Chapter 3, 200 verses
আলিফ লাম মিম।
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].

! নেই কোনো ইলাহ্ তিনি ছাড়া, তিনি চিরঞ্জীব, সমগ্র সৃষ্টির ধারক।
Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists).
Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu
তিনি নাযিল করেছেন তোমার প্রতি আল কিতাব, যা মহাসত্য এবং তার পূর্বের (কিতাবের) সত্যায়নকারী। আর তিনিই নাযিল করেছেন তাওরাত এবং ইনজিল -
It is He Who has sent down the Book (the Qur'an) to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with truth, confirming what came before it. And He sent down the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel),
Nazzala AAalayka alkitaba bialhaqqi musaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi waanzala alttawrata waalinjeela
ইতোপূর্বে, মানুষের জন্যে পথ প্রদর্শনকারী হিসেবে। অতপর তিনি নাযিল করলেন আল (আল কুরআন)। নিশ্চয়ই যারা অমান্য করে আল্লাহর আয়াত (এই কুরআন), তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে শক্ত আযাব। অসীম ক্ষমতাশালী, (অপরাধের) দন্ডদাতা।
Aforetime, as a guidance to mankind. And He sent down the criterion [of judgement between right and wrong (this Qur'an)]. Truly, those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, for them there is a severe torment; and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Able of Retribution.
Min qablu hudan lilnnasi waanzala alfurqana inna allatheena kafaroo biayati Allahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin
নিশ্চয়ই (এমন সত্তা যে), তাঁর কাছে গোপন থাকেনা কিছুই, না পাতালে, না আকাশে।
Truly, nothing is hidden from Allah, in the earth or in the heaven.
Inna Allaha la yakhfa AAalayhi shayon fee alardi wala fee alssamai
তিনিই সেই সত্তা, যিনি তোমাদের সুরত গঠন করেন রেহেমে (মাতৃগর্ভে) যেভাবে তিনি চান। নেই কোনো ইলাহ্ তিনি ছাড়া, অসীম ক্ষমতাধর মহা প্রজ্ঞাবান তিনি।
He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He wills. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Huwa allathee yusawwirukum fee alarhami kayfa yashao la ilaha illa huwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
তিনি সেই সত্তা, যিনি নাযিল করেছেন তোমার প্রতি আল কিতাব, যার কিছু আয়াত মুহকাম , সেগুলোই এ কিতাবের মূল; বাকিগুলো মুতাশাবিহ্। যাদের অন্তরে বক্রতা আছে ফিতনা সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে তারা পিছু নেয় মুতাশাবিহ্ আয়াত সমূহের এবং সেগুলোর তা’বিল (ব্যাখ্যা) সন্ধানের কাজে নিয়োজিত হয়। অথচ কেউ জানেনা সেগুলোর তা’বিল ছাড়া। যারা জ্ঞানের গভীরতা রাখে, তারা বলে: ‘‘আমরা এর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি, সবগুলোই আমাদের রব - এর নিকট থেকে (অবতীর্ণ)। আসলে বুঝের লোকেরা ছাড়া কেউ উপদেশ গ্রহণ করেনা।
It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the Book (this Qur'an). In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkam (commandments), Al-Fara'id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudud (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers)]; and others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord." And none receive admonition except men of understanding. (Tafsir At-Tabari).
Huwa allathee anzala AAalayka alkitaba minhu ayatun muhkamatun hunna ommu alkitabi waokharu mutashabihatun faamma allatheena fee quloobihim zayghun fayattabiAAoona ma tashabaha minhu ibtighaa alfitnati waibtighaa taweelihi wama yaAAlamu taweelahu illa Allahu waalrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amanna bihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaru illa oloo alalbabi
আমাদের রব! বক্র করোনা আমাদের হৃদয়গুলোকে আমাদেরকে হিদায়াত দান করার পর, আর আমাদের দান করো তোমার নিকট থেকে রহমত। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি মহান দাতা।
(They say): "Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower."
Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana baAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu
আমাদের প্রভু! নিশ্চয়ই তুমি জমা করবে সকল মানুষকে সেদিন, যে দিনটির (আগমনের ব্যাপারে) কোনো সনেদহ নাই। নিশ্চয়ই খেলাফ করেননা ওয়াদা।’’
"Our Lord! Verily, it is You Who will gather mankind together on the Day about which there is no doubt. Verily, Allah never breaks His Promise".
Rabbana innaka jamiAAu alnnasi liyawmin la rayba feehi inna Allaha la yukhlifu almeeAAada
যারা কুফুরি করে তাদের মাল সম্পদ ও সন্তান সন্ততি আল্লাহর কাছে (তাদের) কোনোই কাজে আসবে না। তারা হবে জাহান্নামের জ্বালানি।
Verily, those who disbelieve, neither their properties nor their offspring will avail them whatsoever against Allah; and it is they who will be fuel of the Fire.
Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan waolaika hum waqoodu alnnari
তাদের স্বভাব চরিত্র ফেরাউন সম্প্রদায় এবং তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের স্বভাব চরিত্রেরই মতো। তারা প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল আমাদের আয়াত। ফলে তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদের পাকড়াও করেন এবং শাস্তি প্রদানে খুবই কঠোর।
Like the behaviour of the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and those before them; they belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). So Allah seized (destroyed) them for their sins. And Allah is Severe in punishment.
Kadabi ali firAAawna waallatheena min qablihim kaththaboo biayatina faakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim waAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi
যারা কুফুরি করে তাদের বলো: তোমরা অচিরেই পরাজিত হবে এবং তোমাদের হাশর করা হবে জাহান্নামে, আর তা কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট আবাস!
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to those who disbelieve: "You will be defeated and gathered together to Hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest."
Qul lillatheena kafaroo satughlaboona watuhsharoona ila jahannama wabisa almihadu
(বদর যুদ্ধে) দুই বাহিনীর সম্মুখীন হবার মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্যে রয়েছে একটি নিদর্শন। একটি দল লড়াই করছিল আল্লাহর পথে আর অপর দল ছিলো , তারা তাদেরকে (মুসলিম বাহিনীকে) চোখের দেখায় দেখছিল দ্বিগুণ। যাকে ইচ্ছা শক্তিশালী করেন তাঁর সাহায্য দিয়ে। নিশ্চয়ই এতে শিক্ষণীয় রয়েছে অন্তরদৃষ্টি সম্পন্ন লোকদের জন্যে।
There has already been a sign for you (O Jews) in the two armies that met (in combat i.e. the battle of Badr). One was fighting in the Cause of Allah, and as for the other, (they) were disbelievers. They (the believers) saw them (the disbelievers) with their own eyes twice their number (although they were thrice their number). And Allah supports with His Victory whom He wills. Verily, in this is a lesson for those who understand. (See Verse 8:44). (Tafsir At-Tabari)
Qad kana lakum ayatun fee fiatayni iltaqata fiatun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahi waokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim raya alAAayni waAllahu yuayyidu binasrihi man yashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan liolee alabsari
নারী (স্ত্রী), সন্তান, সোনা - রুপার স্তুপ, চিহ্নধারী ঘোড়া, গবাদি পশু এবং ক্ষেত খামারের প্রতি ভালোবাসা ও আসক্তি মানুষের জন্যে সুশোভিত করে দেয়া হয়েছে। এসবই দুনিয়ার জীবনের ভোগ্য বস্ত্ত। আর উত্তম আশ্রয়স্থল তো রয়েছে আল্লাহর কাছেই।
Beautified for men is the love of things they covet; women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world's life; but Allah has the excellent return (Paradise with flowing rivers) with Him.
Zuyyina lilnnasi hubbu alshshahawati mina alnnisai waalbaneena waalqanateeri almuqantarati mina alththahabi waalfiddati waalkhayli almusawwamati waalanAAami waalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayati alddunya waAllahu AAindahu husnu almaabi
তাদের বলো: ‘‘আমি কি তোমাদের এসব জিনিস থেকে উত্তম জিনিসের সংবাদ দেবো? তাহলো, যারা তাকওয়ার পথ অবলম্বন করবে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জান্নাতসমূহ। যেগুলোর নিচে দিয়ে বহমান রয়েছে নদ - নদী - নহর। সেখানে থাকবে তারা চিরকাল। সেখানে তাদের জন্যে মওজুদ রয়েছে পবিত্র জীবন - সাথিরা, আরো রয়েছে আল্লাহর রেজামন্দি। আর তো তাঁর দাসদের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখবেনই।’’
Say: "Shall I inform you of things far better than those? For Al-Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2) there are Gardens (Paradise) with their Lord, underneath which rivers flow. Therein (is their) eternal (home) and Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives). And Allah will be pleased with them. And Allah is All-Seer of the (His) slaves".
Qul aonabbiokum bikhayrin min thalikum lillatheena ittaqaw AAinda rabbihim jannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha waazwajun mutahharatun waridwanun mina Allahi waAllahu baseerun bialAAibadi
যারা বলে: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। অতএব, ক্ষমা করে দাও আমাদের সমস্ত পাপ আর রক্ষা করো আমাদের আগুনের আযাব থেকে।’
Those who say: "Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire."
Allatheena yaqooloona rabbana innana amanna faighfir lana thunoobana waqina AAathaba alnnari
তাদের বৈশিষ্ট্য হলো: তারা ধৈর্যশীল, সত্যপন্থী, বিনত, (আল্লাহর পথে) দানকারী এবং শেষ রাতে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনাকারী।
(They are) those who are patient, those who are true (in Faith, words, and deeds), and obedient with sincere devotion in worship to Allah. Those who spend [give the Zakat and alms in the Way of Allah] and those who pray and beg Allah's Pardon in the last hours of the night.
Alssabireena waalssadiqeena waalqaniteena waalmunfiqeena waalmustaghfireena bialashari
সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছেন, নিশ্চয়ই কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই তিনি ছাড়া। ফেরেশতা এবং জ্ঞানীরাও এই সাক্ষ্য দেয়। ন্যায় ও ইনসাফের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত। কোনো নেই তিনি ছাড়া। তিনি মহাশক্তিমান মহাবিজ্ঞানী।
Allah bears witness that La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He always) maintains His creation in Justice. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Shahida Allahu annahu la ilaha illa huwa waalmalaikatu waoloo alAAilmi qaiman bialqisti la ilaha illa huwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
নিশ্চয়ই দীন আল্লাহর কাছে একমাত্র ইসলাম। ইতোপূর্বে যাদের কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল তারা তাদের পরস্পর বিদ্বেষবশত তাদের কাছে এলেম আসার পর ইখতেলাফে লিপ্ত হয়। যারাই কুফুরি করবে আল্লাহর আয়াতের প্রতি, তাদের জেনে রাখা উচিত হিসাব গ্রহণে অত্যন্ত দ্রুতগামী।
Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account.
Inna alddeena AAinda Allahi alislamu wama ikhtalafa allatheena ootoo alkitaba illa min baAAdi ma jaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum waman yakfur biayati Allahi fainna Allaha sareeAAu alhisabi
যদি তারা তোমার সাথে বিতর্কে লিপ্ত হতে চায়, তবে তাদের বলে দাও: ‘আমি আল্লাহর জন্যে আত্মসমর্পণ করেছি এবং যারা আমার অনুসরণ করে তারাও।’ যাদের ইতোপূর্বে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল তাদের এবং উম্মিদের জিজ্ঞেস করো: ‘তোমরা কি ইসলাম কবুল (আত্মসমর্পণ) করবে?’ যদি তারা ইসলাম কবুল (আত্মসমর্পণ) করে তবেই হিদায়াত (সঠিক পথ) লাভ করবে। আর যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে তোমার দায়িত্ব তো কেবল (আমার বার্তা) পৌঁছে দেয়া। তো তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখছেনই।
So if they dispute with you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) say: "I have submitted myself to Allah (in Islam), and (so have) those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and to those who are illiterates (Arab pagans): "Do you (also) submit yourselves (to Allah in Islam)?" If they do, they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message; and Allah is All-Seer of (His) slaves .
Fain hajjooka faqul aslamtu wajhiya lillahi wamani ittabaAAani waqul lillatheena ootoo alkitaba waalommiyyeena aaslamtum fain aslamoo faqadi ihtadaw wain tawallaw fainnama AAalayka albalaghu waAllahu baseerun bialAAibadi
যারা কুফুরি করে আল্লাহর আয়াতের প্রতি, নবীদের কতল করে নাহকভাবে এবং মানুষের মধ্যে যারা ন্যায় ও ইনসাফের আদেশ করে তাদেরকেও হত্যা করে, তুমি এসব লোকদের সংবাদ দাও বেদনাদায়ক আযাবের।
Verily! Those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and kill the Prophets without right, and kill those men who order just dealings, ... then announce to them a painful torment.
Inna allatheena yakfuroona biayati Allahi wayaqtuloona alnnabiyyeena bighayri haqqin wayaqtuloona allatheena yamuroona bialqisti mina alnnasi fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin
দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে তাদের সমস্ত আমল নিষ্ফল হয়ে যাবে, আর তাদের কোনো সাহায্যকারী থাকবেনা।
They are those whose works will be lost in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.
Olaika allatheena habitat aAAmaluhum fee alddunya waalakhirati wama lahum min nasireena
তুমি কি ঐসব লোকদের দেখোনি, যাদের কিতাবের অংশ বিশেষ দেয়া হয়েছিল? তাদের আহবান করা হয়েছিল আল্লাহর কিতাবের দিকে, যাতে করে তা তাদের মাঝে ফায়সালা করে দেয়। তারপর তাদের একটি পক্ষ মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, মূলত তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়ারই লোক।
Have you not seen those who have been given a portion of the Scripture? They are being invited to the Book of Allah to settle their dispute, then a party of them turn away, and they are averse.
Alam tara ila allatheena ootoo naseeban mina alkitabi yudAAawna ila kitabi Allahi liyahkuma baynahum thumma yatawalla fareequn minhum wahum muAAridoona
এর কারণ হলো, তারা বলে বেড়ায়: ‘মাত্র কয়েকটা দিন ছাড়া আমাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আগুন স্পর্শই করবেনা।’ তাদের দীন সম্পর্কে তাদের প্রতারিত করে রেখেছে তাদের এই মিথ্যা রচনা।
This is because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a number of days." And that which they used to invent regarding their religion has deceived them.
Thalika biannahum qaloo lan tamassana alnnaru illa ayyaman maAAdoodatin wagharrahum fee deenihim ma kanoo yaftaroona
ঐ দিন তাদের কী অবস্থা হবে, যে সন্দেহাতীত দিনে আমরা তাদের জমা করবো এবং প্রত্যেককেই তার উপার্জিত কর্মের পূর্ণ প্রতিদান দেয়া হবে এবং তাদের প্রতি কোনো প্রকার যুলুম (অবিচার) করা হবেনা?
How (will it be) when We gather them together on the Day about which there is no doubt (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And each person will be paid in full what he has earned? And they will not be dealt with unjustly.
Fakayfa itha jamaAAnahum liyawmin la rayba feehi wawuffiyat kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona
(হে নবী!) বলো: ‘হে ! সমস্ত কর্তৃত্বের মালিক তুমি। যাকে ইচ্ছা তুমি ক্ষমতা দান করো এবং যার থেকে ইচ্ছা তুমি ক্ষমতা কেড়ে নাও। যাকে ইচ্ছা তুমি ইয্যত দাও এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা লাঞ্ছিত করো। সমস্ত কল্যাণ তোমারই হাতে। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি সব বিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।'
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things.
