Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn,

‘তিনি যাহা সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন তাহার অনিষ্ট হইতে,

From the evil of that which He created

From the evil of what He has created,

‘অনিষ্ট হইতে রাত্রির অন্ধকারের, যখন উহা গভীর হয়

And from the evil of darkness when it settles

And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes,

‘এবং অনিষ্ট হইতে সমস্ত নারীদের, যাহারা গ্রন্থিতে ফুৎকার দেয়

And from the evil of the blowers in knots

And from the evil of those who blow on knots,

এবং অনিষ্ট হইতে হিংসুকের, যখন সে হিংসা করে।’
