Chapter 44, 59 verses
হা মিম।
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ حم
Ha - Mim.
Ha Mim!
حمٓ
শপথ এই সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের।
وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
By the Book that makes things clear; -
I swear by the Book that makes manifest (the truth).
وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
আমরা এটিকে নাযিল করেছি এক মুবারক রাতে। আমরা তো সতর্ককারী।
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
We sent it down during a Blessed Night: for We (ever) wish to warn (against Evil).
Surely We revealed it on a blessed night surely We are ever warning - -
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
সেই রাতে ফায়সালা করা হয় প্রতিটি বিজ্ঞানময় বিষয়
فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
In the (Night) is made distinct every affair of wisdom,
Therein every wise affair is made distinct,
فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
আমাদের নির্দেশক্রমে। আমরা তো রসূল পাঠিয়ে থাকি
أَمْرًا مِّنْ عِندِنَا ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
By command, from Our Presence. For We (ever) send (revelations),
A command from Us; surely We are the senders (of apostles),
أَمْرًا مِّنْ عِندِنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
তোমার প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে অনুগ্রহ হিসেবে। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞানী।
رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
As Mercy from thy Lord: for He hears and knows (all things);
A mercy from your Lord, surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing,
رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
তিনি মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীর প্রভু এবং এ দুয়ের মাঝে যা কিছু আছে সেগুলোরও, যদি তোমরা একীন রেখে থাকো।
رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, if ye (but) have an assured faith.
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure.
رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই তিনি ছাড়া। তিনি হায়াত দান করেন এবং মউত ঘটান। তিনিই তোমাদের এবং তোমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষদের প্রভু।
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
There is no god but He: It is He Who gives life and gives death, - The Lord and Cherisher to you and your earliest ancestors.
There is no god but He; He gives life and causes death, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore.
لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
বরং তারা সন্দেহে থেকে খেলতামাশায় লিপ্ত হয়েছে।
بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ
Yet they play about in doubt.
Nay, they are in doubt, they sport.
بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ
অতএব তুমি অপেক্ষা করো সেই দিনটির যেদিন আসমান হয়ে পড়বে ঘোরতর ধোঁয়াচ্ছন্ন,
فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
Then watch thou for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke (or mist) plainly visible,
Therefore keep waiting for the day when the heaven shall bring an evident smoke,
فَٱرْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِى ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
এবং তা ঢেকে ফেলবে সমস্ত মানুষকেও। এ হবে এক বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
يَغْشَى النَّاسَ ۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Enveloping the people: this will be a Penalty Grievous.
That shall overtake men; this is a painful punishment.
يَغْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
তখন তারা বলতে থাকবে: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের থেকে সরিয়ে নাও আযাব। আমরা এখনই ঈমান আনছি।’
رَّبَّنَا اكْشِفْ عَنَّا الْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ
(They will say:) "Our Lord! remove the Penalty from us, for we do really believe!"
Our Lord! remove from us the punishment; surely we are believers.
رَّبَّنَا ٱكْشِفْ عَنَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ
কেমন করে তারা গ্রহণ করবে উপদেশ, অথচ তাদের কাছে এসেছিল একজন সুস্পষ্ট রসূল।
أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ
How shall the message be (effectual) for them, seeing that an Messenger explaining things clearly has (already) come to them, -
How shall they be reminded, and there came to them an Apostle making clear (the truth),
أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ
তখন তারা একথা বলে তার থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়: ‘এ তো এক প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত পাগল।’
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا مُعَلَّمٌ مَّجْنُونٌ
Yet they turn away from him and say: "Tutored (by others), a man possessed!"
Yet they turned their backs on him and said: One taught (by others), a madman.
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ مُعَلَّمٌ مَّجْنُونٌ
আমি কিছু কালের জন্যে আযাব সরিয়ে নিচ্ছি, কিন্তু তোমরা তো পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরে যাবে।
إِنَّا كَاشِفُو الْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَائِدُونَ
We shall indeed remove the Penalty for a while, (but) truly ye will revert (to your ways).
Surely We will remove the punishment a little, (but) you will surely return (to evil).
إِنَّا كَاشِفُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُمْ عَآئِدُونَ
যেদিন আমরা তোমাদের প্রবলভাবে পাকড়াও করবো, সেদিন অবশ্যি আমরা তোমাদের থেকে প্রতিশোধ নেবো।
يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ الْبَطْشَةَ الْكُبْرَىٰ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ
One day We shall seize you with a mighty onslaught: We will indeed (then) exact Retribution!
On the day when We will seize (them) with the most violent seizing; surely We will inflict retribution.
يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ ٱلْبَطْشَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ
এদের আগে আমরা ফেরাউনের জাতিকেও পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম এবং তাদের কাছে এসেছিল একজন সম্মানিত রসূল।
۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
We did, before them, try the people of Pharaoh: there came to them a messenger most honourable,
And certainly We tried before them the people of Firon, and there came to them a noble apostle,
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
সে তাদের বলেছিল: ‘‘আল্লাহর বান্দাদের (বনি ইসরাঈলকে) আমার হাতে প্রত্যার্পণ করো। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে একজন বিশ্বস্ত রসূল।
أَنْ أَدُّوا إِلَيَّ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
Saying: "Restore to me the Servants of Allah: I am to you an messenger worthy of all trust;
Saying: Deliver to me the servants of Allah, surely I am a faithful apostle to you,
أَنْ أَدُّوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে বড়াই করোনা, আমি (আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে) তোমাদের কাছে নিয়ে এসেছি সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ।
وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي آتِيكُم بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
"And be not arrogant as against Allah: for I come to you with authority manifest.
And that do not exalt yourselves against Allah, surely I will bring to you a clear authority:
وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
তোমরা যেনো আমাকে পাথর মেরে হত্যা করতে না পারো, সে জন্যে আমি আমার প্রভু এবং তোমাদের প্রভু (আল্লাহর) আশ্রয় গ্রহণ করেছি।
وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ
"For me, I have sought safety with my Lord and your Lord, against your injuring me.
And surely I take refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me to death:
وَإِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ
তোমরা যদি আমার প্রতি ঈমান না আনো, তাহলে আমার থেকে দূরে থাকো।’’
وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا لِي فَاعْتَزِلُونِ
"If ye believe me not, at least keep yourselves away from me."
And if you do not believe in me, then leave me alone.
وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ لِى فَٱعْتَزِلُونِ
অত:পর মূসা তার প্রভুকে ডেকে বললো: ‘এরা তো এক অপরাধী জাতি।’
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُونَ
(But they were aggressive:) then he cried to his Lord: "These are indeed a people given to sin."
Then he called upon his Lord: These are a guilty people.
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُونَ
(তখন আমরা তাকে নির্দেশ দিয়েছি:) ‘তুমি রাতের বেলায় আমার দাসদের নিয়ে বেরিয়ে পড়ো। পেছনে থেকে তোমাদের ধাওয়া করা হবে।’
فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
(The reply came:) "March forth with My Servants by night: for ye are sure to be pursued.
So go forth with My servants by night; surely you will be pursued:
فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
সমুদ্রকে স্থির থাকতে দাও, ওরা সেই বাহিনী যারা ডুবে মরবে।
وَاتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ
"And leave the sea as a furrow (divided): for they are a host (destined) to be drowned."
And leave the sea intervening; surely they are a host that shall be drowned.
وَٱتْرُكِ ٱلْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ
কতো যে বাগবাগিচা আর ঝরণাধারা পেছনে রেখে এসেছিল তারা!
كَمْ تَرَكُوا مِن جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
How many were the gardens and springs they left behind,
How many of the gardens and fountains have they left!
كَمْ تَرَكُوا۟ مِن جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
রেখে এসেছিল শস্য ক্ষেত, বিলাসবহুল প্রাসাদ,
وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
And corn - fields and noble buildings,
And cornfields and noble places!
وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
আর কতো যে বিলাস সামগ্রী, যেগুলোতে তারা ছিলো উল্লাসে মত্ত।
وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ
And wealth (and conveniences of life), wherein they had taken such delight!
And goodly things wherein they rejoiced;
وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا۟ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ
এমনটিই ঘটেছিল, আর আমরা এসব কিছুর ওয়ারিশ বানিয়েছিলাম অপর একদল লোককে।
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ
Thus (was their end)! And We made other people inherit (those things)!
Thus (it was), and We gave them as a heritage to another people.
كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
আসমান কিংবা জমিন কেউই তাদের জন্যে অশ্রুপাত করেনি এবং তাদের কোনো প্রকার অবকাশও দেয়া হয়নি।
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنظَرِينَ
And neither heaven nor earth shed a tear over them: nor were they given a respite (again).
So the heaven and the earth did not weep for them, nor were they respited.
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ
(এভাবে) আমরা নাজাত (মুক্তি) দিয়েছিলাম বনি ইসরাঈলকে লাঞ্ছনাকর আযাব থেকে,
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ
We did deliver aforetime the Children of Israel from humiliating Punishment,
And certainly We delivered the children of Israel from the abasing chastisement,
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ
ফেরাউনের কবল থেকে, সে ছিলো এক উদ্ধত সীমালংঘনকারী।
مِن فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
Inflicted by Pharaoh, for he was arrogant (even) among inordinate transgressors.
From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant.
مِن فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
আমরা জেনে বুঝেই জমিনে তাদের দিয়েছিলাম শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব।
وَلَقَدِ اخْتَرْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
And We chose them aforetime above the nations, knowingly,
And certainly We chose them, having knowledge, above the nations.
وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
আর আমরা তাদের দিয়েছিলাম নিদর্শনাবলি, যাতে ছিলো সুস্পষ্ট পরীক্ষা।
وَآتَيْنَاهُم مِّنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَاءٌ مُّبِينٌ
And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial
And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing.
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَٰٓؤٌا۟ مُّبِينٌ
এখন কিনা এরা বলছে:
إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
As to these (Quraish), they say forsooth:
Most surely these do say:
إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
‘‘আমাদের প্রথম মউত ছাড়া আর কিছু নেই, আমাদের পুনরুত্থিত করা হবেনা।
إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا الْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ
"There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again.