Quli allahumma malika almulki tutee almulka man tashao watanziAAu almulka mimman tashao watuAAizzu man tashao watuthillu man tashao biyadika alkhayru innaka AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
তুমিই রাতকে দিনে রূপান্তরিত করো এবং দিনকে রূপান্তরিত করো রাতে। তুমি জীবন্তকে বের করে আনো মৃত থেকে এবং মৃতকে বের করে আনো জীবন্তের থেকে। আর যাকে ইচ্ছা তুমি রিযিক দান করো বেহিসাব।
You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night (i.e. increase and decrease in the hours of the night and the day during winter and summer), You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit (measure or account).
Tooliju allayla fee alnnahari watooliju alnnahara fee allayli watukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti watukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi watarzuqu man tashao bighayri hisabin
মুমিনরা মুমিনদের ছাড়া কাফিরদের অলি (বন্ধু, অভিভাবক, পৃষ্ঠপোষক) হিসেবে গ্রহণ করবেনা। যে কেউ তা করবে, আল্লাহর সাথে সম্পর্ক থাকার কোনো ভিত্তি তার থাকবেনা। তবে ব্যতিক্রম হলো, যদি তোমরা তাদের থেকে আত্মরক্ষার জন্যে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করো, সেক্ষেত্রে তোমাদের সতর্ক করছেন তাঁর নিজের সম্পর্কে আর আল্লাহর কাছেই (হবে সবার) প্রত্যাবর্তন।
Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliya (supporters, helpers) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allah warns you against Himself (His punishment) , and to Allah is the final return.
La yattakhithi almuminoona alkafireena awliyaa min dooni almumineena waman yafAAal thalika falaysa mina Allahi fee shayin illa an tattaqoo minhum tuqatan wayuhaththirukumu Allahu nafsahu waila Allahi almaseeru
(হে নবী!) তাদের বলো: ‘তোমাদের মনে যা আছে, তা যদি গোপন রাখো, অথবা যদি প্রকাশ করো (সর্বাবস্থায়ই) তা জানেন। তিনি জানেন যা কিছু আছে মহাকাশে আর যা কিছু আছে এই পৃথিবীতে। আর সব বিষয়ে সর্ব শক্তিমান।’
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Whether you hide what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it, and He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. And Allah is Able to do all things."
Qul in tukhfoo ma fee sudoorikum aw tubdoohu yaAAlamhu Allahu wayaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waAllahu AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
যেদিন প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি হাজির পাবে সে যা ভালো কাজ করেছে তা, এবং সে যা মন্দ করেছে তাও। সেদিন সে (যে মন্দ কাজ করেছে) তার ও তার মন্দ কাজের মধ্যে দূর ব্যবধান কামনা করবে। তোমাদের সাবধান করছেন তাঁর নিজের সম্পর্কে। তাঁর দাসদের প্রতি পরম কোমল - দয়া পরবশ।
On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil. And Allah warns you against Himself (His punishment) and Allah is full of kindness to (His) slaves.
Yawma tajidu kullu nafsin ma AAamilat min khayrin muhdaran wama AAamilat min sooin tawaddu law anna baynaha wabaynahu amadan baAAeedan wayuhaththirukumu Allahu nafsahu waAllahu raoofun bialAAibadi
(হে নবী!) তাদের বলো: ‘যদি তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভালোবাসো, তাহলে আমার অনুসরণ করো, তবেই তোমাদের ভালোবাসবেন এবং তোমাদের পাপ ক্ষমা করে দেবেন। অতীব ক্ষমাশীল পরম দয়াবান।’
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Qul in kuntum tuhibboona Allaha faittabiAAoonee yuhbibkumu Allahu wayaghfir lakum thunoobakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
তাদের বলো: ‘তোমরা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করো এবং তাঁর রসূলের।’ যদি তারা (এ কথা থেকে) মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে জেনে রাখো, কাফিরদের পছন্দ করেন না।
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)." But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers .
Qul ateeAAoo Allaha waalrrasoola fain tawallaw fainna Allaha la yuhibbu alkafireena
বিশ্ববাসীর মধ্যে বাছাই করেছেন আদম, নূহ, ইবরাহিমের বংশধর এবং ইমরানের বংশধরকে।
Allah chose Adam, Nuh (Noah), the family of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the family of 'Imran above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn) (of their times).
Inna Allaha istafa adama wanoohan waala ibraheema waala AAimrana AAala alAAalameena
তারা পরস্পরের বংশধর। সব শুনেন, সব দেখেন।
Offspring, one of the other, and Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
Thurriyyatan baAAduha min baAAdin waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun
স্মরণ করো, ইমরানের স্ত্রী বলেছিল: ‘আমার প্রভু! আমার গর্ভে যা (যে সন্তান) আছে, তাকে একান্তভাবে তোমার জন্যে উৎসর্গ করলাম। সুতরাং তুমি আমার পক্ষ থেকে তাকে কবুল করো। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি সব শুনো, সব জানো।’
(Remember) when the wife of 'Imran said: "O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing."
Ith qalati imraatu AAimrana rabbi innee nathartu laka ma fee batnee muharraran fataqabbal minnee innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu
পরে যখন সে তাকে প্রসব করলো, বললো: ‘আমার প্রভু! আমি তো কন্যা সন্তান প্রসব করেছি।’ সে যা প্রসব করেছিল সে সম্পর্কে সর্বাধিক জানতেন। (সে আরো বললো:) ‘আর ছেলে তো এই মেয়ের মতো নয়, আমি তার নাম রেখেছি মরিয়ম এবং তাকে ও তার বংশধরদেরকে তোমার আশ্রয়ে দিচ্ছি অভিশপ্ত শয়তান থেকে।’
Then when she gave birth to her [child Maryam (Mary)], she said: "O my Lord! I have given birth to a female child," - and Allah knew better what she brought forth, - "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Maryam (Mary), and I seek refuge with You (Allah) for her and for her offspring from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast."
Falamma wadaAAatha qalat rabbi innee wadaAAtuha ontha waAllahu aAAlamu bima wadaAAat walaysa alththakaru kaalontha wainnee sammaytuha maryama wainnee oAAeethuha bika wathurriyyataha mina alshshaytani alrrajeemi
ফলে তার প্রভু তাকে কবুল করে নিলেন উত্তম কবুল, আর তাকে গড়ে তুললেন উত্তমভাবে এবং তার তত্ত্বাবধায়ক নিযুক্ত করলেন যাকারিয়াকে। যাকারিয়া যখনই তার কাছে মেহরাবে প্রবেশ করতো তার কাছে খাবার সামগ্রী দেখতে পেতো। সে বলতো: ‘মরিয়ম! এসব তুমি কোথায় পেলে?’ সে বলতো: ‘তা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে। নিশ্চয়ই যাকে চান রিযিক দেন বেহিসাব।’
So her Lord (Allah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariya (Zachariya). Every time he entered Al-Mihrab to (visit) her, he found her supplied with sustenance. He said: "O Maryam (Mary)! From where have you got this?" She said, "This is from Allah." Verily, Allah provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit."
Fataqabbalaha rabbuha biqaboolin hasanin waanbataha nabatan hasanan wakaffalaha zakariyya kullama dakhala AAalayha zakariyya almihraba wajada AAindaha rizqan qala ya maryamu anna laki hatha qalat huwa min AAindi Allahi inna Allaha yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin
ওখানেই যাকারিয়া তার প্রভুর কাছে দোয়া করলো: ‘আমার প্রভু! তোমার পক্ষ থেকে তুমি আমাকে একটি উত্তম বংশধর দাও। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি দোয়া শুনে (কবুল করে) থাকো।’
At that time Zakariya (Zachariya) invoked his Lord, saying: "O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation."
Hunalika daAAa zakariyya rabbahu qala rabbi hab lee min ladunka thurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka sameeAAu aldduAAai
ফলে যাকারিয়া যখন মেহরাবে সালাতে দাঁড়িয়েছিল, তখন ফেরেশতারা এসে তাকে ডেকে বললো: ‘ আপনাকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন ইয়াহিয়ার, তিনি হবেন আল্লাহর ‘কালেমার’ সত্যায়নকারী, সাইয়েদ, নারী বিরাগী এবং সালেহ্ নবীদের একজন।’
Then the angels called him, while he was standing in prayer in Al-Mihrab (a praying place or a private room), (saying): "Allah gives you glad tidings of Yahya (John), confirming (believing in) the word from Allah [i.e. the creation of 'Îsa (Jesus) عليه السلام, the Word from Allah ("Be!" - and he was!)], noble, keeping away from sexual relations with women, a Prophet, from among the righteous."
Fanadathu almalaikatu wahuwa qaimun yusallee fee almihrabi anna Allaha yubashshiruka biyahya musaddiqan bikalimatin mina Allahi wasayyidan wahasooran wanabiyyan mina alssaliheena
সে বললো: ‘হে আমার প্রভু! কী করে ছেলে হবে আমার? আমার তো বার্ধক্য এসেছে, তাছাড়া আমার স্ত্রী বন্ধ্যা।’ তিনি বললেন: ‘এভাবেই যা চান করে থাকেন।’
He said: "O my Lord! How can I have a son when I am very old, and my wife is barren?" (Allah) said: "Thus Allah does what He wills."
Qala rabbi anna yakoonu lee ghulamun waqad balaghaniya alkibaru waimraatee AAaqirun qala kathalika Allahu yafAAalu ma yashao
সে বললো: ‘আমার প্রভু! আমাকে (এর) একটা নিদর্শন দাও।’ তিনি বললেন: ‘তোমার নিদর্শন হলো, তুমি তিনদিন আকারে ইংগিতে ছাড়া কথা বলবেনা এবং তোমার প্রভুর বেশি বেশি যিকির করবে, আর তাসবিহ্ করবে সকাল ও সন্ধ্যায়।’
He said: "O my Lord! Make a sign for me." Allah said: "Your sign is that you shall not speak to mankind for three days except with signals. And remember your Lord much (by praising Him again and again), and glorify (Him) in the afternoon and in the morning. "
Qala rabbi ijAAal lee ayatan qala ayatuka alla tukallima alnnasa thalathata ayyamin illa ramzan waothkur rabbaka katheeran wasabbih bialAAashiyyi waalibkari
স্মরণ করো, ফেরেশতারা বলেছিল: ‘‘হে মরিয়ম! আপনাকে মনোনীত ও পবিত্র করেছেন এবং বিশ্বনারীদের মধ্যে আপনাকে বাছাই করেছেন।
And (remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah has chosen you, purified you (from polytheism and disbelief), and chosen you above the women of the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn) (of her lifetime)."
Waith qalati almalaikatu ya maryamu inna Allaha istafaki watahharaki waistafaki AAala nisai alAAalameena
হে মরিয়ম! আপনার প্রভুর প্রতি অনুগত ও বিনয়ী হোন, সাজদা করুন এবং যারা রুকু করে, তাদের সাথে রুকু করুন।’’
O Mary! "Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord (Allah, by worshipping none but Him Alone) and prostrate yourself, and Irka'i (bow down) along with Ar-Raki'un (those who bow down)."
Ya maryamu oqnutee lirabbiki waosjudee wairkaAAee maAAa alrrakiAAeena
এগুলো - এর সংবাদ আমরা অহি করছি তোমার প্রতি। তুমি তখন তাদের কাছে উপস্থিত ছিলেনা যখন তাদের মধ্যে মরিয়মের কফিল (তত্ত্বাবধায়ক) কে হবে তা নির্ণয়ের উদ্দেশ্যে তারা কলম নিক্ষেপ করেছিল, আর তখনো তুমি তাদের কাছে ছিলেনা যখন তারা এ নিয়ে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হয়েছিল।
This is a part of the news of the Ghaib (unseen, i.e. the news of the past nations of which you have no knowledge) which We reveal to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). You were not with them, when they cast lots with their pens as to which of them should be charged with the care of Maryam (Mary); nor were you with them when they disputed.
Thalika min anbai alghaybi nooheehi ilayka wama kunta ladayhim ith yulqoona aqlamahum ayyuhum yakfulu maryama wama kunta ladayhim ith yakhtasimoona
স্মরণ করো, ফেরেশতারা বলেছিল: ‘‘হে মরিয়ম! আপনাকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে একটি কলেমার, তার নাম হবে মসিহ্ ঈসা ইবনে মরিয়ম, সে হবে দুনিয়া এবং আখিরাতে সম্মানিত এবং নৈকট্য লাভকারীদের একজন।
(Remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word ["Be!" - and he was! i.e. 'Îsa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah 'Îsa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah."
Ith qalati almalaikatu ya maryamu inna Allaha yubashshiruki bikalimatin minhu ismuhu almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama wajeehan fee alddunya waalakhirati wamina almuqarrabeena
দোলনায় থাকা অবস্থায় সে মানুষের সাথে কথা বলবে এবং পরিণত বয়সেও এবং সে হবে ন্যায়বানদের একজন।’’
"He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous."
Wayukallimu alnnasa fee almahdi wakahlan wamina alssaliheena
সে বললো: ‘আমার প্রভু! কেমন করে ছেলে হবে আমার, আমাকে তো স্পর্শ করেনি কোনো পুরুষ?’ তিনি বললেন: ‘‘এভাবেই যা চান সৃষ্টি করেন। তিনি যখন কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত নেন, তখন বলেন: ‘হও’ এবং তা হয়ে যায়।
She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me." He said: "So (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: "Be!" - and it is.
Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu lee waladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahu yakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amran fainnama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu
এবং তিনি তাকে তালিম দেবেন আল কিতাব, হিকমাহ, তাওরাত ও ইনজিল।
And He (Allah) will teach him [('Îsa (Jesus)] the Book and Al-Hikmah (i.e. the Sunnah, the faultless speech of the Prophets, wisdom), (and) the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel).
WayuAAallimuhu alkitaba waalhikmata waalttawrata waalinjeela
আর তাকে রসূল হিসেবে পাঠাবেন বনি ইসরাঈলের কাছে।’’ সে তাদের বলবে: ‘‘আমি তোমাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছি। (তাহলো) আমি কাদামাটি দিয়ে পাখির আকৃতি তৈরি করবো, তারপর তাতে ফুঁ দেবো, সাথে সাথে আল্লাহর অনুমতিক্রমে তা হয়ে যাবে পাখি। আমি জন্মান্ধ ও কুষ্ঠ রোগীদের নিরাময় করবো। আমি মৃতকে জীবিত করবো আল্লাহর অনুমতিক্রমে। তাছাড়া তোমরা তোমাদের ঘরে যা খাও এবং যা সঞ্চয় করো তা তোমাদের বলে দেবো। এতে তোমাদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন যদি তোমরা হয়ে থাকো।
And will make him [('Îsa (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah's Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.
Warasoolan ila banee israeela annee qad jitukum biayatin min rabbikum annee akhluqu lakum mina altteeni kahayati alttayri faanfukhu feehi fayakoonu tayran biithni Allahi waobrio alakmaha waalabrasa waohyee almawta biithni Allahi waonabbiokum bima takuloona wama taddakhiroona fee buyootikum inna fee thalika laayatan lakum in kuntum mumineena
আর আমার সামনে তাওরাতের যা রয়েছে আমি তার সত্যায়নকারী, আর তোমাদের জন্যে যেসব জিনিস হারাম করা হয়েছিল আমি তার কিছু হালাল করবো। আমি তোমাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছি। সুতরাং আল্লাহকে ভয় করো এবং আমার আনুগত্য করো।
And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Taurat (Torah), and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me.
Wamusaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawrati waliohilla lakum baAAda allathee hurrima AAalaykum wajitukum biayatin min rabbikum faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni
আল্লাহ্ই আমার রব এবং তোমাদেরও রব, সুতরাং কেবল তাঁরই ইবাদত করো - এটাই সরল সঠিক পথ।’’
Truly! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (Alone). This is the Straight Path.
Inna Allaha rabbee warabbukum faoAAbudoohu hatha siratun mustaqeemun
অতপর ঈসা যখন তাদের থেকে কুফুরি অনুভব করলো, তখন তাদের বললো: ‘আল্লাহর পথে কারা হবে আমার সাহায্যকারী? তখন হাওয়ারীরা বললো: ‘‘আমরা হবো আল্লাহর পথে সাহায্যকারী। আমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আনলাম। তুমি সাক্ষী থাকো, আমরা আত্মসমর্পণকারী - মুসলিম।
Then when 'Îsa (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: "Who will be my helpers in Allah's Cause?" Al-Hawariyyun (the disciples) said: "We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah)."
Falamma ahassa AAeesa minhumu alkufra qala man ansaree ila Allahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnu ansaru Allahi amanna biAllahi waishhad bianna muslimoona
আমাদের প্রভু! তুমি যা নাযিল করেছো আমরা তার (সেই কিতাবের) প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি এবং তোমার এই রসূলের ইত্তেবা (অনুসরণ) করেছি, তাই তুমি আমাদের (নাম) লিখে নাও সাক্ষ্যদানকারীদের সাথে।’’
Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger [('Îsa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth i.e. La ilaha illallah - none has the right to be worshipped but Allah).
Rabbana amanna bima anzalta waittabaAAna alrrasoola faoktubna maAAa alshshahideena
ওরা ষড়যন্ত্র করেছিল আর আল্লাহ্ও কৌশল করেছিলেন। আল্লাহ্ই সর্বোত্তম কৌশলী।
And they (disbelievers) plotted to kill 'Îsa [(Jesus) عليه السلام], and Allah plotted too. And Allah is the Best of those who plot.
Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena
স্মরণ করো, বলেছিলেন: ‘‘হে ঈসা! আমি তোমার সময়কাল পূর্ণ করছি, তোমাকে আমার কাছে উঠিয়ে নিচ্ছি, যারা কুফুরিতে লিপ্ত হয়েছে তাদের থেকে তোমাকে পবিত্র করছি এবং তোমার অনুসারীদের কাফিরদের উপর কিয়ামতকাল পর্যন্ত শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিচ্ছি। অতপর আমার কাছেই হবে তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। তখন আমি তোমাদের মাঝে ফায়সালা করে দেবো যে বিষয়ে তোমরা ইখতেলাফ করছিলে।
And (remember) when Allah said: "O 'Îsa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Îsa (Jesus) is Allah's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, 'Îsa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur'an] till the Day of Resurrection . Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute."
Ith qala Allahu ya AAeesa innee mutawaffeeka warafiAAuka ilayya wamutahhiruka mina allatheena kafaroo wajaAAilu allatheena ittabaAAooka fawqa allatheena kafaroo ila yawmi alqiyamati thumma ilayya marjiAAukum faahkumu baynakum feema kuntum feehi takhtalifoona
তবে, যারা কুফুরিতে লিপ্ত হবে, তাদেরকে আমি আযাব দেবো কঠিন আযাব দুনিয়ায় এবং আখিরাতে এবং তাদের কোনো সাহায্যকারী থাকবেনা।’’
"As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers."
Faamma allatheena kafaroo faoAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan fee alddunya waalakhirati wama lahum min nasireena
আর যারা ঈমান আনবে এবং আমলে সালেহ করবে, তিনি তাদের পুরোপুরি দিয়ে দেবেন তাদের প্রতিফল। যালিমদের পছন্দ করেননা।
And as for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) and do righteous good deeds, Allah will pay them their reward in full. And Allah does not like the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).
Waamma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati fayuwaffeehim ojoorahum waAllahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena
এগুলো হলো আয়াত এবং বিজ্ঞানময় উপদেশ, যা আমরা তোমার প্রতি তিলাওয়াত করছি।
This is what We recite to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) of the Verses and the Wise Reminder (i.e. the Qur'an).
Thalika natloohu AAalayka mina alayati waalththikri alhakeemi
আল্লাহর কাছে ঈসার দৃষ্টান্ত আদমের অনুরূপ। তাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটি থেকে, তারপর তাকে বলেছেন: ‘হও’ ফলে সে হয়ে গেলো।
Verily, the likeness of 'Îsa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was.
Inna mathala AAeesa AAinda Allahi kamathali adama khalaqahu min turabin thumma qala lahu kun fayakoonu
সত্য (এসেছে) তোমার প্রভুর নিকট থেকে, সুতরাং তুমি সনেদহ পোষণকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়োনা।
(This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt.
Alhaqqu min rabbika fala takun mina almumtareena
তোমার কাছে (সত্য) এলেম আসার পর যারা তোমার সাথে বিতর্ক করে, তুমি তাদের বলো: ‘‘এসো আমরা ডাকি আমাদের পুত্রদের এবং তোমাদের পুত্রদের, আমাদের নারীদের এবং তোমাদের নারীদের, আমাদের নিজেদের এবং তোমাদের নিজেদের, তারপর বিনীত আবেদন করি এবং মিথ্যাবাদীদের উপর দেই আল্লাহর লা’নত।’’
Then whoever disputes with you concerning him ['Îsa (Jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you [i.e. 'Îsa (Jesus) being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity], say: (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie."
Faman hajjaka feehi min baAAdi ma jaaka mina alAAilmi faqul taAAalaw nadAAu abnaana waabnaakum wanisaana wanisaakum waanfusana waanfusakum thumma nabtahil fanajAAal laAAnata Allahi AAala alkathibeena
এ এক অতীব সত্য বিবরণ। কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই ছাড়া। আর নিশ্চয়ই মহাশক্তিমান মহা বিজ্ঞানী।
Verily! This is the true narrative [about the story of 'Îsa (Jesus)], and La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Inna hatha lahuwa alqasasu alhaqqu wama min ilahin illa Allahu wainna Allaha lahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
তারপরও তোমরা যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে জেনে রাখো, ফাসাদ সৃষ্টিকারীদের ভালোভাবেই জানেন।
And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidence), then surely, Allah is All-Aware of those who do mischief.
Fain tawallaw fainna Allaha AAaleemun bialmufsideena
হে নবী! তুমি তাদের বলো: ‘হে আহলে কিতাব! এসো, এই কথাটিতে আমরা একমত হয়ে যাই, যা আমাদের ও তোমাদের মাঝে একই রকম। তাহলো: আমরা ছাড়া আর কারো ইবাদত করবোনা। আমরা তাঁর সাথে কোনো কিছুকেই শরিক করবোনা এবং আমরা ছাড়া আমাদের পরস্পরকে রব হিসেবে গ্রহণ করবোনা।’ যদি তারা (এ প্রস্তাব) গ্রহণ করতে অস্বীকার করে, তবে তাদের বলো: ‘তোমরা সাক্ষী থাকো, আমরা মুসলিম।’
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah (Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah . Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims."
Qul ya ahla alkitabi taAAalaw ila kalimatin sawain baynana wabaynakum alla naAAbuda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihi shayan wala yattakhitha baAAduna baAAdan arbaban min dooni Allahi fain tawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bianna muslimoona
হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা ইবরাহিমকে নিয়ে কেন তর্ক করো? অথচ তাওরাত এবং ইনজিল তো তার পরে নাযিল হয়েছে। তোমরা কি আকল রাখোনা?
O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim (Abraham), while the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense?
Ya ahla alkitabi lima tuhajjoona fee ibraheema wama onzilati alttawratu waalinjeelu illa min baAAdihi afala taAAqiloona
হাঁ, তোমরা তো ঐসব লোক, যারা তর্ক করেছো যে বিষয়ে তোমাদের একটুখানি জ্ঞান আছে, কিন্তু যে বিষয়ে তোমাদের কোনো জ্ঞানই নেই, সে বিষয়ে কেন তোমরা তর্ক করছো? জানেন, তোমরা জানোনা।
Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that of which you have no knowledge? It is Allah Who knows, and you know not.
Haantum haolai hajajtum feema lakum bihi AAilmun falima tuhajjoona feema laysa lakum bihi AAilmun waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona
ইবরাহিম ইহুদিও ছিলনা নাসারাও (খৃষ্টান) ছিলনা, বরং সে ছিলো একনিষ্ঠ মুসলিম। আর সে মুশরিকদেরও অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলনা।
Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone) and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (See V.2:105) .
Ma kana ibraheemu yahoodiyyan wala nasraniyyan walakin kana haneefan musliman wama kana mina almushrikeena
জেনে রাখো, মানুষের মাঝে ইবরাহিমের নিকটতম লোক হলো তারা, যারা তার অনুসরণ করেছে এবং এই নবী (মুহাম্মদ), আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে তারা। আল্লাহ্ই মুমিনদের অলি।
Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers.
Inna awla alnnasi biibraheema lallatheena ittabaAAoohu wahatha alnnabiyyu waallatheena amanoo waAllahu waliyyu almumineena
আহলে কিতাবদের একদল লোক চায় যেনো তোমাদের পথভ্রষ্ট করতে পারে। আসলে তারা কেবল নিজেদেরই পথভ্রষ্ট করে, কিন্তু তারা তা বুঝতে পারেনা।
A party of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish to lead you astray. But they shall not lead astray anyone except themselves, and they perceive not.
Waddat taifatun min ahli alkitabi law yudilloonakum wama yudilloona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona
হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা কেন আল্লাহর আয়াতকে (আল কুরআন ও শেষ নবীকে) অস্বীকার করছো, অথচ (তা সত্য হবার ব্যাপারে) তোমরাই সাক্ষী।
O people of the Scripture! (Jews and Christians): "Why do you disbelieve in the Ayat of Allah, [the Verses about Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم present in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth)."
Ya ahla alkitabi lima takfuroona biayati Allahi waantum tashhadoona
হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা কেন আল্লাহর আয়াতকে (আল কুরআন ও শেষ নবীকে) অস্বীকার করছো, অথচ (তা সত্য হবার ব্যাপারে) তোমরাই সাক্ষী।
O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): "Why do you mix truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know?"
Ya ahla alkitabi lima talbisoona alhaqqa bialbatili wataktumoona alhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona
আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে একদল লোক (তাদের লোকদের) বলছিল: ‘মুমিনদের প্রতি যা নাযিল হয়েছে তার প্রতি দিনের শুরুতে ঈমান আনো, আর দিনের শেষে কুফুরি করো, তাতে হয়তো তারা (তাদের ঈমান থেকে) ফিরে আসবে।’
And a party of the people of the Scripture say: "Believe in the morning in that which is revealed to the believers (Muslims), and reject it at the end of the day, so that they may turn back.
Waqalat taifatun min ahli alkitabi aminoo biallathee onzila AAala allatheena amanoo wajha alnnahari waokfuroo akhirahu laAAallahum yarjiAAoona
(তারা নিজেদের মধ্যে আরো বলাবলি করে:) ‘আর কাউকেও বিশ্বাস করবেনা তাকে ছাড়া, যে তোমাদের ধর্মের অনুসরণ করে।’ হে নবী! তাদের বলো: ‘আল্লাহর দেখানো পথই একমাত্র হিদায়াতের পথ।’ এটা এজন্যে যে, এক সময় তোমাদের যা দেয়া হয়েছে অনুরূপ অন্য কাউকেও দেয়া হবে, অথবা তোমাদের প্রভুর সামনে তারা তোমাদের যুক্তিতে পরাস্ত করবে। বলো: অনুগ্রহ অবশ্যি আল্লাহর হাতে, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা তা দান করেন। অতীব উদার, অতীব জ্ঞানী।
And believe no one except the one who follows your religion. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Verily! Right guidance is the Guidance of Allah" and do not believe that anyone can receive like that which you have received, otherwise they would engage you in argument before your Lord. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "All the bounty is in the Hand of Allah; He grants to whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower."
Wala tuminoo illa liman tabiAAa deenakum qul inna alhuda huda Allahi an yuta ahadun mithla ma ooteetum aw yuhajjookum AAinda rabbikum qul inna alfadla biyadi Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun
নিজ রহমতের জন্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা তিনি খাস করে বেছে নেন। মহা অনুগ্রহের মালিক ।
He selects for His Mercy (Islam and the Qur'an with Prophethood) whom He wills and Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.
Yakhtassu birahmatihi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
আহলে কিতাবদের (ইহুদি খৃষ্টানদের) মধ্যে এমন লোকও আছে, যার কাছে প্রচুর পরিমাণ সম্পদ আমানত রাখলেও সে তোমাকে ফেরত দেবে, আবার এমন লোকও আছে যার কাছে একটি দিনার আমানত রাখলেও তার পিছে লেগে না থাকলে সে ফেরত দেবেনা। এর কারণ হলো, তারা বলে: ‘উম্মিদের প্রতি আমাদের কোনো দায় দায়িত্ব নেই।’ তারা জেনে শুনেই আল্লাহর সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলে।
Among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is he who, if entrusted with a Qintar (a great amount of wealth, etc.), will readily pay it back; and among them there is he who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless you constantly stand demanding, because they say: "There is no blame on us to betray and take the properties of the illiterates (Arabs)." But they tell a lie against Allah while they know it.
Wamin ahli alkitabi man in tamanhu biqintarin yuaddihi ilayka waminhum man in tamanhu bideenarin la yuaddihi ilayka illa ma dumta AAalayhi qaiman thalika biannahum qaloo laysa AAalayna fee alommiyyeena sabeelun wayaqooloona AAala Allahi alkathiba wahum yaAAlamoona
হ্যাঁ, কেউ যদি তার অংগীকার পুরণ করে এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করে, তারা জেনে রাখুক, মুত্তাকিদের ভালোবাসেন।
Yes, whoever fulfils his pledge and fears Allah much; verily, then Allah loves those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2).
Bala man awfa biAAahdihi waittaqa fainna Allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeena
যারা বিক্রয় করে আল্লাহর সাথে করা অংগীকার এবং নিজেদের শপথকে তুচ্ছ মূল্যে, আখিরাতে তাদের কোনো অংশ নেই। কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের সাথে কথা বলবেন না এবং তাদের দিকে তাকাবেনও না, আর তাদের পবিত্রও করবেন না। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter (Paradise). Neither will Allah speak to them, nor look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful torment.
Inna allatheena yashtaroona biAAahdi Allahi waaymanihim thamanan qaleelan olaika la khalaqa lahum fee alakhirati wala yukallimuhumu Allahu wala yanthuru ilayhim yawma alqiyamati wala yuzakkeehim walahum AAathabun aleemun
অবশ্যি তাদের মধ্যে এমন একদল লোক আছে যারা আল্লাহর কিতাবকে জিহ্বা দিয়ে বিকৃত করে, যাতে করে তোমরা সেটাকে আল্লাহর কিতাবের অংশ মনে করো। অথচ তা কিতাবের অংশ নয়। তারা বলে: ‘ওটা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকেই এসেছে।’ অথচ সেটা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে নয়। তারা জেনে বুঝে আল্লাহর ব্যাপারে মিথ্যা বলে।
And verily, among them is a party who distort the Book with their tongues (as they read), so that you may think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book, and they say: "This is from Allah," but it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie against Allah while they know it.
Wainna minhum lafareeqan yalwoona alsinatahum bialkitabi litahsaboohu mina alkitabi wama huwa mina alkitabi wayaqooloona huwa min AAindi Allahi wama huwa min AAindi Allahi wayaqooloona AAala Allahi alkathiba wahum yaAAlamoona
কোনো ব্যক্তির জন্যে এটা সংগত নয় যে, তাকে কিতাব, হিকমাহ ও নবুয়্যত দেবেন, অতপর সে মানুষকে বলবে: ‘তোমরা আল্লাহর বদলে আমার দাস হয়ে যাও।’ বরং সে বলবে: ‘তোমরা আল্লাহওয়ালা হয়ে যাও।’ এর কারণ, তোমরা তো কিতাব শিক্ষাদান করতে এবং তা অধ্যয়ন করতে।
It is not (possible) for any human being to whom Allah has given the Book and Al-Hukm (the knowledge and understanding of the laws of religion) and Prophethood to say to the people: "Be my worshippers rather than Allah's." On the contrary (he would say): "Be you Rabbaniyyun (learned men of religion who practise what they know and also preach others), because you are teaching the Book, and you are studying it."
Ma kana libasharin an yutiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasi koonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakin koonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoona alkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona
ফেরেশতা এবং নবীদেরকে রব হিসেবে গ্রহণ করার নির্দেশ সে তোমাদের দিতে পারেনা। তোমরা মুসলিম হবার পর সে কি তোমাদের কুফুরির নির্দেশ দেবে?
Nor would he order you to take angels and Prophets for lords (gods) . Would he order you to disbelieve after you have submitted to Allah's Will? (Tafsir At-Tabari).
Wala yamurakum an tattakhithoo almalaikata waalnnabiyyeena arbaban ayamurukum bialkufri baAAda ith antum muslimoona
স্মরণ করো, একথার উপর নবীদের অংগীকার নিয়েছিলেন যে: আমি তোমাদের যে কিতাব ও হিকমাহ্ দিয়েছি তোমরা তা গ্রহণ করো, তারপর তোমাদের কাছে একজন রসূল (মুহাম্মদ) আসবে, তোমাদের সাথে যা আছে তার সত্যায়নকারী হিসেবে, তখন তোমরা অবশ্যি তার প্রতি ঈমান আনবে এবং তাকে সাহায্য করবে।’তিনি জিজ্ঞেস করলেন: ‘তোমরা কি স্বীকার করলে? এবং এ ব্যাপারে আমার প্রতিশ্রুতি কি গ্রহণ করলে?’ তারা বলেছিল: ‘আমরা স্বীকার করলাম।’ তিনি বললেন: ‘তোমরা সাক্ষী থাকো এবং আমিও তোমাদের সাথে সাক্ষী থাকলাম।’
And (remember) when Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying: "Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah (understanding of the Laws of Allah), and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) confirming what is with you; you must, then, believe in him and help him." Allah said: "Do you agree (to it) and will you take up My Covenant (which I conclude with you)?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses (for this)."
Waith akhatha Allahu meethaqa alnnabiyyeena lama ataytukum min kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakum rasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latuminunna bihi walatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtum AAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarna qala faishhadoo waana maAAakum mina alshshahideena
এরপর যারা (প্রতিশ্রুতি থেকে) সরে যাবে, তারা ফাসিক (সত্যত্যাগী) বলে গণ্য হবে।
Then whoever turns away after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious: those who turn away from Allah's Obedience).
Faman tawalla baAAda thalika faolaika humu alfasiqoona
তারা কি আল্লাহর দীনের পরিবর্তে অন্য দীন সন্ধান করছে? অথচ মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যারাই আছে সবাই ইচ্ছায় হোক কিংবা অনিচ্ছায় তাঁর প্রতি আত্মসমর্পণ করেছে। আর তাদের ফেরত নেয়া হবে তাঁরই কাছে।
Do they seek other than the religion of Allah (the true Islamic Monotheism - worshipping none but Allah Alone), while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly. And to Him shall they all be returned.
Afaghayra deeni Allahi yabghoona walahu aslama man fee alssamawati waalardi tawAAan wakarhan wailayhi yurjaAAoona
হে নবী বলো: ‘‘আমরা ঈমান এনেছি আল্লাহর প্রতি, আমাদের প্রতি যা (যে কিতাব) নাযিল করা হয়েছে তার প্রতি এবং যা নাযিল করা হয়েছে ইবরাহিম, ইসমাঈল, ইসহাক, ইয়াকুব ও তার বংশধরদের কাছে তার প্রতি, আর যা দেয়া হয়েছে মূসা, ঈসা ও অন্যান্য নবীদেরকে তাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে তার প্রতিও। আমরা তাদের কারো মধ্যে কোনো প্রকার পার্থক্য করিনা। আমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি মুসলিম (আত্মসমর্পণকারী)।’’
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)] and what was given to Musa (Moses), 'Îsa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam)."
Qul amanna biAllahi wama onzila AAalayna wama onzila AAala ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba waalasbati wama ootiya moosa waAAeesa waalnnabiyyoona min rabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahu muslimoona
যে কেউ ইসলাম ছাড়া কোনো দীন (ধর্ম, মতাদর্শ) গ্রহণ করতে চাইবে, তার থেকে তা কখনো গ্রহণ করা হবেনা। আখিরাতে সে হবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের একজন।
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers .
Waman yabtaghi ghayra alislami deenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee alakhirati mina alkhasireena
কেমন করে এমন লোকদের হিদায়াত করবেন, যারা ঈমান আনার পর, আল্লাহর রসূলকে সত্য বলে সাক্ষ্য দেয়ার পর এবং তাদের কাছে স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ ও নিদর্শনাদি আসার পরও কুফুরিতে নিমজ্জিত থাকে? যালিম লোকদের হিদায়াত করেন না।
How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and after they bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) is true and after clear proofs had come unto them? And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).
Kayfa yahdee Allahu qawman kafaroo baAAda eemanihim washahidoo anna alrrasoola haqqun wajaahumu albayyinatu waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
আসলে এরা হলো সেইসব লোক যাদের উপর আল্লাহর, ফেরেশতাদের এবং সমস্ত মানুষের লা’নত বর্ষিত হচ্ছে, এটাই তাদের কর্মের পরিণাম ফল।
They are those whose recompense is that on them (rests) the Curse of Allah, of the angels, and of all mankind.
Olaika jazaohum anna AAalayhim laAAnata Allahi waalmalaikati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena
চিরকাল থাকবে তারা এরি মধ্যে, তাদের উপর থেকে আযাব হালকা করা হবেনা এবং তাদেরকে কোনো বিরতিও দেয়া হবেনা।
They will abide therein (Hell). Neither will their torment be lightened, nor will it be delayed or postponed (for a while).
Khalideena feeha la yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoona
তবে, এরপরও যারা তাওবা করবে এবং নিজেদের ইসলাহ (সংশোধন) করে নেবে, তারা জেনে রাখুক, নিশ্চয়ই পরম ক্ষমাশীল পরম দয়াবান।
Except for those who repent after that and do righteous deeds. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Illa allatheena taboo min baAAdi thalika waaslahoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
কিন্তু, যারা ঈমান আনার পর কুফুরিতে লিপ্ত হয়, তারপর তাদের কুফুরি বৃদ্ধি পেতে থাকে, তাদের তওবা কখনো কবুল করা হবেনা। তারা চরম বিপথগামী।
Verily, those who disbelieved after their Belief and then went on increasing in their disbelief (i.e. disbelief in the Qur'an and in Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) - never will their repentance be accepted [because they repent only by their tongues and not from their hearts]. And they are those who are astray.
Inna allatheena kafaroo baAAda eemanihim thumma izdadoo kufran lan tuqbala tawbatuhum waolaika humu alddalloona
যারা কুফুরি করে এবং অবস্থায়ই তাদের মৃত্যু হয়, কিছুতেই তাদের কারো (তওবা) কবুল করা হবেনা, এর বিনিময়ে পূর্ণ পৃথিবী সমান সোনা মুক্তিপণ হিসেবে দিলেও নয়। এদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব এবং তাদের কোনো সাহায্যকারী থাকবেনা।
Verily, those who disbelieved, and died while they were disbelievers, the (whole) earth full of gold will not be accepted from anyone of them even if they offered it as a ransom . For them is a painful torment and they will have no helpers.
Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoo wahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim milo alardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi olaika lahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireena
তোমাদের ভালোবাসার সম্পদ থেকে ব্যয় (দান) না করলে তোমরা কখনো পুণ্য লাভ করবেনা। আর তোমরা যা কিছু ব্যয় করো সে বিষয়ে বিশেষভাবে অবহিত।
By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (piety, righteousness - here it means Allah's Reward, i.e. Paradise), unless you spend (in Allah's Cause) of that which you love; and whatever of good you spend, Allah knows it well.
Lan tanaloo albirra hatta tunfiqoo mimma tuhibboona wama tunfiqoo min shayin fainna Allaha bihi AAaleemun
তাওরাত নাযিল হওয়ার আগে বনি ইসরাঈলের জন্যে প্রতিটি খাবারই হালাল ছিলো, তবে ইসরাঈল (ইয়াকুব) নিজের জন্যে যা হারাম করে নিয়েছিল সেটা ভিন্ন বিষয়। (হে নবী!) বলো: ‘তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকলে তাওরাত নিয়ে এসো এবং তা তিলাওয়াত করে দেখো।’
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful for himself before the Taurat (Torah) was revealed. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Bring here the Taurat (Torah) and recite it, if you are truthful."
Kullu alttaAAami kana hillan libanee israeela illa ma harrama israeelu AAala nafsihi min qabli an tunazzala alttawratu qul fatoo bialttawrati faotlooha in kuntum sadiqeena
এর পরও যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করবে, তারা যালিম।
Then after that, whosoever shall invent a lie against Allah, ... such shall indeed be the Zalimun (disbelievers).
Famani iftara AAala Allahi alkathiba min baAAdi thalika faolaika humu althalimoona
হে নবী! বলো: সত্য বলেছেন, সুতরাং তোমরা নিষ্ঠাবান ইবরাহিমের মিল্লাতের অনুসরণ করো। সে মুশরিক ছিলনা।
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Allah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. he used to worship Allah Alone), and he was not of Al-Mushrikun " (See V.2:105)
Qul sadaqa Allahu faittabiAAoo millata ibraheema haneefan wama kana mina almushrikeena
জেনে রাখো, মানবজাতির জন্যে প্রথম যে ঘর নির্মাণ করা হয়েছিল, সেটি বাক্কায় (মক্কায়)। সেটি একটি মুবারক (কল্যাণময়) ঘর এবং বিশ্ববাসীর জন্যে দিশারি।
Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-'Alamin (mankind and jinn).
Inna awwala baytin wudiAAa lilnnasi lallathee bibakkata mubarakan wahudan lilAAalameena
তাতে রয়েছে অনেক সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন। তম্মধ্যে একটি হলো ‘মাকামে ইবরাহিম।’ যে কেউ সে ঘরে দাখিল হবে সে নিরাপদ। যে কোনো ব্যক্তির (পথ পাড়ি দিয়ে) সেখানে পৌঁছার সামর্থ আছে, সে ঘরে আল্লাহর জন্যে হজ্জ করা তার কর্তব্য। আর যে অস্বীকার করবে, সে জেনে রাখুক, বিশ্ববাসী থেকে মুখাপেক্ষাহীন।
In it are manifest signs (for example), the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim (Abraham); whosoever enters it, he attains security. And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah ) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah), then he is a of Allah], then Allah stands not in need of any of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists) .
Feehi ayatun bayyinatun maqamu ibraheema waman dakhalahu kana aminan walillahi AAala alnnasi hijju albayti mani istataAAa ilayhi sabeelan waman kafara fainna Allaha ghaniyyun AAani alAAalameena
(হে নবী!) বলো: ‘হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা কেন কুফুরি করছো আল্লাহর নিদর্শনের প্রতি? অথচ তোমাদের কর্মকান্ডের সাক্ষী।’
Say: "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you reject the Ayat of Allah (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) while Allah is Witness to what you do?"
Qul ya ahla alkitabi lima takfuroona biayati Allahi waAllahu shaheedun AAala ma taAAmaloona
(হে নবী!) বলো: ‘হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা বক্রতা সন্ধান করে কেন ঐ ব্যক্তিকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বাধা দিচ্ছো, যে ঈমান এনেছে? অথচ তোমরা (তার সত্যতার) সাক্ষী। তোমাদের কর্মকান্ড থেকে গাফিল নন।
Say: "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you stop those who have believed, from the Path of Allah, seeking to make it seem crooked, while you (yourselves) are witnesses [to Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as a Messenger of Allah and Islam (Allah's religion, i.e. to worship none but Him Alone)]? And Allah is not unaware of what you do."
Qul ya ahla alkitabi lima tasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi man amana tabghoonaha AAiwajan waantum shuhadao wama Allahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona
হে লোকেরা! যাদের ইতোপূর্বে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল তোমরা যদি তাদের একটি দলেরও আনুগত্য করো, তারা তোমাদের ঈমানের পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত করে বানিয়ে ছাড়বে।
O you who believe! If you obey a group of those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians), they would (indeed) render you disbelievers after you have believed!
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in tuteeAAoo fareeqan mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba yaruddookum baAAda eemanikum kafireena
কী করে তোমরা কুফুরিতে নিমজ্জিত হতে পারো, যখন তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর আয়াত তিলাওয়াত করা হচ্ছে এবং তোমাদের মাঝে বর্তমান রয়েছে আল্লাহর রসূল? যে শক্ত করে ধরবে আল্লাহকে, তাকে অবশ্যি পরিচালিত করা হবে সিরাতুল মুস্তাকিমের উপর।
And how would you disbelieve, while unto you are recited the Verses of Allah, and among you is His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)? And whoever holds firmly to Allah, (i.e. follows Islam - Allah's Religion, and obeys all that Allah has ordered, practically), then he is indeed guided to the Right Path.
Wakayfa takfuroona waantum tutla AAalaykum ayatu Allahi wafeekum rasooluhu waman yaAAtasim biAllahi faqad hudiya ila siratin mustaqeemin
হে ঐসব লোক যারা ঈমান এনেছো! তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো তাঁকে ভয় করার হক আদায় করে এবং মুসলিম (আল্লাহর প্রতি পূর্ণ আত্মসমর্পণকারী) না হয়ে মরোনা।
O you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islam [as Muslims (with complete submission to Allah)].
