এবং নিজের পক্ষ থেকে তাকে মহাপুরস্কার প্রদান করেন।
Transliteration
Inna Allaha la yathlimu mithqala tharratin wain taku hasanatan yudaAAifha wayuti min ladunhu ajran AAatheeman
Shakir
Surely Allah does not do injustice to the weight of an atom, and if it is a good deed He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ভেবে দেখো, সে সময় ব্যাপারটা কী গুরুতর হবে, যখন আমরা প্রত্যেক উম্মত থেকে একজন সাক্ষী দাঁড় করাবো এবং তোমাকে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষী হিসেবে হাজির করবো?
Transliteration
Fakayfa itha jina min kulli ommatin bishaheedin wajina bika AAala haolai shaheedan
Shakir
How will it be, then, when We bring from every people a witness and bring you as a witness against these?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা কুফুরির পথ অবলম্বন করেছে এবং এই রসূলের অবাধ্য হয়েছে, সেদিন তারা কামনা করবে, হায়, মাটি যদি তাদেরকে তার গর্ভে ঢুকিয়ে নিতো! সেদিন তারা আল্লাহর নিকট থেকে কোনো কথাই গোপন করতে পারবে না।
Transliteration
Yawmaithin yawaddu allatheena kafaroo waAAasawoo alrrasoola law tusawwa bihimu alardu wala yaktumoona Allaha hadeethan
Shakir
On that day will those who disbelieve and disobey the Apostle desire that the earth were levelled with them, and they shall not hide any word from Allah.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা সালাতের নিকটবর্তীও হয়োনা নেশাগ্রস্ত অবস্থায়১২ যতোক্ষণ না তোমরা যা বলো তা বুঝতে পারো। অনুরূপ জুনুবি (গোসল ফরয) অবস্থায়ও গোসল না করা পর্যন্ত সালাতের কাছে যেয়ো না; তবে ভ্রমণরত (মুসাফির অবস্থায়) থাকলে ভিন্ন কথা। আর তোমরা যদি পীড়িত - অসুস্থ হও, অথবা সফরে থাকো, কিংবা তোমাদের কেউ প্রকৃতির ডাকে সাড়া দিয়ে এসে থাকে, অথবা যদি তোমরা নারী সহবাস করে থাকো এবং এসব অবস্থায় পানি না পাও, তবে পাক মাটি দিয়ে তাইয়াম্মুম করে নিও, (এভাবে যারা) মাসেহ্ করবে নিজেদের মুখমন্ডল এবং হাত, নিশ্চয়ই (তাদের ব্যাপারে) অতীব পাপমোচনকারী এবং পরম ক্ষমাশীল।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la taqraboo alssalata waantum sukarahatta taAAlamoo ma taqooloona wala junuban illa AAabiree sabeelin hatta taghtasiloo wain kuntum marda aw AAala safarin aw jaa ahadun minkum mina alghaiti aw lamastumu alnnisaa falam tajidoo maan fatayammamoo saAAeedan tayyiban faimsahoo biwujoohikum waaydeekum inna Allaha kana AAafuwwan ghafooran

O you who believe! do not go near prayer when you are Intoxicated until you know (well) what you say, nor when you are under an obligation to perform a bath - - unless (you are) travelling on the road - - until you have washed yourselves; and if you are sick, or on a journey, or one of you come from the privy or you have touched the women, and you cannot find water, betake yourselves to pure earth, then wipe your faces and your hands; surely Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি তাদের দেখোনি, যাদের আল কিতাবের অংশ বিশেষ দেয়া হয়েছে? তারা ক্রয় করে ভ্রান্ত পথ এবং এরাদা করে: তোমরাও যেনো হও বিপথগামী।
Transliteration
Alam tara ila allatheena ootoo naseeban mina alkitabi yashtaroona alddalalata wayureedoona an tadilloo alssabeela

Have you not considered those to whom a portion of the Book has been given? They buy error and desire that you should go astray from the way.

তোমাদের দুশমনদের সম্পর্কে ভালোভাবেই জানেন। তোমাদের অলি হিসেবে আল্লাহই কাফী (যথেষ্ট) এবং সাহায্যকারী হিসেবেও আল্লাহই কাফী।
And Allah best knows your enemies; and Allah suffices as a Guardian, and Allah suffices as a Helper.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ইহুদি হয়েছে তাদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক আছে যারা কথাকে স্থানচ্যুত করে বিকৃত করে। তারা বলে: ‘আমরা তোমার কথা শুনলাম এবং অমান্য করলাম’; আর শুনে, না শুনার মতো; নিজেদের জিহবা কুঞ্চিত করে দীনের প্রতি তাচ্ছিল্য প্রকাশ করে তারা আরো বলে: ‘রায়েনা’।১৩ অথচ তারা যদি বলতো: ‘আমরা শুনলাম এবং মেনে নিলাম’, ‘শুনুন’ এবং ‘আমাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করুন’, তবে সেটাই তাদের জন্যে উত্তম ও সঙ্গত হতো। কিন্তু তাদের অবিশ্বাসের জন্যে তাদেরকে অভিশপ্ত করেছেন। সুতরাং স্বল্প সংখ্যক ছাড়া তারা ঈমান আনবেনা।
Of those who are Jews (there are those who) alter words from their places and say: We have heard and we disobey and: Hear, may you not be made to hear! and: Raina, distorting (the word) with their tongues and taunting about religion; and if they had said (instead): We have heard and we obey, and hearken, and unzurna it would have been better for them and more upright; but Allah has cursed them on account of their unbelief, so they do not believe but a little.

হে ঐসব লোক, যাদেরকে ইতোপূর্বে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে! তোমাদের কাছে যা আছে (অর্থাৎ তাওরাত ও ইনজিল) তার সত্যায়নকারী যে কিতাব আমরা (মুহাম্মদের প্রতি) নাযিল করেছি, তোমরা তার প্রতি ঈমান আনো আমরা চেহারাগুলোকে বিকৃত করে পেছনের দিকে ফিরিয়ে দেয়ার পূর্বেই, অথবা শনিবার ওয়ালাদের যেমন অভিশপ্ত করেছি, সেরকম অভিশপ্ত করার পূর্বেই। আল্লাহর নির্দেশ কার্যকর হয়েই থাকে।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena ootoo alkitaba aminoo bima nazzalna musaddiqan lima maAAakum min qabli an natmisa wujoohan fanaruddaha AAala adbariha aw nalAAanahum kama laAAanna ashaba alssabti wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan
Shakir
O you who have been given the Book! believe that which We have revealed, verifying what you have, before We alter faces then turn them on their backs, or curse them as We cursed the violaters of the Sabbath, and the command of Allah shall be executed.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করা হলে (সে পাপ) ক্ষমা করবেননা। এছাড়া অন্য পাপসমূহ যাকে ইচ্ছা তিনি ক্ষমা করে দেবেন। যে আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করে, সে তো উদ্ভাবন করে নেয় এক মহাপাপ।
Transliteration
Inna Allaha la yaghfiru an yushraka bihi wayaghfiru ma doona thalika liman yashao waman yushrik biAllahi faqadi iftara ithman AAatheeman
Shakir
Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি তাদের (ইহুদি ও খৃস্টানদের) দেখোনি, যাঁরা নিজেরাই নিজেদেরকে পুত - পবিত্রতার সার্টিফিকেট দেয়? বরং যাকে চান, শুদ্ধ ও পবিত্র করে দেন। তিনি কারো প্রতি বিন্দু পরিমাণ যুলুম করেন না।
Transliteration
Alam tara ila allatheena yuzakkoona anfusahum bali Allahu yuzakkee man yashao wala yuthlamoona fateelan
Shakir
Have you not considered those who attribute purity to themselves? Nay, Allah purifies whom He pleases; and they shall not be wronged the husk of a date stone.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
দেখো তাদের ঔদ্ধত্য, তারা স্বয়ং আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা রচনা করে। সুস্পষ্ট পাপ হিসেবে এটাই যথেষ্ট।
See how they forge the lie against Allah, and this is sufficient as a manifest sin.