There is naught but our first death and we shall not be raised again.
إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ
তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে আমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষদের উঠিয়ে এনে দেখাও।’’
فَأْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
"Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!"
So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful.
فَأْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
এরাই কি শ্রেষ্ঠ, নাকি তুববা জাতি এবং তাদের আগেকার লোকেরা? আমরা তাদের হালাক (ধ্বংস) করে দিয়েছিলাম, কারণ তারা ছিলো অপরাধী।
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ
What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin.
Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty.
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ
আমরা মহাকাশ, এই পৃথিবী এবং এদের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু খেলাচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ
We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport:
And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport.
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ
আমরা এ দুটো (মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবী) বাস্তব কারণ ছাড়া সৃষ্টি করিনি। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষই জানেনা।
مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand.
We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know.
مَا خَلَقْنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
বিচারের দিনই হলো তাদের মিকাত (শেষ সীমা ও শেষ সময়)।
إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ مِيقَاتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them, -
Surely the day of separation is their appointed term, of all of them
إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ مِيقَٰتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
সেদিন বন্ধু বন্ধুর উপকারে আসবেনা এবং সাহায্যও করা হবেনা তাদের।
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِي مَوْلًى عَن مَّوْلًى شَيْئًا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive,
The day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped,
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى مَوْلًى عَن مَّوْلًى شَيْـًٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
তবে যার প্রতি রহম করবেন, তার কথা ভিন্ন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি মহাশক্তিধর, পরম করুণাময়।
إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.
Save those on whom Allah shall have mercy; surely He is the Mighty the Merciful.
إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
নিশ্চয়ই যাক্কুম গাছ হবে
إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ الزَّقُّومِ
Verily the tree of Zaqqum
Surely the tree of the Zaqqum,
إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
পাপিষ্ঠদের খাদ্য,
طَعَامُ الْأَثِيمِ
Will be the food of the Sinful, -
Is the food of the sinful
طَعَامُ ٱلْأَثِيمِ
গলিত তামার মতো ফুটতে থাকবে তাদের পেটে,
كَالْمُهْلِ يَغْلِي فِي الْبُطُونِ
Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides.
Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies,
كَٱلْمُهْلِ يَغْلِى فِى ٱلْبُطُونِ
যেভাবে ফোটে টগবগে ফুটন্ত পানি।
كَغَلْيِ الْحَمِيمِ
Like the boiling of scalding water.
Like the boiling of hot water.
كَغَلْىِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ
(বলা হবে:) ওকে পাকড়াও করো এবং টেনে নিয়ে যাও জাহিমের (জাহান্নামের) মাঝখানে,
خُذُوهُ فَاعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
(A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire!
Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell;
خُذُوهُ فَٱعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
তারপর তার মাথায় ঢালো টগবগে ফুটন্ত পানির আযাব।
ثُمَّ صُبُّوا فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْحَمِيمِ
"Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water,
Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water:
ثُمَّ صُبُّوا۟ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِۦ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ
(তাকে আরো বলা হবে:) স্বাদ গ্রহণ করো, তুমি ছিলে বড় ইযযতওয়ালা, অভিজাত।
ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْكَرِيمُ
"Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour!
Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable:
ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ
এ হলো সেই জিনিস, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা সন্দেহ করতে।
إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِ تَمْتَرُونَ
"Truly this is what ye used to doubt!"
Surely this is what you disputed about.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمْتَرُونَ
নিশ্চয়ই মুত্তাকিরা থাকবে নিরাপদ জায়গায়,
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ
As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security,
Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place,
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ
উদ্যানরাজি আর ঝরণাধারা সমূহের মাঝে,
فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Among Gardens and Springs;
In gardens and springs;
فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
তারা সেখানে পরবে মিহি ও পুরো রেশমের পোশাক এবং বসবে মুখোমুখি হয়ে।
يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other;
They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face;
يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
এমনটিই ঘটবে, আর আমরা তাদের সংগিনী হিসেবে তাদের সাথে বিয়ে দেবো বড় চোখওয়ালা নারীদের।
كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes.
Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones.
كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
সেখানে তারা সব রকমের ফলফলারি আনতে বলবে প্রশান্ত হৃদয়ে।
يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ آمِنِينَ
There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security;
They shall call therein for every fruit in security;
يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ
প্রথম যে মৃত্যু হয়েছে তাছাড়া আর কোনো মৃত্যু তারা আস্বাদন করবেনা এবং তাদের রক্ষা করা হবে জাহিমের (জাহান্নামের) আযাব থেকে।
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا الْمَوْتَ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَةَ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَاهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire, -
They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell,
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ إِلَّا ٱلْمَوْتَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
এসবই তোমার প্রভুর অনুগ্রহ। এটাই হবে মহাসাফল্য।
فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement!
A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement.
فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
এই কুরআনকে আমরা তোমার ভাষায় সহজ করে দিয়েছি, যাতে করে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed.
So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful.
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
অতএব তুমি অপেক্ষা করো, তারাও প্রতীক্ষায়ই আছে।
فَارْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ
So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting.
Therefore wait; surely they are waiting.
فَٱرْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ