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha haqqa tuqatihi wala tamootunna illa waantum muslimoona
তোমরা সবাই মিলে শক্ত করে আঁকড়ে ধরো আল্লাহর রজ্জুকে (কুরআনকে) এবং বিচ্ছিন্ন - ভাগ ভাগ হয়ে থেকোনা। স্মরণ করো তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর নিয়ামতের কথা! তোমরা ছিলে পরস্পরের দুশমন, আর তিনিই তোমাদের অন্তরে তোমাদের পরস্পরের জন্যে সম্প্রীতি সঞ্চার করে দিয়েছেন। ফলে তোমরা তাঁরই অনুগ্রহে পরস্পরের ভাই হয়ে গিয়েছো। (আরো স্মরণ করো,) তোমরা ছিলে অগ্নিকুন্ডের কিনারে, তারপর সেখান থেকেও তিনিই তোমাদের রক্ষা করেছেন। এভাবেই তোমাদের জন্যে বয়ান করেন তাঁর আয়াত, যাতে করে তোমরা পরিচালিত হও হিদায়াতের পথে।
And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Qur'an), and be not divided among yourselves , and remember Allah's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islamic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.
WaiAAtasimoo bihabli Allahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaan faallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihi ikhwanan wakuntum AAala shafa hufratin mina alnnari faanqathakum minha kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakum tahtadoona
তোমাদের মধ্যে অবশ্যি এমন একদল লোক থাকা উচিত, যারা (মানুষকে) আহবান করবে কল্যাণের দিকে, নির্দেশ দেবে ভালো কাজের এবং নিষেধ করবে মন্দ কাজ থেকে। আর তারাই হবে ।
Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the .
Waltakun minkum ommatun yadAAoona ila alkhayri wayamuroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAani almunkari waolaika humu almuflihoona
তোমরা ওদের মতো হয়োনা, যাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন আসার পরও তারা পরস্পর বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে পড়েছিল এবং লিপ্ত হয়েছিল ইখতিলাফে। এরা হলো সেইসব লোক যাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরাট আযাব।
And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment.
Wala takoonoo kaallatheena tafarraqoo waikhtalafoo min baAAdi ma jaahumu albayyinatu waolaika lahum AAathabun AAatheemun
সেদিন কিছু চেহারা হবে উজ্জ্বল আর কিছু চেহারা হবে কালো। যাদের চেহারা হবে কালো, তাদের বলা হবে: ‘তোমরা কি ঈমান আনার পর কুফুরিতে লিপ্ত হয়েছিলে? সুতরাং তোমাদের কুফুরির কারণে স্বাদ গ্রহণ করো আযাবের।’
On the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) when some faces will become white and some faces will become black; as for those whose faces will become black (to them will be said): "Did you reject Faith after accepting it? Then taste the torment (in Hell) for rejecting Faith."
Yawma tabyaddu wujoohun wataswaddu wujoohun faamma allatheena iswaddat wujoohuhum akafartum baAAda eemanikum fathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum takfuroona
পক্ষান্তরে যাদের চেহারা হবে উজ্জ্বল, তারা থাকবে আল্লাহর রহমতের (জান্নাতের) মধ্যে। সেখানে থাকবে তারা চির
And for those whose faces will become white, they will be in Allah's Mercy (Paradise), therein they shall dwell forever.
Waamma allatheena ibyaddat wujoohuhum fafee rahmati Allahi hum feeha khalidoona
এগুলো আল্লাহর আয়াত, আমরা তোমার প্রতি তিলাওয়াত করছি, যা মহাসত্য। বিশ্ববাসীর প্রতি যুলুম করতে চান না।
These are the Verses of Allah: We recite them to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) in truth, and Allah wills no injustice to the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
Tilka ayatu Allahi natlooha AAalayka bialhaqqi wama Allahu yureedu thulman lilAAalameena
মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর, আর আল্লাহর কাছেই ফিরে যাবে সব বিষয়।
And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And all matters go back (for decision) to Allah.
Walillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waila Allahi turjaAAu alomooru
তোমরা হলে সর্বোত্তম উম্মত, তোমাদের আবির্ভাব ঘটানো হয়েছে মানবজাতির (কল্যাণের) উদ্দেশ্যে। (তোমাদের দায়িত্ব হলো:) তোমরা ভালো কাজের আদেশ করবে, মন্দ কাজ থেকে বারণ করবে এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি অবিচল আস্থা রাখবে। আহলে কিতাব যদি ঈমান আনে তবে সেটা হবে তাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর। তাদের মধ্যে কিছু সংখ্যক আছে বটে, তবে তাদের অধিকাংশই ফাসিক (সত্য বিচ্যুত, সীমালংঘনকারী)।
You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and his Sunnah] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah . And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command).
Kuntum khayra ommatin okhrijat lilnnasi tamuroona bialmaAAroofi watanhawna AAani almunkari watuminoona biAllahi walaw amana ahlu alkitabi lakana khayran lahum minhumu almuminoona waaktharuhumu alfasiqoona
তারা কখনো তোমাদের ক্ষতি করতে পারবেনা, তবে (সাময়িক) কিছু কষ্ট দিতে পারবে মাত্র। তারা তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করলে পিছে ফিরে পালাবে। তারপর তারা আর সাহায্য লাভ করবেনা।
They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; and if they fight against you, they will show you their backs, and they will not be helped.
Lan yadurrookum illa athan wain yuqatilookum yuwallookumu aladbara thumma la yunsaroona
আল্লাহর প্রতিশ্রুতির বাইরে এবং মানুষের প্রতিশ্রুতির বাইরে যেখানেই তাদের পাওয়া গেছে, তারা লাঞ্ছিত হয়েছে। তারা আল্লাহর গজব কামাই করেছে এবং তাদের গ্রাস করেছে হীনতা ও দীনতা। এর কারণ তারা আল্লাহর আয়াতের প্রতি কুফুরি করে আসছিল এবং হত্যা করে আসছিল আল্লাহর নবীদের না হকভাবে। তাছাড়া তারা অবাধ্যতার পথ অবলম্বন করছিল এবং সীমালংঘন করে আসছিল।
Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allah, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allah's disobedience, crimes and sins).
Duribat AAalayhimu alththillatu ayna ma thuqifoo illa bihablin mina Allahi wahablin mina alnnasi wabaoo bighadabin mina Allahi waduribat AAalayhimu almaskanatu thalika biannahum kanoo yakfuroona biayati Allahi wayaqtuloona alanbiyaa bighayri haqqin thalika bima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona
তাদের সবার অবস্থা এক রকম নয়। আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে একদল লোক (সত্যের উপর) কায়েম আছে, যারা রাতে আল্লাহর আয়াত তিলাওয়াত করে এবং সাজদারত থাকে।
Not all of them are alike; a party of the people of the Scripture stand for the right, they recite the Verses of Allah during the hours of the night, prostrating themselves in prayer.
Laysoo sawaan min ahli alkitabi ommatun qaimatun yatloona ayati Allahi anaa allayli wahum yasjudoona
তারা ঈমান রাখে আল্লাহর প্রতি ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি এবং তারা ভালো কাজের আদেশ করে, মন্দ কাজ থেকে বারণ করে এবং মানব কল্যাণে তৎপর থাকে। এরা সালেহ্ লোকদের অন্তরভুক্ত।
They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (Islamic Monotheism, and following Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and opposing Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم); and they hasten in (all) good works; and they are among the righteous.
Yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri wayamuroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAani almunkari wayusariAAoona fee alkhayrati waolaika mina alssaliheena
তারা ভালো কাজ যা কিছুই করে তার প্রতিদান থেকে তাদের কখনো বঞ্চিত করা হবেনা। মুত্তাকিদের ব্যাপারে ভালোভাবে জানেন।
And whatever good they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for Allah knows well those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2).
Wama yafAAaloo min khayrin falan yukfaroohu waAllahu AAaleemun bialmuttaqeena
যারা কুফুরির পথ অবলম্বন করেছে তাদের মাল - সম্পদ এবং আওলাদ ফরযন্দ আল্লাহর কাছে (তাদের) কোনোই কাজে আসবেনা। তারা হবে আগুনের অধিবাসী, সেখানেই থাকবে তারা চিরকাল।
Surely, those who reject Faith (disbelieve in Allah and in Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) as being Allah's Messenger and in all that which he صلى الله عليه وسلم has brought from Allah), neither their properties, nor their offspring will avail them aught against Allah. They are the dwellers of the Fire, therein they will abide. (Tafsir At-Tabari).
Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan waolaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona
তারা দুনিয়ার জীবনে যা ব্যয় করে তার উপমা হলো চরম ঠান্ডা বায়ু। তা ঐ লোকদের ফসলের উপর দিয়ে বয়ে গেলো এবং তা ধ্বংস করে রেখে গেলো যারা নিজেদের উপর যুলুম করেছে। তাদের প্রতি যুলুম করেননি, বরং তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতি যুলুম করেছে।
The likeness of what they spend in this world is the likeness of a wind which is extremely cold; it struck the harvest of a people who did wrong against themselves and destroyed it, (i.e. the good deed of a person is only accepted if he is a monotheist and believes in all the Prophets of Allah, including the Christ عليه السلام and Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). Allah wronged them not, but they wronged themselves.
Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihi alhayati alddunya kamathali reehin feeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamoo anfusahum faahlakathu wama thalamahumu Allahu walakin anfusahum yathlimoona
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা নিজেদের লোক ছাড়া অন্য কাউকেও অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধু হিসেবে গ্রহণ করোনা। তারা তোমাদের ক্ষতি করতে ত্রুটি করবেনা। তারা তাই কামনা করে যা তোমাদের কষ্ট দেয়। তাদের মুখ থেকে বিদ্বেষ প্রকাশ হয়েছে, আর তারা মনের মধ্যে যা লুকিয়ে রেখেছে তা এর চাইতেও গুরুতর। আমরা তোমাদের জন্যে আয়াত সমূহ বর্ণনা করলাম যাতে করে তোমরা বুঝতে পারো।
O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitanah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses) if you understand.
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum la yaloonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badati albaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhum akbaru qad bayyanna lakumu alayati in kuntum taAAqiloona
হ্যাঁ, তোমরা তাদের ভালোবাসো বটে, কিন্তু তারা তোমাদের ভালোবাসেনা। তাছাড়া তোমরা তো সবগুলো (আসমানি) কিতাবের প্রতিই ঈমান রাখো। তারা যখন তোমাদের সাথে মোলাকাত করে তখন বলে: আমরা তো ঈমান এনেছি, কিন্তু যখন তারা (নিজেরা) একান্তে মিলিত হয়, তখন তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে আক্রোশে নিজেদের আংগুল কামড়ায়। তাদের বলো: ‘তোমাদের ক্রোধের আগুনে তোমরা জ্বলে পুড়ে মরো।’ অবশ্যি (মানুষের) মনের খবর অবহিত।
Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not, and you believe in all the Scriptures [i.e. you believe in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), while they disbelieve in your Book, the Qur'an]. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers at you in rage. Say: "Perish in your rage. Certainly, Allah knows what is in the breasts (all the secrets)."
Haantum olai tuhibboonahum wala yuhibboonakum watuminoona bialkitabi kullihi waitha laqookum qaloo amanna waitha khalaw AAaddoo AAalaykumu alanamila mina alghaythi qul mootoo bighaythikum inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori
তোমাদের ভালো কিছু হলে তা তাদের মনে কষ্ট দেয়, আর তোমাদের মন্দ কিছু হলে তা তাদের আনন্দিত করে। হ্যাঁ, তোমরা যদি সবর অবলম্বন করো এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, তবে তাদের ষড়যন্ত্র তোমাদের কোনোই ক্ষতি করতে পারবেনা। তাদের কর্মকান্ড পরিবেষ্টন করে আছেন।
If a good befalls you, it grieves them, but if some evil overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if you remain patient and become Al-Muttaqun [the pious - See V.2:2], not the least harm will their cunning do to you. Surely, Allah surrounds all that they do.
In tamsaskum hasanatun tasuhum wain tusibkum sayyiatun yafrahoo biha wain tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukum kayduhum shayan inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun
স্মরণ করো , তুমি ভোর বেলা তোমার পরিবার পরিজনের কাছ থেকে বের হয়ে যুদ্ধের জন্যে ঘাটিতে মুমিনদের বিন্যাস করছিলে। সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।
And (remember) when you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) left your household in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle (of Uhud). And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
Waith ghadawta min ahlika tubawwio almumineena maqaAAida lilqitali waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun
তখন তোমাদের মধ্যকার দুটি উপদল সাহস হারিয়ে ফেলেছিল, অথচ তাদের অলি (অভিভাবক) ছিলেন , আর মুমিনরা তো তাওয়াক্কুল করে আল্লাহর উপরই।
When two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allah was their Wali (Supporter and Protector). And in Allah should the believers put their trust.
Ith hammat taifatani minkum an tafshala waAllahu waliyyuhuma waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona
এই তো বদর (প্রান্তরেই তো) তোমাদের সাহায্য করেছিলেন, যখন তোমরা ছিলে দুর্বল। সুতরাং আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, যাতে তোমরা শোকর আদায় করতে পারো।
And Allah has already made you victorious at Badr, when you were a weak little force. So fear Allah much that you may be grateful.
Walaqad nasarakumu Allahu bibadrin waantum athillatun faittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tashkuroona
স্মরণ করো, তখন তুমি মুমিনদের বলছিলে: এটা কি তোমাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট নয় যে, তোমাদের প্রভু তিন হাজার ফেরেশতা পাঠিয়ে তোমাদের সাহায্য করবেন?
(Remember) when you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) said to the believers, "Is it not enough for you that your Lord (Allah) should help you with three thousand angels sent down?"
Ith taqoolu lilmumineena alan yakfiyakum an yumiddakum rabbukum bithalathati alafin mina almalaikati munzaleena
হ্যাঁ, তোমরা যদি সবর করো (অটল থাকো) এবং সতর্ক থাকো, তবে তারা আকস্মিক তোমাদের উপর হামলা করলে পাঁচ হাজার চিহ্নিত ফেরেশতা দিয়ে তোমাদের সাহায্য করবেন।
"Yes, if you hold on to patience and piety, and the enemy comes rushing at you; your Lord will help you with five thousand angels having marks (of distinction)."
Bala in tasbiroo watattaqoo wayatookum min fawrihim hatha yumdidkum rabbukum bikhamsati alafin mina almalaikati musawwimeena
এ ব্যবস্থা করেছেন কেবল তোমাদের জন্যে সুসংবাদ হিসেবে এবং তোমাদের মনের প্রশান্তির জন্যে। সাহায্য তো কেবল মহাপরাক্রমশালী ও মহাবিজ্ঞানী আল্লাহর কাছ থেকেই আসে,
Allah made it not but as a message of good news for you and as an assurance to your hearts. And there is no victory except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illa bushra lakum walitatmainna quloobukum bihi wama alnnasru illa min AAindi Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeemi
কাফিরদের এক অংশকে নিশ্চিহ্ন কিংবা লাঞ্ছিত করার জন্যে, যাতে করে তারা নিরাশ হয়ে ফিরে যায়।
That He might cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or expose them to infamy, so that they retire frustrated.
LiyaqtaAAa tarafan mina allatheena kafaroo aw yakbitahum fayanqaliboo khaibeena
এ ব্যাপারে তোমার কিছুমাত্র কর্তৃত্ব নেই তাদের ক্ষমা করুন কিংবা শাস্তি প্রদান করুন, কারণ তারা যালিম।
Not for you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, but for Allah) is the decision; whether He turns in mercy to (pardons) them or punishes them; verily, they are the Zalimun (polytheists, disobedients, and wrong-doers).
Laysa laka mina alamri shayon aw yatooba AAalayhim aw yuAAaththibahum fainnahum thalimoona
মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করে দেন এবং যাকে চান শাস্তি দিয়ে থাকেন। পরম ক্ষমাশীল দয়াময়।
And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. He forgives whom He wills, and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Walillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibu man yashao waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা সুদ খেয়োনা ক্রমবর্ধমান হারে। আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, আশা করা যায় তোমরা হবে।
O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be .
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takuloo alrriba adAAafan mudaAAafatan waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tuflihoona
তোমরা ভয় করো সেই আগুনকে যা তৈরি করে রাখা হয়েছে কাফিরদের জন্যে।
And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers.
Waittaqoo alnnara allatee oAAiddat lilkafireena
তোমরা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করো এবং এই রসূলের, অবশ্যি তোমাদের রহম (অনুকম্পা) করা হবে।
And obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) that you may obtain mercy.
WaateeAAoo Allaha waalrrasoola laAAallakum turhamoona
তোমরা দৌড়ে এসো তোমাদের প্রভুর ক্ষমার দিকে এবং সেই জান্নাতের দিকে যার প্রশস্ততা মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীর মতো। তা প্রস্ত্তত রাখা হয়েছে মুত্তাকিদের জন্যে,
And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2).
WasariAAoo ila maghfiratin min rabbikum wajannatin AAarduha alssamawatu waalardu oAAiddat lilmuttaqeena
যারা ব্যয় (দান) করে সচ্ছল ও অসচ্ছল অবস্থায়, যারা রাগ সংবরণকারী এবং মানুষের প্রতি ক্ষমাশীল - কোমল। আর তো কল্যাণকামীদেরই ভালোবাসেন,
Those who spend (in Allah's Cause) in prosperity and in adversity , who repress anger , and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers).
Allatheena yunfiqoona fee alssarrai waalddarrai waalkathimeena alghaytha waalAAafeena AAani alnnasi waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena
এবং তারা যখনই কোনো ফাহেশা কাজ করে ফেলে, কিংবা নিজেদের প্রতি যুলুম করে বসে, সাথে সাথে আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করে এবং নিজেদের গুনাহের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে, আর ছাড়া কে আছে গুনাহ্ মাফ করার? এবং তারা যা করে ফেলেছে জেনে শুনে পুনরায় আর তাতে লিপ্ত হয়না।
And those who, when they have committed Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can forgive sins but Allah - and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know.
Waallatheena itha faAAaloo fahishatan aw thalamoo anfusahum thakaroo Allaha faistaghfaroo lithunoobihim waman yaghfiru alththunooba illa Allahu walam yusirroo AAala ma faAAaloo wahum yaAAlamoona
এরা সেইসব লোক, যাদের পুরস্কার তাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে ক্ষমা, আর সেইসব জান্নাত যেগুলোর নিচে দিয়ে জারি রয়েছে নদ নদী নহর। চিরকাল থাকবে তারা সেখানে। পুণ্য আমলকারীদের পুরস্কার কতোইনা উত্তম!
For such, the reward is Forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath (Paradise), wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is this reward for the doers (who do righteous deeds according to Allah's Orders).
Olaika jazaohum maghfiratun min rabbihim wajannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha waniAAma ajru alAAamileena
তোমাদের পূর্বে বহু সুন্নত (নিয়ম পন্থা) বিগত হয়েছে। সুতরাং পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করে দেখো (আল্লাহর নিয়ম বিধানকে) অস্বীকারকারীদের পরিণতি কী হয়েছে?
Many similar ways (and mishaps of life) were faced by nations (believers and disbelievers) that have passed away before you (as you have faced in the battle of Uhud), so travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allah, and disobeyed Him and His Messengers).
Qad khalat min qablikum sunanun faseeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena
এই (কুরআন) মানবজাতির জন্যে একটি সুস্পষ্ট বার্তা এবং সতর্ক লোকদের জন্যে জীবন পদ্ধতি ও উপদেশ।
This (the Qur'an) is a plain statement for mankind, a guidance and instruction to those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2).
Hatha bayanun lilnnasi wahudan wamawAAithatun lilmuttaqeena
তোমরা দুর্বল হয়োনা এবং দুঃখ করোনা, তোমরাই বিজয়ী হবে যদি তোমরা হও।
So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.
Wala tahinoo wala tahzanoo waantumu alaAAlawna in kuntum mumineena
তোমরা যদি আঘাত পেয়ে থাকো, তবে অনুরূপ আঘাত তো তোমাদের (প্রতিপক্ষ) লোকেরাও পেয়েছে। মানুষের মাঝে সেই (ভালো মন্দ) দিনগুলোর আমরা আবর্তন ঘটাই, যাতে সাচ্চা ঈমানদারদের জানতে পারেন এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে থেকে কিছু লোককে শহীদ (সাক্ষী) হিসেবে গ্রহণ করতে পারেন। যালিমদের পছন্দ করেন না।
If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).
In yamsaskum qarhun faqad massa alqawma qarhun mithluhu watilka alayyamu nudawiluha bayna alnnasi waliyaAAlama Allahu allatheena amanoo wayattakhitha minkum shuhadaa waAllahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena
আর এ কারণেও যে, মুমিনদের পরিশুদ্ধ করতে চান এবং কাফিরদের চান নিশ্চিহ্ন করতে।
And that Allah may test (or purify) the believers (from sins) and destroy the disbelievers.
Waliyumahhisa Allahu allatheena amanoo wayamhaqa alkafireena
তোমরা কি মনে করে নিয়েছো যে, তোমরা জান্নাতে দাখিল হয়ে যাবে, অথচ এখনো বাস্তবে দেখে নেননি তোমাদের মধ্যে কারা জিহাদ করেছে আর কারা অটল অবিচল থেকেছে।
Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allah tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sabirun (the patient)?
Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannata walamma yaAAlami Allahu allatheena jahadoo minkum wayaAAlama alssabireena
মউতের সাথে সাক্ষাত হবার আগেই তোমরা তা তামান্না (কামনা) করছিলে। এখন তো বাস্তবেই তা দেখে নিলে।
You did indeed wish for death (Ash-Shahadah - martyrdom) before you met it. Now you have seen it openly with your own eyes.
Walaqad kuntum tamannawna almawta min qabli an talqawhu faqad raaytumoohu waantum tanthuroona
মুহাম্মদ একজন রসূল ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়, তার আগেও অনেক রসূল অতীত হয়েছে। সুতরাং সে যদি মরে যায়, কিংবা নিহত হয়, তবে কি তোমরা (ইসলাম ত্যাগ করে) পেছনে ফিরে যাবে? যে কেউ পেছনে ফিরে যাবে সে আল্লাহর কোনোই ক্ষতি করবেনা। অচিরেই শোকরগুজার লোকদের পুরস্কার প্রদান করবেন।
Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.
Wama muhammadun illa rasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu afain mata aw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum waman yanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allaha shayan wasayajzee Allahu alshshakireena
আল্লাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া কোনো ব্যক্তিই মরতে পারেনা। কারণ মৃত্যুর সময় নির্ধারিত। যে দুনিয়ার সওয়াব (পুরস্কার) চায়, আমরা তাকে তা থেকে কিছু দিই, আর যে আখিরাতের সওয়াব চায় আমরা তাকে সেখান থেকে দেবো আর শোকরগুজারদের আমরা অচিরেই পুরস্কার প্রদান করবো।
And no person can ever die except by Allah's Leave and at an appointed term. And whoever desires a reward in (this) world, We shall give him of it; and whoever desires a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give him thereof. And We shall reward the grateful.
Wama kana linafsin an tamoota illa biithni Allahi kitaban muajjalan waman yurid thawaba alddunya nutihi minha waman yurid thawaba alakhirati nutihi minha wasanajzee alshshakireena
বহু নবী কিতাল (যুদ্ধ) করেছে, তাদের সাথে ছিলো অনেক আল্লাহওয়ালা লোক। আল্লাহর পথে তাদের যেসব বিপদ মসিবত ঘটেছিল তাতে তাদের মন ভেঙ্গে পড়েনি তারা দুর্বলতাও দেখায়নি এবং নতিও স্বীকার করেনি। আর (ঈমানের উপর) অটল অবিচল থাকা লোকদেরই ভালোবাসেন।
And many a Prophet (i.e. many from amongst the Prophets) fought (in Allah's Cause) and along with him (fought) large bands of religious learned men. But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allah's Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allah loves As-Sabirun (the patient).
Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatala maAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahum fee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wama istakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena
তাদের একটিই কথা ছিলো: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের গুনাহ্খাতা মাফ করে দাও, আমাদের কার্যক্রমের সীমালংঘন তুমি ক্ষমা করে দাও, আমাদের কদমকে মজবুত রাখো এবং কওমের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের সাহায্য করো।’
And they said nothing but: "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk."
Wama kana qawlahum illa an qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobana waisrafana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamana waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena
ফলে তাদের দান করেন দুনিয়ার সওয়াব (পুরস্কার) এবং আখিরাতের উত্তম সওয়াব। আর তো মুহ্সিন (কল্যাণকামী) লোকদেরই ভালোবাসেন।
So Allah gave them the reward of this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers - See the footnote of V.3:134 and of V.9:120).
Faatahumu Allahu thawaba alddunya wahusna thawabi alakhirati waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা কাফিরদের আনুগত্য করলে তারা তোমাদের পেছনে (কুফুরিতে) ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে যাবে। ফলে তোমরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়ে পড়বে।
O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve, they will send you back on your heels, and you will turn back (from Faith) as losers.
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in tuteeAAoo allatheena kafaroo yaruddookum AAala aAAqabikum fatanqaliboo khasireena
বরং, আল্লাহ্ই তোমাদের একমাত্র মাওলা (অভিভাবক) এবং তিনিই সর্বোত্তম সাহায্যকারী।
Nay, Allah is your Maula (Patron, Lord, Helper, Protector), and He is the Best of helpers.
Bali Allahu mawlakum wahuwa khayru alnnasireena
আমরা অচিরেই কাফিরদের মনে ভয় ও আতংক সৃষ্টি করে দেবো, কারণ তারা আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করেছে, যার সপক্ষে কোনো প্রমাণ নাযিল করেননি। আগুনই হবে তাদের আবাস। যালিমদের আবাসস্থল কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট!
We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).
Sanulqee fee quloobi allatheena kafaroo alrruAAba bima ashrakoo biAllahi ma lam yunazzil bihi sultanan wamawahumu alnnaru wabisa mathwa alththalimeena
তাঁর ওয়াদা সত্যে পরিণত করেছিলেন যখন তোমরা তাঁর অনুমতিক্রমে ওদের নিপাত করছিলে - যে পর্যন্ত না তোমরা সাহস হারিয়েছিলে এবং নির্দেশ নিয়ে বিতর্কে লিপ্ত হয়েছিলে এবং যা তোমরা চাইছিলে তা তোমাদের দেখানোর পর তোমরা অবাধ্য হয়েছিলে। তোমাদের কিছুলোক দুনিয়া চাইছিল আর কিছু লোক চাইছিল । তারপর তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করার উদ্দেশ্যে তোমাদের ফিরিয়ে দিলেন তাদের থেকে। অবশ্য তোমাদের ক্ষমা করে দিয়েছেন। মুমিনদের প্রতি বড়ই অনুগ্রহশীল।
And Allah did indeed fulfil His Promise to you when you were killing them (your enemy) with His Permission; until (the moment) you lost your courage and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed after He showed you (of the booty) which you love. Among you are some that desire this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then He made you flee from them (your enemy), that He might test you. But surely, He forgave you, and Allah is Most Gracious to the believers.
Walaqad sadaqakumu Allahu waAAdahu ith tahussoonahum biithnihi hatta itha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee alamri waAAasaytum min baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboona minkum man yureedu alddunya waminkum man yureedu alakhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakum walaqad AAafa AAankum waAllahu thoo fadlin AAala almumineena
স্মরণ করো, তোমরা দৌড়ে উপরে উঠছিলে এবং পেছনে ফিরে কারো দিকে লক্ষ্য করছিলে না, অথচ আল্লাহর রসূল তোমাদের পেছন থেকে ডাকছিল। ফলে তিনি তোমাদের বিপদের উপর বিপদ চাপিয়ে দিলেন, যাতে করে তোমরা যা হারিয়েছো কিংবা যে বিপদ তোমাদের উপর এসেছে তার জন্যে দুঃখিত না হও। তোমাদের আমল সম্পর্কে বিশেষভাবে খবর রাখেন।
(And remember) when you ran away (dreadfully) without even casting a side glance at anyone, and the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) was in your rear calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital to teach you not to grieve for that which had escaped you, nor for that which had befallen you. And Allah is Well-Aware of all that you do.
Ith tusAAidoona wala talwoona AAala ahadin waalrrasoolu yadAAookum fee okhrakum faathabakum ghamman bighammin likayla tahzanoo AAala ma fatakum wala ma asabakum waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona
তারপর দুঃখ দুশ্চিন্তার পর তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি নাযিল করলেন প্রশান্তি তন্দ্রা আকারে, যা তোমাদের একদল লোককে আচ্ছন্ন করে নিয়েছিল। কিন্তু আরেকদল জাহেলি যুগের অজ্ঞদের মতো সম্পর্কে অবাস্তব ধারণা করে নিজেরাই নিজেদের এই বলে উদ্বিগ্ন করছিল: ‘আমাদের কি (ক্ষমতায়) কোনো অধিকার আছে?’ (হে নবী!) তাদের বলো: ‘হুকুম দানের ক্ষমতা পুরোটাই আল্লাহর।’ তারা এমন বিষয় তাদের অন্তরে গোপন রাখে যা তোমার কাছে প্রকাশ করেনা। তারা বলে: ‘নির্দেশ প্রদানে যদি আমাদের অধিকার থাকতো, তবে আমাদের (লোকদের) এখানে নিহত হতে হতোনা।’ হে নবী! তাদের বলো: ‘তোমরা যদি তোমাদের ঘরেও অবস্থান করতে, তারপরও নিহত হওয়া যাদের জন্যে নির্ধারিত ছিলো তারা অবশ্যি নিজেদের মরণের জায়গায় বেরিয়ে আসতো।’ এর কারণ হলো, তোমাদের মনে যা আছে তা পরীক্ষা করতে চান এবং তোমাদের সংশোধন ও পরিশুদ্ধ করতে চান। অন্তরের খবর বিশেষভাবে জানেন।
Then after the distress, He sent down security for you. Slumber overtook a party of you, while another party was thinking about themselves (as how to save their ownselves, ignoring the others and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) and thought wrongly of Allah - the thought of ignorance. They said, "Have we any part in the affair?" Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Indeed the affair belongs wholly to Allah." They hide within themselves what they dare not reveal to you, saying: "If we had anything to do with the affair, none of us would have been killed here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death," but that Allah might test what is in your breasts; and to purify that which was in your hearts (sins), and Allah is All-Knower of what is in (your) breasts.