তুমি কি তাদের দেখোনি যাদের কিতাবের অংশ বিশেষ দেয়া হয়েছে? তারা জিবত্১৪ ও তাগুতের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখে। তারা কাফিরদের সম্পর্কে বলে: ‘যারা ঈমানের পথে চলে তাদের চাইতে এদের পথই অধিকতর সঠিক।’
Transliteration
Alam tara ila allatheena ootoo naseeban mina alkitabi yuminoona bialjibti waalttaghooti wayaqooloona lillatheena kafaroo haolai ahda mina allatheena amanoo sabeelan
Shakir
Have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Book has been given? They believe in idols and false deities and say of those who disbelieve: These are better guided in the path than those who believe.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এরাই সেসব লোক যাদের প্রতি লানত বর্ষণ করেছেন। আর যাকে লানত বর্ষণ করেন, তুমি কখনো তার জন্যে কোনো সাহায্যকারী পাবেনা।
Those are they whom Allah has cursed, and whomever Allah curses you shall not find any helper for him.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নাকি (আল্লাহর) সাম্রাজ্যে তাদের কোনো অংশ আছে? তেমনটি হলেও তারা মানুষকে একটি কানাকড়িও দেবেনা।
Transliteration
Am lahum naseebun mina almulki faithan la yutoona alnnasa naqeeran
Shakir
Or have they a share in the kingdom? But then they would not give to people even the speck in the date stone.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নাকি তাঁর অনুগ্রহ - ভান্ডার থেকে মানুষকে (মুহাম্মদ সা. ও তার অনুসারীদেরকে) যা দিয়েছেন, সে কারণে তারা তাদের প্রতি হিংসায় জ্বলে পুড়ে মরছে? যদি তাই হয়, তবে তো আমরা ইবরাহিমের বংশধরদের (বনি ইসরাঈলকেও) কিতাব এবং হিকমাহ্ দিয়েছিলাম। আরো দিয়েছিলাম এক বিশাল সাম্রাজ্য।
Transliteration
Am yahsudoona alnnasa AAala maatahumu Allahu min fadlihi faqad ataynaala ibraheema alkitaba waalhikmata waataynahum mulkan AAatheeman
Shakir
Or do they envy the people for what Allah has given them of His grace? But indeed We have given to Ibrahim's children the Book and the wisdom, and We have given them a grand kingdom.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কিন্তু (সে ক্ষেত্রেও তো তাদের সবাই ঈমান আনেনি) তাদের কিছু লোক ঈমান এনেছিল আর কিছু লোক মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছিল। তাদের দগ্ধ করার জন্যে তো জাহান্নামই যথেষ্ট।
Transliteration
Faminhum man amana bihi waminhum man sadda AAanhu wakafa bijahannama saAAeeran
Shakir
So of them is he who believes in him, and of them is he who turns away from him, and hell is sufficient to burn.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা আমার আয়াত মেনে নিতে অস্বীকার করে, অচিরেই আমরা তাদের দগ্ধ করবো আগুনে। যখনই তাদের চামড়া দগ্ধ হয়ে যাবে, তখনই নতুন চামড়া দিয়ে তা বদল করে দেবো, যাতে করে তারা (লাগাতার) আযাবের স্বাদ গ্রহণ করতে পারে। নিশ্চয়ই মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাবান।
Transliteration
Inna allatheena kafaroo biayatina sawfa nusleehim naran kullama nadijat julooduhum baddalnahum juloodan ghayraha liyathooqoo alAAathaba inna Allaha kana AAazeezan hakeeman
Shakir
(As for) those who disbelieve in Our communications, We shall make them enter fire; so oft as their skins are thoroughly burned, We will change them for other skins, that they may taste the chastisement; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ঈমান আনে এবং আমলে সালেহ্ (উত্তম, ন্যায় ও পুণ্যের কাজ) করে, অচিরেই আমরা তাদের দাখিল করবো জান্নাতে, যার নিচে দিয়ে বহমান থাকবে নদ - নদী - নহর। চিরকাল থাকবে তারা সেখানে। তাছাড়া সেখানে তারা পাবে পবিত্র স্বামী এবং স্ত্রী। আর আমরা তাদের দাখিল করবো সুবিস্তৃত চিরস্নিগ্ধ ছায়ায়।
And (as for) those who believe and do good deeds, We will make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them for ever; they shall have therein pure mates, and We shall make them enter a dense shade.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন আমানত তার হকদারকে দিয়ে দিতে। তিনি আরো নির্দেশ দিচ্ছেন, তোমরা যখন মানুষের মাঝে বিচার ফায়সালা করবে, ন্যায় ও ইনসাফের সাথে সুবিচার করবে। তোমাদের অতি উত্তম উপদেশ দিচ্ছেন। নিশ্চয়ই সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বদ্রষ্টা।
Transliteration
Inna Allaha yamurukum an tuaddoo alamanati ila ahliha waithahakamtum bayna alnnasi an tahkumoo bialAAadli inna Allaha niAAimma yaAAithukum bihi inna Allaha kana sameeAAan baseeran
Shakir
Surely Allah commands you to make over trusts to their owners and that when you judge between people you judge with justice; surely Allah admonishes you with what is excellent; surely Allah is Seeing, Hearing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা যারা ঈমান এনেছো! তোমরা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করো, আনুগত্য করো এই রসূলের, আর তোমাদের (মুসলিমদের) মধ্যকার সেইসব লোকদের যারা দায়িত্বশীল ও ক্ষমতাপ্রাপ্ত। আর তোমরা যখনই কোনো বিষয়ে মতভেদ ও মতবিরোধ করবে, তা (ফায়সালার জন্যে) উপস্থাপন করো ও রসূলের (কুরআন ও সুন্নাহর) নিকট, যদি তোমরা ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি ঈমান রাখো। এটিই কল্যাণকর পন্থা এবং পরিণতির দিক থেকেও সর্বোত্তম।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo alrrasoola waolee alamri minkum fain tanazaAAtum fee shayin faruddoohu ila Allahi waalrrasooli in kuntum tuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri thalika khayrun waahsanu taweelan
Shakir
O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the Apostle and those in authority from among you; then if you quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and the Apostle, if you believe in Allah and the last day; this is better and very good in the end.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি তাদের দেখোনি, যারা (অর্থাৎ মুনাফিকরা) দাবি করে, তারা তোমার প্রতি যা নাযিল হয়েছে এবং তোমার পূর্বে যা নাযিল করা হয়েছে, সে সবগুলোর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে; কিন্তু তারা বিচার ফায়সালার জন্যে তাগুতের দ্বারস্থ হয়, অথচ তাদের নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছে তাগুতকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করতে। মূলত শয়তান তাদের বিপথগামী করে নিয়ে যেতে চায় বহুদূর।
Transliteration
Alam tara ila allatheena yazAAumoona annahum amanoo bima onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika yureedoona an yatahakamoo ila alttaghooti waqad omiroo an yakfuroo bihi wayureedu alshshaytanu an yudillahum dalalan baAAeedan
Shakir
Have you not seen those who assert that they believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They desire to summon one another to the judgment of the Shaitan, though they were commanded to deny him, and the Shaitan desires to lead them astray into a remote error.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন তাদের বলা হয়: ‘আল্লাহর নাযিলকৃত কিতাব এবং রসূলের দিকে আসো,’ তখন তুমি দেখতে পাও, মুনাফিকরা তোমার থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে পেছনে হটে যায়।
Transliteration
Waitha qeela lahum taAAalaw ila ma anzala Allahu waila alrrasooli raayta almunafiqeena yasuddoona AAanka sudoodan
Shakir
And when it is said to them: Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Apostle, you will see the hypocrites turning away from you with (utter) aversion.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে যখন তাদের উপর কোনো মসিবত আপতিত হবে, তখন কী অবস্থা দাঁড়াবে? তখন তারা তোমার কাছে এসে হলফ করে বলবে: আল্লাহর কসম, আমরা কল্যাণ এবং সম্প্রীতি ছাড়া আর অন্য কিছু চাইনি।’
Transliteration
Fakayfa itha asabathum museebatun bima qaddamat aydeehim thumma jaooka yahlifoona biAllahi in aradna illa ihsanan watawfeeqan
Shakir
But how will it be when misfortune befalls them on account of what their hands have sent before? Then they will come to you swearing by Allah: We did not desire (anything) but good and concord.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা (মুনাফিক), তাদের মনের খবর ভালো করেই জানেন। সুতরাং তাদের উপেক্ষা করো, আর তাদের ওয়ায (উপদেশ দান) করো এবং তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে এমনভাবে কথা বলো, যেনো তাদের মর্ম স্পর্শ করে।
These are they of whom Allah knows what is in their hearts; therefore turn aside from them and admonish them, and speak to them effectual words concerning themselves.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আল্লাহর নির্দেশে তাঁর আনুগত্য করা হবে - এ উদ্দেশ্য ছাড়া আমরা একজন রসূলও পাঠাইনি। তারা (মুনাফিকরা) নিজেদের প্রতি কোনো যুলুম করার পর যদি এ পন্থা অবলম্বন করতো যে, তোমার কাছে ছুটে আসতো, আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করতো এবং রসূলও তাদের জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করতো, তাহলে অবশ্যি তারা আল্লাহকে পরম ক্ষমাশীল ও পরম দায়াবান পেতো।
Transliteration
Wama arsalna min rasoolin illa liyutaAAa biithni Allahi walaw annahum iththalamoo anfusahum jaooka faistaghfaroo Allaha waistaghfara lahumu alrrasoolu lawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheeman
Shakir
And We did not send any apostle but that he should be obeyed by Allah's permission; and had they, when they were unjust to themselves, come to you and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Apostle had (also) asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Oft - returning (to mercy), Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কিন্তু না (তাদের অবস্থা তা নয়), তোমার প্রভুর শপথ, এরা কখনো হতে পারবেনা, যতোক্ষণনা তারা তাদের পারস্পরিক বিবাদ বিসম্বাদে তোমাকে হাকিম (Judge) নিযুক্ত করে, অত:পর তোমার ফায়সালা সম্পর্কে তাদের মনে কোনো দ্বিধা না থাকে এবং বিনীতভাবে তোমার ফায়সালা তসলিম (গ্রহণ) করে নেয়।
Transliteration
Fala warabbika la yuminoona hatta yuhakkimooka feema shajara baynahum thumma la yajidoo fee anfusihim harajan mimma qadayta wayusallimoo tasleeman
Shakir
But no! by your Lord! they do not believe (in reality) until they make you a judge of that which has become a matter of disagreement among them, and then do not find any straitness in their hearts as to what you have decided and submit with entire submission.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(এমন কি স্বয়ং) আমরাও যদি তাদের নির্দেশ দিতাম: ‘তোমার নিজেদের হত্যা করো অথবা নিজেদের গৃহ ত্যাগ করো’, তবে অল্প কিছু লোক ছাড়া তারা তা করতো না। তাদেরকে যে ওয়ায (উপদেশ দান) করা হয়েছে তারা যদি তা পালন করতো, তবে তা হতো তাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর এবং তাদের ঈমানের দৃঢ়তা সাধনকারী।
Transliteration
Walaw anna katabna AAalayhim ani oqtuloo anfusakum awi okhrujoo min diyarikum ma faAAaloohu illa qaleelun minhum walaw annahum faAAaloo ma yooAAathoona bihi lakana khayran lahum waashadda tathbeetan
Shakir
And if We had prescribed for them: Lay down your lives or go forth from your homes, they would not have done it except a few of them; and if they had done what they were admonished, it would have certainly been better for them and best in strengthening (them);
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর তখন অবশ্যি আমরা আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে তাদের দান করতাম মহাপুরস্কার।
Transliteration
Waithan laataynahum min ladunna ajran AAatheeman
Shakir
And then We would certainly have given them from Ourselves a great reward.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এবং অবশ্যি আমরা তাদের পরিচালিত করতাম সিরাতুল মুসতাকিমে।
Transliteration
Walahadaynahum siratan mustaqeeman
Shakir
And We would certainly have guided them in the right path.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যে কেউ আনুগত্য করবে আল্লাহর এবং এই রসূলের, তারা সঙ্গি হবে আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহপ্রাপ্ত নবী, সিদ্দিক, শহীদ এবং পুণ্যবানদের। সঙ্গি হিসেবে এরা কতোইনা উত্তম!
Transliteration
Waman yutiAAi Allaha waalrrasoola faolaika maAAa allatheena anAAama Allahu AAalayhim mina alnnabiyyeena waalssiddeeqeena waalshshuhadai waalssaliheena wahasuna olaika rafeeqan
Shakir
And whoever obeys Allah and the Apostle, these are with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favors from among the prophets and the truthful and the martyrs and the good, and a goodly company are they!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এটা (এমনটি লাভ করা) আল্লাহর বিরাট অনুগ্রহ। সর্বজ্ঞানী হিসেবে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট।
Transliteration
Thalika alfadlu mina Allahi wakafa biAllahi AAaleeman
Shakir
This is grace from Allah, and sufficient is Allah as the Knower.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা সতর্কতা গ্রহণ করো, তারপর দলে দলে ভাগ হয়ে সামনে অগ্রসর হও, অথবা একত্রে অগ্রসর হও।
O you who believe! take your precaution, then go forth in detachments or go forth in a body.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন লোকও আছে, যে (যুদ্ধে যেতে) গড়িমসি করে। তারপর তোমাদের কোনো মসিবত স্পর্শ করলে সে বলে: ‘ আমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন যে, আমি তাদের সাথে যাইনি।’
Transliteration
Wainna minkum laman layubattianna fain asabatkum museebatun qala qad anAAama Allahu AAalayya ith lam akun maAAahum shaheedan
Shakir
And surely among you is he who would certainly hang back! If then a misfortune befalls you he says: Surely Allah conferred a benefit on me that I was not present with them.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর তোমরা যদি আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে কোনো অনুগ্রহ লাভ করো, তখন তোমাদের ও তার মধ্যে যেনো কোনো সম্পর্ক নেই এমন ভাব দেখিয়ে সে অবশ্যি বলবে: ‘হায়, আমি যদি তাদের সাথে থাকতাম, তবে আমিও বিরাট সাফল্য লাভ করতাম।’
Transliteration
Walain asabakum fadlun mina Allahi layaqoolanna kaan lam takun baynakum wabaynahu mawaddatun ya laytanee kuntu maAAahum faafooza fawzan AAatheeman
Shakir
And if grace from Allah come to you, he would certainly cry out, as if there had not been any friendship between you and him: Would that I had been with them, then I should have attained a mighty good fortune.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সুতরাং যারা আখিরাতের (সাফল্যের) বিনিময়ে দুনিয়ার জীবনকে বিক্রয় করে দেয়ার সাহস রাখে, তারাই আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করুক। যে কেউ আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করবে, সে নিহত হোক, কিংবা বিজয়ী হোক, আমরা অচিরেই তাকে প্রদান করবো মহাপুরস্কার।
Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world's life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward.

তোমাদের কী হয়েছে, কেন তোমরা লড়াই করছোনা আল্লাহর পথে! সেইসব দুর্বল অসহায় নর, নারী ও শিশুদের জন্যে, যারা ফরিয়াদ করে বলছে: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের বের করে নাও এই জনপদ থেকে। এর অধিবাসীরা যালিম। আর তোমার পক্ষ থেকে আমাদের জন্যে একজন অলির (অভিভাবকের) ব্যবস্থা করে দাও এবং ব্যবস্থা করে দাও একজন সাহায্যকারীর।’
Transliteration
Wama lakum la tuqatiloona fee sabeeli Allahi waalmustadAAafeena mina alrrijali waalnnisai waalwildani allatheena yaqooloona rabbana akhrijna min hathihi alqaryati alththalimi ahluha waijAAal lana min ladunka waliyyan waijAAal lana min ladunka naseeran
Shakir
And what reason have you that you should not fight in the way of Allah and of the weak among the men and the women and the children, (of) those who say: Our Lord! cause us to go forth from this town, whose people are oppressors, and give us from Thee a guardian and give us from Thee a helper.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ঈমান এনেছে তারা লড়াই করে আল্লাহর পথে, আর যারা কুফুরি করেছে তারা লড়াই করে তাগুতের পথে। সুতরাং তোমরা লড়াই করো শয়তানের বন্ধুদের বিরুদ্ধে। অবশ্যই শয়তানের চক্রান্ত দুর্বল।
Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak.

তুমি কি তাদের অবস্থা দেখছোনা, যাদের বলা হয়েছিল: ‘তোমাদের হাত সংবরণ করো, কায়েম করো এবং যাকাত প্রদান করো।’ তারপর যখন তাদের জন্যে যুদ্ধের নির্দেশ দেয়া হলো, তখন তাদেরই একটি দল মানুষকে ভয় করতে থাকলো আল্লাহকে ভয় করার মতো, কিংবা তার চেয়েও বেশি ভয়। তারা বলতে থাকলো: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের কেন যুদ্ধের নির্দেশ দিলে? প্রভু! আমাদেরকে কিছুকালের অবকাশ দাও।’ হে নবী! বলো: ‘পার্থিব ভোগ - সম্ভার তো সামান্য। মুত্তাকিদের জন্যে আখিরাতই সর্বোত্তম। তোমাদের প্রতি বিন্দু পরিমাণও যুলুম করা হবেনা।’
Transliteration
Alam tara ila allatheena qeela lahum kuffoo aydiyakum waaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata falamma kutiba AAalayhimu alqitalu itha fareequn minhum yakhshawna alnnasa kakhashyati Allahi aw ashadda khashyatan waqaloo rabbana lima katabta AAalayna alqitala lawla akhkhartana ila ajalin qareebin qul mataAAu alddunya qaleelun waalakhiratu khayrun limani ittaqa wala tuthlamoona fateelan

Have you not seen those to whom it was said: Withhold your hands, and keep up prayer and pay the poor - rate; but when fighting is prescribed for them, lo! a party of them fear men as they ought to have feared Allah, or (even) with a greater fear, and say: Our Lord! why hast Thou ordained fighting for us? Wherefore didst Thou not grant us a delay to a near end? Say: The provision of this world is short, and the hereafter is better for him who guards (against evil); and you shall not be wronged the husk of a date stone.

তোমরা যেখানেই অবস্থান করো না কেন, মউত তোমাদের নাগাল পাবেই, এমনকি তোমরা উঁচু মজবুত দুর্গে অবস্থান করলেও। তাদের কোনো কল্যাণ হলে তারা বলে: ‘এটা হয়েছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে। আর কোনো অকল্যাণ হলে বলে: এটা হয়েছে তোমার কারণে।’ তুমি বলো: ‘সবই আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে।’ এই লোকদের কী হলো, তারা যে কোনো কথাই বুঝেনা!
Transliteration
Aynama takoonoo yudrikkumu almawtu walaw kuntum fee buroojin mushayyadatin wain tusibhum hasanatun yaqooloo hathihi min AAindi Allahi wain tusibhum sayyiatun yaqooloo hathihi min AAindika qul kullun min AAindi Allahi famali haolai alqawmi la yakadoona yafqahoona hadeethan

Wherever you are, death will overtake you, though you are in lofty towers, and if a benefit comes to them, they say: This is from Allah; and if a misfortune befalls them, they say: This is from you. Say: All is from Allah, but what is the matter with these people that they do not make approach to understanding what is told (them)?

তুমি যা কিছু কল্যাণ লাভ করো তা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকেই, আর তোমার যা কিছু অকল্যাণ হয়, তা হয় তোমার নিজের কারণে। আমরা তোমাকে মানুষের জন্যে পাঠিয়েছি একজন রসূল হিসেবে। আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট সাক্ষী হিসেবে।
Transliteration
Ma asabaka min hasanatin famina Allahi wama asabaka min sayyiatin famin nafsika waarsalnaka lilnnasi rasoolan wakafa biAllahi shaheedan
Shakir
Whatever benefit comes to you (O man!), it is from Allah, and whatever misfortune befalls you, it is from yourself, and We have sent you (O Prophet!), to mankind as an apostle; and Allah is sufficient as a witness.

যে রসূলের আনুগত্য করলো, সে আল্লাহরই আনুগত্য করলো। আর যারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় আমরা তোমাকে তাদের উপর রক্ষক নিযুক্ত করিনি।
Transliteration
Man yutiAAi alrrasoola faqad ataAAa Allaha waman tawalla fama arsalnaka AAalayhim hafeethan
Shakir
Whoever obeys the Apostle, he indeed obeys Allah, and whoever turns back, so We have not sent you as a keeper over them.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা বলে: ‘আমরা আনুগত্য করি।’ তারপর তোমার কাছ থেকে চলে গেলে রাতে তাদের একদল লোক তাদের কথার বিপরীত পরামর্শ করে। তারা রাতে যা সলাপরামর্শ করে তা লিখে রাখেন। সুতরাং তুমি তাদের উপেক্ষা করো এবং আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করো। উকিল হিসেবে আল্লাহই কাফী (যথেষ্ট)।
And they say: Obedience. But when they go out from your presence, a party of them decide by night upon doing otherwise than what you say; and Allah writes down what they decide by night, therefore turn aside from them and trust in Allah, and Allah is sufficient as a protector.

তারা কি কুরআন সম্পর্কে চিন্তা - গবেষণা করেনা? এ কুরআন যদি ছাড়া আর কারো পক্ষ থেকে আসতো, তবে অবশ্যি তারা এতে পেতো অনেক সাংঘর্ষিক কথা।
Transliteration
Afala yatadabbaroona alqurana walaw kana min AAindi ghayri Allahi lawajadoo feehi ikhtilafan katheeran

Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখনই তাদের কাছে শান্তি বা ত্রাসের কোনো সংবাদ আসে, তারা তা প্রচার করে বেড়ায়। তারা যদি (তা না করে) সেটা রসূল বা তাদের দায়িত্বশীলদের গোচরে আনতো, তবে তাদের মাঝে যারা উদ্ভাবনী যোগ্যতার অধিকারী তারা এর যথার্থতা অনুধাবন করতে পারতো। তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ এবং রহমত না থাকলে তোমাদের স্বল্প সংখ্যক ছাড়া বাকিরা শয়তানের অনুসরণ করতো।
Transliteration
Waitha jaahum amrun mina alamni awi alkhawfi athaAAoo bihi walaw raddoohu ila alrrasooli waila olee alamri minhum laAAalimahu allatheena yastanbitoonahu minhum walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu laittabaAAtumu alshshaytana illa qaleelan

And when there comes to them news of security or fear they spread it abroad; and if they had referred it to the Apostle and to those in authority among them, those among them who can search out the knowledge of it would have known it, and were it not for the grace of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have certainly followed the Shaitan save a few

সুতরাং তোমরা লড়াই করো আল্লাহর পথে। তোমাকে দায়ী করা হবে শুধু তোমার নিজের জন্যে। মুমিনদের উৎসাহ দিয়ে যাও। হয়তো কাফিরদের শক্তি নিবারণ করবেন। আল্লাহই প্রবল শক্তিধর এবং কঠোরতর শাস্তিদাতা।
Transliteration
Faqatil fee sabeeli Allahi la tukallafu illa nafsaka waharridi almumineena AAasa Allahu an yakuffa basa allatheena kafaroo waAllahu ashaddu basan waashaddu tankeelan
Shakir
Fight then in Allah's way; this is not imposed on you except In relation to yourself, and rouse the believers to ardor maybe Allah will restrain the fighting of those who disbelieve and Allah is strongest in prowess and strongest to give an exemplary punishment.

যে কেউ ভালো কাজের সুপারিশ করবে, তার পুরস্কারে তার অংশ থাকবে। আর যে কেউ মন্দ কাজের সুপারিশ করবে, তাতেও তার অংশ থাকবে। প্রতিটি বিষয়ে দৃষ্টি রাখেন।
Whoever joins himself (to another) in a good cause shall have a share of it, and whoever joins himself (to another) in an evil cause shall have the responsibility of it, and Allah controls all things.

যখন তোমাদের অভিবাদন করা হয়, তখন তোমরাও তার চাইতে উত্তম অভিবাদনে তার জবাব দাও, অথবা অন্তত অনুরূপ জবাব দাও। নিশ্চয়ই প্রতিটি বিষয়ের হিসাব গ্রহণ করবেন।
Transliteration
Waithahuyyeetum bitahiyyatin fahayyoo biahsana minha aw ruddooha inna Allaha kana AAala kulli shayin haseeban
Shakir
And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet with a better (greeting) than it or return it; surely Allah takes account of all things.

, তিনি ছাড়া আর কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই। তিনি কিয়ামতের দিন তোমাদের অবশ্যি জমা করবেন, এতে কোনো প্রকার সন্দেহ নেই। আল্লাহর চেয়ে বড় সত্যবাদী আর কে?
Transliteration
Allahu la ilaha illa huwa layajmaAAannakum ila yawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi waman asdaqu mina Allahi hadeethan

Allah, there is no god but He - - He will most certainly gather you together on the resurrection day, there is no doubt in it; and who is more true in word than Allah?

তোমাদের কী হলো, মুনাফিকদের ব্যাপারে যে তোমরা দুই দল হয়ে গেলে? অথচ তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে তাদেরকে পূর্বের অবস্থায় ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছেন। যাকে গোমরাহ করেছেন, তোমরা কি তাকে হিদায়াতের পথে চালাতে চাও? যাকে গোমরাহ্ করে দেন, তুমি তার জন্যে কখনো কোনো পথ পাবেনা।
Transliteration
Fama lakum fee almunafiqeena fiatayni waAllahu arkasahum bima kasaboo atureedoona an tahdoo man adalla Allahu waman yudlili Allahu falan tajida lahu sabeelan
Shakir
What is the matter with you, then, that you have become two parties about the hypocrites, while Allah has made them return (to unbelief) for what they have earned? Do you wish to guide him whom Allah has caused to err? And whomsoever Allah causes to err, you shall by no means find a way for him.

তারা কামনা করে তোমরা যেনো কুফুরি করো, যেমন তারা কুফুরি করেছে, যাতে করে তোমরা তাদের বরাবর হয়ে যাও। সুতরাং আল্লাহর পথে হিজরত না করা পর্যন্ত তাদের কাউকেও অলি (বন্ধু) হিসেবে গ্রহণ করোনা। তারা যদি অস্বীকার করে, তবে তাদের যেখানে পাবে, গ্রেফতার করবে এবং হত্যা করবে। আর তাদের কাউকেও অলি (বন্ধু) এবং সাহায্যকারী হিসেবে গ্রহণ করোনা।
Transliteration
Waddoo law takfuroona kama kafaroo fatakoonoona sawaan fala tattakhithoo minhum awliyaa hatta yuhajiroo fee sabeeli Allahi fain tawallaw fakhuthoohum waoqtuloohum haythu wajadtumoohum wala tattakhithoo minhum waliyyan wala naseeran
Shakir
They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.

