আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি দেখোনি (হে মুহাম্মদ!) তোমার প্রভু হাতীওয়ালা বাহিনীর সাথে কী আচরণ করেছেন?
Arabic, with marks
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ
Saheeh International
Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant ?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তিনি কি তাদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ করে দেননি?

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ
Saheeh International
Did He not make their plan into misguidance?
Pickthall
Did He not bring their stratagem to naught,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তিনি তাদের উপর পাঠিয়েছিলেন ঝাঁকে ঝাঁকে পাখি।

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
Saheeh International
And He sent against them birds in flocks,
Pickthall
And send against them swarms of flying creatures,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা তাদের উপর পাকা মাটির পাথর নিক্ষেপ করেছিল।
Arabic, with marks
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
Saheeh International
Striking them with stones of hard clay,
Pickthall
Which pelted them with stones of baked clay,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এভাবে তিনি তাদের করে দিয়েছিলেন চিবানো ভূষির মতো।

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ
Saheeh International
And He made them like eaten straw.
Pickthall
And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle) ?