Thumma anzala AAalaykum min baAAdi alghammi amanatan nuAAasan yaghsha taifatan minkum wataifatun qad ahammathum anfusuhum yathunnoona biAllahi ghayra alhaqqi thanna aljahiliyyati yaqooloona hal lana mina alamri min shayin qul inna alamra kullahu lillahi yukhfoona fee anfusihim ma la yubdoona laka yaqooloona law kana lana mina alamri shayon ma qutilna hahuna qul law kuntum fee buyootikum labaraza allatheena kutiba AAalayhimu alqatlu ila madajiAAihim waliyabtaliya Allahu ma fee sudoorikum waliyumahhisa ma fee quloobikum waAllahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori
তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে যারা দুই দলের পরস্পর সম্মুখীন হবার দিন পলায়ন করে চলে গিয়েছিল, নিশ্চয়ই শয়তান তাদের কোনো কৃতকর্মের জন্যে তাদের পদস্খলন ঘটিয়েছিল। অবশ্য তোমাদের মাফ করে দিয়েছেন। নিশ্চয়ই পরম ক্ষমাশীল ও সহনশীল।
Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts met (i.e. the battle of Uhud), it was Shaitan (Satan) who caused them to backslide (run away from the battlefield) because of some (sins) they had earned. But Allah, indeed, has forgiven them. Surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.
Inna allatheena tawallaw minkum yawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumu alshshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboo walaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allaha ghafoorun haleemun
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা ঐসব লোকদের মতো হয়োনা যারা কুফুরি করে এবং তাদের ভাইদের বলে যখন তারা বিভিন্ন দেশে ভ্রমণ করে কিংবা যুদ্ধরত থাকে: ‘তারা যদি আমাদের কাছে থাকতো, তাহলে মরতোওনা এবং নিহতও হতোনা।’ এসব কথাকে তাদের মনস্তাপের কারণ বানিয়ে দেন। আল্লাহ্ই তো জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু দান করেন। তোমরা যা করো সে বিষয়ে দৃষ্টি রাখছেন।
O you who believe! Be not like those who disbelieve (hypocrites) and who say to their brethren when they travel through the earth or go out to fight: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed," so that Allah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts. It is Allah that gives life and causes death. And Allah is All-Seer of what you do.
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takoonoo kaallatheena kafaroo waqaloo liikhwanihim itha daraboo fee alardi aw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana ma matoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalika hasratan fee quloobihim waAllahu yuhyee wayumeetu waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun
তোমরা যদি আল্লাহর পথে নিহত হও কিংবা মৃত্যুবরণ করো, তবে জেনে রেখো, ওরা যা জমা করে তা থেকে আল্লাহর ক্ষমা এবং রহমত অনেক ভালো।
And if you are killed or die in the Way of Allah, forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far better than all that they amass (of worldly wealths).
Walain qutiltum fee sabeeli Allahi aw muttum lamaghfiratun mina Allahi warahmatun khayrun mimma yajmaAAoona
তোমরা যদি আল্লাহর পথে মৃত্যুবরণ করো কিংবা নিহত হও, তবে জেনে রাখো, আল্লাহর কাছেই তোমাদের হাশর করা হবে।
And whether you die, or are killed, verily, unto Allah you shall be gathered.
Walain muttum aw qutiltum laila Allahi tuhsharoona
(হে মুহাম্মদ!) এটা আল্লাহরই রহমত যে, তুমি তাদের প্রতি কোমল! তুমি যদি তাদের প্রতি কঠোর - হৃদয় হতে, তবে তারা তোমার চারপাশ থেকে সরে পড়তো। সুতরাং তাদের ক্ষমা করে দাও এবং তাদের জন্যে (আল্লাহর কাছে) ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করো, আর কার্য পরিচালনায় তাদের সাথে পরামর্শ করো। অতপর যখন সংকল্প (সিদ্ধান্ত) গ্রহণ করবে আল্লাহর উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করবে, নিশ্চয়ই তাওয়াক্কুলকারীদের পছন্দ করেন।
And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allah's) Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).
Fabima rahmatin mina Allahi linta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleetha alqalbi lainfaddoo min hawlika faoAAfu AAanhum waistaghfir lahum washawirhum fee alamri faitha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahi inna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileena
তোমাদের সাহায্য করলে তোমাদের উপর জয়ী হবার কেউই থাকবেনা, আর তিনি যদি তোমাদের সাহায্য না করেন, তবে তিনি ছাড়া কে আছে তোমাদের সাহায্য করবে? মুমিনরা কেবল আল্লাহর উপরই তাওয়াক্কুল করুক।
If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allah (Alone) let believers put their trust.
In yansurkumu Allahu fala ghaliba lakum wain yakhthulkum faman tha allathee yansurukum min baAAdihi waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona
কোনো নবীর পক্ষে অন্যায়ভাবে কোনো কিছু গোপন করা অসম্ভব। যে কেউ অন্যায়ভাবে কিছু গোপন করবে সে কিয়ামতের দিন তা নিয়ে উপস্থিত হবে। অতপর প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিকে সে যা উপার্জন করেছে তার প্রতিদান পুরোপুরি দেয়া হবে এবং তাদের প্রতি কোনো প্রকার যুলুম করা হবেনা।
It is not for any Prophet to take illegally a part of booty (Ghulul ), and whosoever deceives his companions as regards the booty, he shall bring forth on the Day of Resurrection that which he took (illegally). Then every person shall be paid in full what he has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
Wama kana linabiyyin an yaghulla waman yaghlul yati bima ghalla yawma alqiyamati thumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির অনুসরণ করে সে কি ঐ ব্যক্তির মতো যে আল্লাহর ক্রোধ ও অসন্তুষ্টির পাত্র হয়েছে এবং যার আবাস হবে জাহান্নাম? - যা খুবই নিকৃষ্ট ফিরে আসার জায়গা।
Is then one who follows (seeks) the good Pleasure of Allah (by not taking illegally a part of the booty) like the one who draws on himself the Wrath of Allah (by taking a part of the booty illegally - Ghulul)? - his abode is Hell, and worst, indeed is that destination!
Afamani ittabaAAa ridwana Allahi kaman baa bisakhatin mina Allahi wamawahu jahannamu wabisa almaseeru
আল্লাহর কাছে তাদের স্তর বিভিন্ন। তারা যা করে তা আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতেই রয়েছে।
They are in varying grades with Allah, and Allah is All-Seer of what they do.
Hum darajatun AAinda Allahi waAllahu baseerun bima yaAAmaloona
মুমিনদের প্রতি বড়ই অনুগ্রহ করেছেন, তিনি তাদের নিজেদের মধ্য থেকেই তাদের কাছে একজন রসূল পাঠিয়েছেন, সে তাদের প্রতি তিলাওয়াত করে তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ, তাদের তাযকিয়া (পবিত্র ও পরিশুদ্ধ) করে, তাদের শিক্ষা দান করে আল কিতাব (আল কুরআন) এবং হিকমাহ, যদিও ইতোপূর্বে তারা নিমজ্জিত ছিলো সুস্পষ্ট গোমরাহিতে।
Indeed Allah conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur'an), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur'an) and Al-Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.
Laqad manna Allahu AAala almumineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihim yatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wain kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin
তোমাদের উপর যখন বিপদ এসেছিল তখন তোমরা বলেছিলে: ‘কোত্থেকে এলো এ বিপদ?’ অথচ তোমরা তো (উহুদের দিন) দ্বিগুণ বিপদ ঘটিয়েছিলে। হে নবী তাদের বলো: এটা তোমাদের নিজেদের থেকেই। নিশ্চয়ই সব বিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।
(What is the matter with you?) When a single disaster smites you, although you smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, you say: "From where does this come to us?" Say (to them), "It is from yourselves (because of your evil deeds)." And Allah has power over all things.
Awalamma asabatkum museebatun qad asabtum mithlayha qultum anna hatha qul huwa min AAindi anfusikum inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
দুই দলের মোকাবেলার দিন তোমাদের যে বিপর্যয় ঘটেছিল, তা আল্লাহর অনুমতিক্রমেই ঘটেছিল যাতে করে তিনি মুমিনদের অবস্থা জেনে নেন।
And what you suffered (of the disaster) on the day (of the battle of Uhud when) the two armies met, was by the leave of Allah, in order that He might test the believers.
Wama asabakum yawma iltaqa aljamAAani fabiithni Allahi waliyaAAlama almumineena
এটা এ জন্যেও যে, তিনি যেনো মুনাফিকদের (বাস্তবে) জেনে নেন। তাদের বলা হয়েছিল, এসো আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করো অথবা প্রতিরোধ করো। তারা বললো: ‘যুদ্ধ হবে যদি জানতাম তবে অবশ্যি তোমাদের অনুসরণ করতাম।’ সেদিন তারা ছিলো ঈমানের চাইতে কুফুরির অধিকতর নিকটে। তারা মুখে এমন কথা বলে যা তাদের অন্তরে নেই। ভালো করেই জানেন যা তারা গোপন করে।
And that He might test the hypocrites, it was said to them: "Come, fight in the Way of Allah or (at least) defend yourselves." They said: "Had we known that fighting will take place, we would certainly have followed you." They were that day, nearer to disbelief than to Faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah has full knowledge of what they conceal.
WaliyaAAlama allatheena nafaqoo waqeela lahum taAAalaw qatiloo fee sabeeli Allahi awi idfaAAoo qaloo law naAAlamu qitalan laittabaAAnakum hum lilkufri yawmaithin aqrabu minhum lileemani yaqooloona biafwahihim ma laysa fee quloobihim waAllahu aAAlamu bima yaktumoona
যারা (যুদ্ধে না গিয়ে) তাদের ভাইদের সম্পর্কে বলেছিল, তারা যদি আমাদের কথা শুনতো তবে নিহত হতোনা। তাদের বলো: ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে নিজেদেরকে মরণ থেকে রক্ষা করো।’
(They are) the ones who said about their killed brethren while they themselves sat (at home): "If only they had listened to us, they would not have been killed." Say: "Avert death from your ownselves, if you speak the truth."
Allatheena qaloo liikhwanihim waqaAAadoo law ataAAoona ma qutiloo qul faidraoo AAan anfusikumu almawta in kuntum sadiqeena
যারা আল্লাহর পথে নিহত হয়েছে তাদের মৃত বলোনা; বরং তারা জীবিত এবং তাদের প্রভুর নিকট থেকে জীবিকাপ্রাপ্ত।
Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.
Wala tahsabanna allatheena qutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaon AAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona
তাঁর অনুগ্রহে তাদের যা দিয়েছেন তাতে তারা আনন্দিত এবং তাদের পেছনে যারা এখনো তাদের সাথে মিলিত হয়নি তাদের সুসংবাদ প্রদান করছে যে: ‘তাদের কোনো ভয় নেই এবং কোনো দুঃখও তাদের থাকবেনা।’
They rejoice in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounty and rejoice for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind (not yet martyred) that on them no fear shall come, nor shall they grieve.
Fariheena bima atahumu Allahu min fadlihi wayastabshiroona biallatheena lam yalhaqoo bihim min khalfihim alla khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona
আল্লাহর নিয়ামত ও ফজল করমের (অনুগ্রহের) জন্যে তারা খুশি ও আনন্দ প্রকাশ করে এবং এটা জেনে যে, মুমিনদের কর্মফল বিনষ্ট করেননা।
They rejoice in a Grace and a Bounty from Allah, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.
Yastabshiroona biniAAmatin mina Allahi wafadlin waanna Allaha la yudeeAAu ajra almumineena
যারা আহত হবার পরও এবং তাঁর রসূলের ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছে, যারা ইহ্সান এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করেছে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরাট পুরস্কার।
Those who answered (the Call of) Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) after being wounded; for those of them who did good deeds and feared Allah, there is a great reward.
Allatheena istajaboo lillahi waalrrasooli min baAAdi ma asabahumu alqarhu lillatheena ahsanoo minhum waittaqaw ajrun AAatheemun
লোকেরা তাদের বলেছিল: ‘তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে বিরাট বাহিনী সমবেত হয়েছে তাদের ভয় করো।’ - একথা শুনে তাদের ঈমান বেড়ে গিয়েছিল এবং তারা বলেছিল: ‘হাসবুনাল্লাহু অনি’মাল অকিল - আমাদের জন্যে আল্লাহ্ই যথেষ্ট, তিনিই সর্বোত্তম উকিল - (কর্মসম্পাদনকারী)।’
Those (i.e. believers) unto whom the people (hypocrites) said, "Verily, the people (pagans) have gathered against you (a great army), therefore, fear them." But it (only) increased them in Faith, and they said: "Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us). "
Allatheena qala lahumu alnnasu inna alnnasa qad jamaAAoo lakum faikhshawhum fazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbuna Allahu waniAAma alwakeelu
ফলে তারা আল্লাহর নিয়ামত ও ফজল - করম সহ (যুদ্ধ থেকে) ফিরে আসে। তাদের স্পর্শ করেনি কোনো মন্দ। তারা অনুসরণ করেছিল আল্লাহর রেজামন্দির। আর বড় ফজল - করম ওয়ালা।
So they returned with Grace and Bounty from Allah. No harm touched them; and they followed the good Pleasure of Allah. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.
Fainqalaboo biniAAmatin mina Allahi wafadlin lam yamsashum sooon waittabaAAoo ridwana Allahi waAllahu thoo fadlin AAatheemin
এটা ছিলো শয়তানেরই কাজ, সে ভয় দেখায় তার বন্ধুদের। কখনো তাদের ভয় করোনা। হয়ে থাকলে তোমরা কেবল আমাকেই ভয় করো।
It is only Shaitan (Satan) that suggests to you the fear of his Auliya' [supporters and friends (polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger, Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)]; so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers.
Innama thalikumu alshshaytanu yukhawwifu awliyaahu fala takhafoohum wakhafooni in kuntum mumineena
তোমরা দুঃখিত হয়োনা ওদের আচরণে, যারা দ্রুত ধাবিত হয় কুফুরির দিকে। তারা আল্লাহর কোনোই ক্ষতি করতে পারবেনা। আখিরাতে ওদের কোনো অংশ দেয়ার এরাদা করেন না। সেখানে তাদের জন্যে থাকবে বিশাল আযাব।
And let not those grieve you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) who rush with haste to disbelieve; verily, not the least harm will they do to Allah. It is Allah's Will to give them no portion in the Hereafter. For them there is a great torment.
Wala yahzunka allatheena yusariAAoona fee alkufri innahum lan yadurroo Allaha shayan yureedu Allahu alla yajAAala lahum haththan fee alakhirati walahum AAathabun AAatheemun
যারা ঈমানের বিনিময়ে কুফুরি ক্রয় করেছে, তারা আল্লাহর কোনো ক্ষতি করতে পারবেনা। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Verily, those who purchase disbelief at the price of Faith, not the least harm will they do to Allah. For them, there is a painful torment.
Inna allatheena ishtarawoo alkufra bialeemani lan yadurroo Allaha shayan walahum AAathabun aleemun
কাফিররা যেনো এ ধারণা না করে যে, আমরা অবকাশ দিচ্ছি তাদের কল্যাণের জন্যে, বরং আমরা অবকাশ দিচ্ছি এজন্যে, যেনো তারা তাদের পাপ বাড়িয়ে নেয়। আর তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অপমানকর আযাব।
And let not the disbelievers think that Our postponing of their punishment is good for them. We postpone the punishment only so that they may increase in sinfulness. And for them is a disgracing torment.