তবে তাদেরকে নয়, যারা এমন জনগোষ্ঠীর সাথে সম্পর্ক রাখে, যাদের সাথে তোমরা চুক্তিবদ্ধ, অথবা যারা তোমাদের কাছে এমন অবস্থায় আসে যখন তাদের মন থাকে তোমাদের সাথে, কিংবা তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে তারা সংকোচ বোধ করে। চাইলে তিনি তাদেরকে তোমাদের উপর ক্ষমতাবান করে দিতেন এবং তারা অবশ্যি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতো। এখন যদি তারা তোমাদের থেকে সরে দাঁড়ায়, তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ না করে এবং তোমাদের কাছে শান্তির প্রস্তাব দেয়, তবে তোমাদের জন্যে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের কোনো পথ রাখেননি।
Transliteration
Illa allatheena yasiloona ila qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun aw jaookum hasirat sudooruhum an yuqatilookum aw yuqatiloo qawmahum walaw shaa Allahu lasallatahum AAalaykum falaqatalookum faini iAAtazalookum falam yuqatilookum waalqaw ilaykumu alssalama fama jaAAala Allahu lakum AAalayhim sabeelan

Except those who reach a people between whom and you there is an alliance, or who come to you, their hearts shrinking from fighting you or fighting their own people; and if Allah had pleased, He would have given them power over you, so that they should have certainly fought you; therefore if they withdraw from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not given you a way against them.

তোমরা অপর এমন কিছু লোক পাবে, যারা তোমাদের সাথে এবং তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের সাথে শান্তি চাইবে। যখন তাদেরকে ফিতনার দিকে আহবান করা হয়, তখনই তারা এ ব্যাপারে তাদের পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরে যাবে। যদি তারা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে চলে না যায় এবং তোমাদের কাছে শান্তির প্রস্তাব না দেয় এবং তাদের হাত গুটিয়ে না রাখে, তবে তাদের যেখানেই পাবে গ্রেফতার করবে এবং হত্যা করবে। আমরা তোমাদেরকে এদের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থানের সুস্পষ্ট অধিকার দিলাম।
You will find others who desire that they should be safe from you and secure from their own people; as often as they are sent back to the mischief they get thrown into it headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and (do not) offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these We have given you a clear authority.

কোনো মুমিনের জন্যে অপর মুমিনকে হত্যা করা বৈধ নয়, তবে ভুলবশত করলে ভিন্ন কথা। কেউ যদি ভুলবশত কোনো মুমিনকে হত্যা করে, তাহলে এর বিধান হলো, একজন দাসকে মুক্ত করা এবং নিহতের পরিবারবর্গকে গ্রহণযোগ্য মুক্তিপণ প্রদান করা, যদি তারা ক্ষমা করে না দেয়। আর যদি নিহত ব্যক্তি তোমাদের শত্রুপক্ষের লোক হয় এবং হয় তবে এক দাস মুক্ত করবে। আর যদি সে এমন কোনো সম্প্রদায়ের লোক হয় যাদের সাথে তোমরা চুক্তিবদ্ধ, তবে তাদের পরিবারবর্গকে গ্রহণযোগ্য মুক্তিপণ প্রদান করবে এবং একজন দাস মুক্ত করবে। কিন্তু কারো যদি সঙ্গতি না থাকে তবে লাগাতার দুইমাস রোযা রাখবে। এটাই আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে তওবা করার ব্যবস্থা, আর সর্বজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাবান।
Transliteration
Wama kana limuminin an yaqtula muminan illa khataan waman qatala muminan khataan fatahreeru raqabatin muminatin wadiyatun musallamatun ila ahlihi illa an yassaddaqoo fain kana min qawmin AAaduwwin lakum wahuwa muminun fatahreeru raqabatin muminatin wain kana min qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun fadiyatun musallamatun ila ahlihi watahreeru raqabatin muminatin faman lam yajid fasiyamu shahrayni mutatabiAAayni tawbatan mina Allahi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman

And it does not behoove a believer to kill a believer except by mistake, and whoever kills a believer by mistake, he should free a believing slave, and blood - money should be paid to his people unless they remit it as alms; but if he be from a tribe hostile to you and he is a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (suffices), and if he is from a tribe between whom and you there is a convenant, the blood - money should be paid to his people along with the freeing of a believing slave; but he who cannot find (a slave) should fast for two months successively: a penance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing, Wise.

আর কেউ যদি কোনো মুমিনকে ইচ্ছাকৃত হত্যা করে, তবে তার শাস্তি হলো জাহান্নাম, সে চিরকাল সেখানেই থাকবে। তার প্রতি রুষ্ট এবং তিনি তাকে অভিশাপ দেন, আর তার জন্যে তিনি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন বিশাল আযাব।
And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is hell; he shall abide in it, and Allah will send His wrath on him and curse him and prepare for him a painful chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা যখন আল্লাহর পথে রওয়ানা করবে, তখন পরীক্ষা করে নেবে (কে বন্ধু, কে শত্রু)। কেউ তোমাদের সালাম করলে দুনিয়ার স্বার্থ কামনায় তাকে বলো না: ‘তুমি নও।’ তোমরা যদি পার্থিব জীবনের স্বার্থ হাসিল করতে চাও, তবে আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে অনেক গনিমত। তোমরাও তো আগে এরকমই ছিলে, তারপর তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন। সুতরাং তোমরা পরীক্ষা করে নেবে। তোমরা যা করো, নিশ্চয়ই সে বিষয়ে খবর রাখেন।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ithadarabtum fee sabeeli Allahi fatabayyanoo wala taqooloo liman alqa ilaykumu alssalama lasta muminan tabtaghoona AAarada alhayati alddunya faAAinda Allahi maghanimu katheeratun kathalika kuntum min qablu famanna Allahu AAalaykum fatabayyanoo inna Allaha kana bima taAAmaloona khabeeran

O you who believe! when you go to war in Allah's way, make investigation, and do not say to any one who offers you peace: You are not a believer. Do you seek goods of this world's life! But with Allah there are abundant gains; you too were such before, then Allah conferred a benefit on you; therefore make investigation; surely Allah is aware of what you do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মুমিনদের মধ্যে যারা অক্ষম না হওয়া সত্ত্বেও ঘরে বসে থাকে, তারা আর যারা নিজেদের ধনমাল এবং জান প্রাণ দিয়ে আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করে তারা সমান নয়। যারা নিজেদের ধনমাল এবং জানপ্রাণ দিয়ে আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করে তাদেরকে ঘরে বসে থাকাদের উপর মর্যাদা দিয়েছেন। তবে প্রত্যেককেই কল্যাণের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। যারা ঘরে বসে থাকে, তাদের উপর মুজাহিদদের মহাপুরস্কারের ক্ষেত্রে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছেন।
The holders back from among the believers, not having any injury, and those who strive hard in Allah's way with their property and their persons are not equal; Allah has made the strivers with their property and their persons to excel the holders back a (high) degree, and to each (class) Allah has promised good; and Allah shall grant to the strivers above the holders back a mighty reward:

তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মর্যাদা, ক্ষমা ও রহমত। আর তো পরম ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়াবান।
(High) degrees from Him and protection and mercy, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিজেদের প্রতি যুলুম করতে থাকা লোকদের যখন ফেরেশতারা ওফাত ঘটাতে আসে, তারা বলে: ‘তোমরা কী অবস্থার মধ্যে ছিলে?’ তখন তারা বলে: ‘আমরা দেশে দুর্বল অসহায় ছিলাম।’ তখন তারা বলে: ‘কেন আল্লাহর পৃথিবী কি প্রশস্ত ছিলনা যেখানে তোমরা হিজরত করতে পারতে?’ এরাই সেইসব লোক যাদের আবাস হবে জাহান্নাম আর সেটা কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট আবাস!
Surely (as for) those whom the angels cause to die while they are unjust to their souls, they shall say: In what state were you? They shall say: We were weak in the earth. They shall say: Was not Allah's earth spacious, so that you should have migrated therein? So these it is whose abode is hell, and it is an evil resort
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তবে সেসব লোকেরা নয়, যেসব দুর্বল পুরুষ, নারী ও শিশুরা কোনো উপায় অবলম্বনের সামর্থ রাখেনা এবং কোনো পথও খুঁজে পায়না।
Transliteration
Illa almustadAAafeena mina alrrijali waalnnisai waalwildani la yastateeAAoona heelatan wala yahtadoona sabeelan
Shakir
Except the weak from among the men and the children who have not in their power the means nor can they find a way (to escape);
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা সেসব লোক, শীঘ্রি যাদের পাপ মুছে দেবেন, কারণ পাপ মোচনকারী, ক্ষমাশীল।
Transliteration
Faolaika AAasa Allahu an yaAAfuwa AAanhum wakana Allahu AAafuwwan ghafooran
Shakir
So these, it may be, Allah will pardon them, and Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে হিজরত করবে আল্লাহর পথে সে জগতে বহু আশ্রয়স্থল এবং প্রাচুর্য লাভ করবে। যে কেউ নিজের ঘর থেকে আল্লাহর ও তার রসূলের দিকে মুহাজির হিসেবে বের হবে, এ পথে তার মৃত্যু হলে তার পুরস্কারের দায়িত্ব আল্লাহর। তো পরম ক্ষমাশীল পরম দয়াময়।
And whoever flies in Allah's way, he will find in the earth many a place of refuge and abundant resources, and whoever goes forth from his house flying to Allah and His Apostle, and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা যখন ভ্রমণে বের হও, তখন যদি তোমরা আশংকা করো যে, কাফিররা তোমাদের জন্যে ফিতনা সৃষ্টি করবে, তবে কসর করলে তোমাদের কোনো দোষ হবেনা। নিশ্চয়ই কাফিররা তোমাদের সুস্পষ্ট দুশমন।
Transliteration
Waithadarabtum fee alardi falaysa AAalaykum junahun an taqsuroo mina alssalati in khiftum an yaftinakumu allatheena kafaroo inna alkafireena kanoo lakum AAaduwwan mubeenan
Shakir
And when you journey in the earth, there is no blame on you if you shorten the prayer, if you fear that those who disbelieve will cause you distress, surely the unbelievers are your open enemy.