Wala yahsabanna allatheena kafaroo annama numlee lahum khayrun lianfusihim innama numlee lahum liyazdadoo ithman walahum AAathabun muheenun
তোমরা এখন যে অবস্থায় আছো মুমিনদের এ অবস্থায় রেখে দেবেন না, তিনি খবিছ লোকদেরকে ভালো লোকদের থেকে আলাদা করেই ছাড়বেন। তোমাদের কাছে প্রকাশ করা আল্লাহর কাজ নয়, তবে (এ জন্যে) তাঁর রসূলদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা মনোনীত করেন। সুতরাং তোমরা ঈমান আনো আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং তাঁর রসূলদের প্রতি। তোমরা যদি ঈমান আনো এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করো, তবে তোমাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিশাল পুরস্কার।
Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now, until He distinguishes the wicked from the good. Nor will Allah disclose to you the secrets of the Ghaib (unseen), but Allah chooses of His Messengers whom He wills. So believe in Allah and His Messengers. And if you believe and fear Allah, then for you there is a great reward.
Ma kana Allahu liyathara almumineena AAala ma antum AAalayhi hatta yameeza alkhabeetha mina alttayyibi wama kana Allahu liyutliAAakum AAala alghaybi walakinna Allaha yajtabee min rusulihi man yashao faaminoo biAllahi warusulihi wain tuminoo watattaqoo falakum ajrun AAatheemun
যারা বখিলি করে নিজ অনুগ্রহ থেকে তাদের যা দিয়েছেন তার ব্যাপারে, তারা যেনো মনে না করে যে এটা তাদের জন্যে ভালো। বরং এতে রয়েছে তাদের জন্যে অনিষ্ট। যা নিয়ে তারা কৃপণতা করে, কিয়ামতের দিন তাই হবে তাদের গলার বেড়ি। মহাকাশ এবং এই পৃথিবীর স্বত্ত্বাধিকার একমাত্র আল্লাহর। তোমাদের আমল সম্পর্কে বিশেষভাবে খবর রাখেন।
And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allah has bestowed on them of His Bounty (Wealth) think that it is good for them (and so they do not pay the obligatory Zakat ). Nay, it will be worse for them; the things which they covetously withheld shall be tied to their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection . And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Well-Acquainted with all that you do.
Wala yahsabanna allatheena yabkhaloona bima atahummu Allahu min fadlihi huwa khayran lahum bal huwa sharrun lahum sayutawwaqoona ma bakhiloo bihi yawma alqiyamati walillahi meerathu alssamawati waalardi waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun
তাদের কথা শুনেছেন যারা বলে: ‘ হলেন ফকির আর আমরা ধনী।’ তারা যা বলে এবং তাদের না হকভাবে নবীদের হত্যার বিষয়টি আমরা লিখে রাখবো। (কিয়ামতের দিন) আমরা তাদের বলবো: ‘স্বাদ গ্রহণ করো দগ্ধ হবার আযাবের।’
Indeed, Allah has heard the statement of those (Jews) who say: "Truly, Allah is poor and we are rich!" We shall record what they have said and their killing of the Prophets unjustly, and We shall say: "Taste you the torment of the burning (Fire)."
Laqad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatheena qaloo inna Allaha faqeerun wanahnu aghniyaon sanaktubu ma qaloo waqatlahumu alanbiyaa bighayri haqqin wanaqoolu thooqoo AAathaba alhareeqi
এটা তোমাদেরই কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল। এর কারণ এটাও যে, তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি যালিম (অবিচারক) নন।
This is because of that (evil) which your hands have sent before you. And certainly, Allah is never unjust to (His) slaves.
Thalika bima qaddamat aydeekum waanna Allaha laysa bithallamin lilAAabeedi
যারা বলে: ‘ আমাদের আদেশ দিয়েছেন, আমরা যেনো ততোক্ষণ পর্যন্ত কোনো রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান না আনি, যতোক্ষণ না সে আমাদের কাছে এমন এক কুরবানি হাজির করবে যাকে আগুন গ্রাস করে নেবে।’ (হে মুহাম্মদ!) তাদের বলো: আমার আগে তো তোমাদের কাছে অনেক রসূল এসেছিলেন সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ ও নিদর্শন সমূহ নিয়ে এবং তোমরা যা বলছো তা নিয়ে, তারপরও কেন তোমরা তাদের হত্যা করেছিলে যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকো?
Those (Jews) who said: "Verily, Allah has taken our promise not to believe in any Messenger unless he brings to us an offering which the fire (from heaven) shall devour." Say: "Verily, there came to you Messengers before me, with clear signs and even with what you speak of; why then did you kill them, if you are truthful?"
Allatheena qaloo inna Allaha AAahida ilayna alla numina lirasoolin hatta yatiyana biqurbanin takuluhu alnnaru qul qad jaakum rusulun min qablee bialbayyinati wabiallathee qultum falima qataltumoohum in kutum sadiqeena
(হে মুহাম্মদ!) তারা যদি তোমাকে মিথ্যা আখ্যায়িত করে অস্বীকার করেই, তবে তোমার পূর্বেও তারা বহু রসূলকে অস্বীকার করেছিল যারা সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণসমূহ, যবুর (ছোট কিতাব) এবং আলো বিতরণকারী কিতাব নিয়ে (তাদের কাছে) এসেছিল।
Then if they reject you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), so were Messengers rejected before you, who came with Al-Bayyinat (clear signs, proofs, evidence) and the Scripture and the Book of Enlightenment.
Fain kaththabooka faqad kuththiba rusulun min qablika jaoo bialbayyinati waalzzuburi waalkitabi almuneeri
প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিই মউতের স্বাদ গ্রহণ করবে। কিয়ামতকালে তোমাদের কাজের প্রতিদান তোমাদের পুরোপুরি দেয়া হবে। তখন যাকে জাহান্নাম থেকে রক্ষা করা হবে এবং দাখিল করা হবে জান্নাতে, সে - ই হবে । দুনিয়ার হায়াতটা প্রতারণার বস্ত্ত ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়।
Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is . The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).
Kullu nafsin thaiqatu almawti wainnama tuwaffawna ojoorakum yawma alqiyamati faman zuhziha AAani alnnari waodkhila aljannata faqad faza wama alhayatu alddunya illa mataAAu alghuroori
তোমাদের মাল - সম্পদ এবং তোমাদের জীবন সম্পর্কে অবশ্য অবশ্যি তোমাদের পরীক্ষা নেয়া হবে। তাছাড়া তোমাদের আগে যাদের কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল তাদের থেকে এবং মুশরিকদের থেকে তোমরা অবশ্য অবশ্যি অনেক কষ্টদায়ক কথা শুনবে। তবে তোমরা যদি (তোমাদের আদর্শের উপর) অটল থাকো এবং সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করো তবে এটাই হবে মজবুত সংকল্পের কাজ।
You shall certainly be tried and tested in your wealth and properties and in your personal selves, and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you (Jews and Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to Allah; but if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2) then verily, that will be a determining factor in all affairs (and that is from the great matters which you must hold on with all your efforts).
Latublawunna fee amwalikum waanfusikum walatasmaAAunna mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum wamina allatheena ashrakoo athan katheeran wain tasbiroo watattaqoo fainna thalika min AAazmi alomoori
স্মরণ করো, যাদের কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল তাদের থেকে এই অংগীকার নিয়েছিলেন: ‘তোমরা তা (তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত কিতাব) মানুষের জন্যে প্রকাশ করবে এবং তা গোপন করবেনা।’ কিন্তু তা সত্ত্বেও তারা তা অগ্রাহ্য করে এবং এর বিনিময়ে তারা ক্রয় করে নগণ্য স্বার্থ। তারা যা ক্রয় করে তা কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট!
(And remember) when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And indeed worst is that which they bought.
Waith akhatha Allahu meethaqa allatheena ootoo alkitaba latubayyinunnahu lilnnasi wala taktumoonahu fanabathoohu waraa thuhoorihim waishtaraw bihi thamanan qaleelan fabisa ma yashtaroona
তারা যা করেছে তাতে আনন্দ প্রকাশ করে, আর যা করেনি তার জন্যে প্রশংসার পাত্র হতে চায়। তারা আযাব থেকে রক্ষা পাবে - এমন ধারণা করোনা। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Think not that those who rejoice in what they have done (or brought about), and love to be praised for what they have not done, - think not you that they are rescued from the torment, and for them is a painful torment.
La tahsabanna allatheena yafrahoona bima ataw wayuhibboona an yuhmadoo bima lam yafAAaloo fala tahsabannahum bimafazatin mina alAAathabi walahum AAathabun aleemun
মহাকাশ এবং এই পৃথিবীর কর্তৃত্ব একমাত্র আল্লাহর, আর প্রত্যেক বিষয়ে শক্তিমান।
And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah has power over all things.
Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi waAllahu AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টিতে এবং রাত ও দিনের আবর্তনের মধ্যে রয়েছে জ্ঞান - বুদ্ধি সম্পন্ন লোকদের জন্যে অনেক নিদর্শন,
Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.
Inna fee khalqi alssamawati waalardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahari laayatin liolee alalbabi
যারা আল্লাহকে যিকির করে দাঁড়িয়ে, বসে ও শুয়ে এবং যারা চিন্তা ফিকির করে মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টি নিয়ে আর বলে: ‘‘আমাদের প্রভু! তুমি এসব অকারণে সৃষ্টি করোনি, তুমি সব কিছুর ত্রুটিমুক্ত নিখুঁত পরিচালক। অতএব তুমি আমাদের রক্ষা করো আগুনের আযাব থেকে।
Those who remember Allah (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.
Allatheena yathkuroona Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihim wayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waalardi rabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanaka faqina AAathaba alnnari
আমাদের প্রভু! নিশ্চয়ই তুমি যাকে দাখিল করবে আগুনে, তাকে অবশ্যি লাঞ্ছিত করে ছাড়বে, আর যালিমদের জন্যে থাকবেনা কোনোই সাহায্যকারী।
"Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him; and never will the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers.
Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnara faqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeena min ansarin
আমাদের প্রভু! আমরা শুনেছি একজন আহবায়ককে আহবান করছেন ঈমানের দিকে (এই বলে:) ‘তোমরা ঈমান আনো তোমাদের প্রভুর প্রতি’। (তাঁর আহবানে সাড়া দিয়ে) আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। আমাদের প্রভু! অতএব তুমি ক্ষমা করে দাও আমাদের সমস্ত পাপ, আমাদের থেকে ঢেকে মুছে দাও আমাদের সমস্ত মন্দকর্ম ও ত্রুটি বিচ্যুতি, আর আমাদের ওফাত দান করো পুণ্যবানদের সাথে।
"Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism).
Rabbana innana samiAAna munadiyan yunadee lileemani an aminoo birabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfir lana thunoobana wakaffir AAanna sayyiatina watawaffana maAAa alabrari
আমাদের প্রভু! তোমার রসূলদের মাধ্যমে আমাদের যা দেবে বলে ওয়াদা দিয়েছো তা আমাদের দাও আর কিয়ামতের দিন আমাদের অপমানিত করোনা। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি খেলাফ করোনা ওয়াদা।’’
"Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise."
Rabbana waatina ma waAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzina yawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAada
ফলে তাদের প্রভু তাদের দোয়ার জওয়াব দিয়েছেন এই বলে: ‘আমি তোমাদের কোনো পুরুষ বা নারী আমলকারীর আমল বিনষ্ট করিনা। তোমরা একই দলের সদস্য। তাই যারাই আমার জন্যে হিজরত করেছে এবং যাদেরকে নিজেদের ঘরবাড়ি থেকে বের করে দেয়া হয়েছে, আমার পথে কষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছে, নির্যাতন করা হয়েছে এবং যারা যুদ্ধ করেছে ও নিহত হয়েছে, আমি অবশ্য অবশ্যি তাদের থেকে মুছে দেবো তাদের পাপ ও দোষত্রুটি এবং অবশ্য অবশ্যি তাদের দাখিল করবো সেইসব জান্নাতে, যেগুলোর নিচে দিয়ে জারি থাকবে নদ - নদী - নহর। এগুলো তারা পাবে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে পুরস্কার হিসেবে আর উত্তম পুরস্কার তো আল্লাহর কাছেই রয়েছে।’
So their Lord accepted of them (their supplication and answered them), "Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are (members) one of another, so those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and suffered harm in My Cause, and who fought, and were killed (in My Cause), verily, I will expiate from them their evil deeds and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); a reward from Allah, and with Allah is the best of rewards."
Faistajaba lahum rabbuhum annee la odeeAAu AAamala AAamilin minkum min thakarin aw ontha baAAdukum min baAAdin faallatheena hajaroo waokhrijoo min diyarihim waoothoo fee sabeelee waqataloo waqutiloo laokaffiranna AAanhum sayyiatihim walaodkhilannahum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu thawaban min AAindi Allahi waAllahu AAindahu husnu alththawabi
যারা কুফুরি করেছে, বিশ্বের বুকে তাদের অবাধ বিচরণ যেনো তোমাদের প্রতারিত না করে।
Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you.
La yaghurrannaka taqallubu allatheena kafaroo fee albiladi
এ তো স্বল্পকালীন ভোগমাত্র। তারপরই তাদের আবাস হবে জাহান্নাম, আর তা যে কতো নিকৃষ্ট ঠিকানা!
A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest.
MataAAun qaleelun thumma mawahum jahannamu wabisa almihadu
তবে যারা তাদের প্রভুকে ভয় করবে, তাদের জন্যে থাকবে জান্নাতসমূহ, যেগুলোর নিচে দিয়ে বহমান থাকবে নদ নদী নহর। চিরকাল থাকবে তারা সেখানে। এ হবে তাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে মেহমানদারি। আর আল্লাহর কাছে যা রয়েছে পুণ্যবানদের জন্যে তাই সর্বোত্তম।
But, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); therein are they to dwell (for ever), an entertainment from Allah; and that which is with Allah is the Best for Al-Abrar (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism).
Lakini allatheena ittaqaw rabbahum lahum jannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha nuzulan min AAindi Allahi wama AAinda Allahi khayrun lilabrari
আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে অবশ্যি এমন লোকও আছে যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি বিনয়ী হয়ে ঈমান আনে, এবং ঈমান আনে তোমাদের কাছে যা (যে কিতাব) নাযিল হয়েছে তার প্রতি এবং তাদের কাছে যা (যে কিতাব) নাযিল হয়েছে তার প্রতি; আর তারা নগণ্য মূল্যে বিক্রয় করেনা আল্লাহর আয়াত। এরা সেইসব লোক যাদের জন্যে তাদের প্রভুর কাছে রয়েছে তাদের পুরস্কার। অবশ্যি দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।
And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in Allah and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allah. They do not sell the Verses of Allah for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, Allah is Swift in account.
Wainna min ahli alkitabi laman yuminu biAllahi wama onzila ilaykum wama onzila ilayhim khashiAAeena lillahi la yashtaroona biayati Allahi thamanan qaleelan olaika lahum ajruhum AAinda rabbihim inna Allaha sareeAAu alhisabi
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা সবর অবলম্বন করো, সবরের প্রতিযোগিতা করো এবং ঐক্যবদ্ধ থাকো, আর ভয় করো আল্লাহকে, অবশ্যি তোমরা হবে।
O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be .
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo isbiroo wasabiroo warabitoo waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tuflihoona