(হে নবী!) যখন তুমি তাদের মাঝে থাকো এবং (যুদ্ধ ও ত্রাস চলাকালে) তাদের সাথে নিয়ে সালাতে দাঁড়াও, তখন তাদের মধ্য থেকে একটি গ্রুপ তোমার সাথে সালাতে দাঁড়াবে এবং তারা তাদের অস্ত্রশস্ত্র সাথে রাখবে। তারপর তারা সাজদা করে নিলে পেছনে গিয়ে অবস্থান নেবে এবং অপর গ্রুপ - যারা এখনো সালাতে অংশ নেয়নি এসে তোমার সাথে সালাতে অংশ নেবে। তারাও সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করবে এবং নিজেদের অস্ত্রশস্ত্র সাথে রাখবে। কারণ, কাফিররা তো চায়, তোমরা তোমাদের অস্ত্রশস্ত্র এবং মাল সামানের ব্যাপারে সামান্য গাফিল হলেই তারা তোমাদের উপর ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়বে। তবে, তোমরা যদি বৃষ্টির কারণে অসুবিধা বোধ করো, কিংবা অসুস্থ থাকো, তবে অস্ত্র রেখে দিলে কোনো অসুবিধা নেই, কিন্তু সতর্ক থাকবে। জেনে রাখো, কাফিরদের জন্যে প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছেন অপমানকর আযাব।
Transliteration
Waitha kunta feehim faaqamta lahumu alssalata faltaqum taifatun minhum maAAaka walyakhuthoo aslihatahum faitha sajadoo falyakoonoo min waraikum waltati taifatun okhra lam yusalloo falyusalloo maAAaka walyakhuthoo hithrahum waaslihatahum wadda allatheena kafaroo law taghfuloona AAan aslihatikum waamtiAAatikum fayameeloona AAalaykum maylatan wahidatan wala junaha AAalaykum in kana bikum athan min matarin aw kuntum marda an tadaAAoo aslihatakum wakhuthoo hithrakum inna Allaha aAAadda lilkafireena AAathaban muheenan
Shakir
And when you are among them and keep up the prayer for them, let a party of them stand up with you, and let them take their arms; then when they have prostrated themselves let them go to your rear, and let another party who have not prayed come forward and pray with you, and let them take their precautions and their arms; (for) those who disbelieve desire that you may be careless of your arms and your luggage, so that they may then turn upon you with a sudden united attack, and there is no blame on you, if you are annoyed with rain or if you are sick, that you lay down your arms, and take your precautions; surely Allah has prepared a disgraceful chastisement for the unbelievers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারপর যখন তোমরা সমাপ্ত করবে, তখন দাঁড়িয়ে, বসে এবং শুয়ে আল্লাহর যিকির করবে। তারপর যখন নিরাপদ বোধ করবে, তখন যথা নিয়মে আদায় করবে। নির্ধারিত সময়ে কায়েম করা মুমিনদের জন্যে এক লিখিত বিধান।
Transliteration
Faitha qadaytumu alssalata faothkuroo Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobikum faitha itmanantum faaqeemoo alssalata inna alssalata kanat AAala almumineena kitaban mawqootan
Shakir
Then when you have finished the prayer, remember Allah standing and sitting and reclining; but when you are secure (from danger) keep up prayer; surely prayer is a timed ordinance for the believers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
শত্রু কওমের সন্ধানে তোমরা দুর্বলতা প্রদর্শন করোনা, যদি তোমরা যন্ত্রণা ভোগ করে থাকো তবে তারাও তোমাদের মতোই যন্ত্রণা পায়। আল্লাহর কাছে তোমরা এমন জিনিস আশা করো, যা তারা আশা করেনা। জ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাবান।
Transliteration
Wala tahinoo fee ibtighai alqawmi in takoonoo talamoona fainnahum yalamoona kama talamoona watarjoona mina Allahi ma la yarjoona wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman
Shakir
And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain, and you hope from Allah what they do not hope; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তোমার প্রতি সত্যতা ও বাস্তবতার নিরিখে নাযিল করেছি এই কিতাব, যাতে তোমাকে যে সঠিক পথ জানিয়েছেন সে অনুযায়ী মানুষের মাঝে বিচার ফায়সালা করে দিতে পারো। তুমি কখনো খিয়ানতকারীদের পক্ষে বিতর্ক করোনা।
Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has taught you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করো, কারণ পরম ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াবান।
Transliteration
Waistaghfiri Allaha inna Allaha kana ghafooran raheeman
Shakir
And ask forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা নিজেদের সাথে খিয়ানত করে, তুমি তাদের পক্ষে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হয়োনা। নিশ্চয়ই কোনো খেয়ানতকারী পাপীকে পছন্দ করেন না।
Transliteration
Wala tujadil AAani allatheena yakhtanoona anfusahum inna Allaha la yuhibbu man kana khawwanan atheeman
Shakir
And do not plead on behalf of those who act unfaithfully to their souls; surely Allah does not love him who is treacherous, sinful;
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা মানুষ থেকে তাদের দুষ্কর্ম গোপন করতে চায়, কিন্তু আল্লাহর থেকে গোপন করতে পারেনা, তিনি তাদের সাথেই থাকেন রাত্রে যখন তারা তাঁর অপছন্দনীয় সলাপরামর্শ করে। তারা যা করে তা পরিবেষ্টন করে আছেন।
Transliteration
Yastakhfoona mina alnnasi wala yastakhfoona mina Allahi wahuwa maAAahum ith yubayyitoona ma la yarda mina alqawli wakana Allahu bima yaAAmaloona muheetan
Shakir
They hide themselves from men and do not hide themselves from Allah, and He is with them when they meditate by night words which please Him not, and Allah encompasses what they do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হ্যাঁ, তোমরা ইহজীবনে তাদের পক্ষে বিতর্ক করছো, কিন্তু কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহর সামনে কে বিতর্ক করবে তাদের পক্ষে? কিংবা কে হবে তাদের পক্ষে উকিল?
Transliteration
Haantum haolai jadaltum AAanhum fee alhayati alddunya faman yujadilu Allaha AAanhum yawma alqiyamati am man yakoonu AAalayhim wakeelan
Shakir
Behold! you are they who (may) plead for them in this world's life, but who will plead for them with Allah on the resurrection day, or who shall be their protector?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে কেউ পাপ কাজ করে, কিংবা নিজের প্রতি যুলুম করে আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করবে, সে আল্লাহকে ক্ষমাশীল দয়াবানই পাবে।
Transliteration
Waman yaAAmal sooan aw yathlim nafsahu thumma yastaghfiri Allaha yajidi Allaha ghafooran raheeman
Shakir
And whoever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে কেউ কামাই করবে পাপ, সে তা কামাই করবে নিজেরই বিরুদ্ধে। তো মহাজ্ঞানী প্রজ্ঞাবান।
And whoever commits a sin, he only commits it against his own soul; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে কেউ উপার্জন করবে অপরাধ বা পাপ, পরে তা কোনো নির্দোষ ব্যক্তির প্রতি আরোপ করবে, সে তো বহন করবে মিথ্যা অপবাদ এবং সুস্পষ্ট পাপের বোঝা।
Transliteration
Waman yaksib khateeatan aw ithman thumma yarmi bihi bareean faqadi ihtamala buhtanan waithman mubeenan
Shakir
And whoever commits a fault or a sin, then accuses of it one innocent, he indeed takes upon himself the burden of a calumny and a manifest sin.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমার প্রতি যদি আল্লাহর ফজল (অনুগ্রহ) এবং রহমত (দয়া) না হতো, তাহলে তাদের একটি দল তোমাকে বিপথগামী করতে চাইতো। আসলে তারা তো নিজেদের ছাড়া আর কাউকেও পথভ্রষ্ট করেনা। তারা তোমার কোনো ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। তো তোমার প্রতি নাযিল করেছেন আল কিতাব (আল কুরআন) এবং হিকমাহ (কর্মকৌশল ও কার্যনির্বাহী জ্ঞান) আর তোমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন যা তুমি জানতে না। তোমার প্রতি আল্লাহর ফজল বিরাট।
Transliteration
Walawla fadlu Allahi AAalayka warahmatuhu lahammat taifatun minhum an yudillooka wama yudilloona illa anfusahum wama yadurroonaka min shayin waanzala Allahu AAalayka alkitaba waalhikmata waAAallamaka ma lam takun taAAlamu wakana fadlu Allahi AAalayka AAatheeman
Shakir
And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy a party of them had certainly designed to bring you to perdition and they do not bring (aught) to perdition but their own souls, and they shall not harm you in any way, and Allah has revealed to you the Book and the wisdom, and He has taught you what you did not know, and Allah's grace on you is very great.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের অধিকাংশ গোপন সলাপরামর্শে কোনো কল্যাণ নেই। তবে কল্যাণ থাকে (সেই ব্যক্তির গোপন পরামর্শে) যে নির্দেশ দেয় দান করার, ভালো কাজ করার কিংবা মানুষের মাঝে শান্তি স্থাপন করার। আল্লাহর সন্তোষ কামনায় কেউ যদি এসব কাজ করে, আমরা শীঘ্রি তাকে দান করবো মহাপু
Transliteration
La khayra fee katheerin min najwahum illa man amara bisadaqatin aw maAAroofin aw islahin bayna alnnasi waman yafAAal thalika ibtighaa mardati Allahi fasawfa nuteehi ajran AAatheeman
Shakir
There is no good in most of their secret counsels except (in his) who enjoins charity or goodness or reconciliation between people; and whoever does this seeking Allah's pleasure, We will give him a mighty reward.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কারো কাছে হিদায়াত (সত্যপথ) সুস্পষ্ট হবার পরও যদি সে রসূলের বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করে এবং মুমিনদের পথ ছাড়া অন্য পথ অবলম্বন করে, তাহলে সে যেদিকে মুখ ফিরিয়েছে আমরা তাকে সে দিকেই ফিরিয়ে দেবো এবং তাকে প্রবেশ করাবো জাহান্নামে, যা চরম নিকৃষ্ট আবাস।
Transliteration
Waman yushaqiqi alrrasoola min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahu alhuda wayattabiAA ghayra sabeeli almumineena nuwallihi ma tawalla wanuslihi jahannama wasaat maseeran
Shakir
And whoever acts hostilely to the Apostle after that guidance has become manifest to him, and follows other than the way of the believers, We will turn him to that to which he has (himself) turned and make him enter hell; and it is an evil resort.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিশ্চয়ই তাঁর সাথে শিরক করার পাপ ক্ষমা করবেন না, এ ছাড়া অন্যগুলো ক্ষমা করে দেবেন যাকে ইচ্ছা করবেন। যে কেউ আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করে সে তো পথহারা হয়ে চলে যায় বহু দূরে।
Transliteration
Inna Allaha la yaghfiru an yushraka bihi wayaghfiru ma doona thalika liman yashao waman yushrik biAllahi faqad dalla dalalan baAAeedan
Shakir
Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and He forgives what is besides this to whom He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he indeed strays off into a remote error.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা তো আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে দেবীর এবং বিদ্রোহী শয়তানেরই পূজা করে।
Transliteration
In yadAAoona min doonihi illa inathan wain yadAAoona illa shaytanan mareedan
Shakir
They do not call besides Him on anything but idols, and they do not call on anything but a rebellious Shaitan.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তার প্রতি আল্লাহর লানত। সে বলে: ‘‘আমি অবশ্যি তোমার বান্দাদের একটি নির্দিষ্ট অংশকে আমার তাবেদার বানিয়ে নেবো।
Transliteration
LaAAanahu Allahu waqala laattakhithanna min AAibadika naseeban mafroodan
Shakir
Allah has cursed him; and he said: Most certainly I will take of Thy servants an appointed portion:
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমি অবশ্যি তাদের পথভ্রষ্ট করবো, তাদের মনে মিথ্যা আকাংখা সৃষ্টি করবো, তারা আমার নির্দেশ মতো পশুর কান ছিদ্র করবে এবং আমি তাদের নির্দেশ দিয়ে যাবোই এবং তারা অবশ্যি আল্লাহর সৃষ্টিকে বিকৃত করতে থাকবে।’’ যে কেউ আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এই শয়তানকে অলি (বন্ধু ও পৃষ্ঠপোষক) হিসেবে গ্রহণ করবে, সে অবশ্যি নিমজ্জিত হবে সুস্পষ্ট ক্ষতির মধ্যে।
And most certainly I will lead them astray and excite in them vain desires, and bid them so that they shall slit the ears of the cattle, and most certainly I will bid them so that they shall alter Allah's creation; and whoever takes the Shaitan for a guardian rather than Allah he indeed shall suffer a manifest loss.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে তাদের ওয়াদা দেয় এবং তাদের মনে মিথ্যা বাসনা সৃষ্টি করে দেয়। আর শয়তানের ওয়াদা তো প্রতারণা ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়।
Transliteration
YaAAiduhum wayumanneehim wama yaAAiduhumu alshshaytanu illa ghurooran
Shakir
He gives them promises and excites vain desires in them; and the Shaitan does not promise them but to deceive.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এদের (শয়তানের অনুসারীদের) আবাস হবে জাহান্নাম এবং সেখান থেকে নিষ্কৃতির কোনো পথ তারা পাবেনা।
These are they whose abode is hell, and they shall not find any refuge from it.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
পক্ষান্তরে যারা ঈমান আনে এবং আমলে সালেহ্ করে, আমরা অবশ্যি তাদের দাখিল করবো জান্নাতে, যার নিচে দিয়ে বহমান থাকবে নদ নদী নহর। চিরকাল থাকবে তারা সেখানে। আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। কথার দিক থেকে আল্লাহর চাইতে সত্যবাদী আর কে?
And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will make them enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein for ever; (it is) a promise of Allah, true (indeed), and who is truer of word than Allah?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের খেয়াল খুশি কিংবা আহলে কিতাবের খেয়াল খুশি মতো কাজ হবেনা। যে মন্দ কাজ করবে, তার প্রতিফল সে পাবেই এবং সে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে কোনো অলি বা সাহায্যকারী পাবেনা।
Transliteration
Laysa biamaniyyikum wala amaniyyi ahli alkitabi man yaAAmal sooan yujza bihi wala yajid lahu min dooni Allahi waliyyan wala naseeran
Shakir
(This) shall not be in accordance with your vain desires nor in accordance with the vain desires of the followers of the Book; whoever does evil, he shall be requited with it, and besides Allah he will find for himself neither a guardian nor a helper.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে কোনো পুরুষ বা নারী অবস্থায় আমলে সালেহ্ করবে, তারা অবশ্যি দাখিল হবে জান্নাতে এবং তাদের প্রতি কণা পরিমাণও অবিচার করা হবেনা।
Transliteration
Waman yaAAmal mina alssalihati min thakarin aw ontha wahuwa muminun faolaika yadkhuloona aljannata wala yuthlamoona naqeeran
Shakir
And whoever does good deeds whether male or female and he (or she) is a believer - - these shall enter the garden, and they shall not be dealt with a jot unjustly.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
দীনের দিক থেকে ঐ ব্যক্তির চেয়ে উত্তম কে আছে, যে মুহসিন (পুণ্যবান) অবস্থায় আল্লাহর বাধ্যতা স্বীকার করে নিয়েছে এবং একনিষ্ঠভাবে ইবরাহিমের মিল্লাত (আদর্শ) অনুসরণ করেছে? আর তো ইবরাহিমকে নিজের বন্ধু হিসেবেই গ্রহণ করেছেন।
And who has a better religion than he who submits himself entirely to Allah? And he is the doer of good (to others) and follows the faith of Ibrahim, the upright one, and Allah took Ibrahim as a friend.

মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর, আর প্রতিটি বস্ত্তকেই পরিবেষ্টন করে রেখেছেন।
And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and Allah encompasses all things.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নারীদের ব্যাপারে তারা তোমার কাছে জানতে চাইছে। তুমি বলো তাদের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের ফতোয়া দিচ্ছেন, আর এতিম নারীদের ব্যাপারে, যাদের প্রাপ্য তোমরা পরিশোধ করোনা, অথচ তোমরা তাদের বিয়ে করতে চাও এবং অসহায় শিশুদের ব্যাপারে আর এতিমদের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের সুবিচার সম্পর্কে যা তোমাদের এই কিতাবে তিলাওয়াত করে শুনানো হয়, তা পরিষ্কারভাবে জানিয়ে দিচ্ছেন। আর তোমরা যে কোনো কল্যাণকর কাজই করোনা কেন, তা বিশেষভাবে জ্ঞাত।
Transliteration
Wayastaftoonaka fee alnnisai quli Allahu yufteekum feehinna wama yutla AAalaykum fee alkitabi fee yatama alnnisai allatee la tutoonahunna ma kutiba lahunna watarghaboona an tankihoohunna waalmustadAAafeena mina alwildani waan taqoomoo lilyatama bialqisti wama tafAAaloo min khayrin fainna Allaha kana bihi AAaleeman
Shakir
And they ask you a decision about women. Say: Allah makes known to you His decision concerning them, and that which is recited to you in the Book concerning female orphans whom you do not give what is appointed for them while you desire to marry them, and concerning the weak among children, and that you should deal towards orphans with equity; and whatever good you do, Allah surely knows it.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কোনো নারী যদি তার স্বামীর দুর্ব্যবহার কিংবা উপেক্ষার আশংকা করে, তবে তারা আপোস মীমাংসা করতে চাইলে তাদের কোনো দোষ হবেনা। তাছাড়া আপোস - মীমাংসাই উত্তম। লোভের কারণে মানুষ স্বভাবত কৃপণ। তোমরা যদি ইহ্সান করো এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, তবে জেনে রাখো, তোমরা যা করো তার খবর রাখেন।
Transliteration
Waini imraatun khafat min baAAliha nushoozan aw iAAradan fala junaha AAalayhima an yusliha baynahumasulhan waalssulhu khayrun waohdirati alanfusu alshshuhha wain tuhsinoo watattaqoo fainna Allaha kana bima taAAmaloona khabeeran
Shakir
And if a woman fears ill usage or desertion on the part of her husband, there is no blame on them, if they effect a reconciliation between them, and reconciliation is better, and avarice has been made to be present in the (people's) minds; and if you do good (to others) and guard (against evil), then surely Allah is aware of what you do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা যতোই আকাংখা করোনা কেন, তোমরা কিছুতেই স্ত্রীদের মাঝে সমান ব্যবহার করতে পারবে না। সুতরাং তোমরা কোনো একজনের দিকে পুরোপুরি ঝুঁকে পড়োনা এবং অন্যকে ঝুলন্ত অবস্থায় রেখে দিওনা। তোমরা যদি সংশোধন করে নাও এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, তবে নিশ্চয়ই পরম ক্ষমাশীল দয়াবান।
Transliteration
Walan tastateeAAoo an taAAdiloo bayna alnnisai walaw harastum fala tameeloo kulla almayli fatatharooha kaalmuAAallaqati wain tuslihoo watattaqoo fainna Allaha kana ghafooran raheeman
Shakir
And you have it not in your power to do justice between wives, even though you may wish (it), but be not disinclined (from one) with total disinclination, so that you leave her as it were in suspense; and if you effect a reconciliation and guard (against evil), then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যদি তারা (স্বামী স্ত্রী) পরস্পর পৃথক হয়েই যায়, তবে তাঁর অসীম ভান্ডার থেকে দান করে তাদের প্রত্যেককে অভাবমুক্ত করবেন। আর তো প্রাচুর্যশালী প্রজ্ঞাবান।
And if they separate, Allah will render them both free from want out of His ampleness, and Allah is Ample - giving, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর। ইতোপূর্বে যাদের কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাদেরকে এবং বিশেষভাবে তোমাদেরকে আমরা অসিয়ত (নির্দেশ) করছি: ‘তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো।’ তোমরা যদি এটা অস্বীকার করো, তবে জেনে রাখো, নিশ্চয়ই মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর এবং মুখাপেক্ষাহীন সপ্রশংসিত।
Transliteration
Walillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi walaqad wassayna allatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum waiyyakum ani ittaqoo Allaha wain takfuroo fainna lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi wakana Allahu ghaniyyan hameedan
Shakir
And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's and certainly We enjoined those who were given the Book before you and (We enjoin) you too that you should be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and if you disbelieve, then surely whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's and Allah is Self - sufficient, Praise - worthy.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর, আর উকিল (কর্মসম্পাদক) হিসেবে আল্লাহই কাফী (যথেষ্ট)।
Transliteration
Walillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi wakafa biAllahi wakeelan
Shakir
And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's, and Allah is sufficient as a Protector.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে মানুষ! তিনি চাইলে তোমাদের অপসারিত করে অন্যদের নিয়ে আসতে পারেন। একাজ করতে সম্পূর্ণ সক্ষম।
If He please, He can make you pass away, O people! and bring others; and Allah has the power to do this.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কেউ যদি (শুধু) দুনিয়ার সওয়াব (পুরস্কার) চায়, তবে সে জেনে রাখুক, আল্লাহর কাছে দুনিয়া এবং উভয় স্থানের সওয়াবই (পুরস্কারই) রয়েছে। সব কিছু শুনেন, সব কিছু দেখেন।
Transliteration
Man kana yureedu thawaba alddunya faAAinda Allahi thawabu alddunya waalakhirati wakana Allahu sameeAAan baseeran

Whoever desires the reward of this world, then with Allah is the reward of this world and the hereafter; and Allah is Hearing, Seeing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা সুবিচারের উপর মজবুত হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকো আল্লাহর সাক্ষী হিসেবে, তা যদি তোমাদের নিজেদের, কিংবা তোমাদের পিতা - মাতা বা নিকটজনের বিরুদ্ধেও যায়। সে বিত্তবান হোক কিংবা অভাবী, তাদের উভয়েরই ঘনিষ্ঠতর। সুতরাং তোমরা সুবিচার করতে গিয়ে খেয়াল খুশির অনুগামী হয়োনা। তোমরা যদি পেঁচালো কথা বলো, কিংবা পাশ কাটিয়ে যাও, তবে জেনে রাখো, তোমরা যা করো সে বিষয়ে খবর রাখেন।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo koonoo qawwameena bialqisti shuhadaa lillahi walaw AAala anfusikum awi alwalidayni waalaqrabeena in yakun ghaniyyan aw faqeeran faAllahu awla bihima fala tattabiAAoo alhawa an taAAdiloo wain talwoo aw tuAAridoo fainna Allaha kana bima taAAmaloona khabeeran
Shakir
O you who believe! be maintainers of justice, bearers of witness of Allah's sake, though it may be against your own selves or (your) parents or near relatives; if he be rich or poor, Allah is nearer to them both in compassion; therefore do not follow (your) low desires, lest you deviate; and if you swerve or turn aside, then surely Allah is aware of what you do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা ঈমান আনো আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি, আর সেই কিতাবের প্রতি যা তিনি নাযিল করেছেন তাঁর রসূলের কাছে এবং ঐ কিতাবের প্রতিও যা তিনি নাযিল করেছেন তার পূর্বে। যে কেউ কুফুরি করবে আল্লাহর প্রতি, তাঁর ফেরেশতাদের প্রতি, তাঁর কিতাবসমূহের প্রতি, তাঁর রসূলদের প্রতি এবং পরকালের প্রতি, সে তো বিপথগামী হয়ে চলে যাবে বহু দূর।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo aminoo biAllahi warasoolihi waalkitabi allathee nazzala AAala rasoolihi waalkitabi allathee anzala min qablu waman yakfur biAllahi wamalaikatihi wakutubihi warusulihi waalyawmi alakhiri faqad dalla dalalan baAAeedan
Shakir
O you who believe! believe in Allah and His Apostle and the Book which He has revealed to His Apostle and the Book which He revealed before; and whoever disbelieves in Allah and His angels and His apostles and the last day, he indeed strays off into a remote error.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ঈমান এনেছে, তারপর কুফুরি করেছে, তারপর ঈমান এনেছে, তারপরও কুফুরি করেছে, তারপর কুফুরিতে অগ্রসর হয়েছে। কিছুতেই তাদের ক্ষমা করবেন না এবং তাদেরকে সঠিক পথও দেখাবেন না।
Surely (as for) those who believe then disbelieve, again believe and again disbelieve, then increase in disbelief, Allah will not forgive them nor guide them in the (right) path.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মুনাফিকদের সুসংবাদ দাও, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Those who take the unbelievers for guardians rather than believers. Do they seek honor from them? Then surely all honor is for Allah.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তিনি তো তোমাদের জন্যে কিতাবে একথা আগেই নাযিল করেছেন যে, তোমরা যখন শুনবে আল্লাহর আয়াত অস্বীকার করা হচ্ছে এবং তা নিয়ে বিদ্রূপ করা হচ্ছে, তখন তোমরা তাদের সাথে বসবেনা যতোক্ষণ না তারা অন্য প্রসঙ্গে চলে যাবে। তা না হলে তোমরাও তাদের অনুরূপ বলে গণ্য হবে। মুনাফিক এবং কাফিরদের জাহান্নামে একত্র করবেন।
Transliteration
Waqad nazzala AAalaykum fee alkitabi an itha samiAAtum ayati Allahi yukfaru biha wayustahzao biha fala taqAAudoo maAAahum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethin ghayrihi innakum ithan mithluhum inna Allaha jamiAAu almunafiqeena waalkafireena fee jahannama jameeAAan
Shakir
And indeed He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah's communications disbelieved in and mocked at do not sit with them until they enter into some other discourse; surely then you would be like them; surely Allah will gather together the hypocrites and the unbelievers all in hell.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা তোমাদের অকল্যাণের অপেক্ষায় থাকে, তারপর যখনই আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের বিজয় অর্জিত হয়, তখন তারা বলে: ‘আমরা কি তোমাদের সাথে ছিলাম না?’ আর যদি কাফিরদের আংশিক বিজয় হয়, তখন তারা বলে: ‘আমরা কি তোমাদের পরিবেষ্টন করে রাখিনি এবং মুমিনদের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করিনি?’ কিয়ামতের দিনই তোমাদের মাঝে ফয়সালা করে দেবেন। কখনো মুমিনদের বিরুদ্ধে কাফিরদের কোনো পথ করে দেবেন না।
Transliteration
Allatheena yatarabbasoona bikum fain kana lakum fathun mina Allahi qaloo alam nakun maAAakum wain kana lilkafireena naseebun qaloo alam nastahwith AAalaykum wanamnaAAkum mina almumineena faAllahu yahkumu baynakum yawma alqiyamati walan yajAAala Allahu lilkafireena AAala almumineena sabeelan
Shakir
Those who wait for (some misfortune to befall) you then If you have a victory from Allah they say: Were we not with you? And if there is a chance for the unbelievers, they say: Did we not acquire the mastery over you and defend you from the believers? So Allah shall Judge between you on the day of resurrection, and Allah will by no means give the unbelievers a way against the believers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মুনাফিকরা আল্লাহর সাথে ধোকাবাজি করে। আসলে তিনিই তাদের ধোকায় ফেলে রেখেছেন। তারা যখন সালাতের উদ্দেশ্যে দাঁড়ায়, তখন আলস্যের সাথে দাঁড়ায়। তারা সালাতে আসে লোক দেখানোর জন্যে এবং খুব কমই তারা আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করে।
Transliteration
Inna almunafiqeena yukhadiAAoona Allaha wahuwa khadiAAuhum waitha qamoo ila alssalati qamoo kusala yuraoona alnnasa wala yathkuroona Allaha illa qaleelan
Shakir
Surely the hypocrites strive to deceive Allah, and He shall requite their deceit to them, and when they stand up to prayer they stand up sluggishly; they do it only to be seen of men and do not remember Allah save a little.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা দোটানায় দোদুল্যমান থাকে, না এদের দিকে, না ওদের দিকে। যাকে গোমরাহ করে দেন, তুমি তার জন্যে কোনো পথ পাবেনা।
Transliteration
Muthabthabeena bayna thalika la ila haolai wala ila haolai waman yudlili Allahu falan tajida lahu sabeelan
Shakir
Wavering between that (and this), (belonging) neither to these nor to those; and whomsoever Allah causes to err, you shall not find a way for him.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা মুমিনদের পরিবর্তে কাফিরদের অলি হিসেবে গ্রহণ করোনা। তোমরা কি আল্লাহকে তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ দিতে চাও?
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo alkafireena awliyaa min dooni almumineena atureedoona an tajAAaloo lillahi AAalaykum sultanan mubeenan
Shakir
O you who believe! do not take the unbelievers for friends rather than the believers; do you desire that you should give to Allah a manifest proof against yourselves?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিশ্চয়ই মুনাফিকরা থাকবে জাহান্নামের সর্বনিম্ন স্তরে। তুমি তাদের জন্যে কোনো সাহায্যকারী পাবেনা।
Surely the hypocrites are in the lowest stage of the fire and you shall not find a helper for them.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তবে যারা তওবা করে, নিজেদেরকে সংশোধন করে নেয়, আল্লাহকে দৃঢ়ভাবে আঁকড়ে ধরে এবং আল্লাহর জন্যে নিজেদের দীনকে একনিষ্ঠ করে নেয়, তারা মুমিনদের সাথে থাকবে। শীঘ্রি মুমিনদের দান করবেন মহাপুরস্কার।
Except those who repent and amend and hold fast to Allah and are sincere in their religion to Allah, these are with the believers, and Allah will grant the believers a mighty reward.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা যদি শোকর আদায় করো এবং ঈমান রাখো, তাহলে তোমাদের শাস্তি দিয়ে আল্লাহর কী কাজ? তো কৃতজ্ঞতার মর্যাদাদানকারী সর্বজ্ঞানী।
Transliteration
Ma yafAAalu Allahu biAAathabikum in shakartum waamantum wakana Allahu shakiran AAaleeman

Why should Allah chastise you if you are grateful and believe? And Allah is the Multiplier of rewards, Knowing
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মনদ ও পাপের কথার প্রচারণা পছন্দ করেন না, তবে যার প্রতি যুলুম করা হয়েছে, তার কথা ভিন্ন। সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।
Transliteration
La yuhibbu Allahu aljahra bialssooi mina alqawli illa man thulima wakana Allahu sameeAAan AAaleeman
Shakir
Allah does not love the public utterance of hurtful speech unless (it be) by one to whom injustice has been done; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা যদি কল্যাণের কাজ প্রকাশ করো, কিংবা তা গোপন করো, অথবা যদি দোষ ক্ষমা করে দাও, তবে জেনে রাখো, পাপ ক্ষমাকারী শক্তিমান।
Transliteration
In tubdoo khayran aw tukhfoohu aw taAAfoo AAan sooin fainna Allaha kana AAafuwwan qadeeran
Shakir
If you do good openly or do it in secret or pardon an evil then surely Allah is Pardoning, Powerful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা কুফুরি করে আল্লাহর প্রতি, তাঁর রসূলদের প্রতি আর ও তাঁর রসূলদের মধ্যে ফারাক সৃষ্টি করে দিতে চায় এবং বলে: ‘আমরা কিছু মানি, আর কিছু মানি না’ আর তারা এ দুয়ের মধ্যবর্তী কোনো পথ অবলম্বন করতে চায়,
Surely those who disbelieve in Allah and His apostles and (those who) desire to make a distinction between Allah and His apostles and say: We believe in some and disbelieve in others, and desire to take a course between (this and) that.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারাই আসল । আর আমরা কাফিরদের জন্যে প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি অপমানকর আযাব।
These it is that are truly unbelievers, and We have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যারা ঈমান আনে আল্লাহর প্রতি, তাঁর রসূলদের প্রতি এবং তাদের কারো মধ্যে কোনো ফারাক করেনা, অচিরেই এদের তিনি পুরস্কার দেবেন তাদের প্রাপ্য পুরস্কার, এবং ক্ষমাশীল দয়াময়।
And those who believe in Allah and His apostles and do not make a distinction between any of them - - Allah will grant them their rewards; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আহলে কিতাবের লোকেরা তোমার কাছে দাবি করে, তুমি যেনো আসমান থেকে তাদের জন্যে একটি কিতাব নাযিল করো। মূসার কাছে তারা এর চাইতেও বড় জিনিস দাবি করেছিল। তারা (মূসাকে) বলেছিল: ‘আমাদেরকে প্রকাশ্যে আল্লাহকে দেখাও’। তাদের এই সীমালংঘনের কারণে বজ্রাঘাতে তারা মারা পড়েছিল। তারপরেও তারা গরুর বাছুরকে দেবতা হিসেবে গ্রহণ করেছিল তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি আসার পর। তারপরও আমরা তাদের ক্ষমা করে দিয়েছিলাম এবং মূসাকে প্রদান করেছিলাম সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ।
Transliteration
Yasaluka ahlu alkitabi an tunazzila AAalayhim kitaban mina alssamai faqad saaloo moosa akbara min thalika faqaloo arina Allaha jahratan faakhathathumu alssaAAiqatu bithulmihim thumma ittakhathoo alAAijla min baAAdi ma jaathumu albayyinatu faAAafawna AAan thalika waatayna moosa sultanan mubeenan

The followers of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from heaven; so indeed they demanded of Musa a greater thing than that, for they said: Show us Allah manifestly; so the lightning overtook them on account of their injustice. Then they took the calf (for a god), after clear signs had come to them, but We pardoned this; and We gave to Musa clear authority.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তাদের থেকে অঙ্গীকার নেয়ার জন্যে তুর পাহাড়কে তাদের উপরে তুলে ধরেছিলাম এবং তাদের বলেছিলাম: ‘অবনত শিরে এই গেইট দিয়ে প্রবেশ করো।’ আমরা তাদের আরো বলেছিলাম: ‘শনিবারে বাড়াবাড়ি করোনা’। তাদের থেকে আমরা মজবুত অঙ্গীকার আদায় করেছিলাম।
And We lifted the mountain (Sainai) over them at (the taking of the covenant) and We said to them: Enter the door making obeisance; and We said to them: Do not exceed the limits of the Sabbath, and We made with them a firm covenant.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা অভিশপ্ত হয়েছে তাদের অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গের কারণে, আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ প্রত্যাখ্যান করার কারণে, অন্যায়ভাবে নবীদের হত্যা করার কারণে এবং তাদের এই কথার কারণে যে: ‘আমাদের অন্তর আচ্ছাদিত’। বরং তাদের কুফুরির কারণে তাদের অন্তর সীলমোহর করে দিয়েছেন। ফলে তারা আর ঈমান আনবে না, স্বল্প সংখ্যক ছাড়া।
Transliteration
Fabima naqdihim meethaqahum wakufrihim biayati Allahi waqatlihimu alanbiyaa bighayri haqqin waqawlihim quloobuna ghulfun bal tabaAAa Allahu AAalayha bikufrihim fala yuminoona illa qaleelan
Shakir
Therefore, for their breaking their covenant and their disbelief in the communications of Allah and their killing the prophets wrongfully and their saying: Our hearts are covered; nay! Allah set a seal upon them owing to their unbelief, so they shall not believe except a few.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা অভিশপ্ত হয়েছে তাদের কুফুরির কারণে এবং মরিয়মের উপর গুরুতর অপবাদ আরোপের কারণে।
And for their unbelief and for their having uttered against Marium a grievous calumny.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর তাদের এ কথার কারণেও যে, ‘আমরা আল্লাহর রসূল মরিয়মের পুত্র ঈসা মসিহ্কে হত্যা করেছি।’ অথচ তারা তাকে হত্যা করেনি, ক্রুশবিদ্ধও করেনি, বরং তাদের এ রকম বিভ্রম হয়েছিল। যারা তার সম্পর্কে মতভেদ করেছিল, তারা অবশ্যি এ বিষয়ে সংশয়ের মধ্যে ছিলো। অনুমানের অনুগামী হওয়া ছাড়া এ বিষয়ে তাদের কোনো জ্ঞানই ছিলনা। তারা যে তাকে হত্যা করেনি, তা নিশ্চিত।
And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
বরং তাকে তাঁর কাছে উঠিয়ে নিয়েছেন এবং মহাশক্তিধর, প্রজ্ঞাবান।
Transliteration
Bal rafaAAahu Allahu ilayhi wakana Allahu AAazeezan hakeeman
Shakir
Nay! Allah took him up to Himself; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আহলে কিতাবের প্রতিটি মানুষ অবশ্যি তার (ঈসার) প্রতি ঈমান আনবে তার মৃত্যুর আগে এবং কিয়ামতের দিন সে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষী হয়ে দাঁড়াবে।
Transliteration
Wain min ahli alkitabi illa layuminanna bihi qabla mawtihi wayawma alqiyamati yakoonu AAalayhim shaheedan
Shakir
And there is not one of the followers of the Book but most certainly believes in this before his death, and on the day of resurrection he (Isa) shall be a witness against them.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ইহুদিদের যুলুমের কারণে আমরা তাদের জন্যে হারাম করে দিয়েছি ভালো ভালো সেসব জিনিস, যা তাদের জন্যে হালাল ছিলো এবং আল্লাহর পথে যে তারা অনেককে বাধা দেয় সে কারণে।
Wherefore for the iniquity of those who are Jews did We disallow to them the good things which had been made lawful for them and for their hindering many (people) from Allah's way.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাছাড়া তাদের সুদ গ্রহণের কারণে, যা থেকে তাদের নিষেধ করা হয়েছিল। আর অন্যায়ভাবে মানুষের অর্থসম্পদ গ্রাস করার করণে। আমরা কাফিরদের জন্যে তৈরি করে রেখেছি বেদানাদায়ক আযাব।
And their taking usury though indeed they were forbidden it and their devouring the property of people falsely, and We have prepared for the unbelievers from among them a painful chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের মধ্যে যারা জ্ঞানে গভীরতা রাখে তারা এবং মুমিনরা ঈমান রাখে যা আমরা তোমার প্রতি নাযিল করেছি সেটার প্রতি এবং যা আমরা তোমার আগে নাযিল করেছি তার প্রতিও। তারা কায়েমকারী, যাকাত প্রদানকারী এবং ও পরকালের প্রতি ঈমান পোষণকারী। আমরা এদের শীঘ্রি প্রদান করবো মহাপুরস্কার।
But the firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been revealed to. you and what was revealed before you, and those who keep up prayers and those who give the poor - rate and the believers in Allah and the last day, these it is whom We will give a mighty reward.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তোমার কাছে অহি পাঠিয়েছি, যেমন পাঠিয়েছিলাম নূহের কাছে এবং তার পরের নবীদের কাছে, ইবরাহিম, ইসমাঈল, ইয়াকুব ও তার বংশধরদের কাছে এবং ঈসা, আইউব, ইউনুস, হারূণ ও সুলাইমানের কাছে, আর আমরা দাউদকে দিয়েছিলাম যবুর।
Transliteration
Inna awhayna ilayka kama awhayna ila noohin waalnnabiyyeena min baAAdihi waawhayna ila ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba waalasbati waAAeesa waayyooba wayoonusa waharoona wasulaymana waatayna dawooda zabooran

Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Nuh, and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and Isa and Ayub and Yunus and Haroun and Sulaiman and We gave to Dawood
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এছাড়া আরো অনেক রসূল। তাদের কথা আমরা আগেই তোমাকে জানিয়েছি আর অনেক রসূলের কথা আমরা তোমাকে বলিনি। এছাড়া মূসার সাথে সরাসরি কথা বলেছেন।
Transliteration
Warusulan qad qasasnahum AAalayka min qablu warusulan lam naqsushum AAalayka wakallama Allahu moosa takleeman
Shakir
And (We sent) apostles We have mentioned to you before and apostles we have not mentioned to you; and to Musa, Allah addressed His Word, speaking (to him):
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা ছিলো সুসংবাদদাতা ও সতর্ককারী রসূল, যাতে করে রসূল আসার পর আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মানুষের কোনো অভিযোগ করার সুযোগ না থাকে। আর তো মহাশক্তিমান ও মহাপ্রজ্ঞাবান।
(We sent) apostles as the givers of good news and as warners, so that people should not have a plea against Allah after the (coming of) apostles; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছেন তোমার প্রতি যা নাযিল করেছেন তার মাধ্যমে যে, তিনি তা নাযিল করেছেন নিজ জ্ঞানের ভিত্তিতে, ফেরেশতারাও এ সাক্ষ্য দেয়। আর সাক্ষী হিসেবে তো আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট।
But Allah bears witness by what He has revealed to you that He has revealed it with His knowledge, and the angels bear witness (also); and Allah is sufficient as a witness.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিশ্চয়ই যারা কুফুরি করে এবং মানুষকে আল্লাহর পথে আসতে বাধা দেয়, তারা বিপথগামী হয়ে চলে গেছে বহু দূর।
Except the path of hell, to abide in it for ever, and this is easy to Allah.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে মানুষ! এই রসূল তোমাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে এসেছে মহাসত্য নিয়ে। সুতরাং তোমরা তার প্রতি ঈমান আনো, এটাই হবে তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণবহ। কিন্তু তোমরা যদি অস্বীকার করো, তবে জেনে রাখো, মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর। আর মহাজ্ঞানী, মহাপ্রজ্ঞাবান।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha alnnasu qad jaakumu alrrasoolu bialhaqqi min rabbikum faaminoo khayran lakum wain takfuroo fainna lillahi ma fee alssamawati waalardi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman
Shakir
O people! surely the Apostle has come to you with the truth from your Lord, therefore believe, (it shall be) good for you and If you disbelieve, then surely whatever is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা তোমাদের দীনের ব্যাপারে বাড়াবাড়ি করোনা এবং আল্লাহর সম্পর্কে সত্য ছাড়া বলোনা। নিশ্চয়ই মরিয়মের পুত্র ঈসা মসিহ্ আল্লাহর একজন রসূল এবং তাঁর বাণী, যা তিনি নিক্ষেপ করেছিলেন মরিয়মের প্রতি, আর সে আল্লাহর একটি আদেশ। সুতরাং তোমরা ঈমান আনো আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং তাঁর রসূলদের প্রতি, আর তোমরা তিন খোদা বলো না। তোমরা এ থেকে বিরত হও, এটাই তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর। নিশ্চয়ই একমাত্র ইলাহ্। তাঁর সন্তান থাকবে - এমন বিষয় থেকে তিনি পবিত্র। মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই তো তাঁর। উকিল হিসেবে আল্লাহই কাফী (যথেষ্ট)।
Transliteration
Ya ahla alkitabi la taghloo fee deenikum wala taqooloo AAala Allahi illa alhaqqa innama almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama rasoolu Allahi wakalimatuhu alqaha ila maryama waroohun minhu faaminoo biAllahi warusulihi wala taqooloo thalathatun intahoo khayran lakum innama Allahu ilahun wahidun subhanahu an yakoona lahu waladun lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi wakafa biAllahi wakeelan
Shakir
O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one Allah; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মসিহ্ (ঈসা) আল্লাহর বান্দা হওয়াকে কখনো ছোট করে দেখেনি, নৈকট্য লাভকারী ফেরেশতারাও নয়। যে কেউ আল্লাহর দাসত্ব করাকে হেয় জ্ঞান করবে এবং অহংকার করবে, তিনি তাদের সবাইকে অবশ্যি তাঁর কাছে জমা করবেন।
Transliteration
Lan yastankifa almaseehu an yakoona AAabdan lillahi wala almalaikatu almuqarraboona waman yastankif AAan AAibadatihi wayastakbir fasayahshuruhum ilayhi jameeAAan
Shakir
The Messiah does by no means disdain that he should be a servant of Allah, nor do the angels who are near to Him, and whoever disdains His service and is proud, He will gather them all together to Himself.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তবে যারা ঈমান আনবে এবং আমলে সালেহ্ করবে, তিনি তাদের পুরোপুরি দান করবেন তাদের পুরস্কার এবং নিজ অনুগ্রহ থেকে তাদের আরো বেশি করে দেবেন। কিন্তু যারা হেয় জ্ঞান করবে এবং অহংকার করবে তাদের তিনি আযাব দেবেন বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে কোনো পৃষ্ঠপোষক কিংবা সাহায্যকারী পাবেনা।
Then as for those who believe and do good, He will pay them fully their rewards and give them more out of His grace; and as for those who disdain and are proud, He will chastise them with a painful chastisement. And they shall not find for themselves besides Allah a guardian or a helper
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে মানুষ! অবশ্যি তোমাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে এসেছে একটি প্রমাণ, (মুহাম্মদ রসূলুল্লাহ) আর আমরা তোমাদের কাছে পাঠিয়েছি একটি সুস্পষ্ট নূর (আল কুরআন)।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha alnnasu qad jaakum burhanun min rabbikum waanzalna ilaykum nooran mubeenan
Shakir
O people! surely there has come to you manifest proof from your Lord and We have sent to you clear light.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাই যারা ঈমান আনবে আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং মজবুতভাবে আঁকড়ে ধরবে তাঁকে, তিনি তাদের দাখিল করবেন তাঁর রহমত ও অনুগ্রহের মধ্যে এবং তাদের পরিচালিত করবেন তাঁর দিকে সিরাতুল মুসতাকিমে (সরল সঠিক পথে)।
Then as for those who believe in Allah and hold fast by Him, He will cause them to enter into His mercy and grace and guide them to Himself on a right path.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
লোকেরা তোমার কাছে ফতোয়া চাইছে। তুমি বলো: তোমাদের ফতোয়া দিচ্ছেন নিঃসন্তান পিতা - মাতাহীন ব্যক্তির ব্যাপারে: কোনো পুরুষ মারা গেলে তার যদি সন্তান না থাকে এবং থাকে যদি শুধু একজন বোন, তবে সে পাবে পরিত্যক্ত সম্পদের অর্ধেক। আর তার ঐ একক বোনটি যদি (তার আগে) মারা যায় তবে সে হবে তার ওয়ারিশ যদি তার কোনো সন্তান না থাকে। আর যদি দুই বোন থাকে, তবে তারা পাবে তার পরিত্যক্ত সম্পদের দুই তৃতীয়াংশ। কিন্তু যদি তারা একাধিক ভাই - বোন থাকে সে ক্ষেত্রে এক পুরুষের অংশ হবে দুই নারীর সমান। তোমাদের জন্যে সুস্পষ্ট বিধান দিচ্ছেন, যাতে করে তোমরা বিভ্রান্ত না হও। প্রতিটি বিষয়ে জ্ঞানী।
They ask you for a decision of the law. Say: Allah gives you a decision concerning the person who has neither parents nor offspring; if a man dies (and) he has no son and he has a sister, she shall have half of what he leaves, and he shall be her heir she has no son; but if there be two (sisters), they shall have two - thirds of what he leaves; and if there are brethren, men and women, then the male shall have the like of the portion of two females; Allah makes clear to you, lest you err; and Allah knows all things.
