ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
মহামহিমান্বিত তিনি, সর্বময় কর্তৃত্ব যাঁহার করায়ত্ত; তিনি সর্ববিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।
Saheeh International
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মহা বরকতময় সেই সত্তা, সর্বময় কর্তৃত্ব যাঁর হাতে। আর সব কিছুর উপর তিনি সর্বশক্তিমান।
Shakir
Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things,

যিনি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন মৃত্যু ও জীবন, তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করিবার জন্য - কে তোমাদের মধ্যে কর্মে উত্তম? তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাশীল,
Saheeh International
[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -

তিনি সেই মহান সত্তা, যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন মউত এবং হায়াত তোমাদের এই পরীক্ষা করার জন্যে যে, তোমাদের মাঝে আমলের দিক দিয়ে কে উত্তম? তিনি মহাশক্তিমান, অতীব ক্ষমাশীল,
Shakir
Who created death and life that He may try you - - which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,

যিনি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন স্তরে স্তরে সপ্তাকাশ। দয়াময় র সৃষ্টিতে তুমি কোন খুঁত দেখিতে পাইবে না ; তুমি আবার তাকাইয়া দেখ, কোন ত্রুটি দেখিতে পাও কি?
Saheeh International
[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তবকায় তবকায় সাত আস্মান। দয়াময় - রহমানের সৃষ্টিতে কোনো খুঁত তুমি দেখতে পাবেনা। আবার তাকিয়ে দেখো, দেখতে পাও কি কোনো খুঁত?
Shakir
Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no incongruity in the creation of the Beneficent Allah; then look again, can you see any disorder?
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
অতঃপর তুমি বারবার দৃষ্টি ফিরাও, সেই দৃষ্টি ব্যর্থ ও ক্লান্ত হইয়া তোমার দিকে ফিরিয়া আসিবে।
Saheeh International
Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারপর বার বার নজর করে দেখো, সেই নজর ব্যর্থ ও ক্লান্ত হয়ে ফিরে আসবে তোমার দিকে।
Shakir
Then turn back the eye again and again; your look shall come back to you confused while it is fatigued.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
আমি নিকটবর্তী আকাশকে সুশোভিত করিয়াছি প্রদীপমালা দ্বারা এবং উহাদেরকে করিয়াছি শয়তানের প্রতি নিক্ষেপের উপকরণ এবং উহাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত রাখিয়াছি জ্বলন্ত অগ্নির শাস্তি।
Saheeh International
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা দুনিয়ার আসমানকে সৌন্দর্যমন্ডিত করেছি অনেক প্রদীপ দিয়ে এবং সেগুলোকে বানিয়েছি শয়তানদের দিকে নিক্ষেপের হাতিয়ার, আর তাদের জন্যে তৈরি করে রেখেছি জ্বলন্ত আগুনের আযাব।
Shakir
And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning.

যাহারা তাহাদের প্রতিপালককে অস্বীকার করে তাহাদের জন্য রহিয়াছে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি; উহা কত মন্দ প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল !
Saheeh International
And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা তাদের প্রভুর প্রতি কুফুরি করে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আযাব; আর তা ফিরে যাবার কতো যে মন্দ জায়গা!
Shakir
And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of hell, and evil is the resort.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
যখন উহারা তন্মধ্যে নিক্ষিপ্ত হইবে তখন উহারা জাহান্নামের বিকট শব্দ শুনিবে, আর উহা হইবে উদ্বেলিত।
Saheeh International
When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদেরকে যখন তাতে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে, তারা তখন শুনতে পাবে তার উত্থান পতনের বিকট শব্দ।
Shakir
When they shall be cast therein, they shall hear a loud moaning of it as it heaves,
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
রোষে জাহান্নাম যেন ফাটিয়া পড়িবে, যখনই উহাতে কোন দলকে নিক্ষেপ করা হইবে, উহাদেরকে রক্ষীরা জিজ্ঞাসা করিবে, ‘তোমাদের নিকট কি কোন সতর্ককারী আসে নাই?’
Saheeh International
It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?"
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যেনো সে (জাহান্নাম) ক্রোধে ফেটে পড়বে। যখনই তাতে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে কোনো দলকে, তখনই তার রক্ষীরা তাদের প্রশ্ন করবে: তোমাদের কাছে কি আসেনি কোনো সতর্ককারী?
Shakir
Almost bursting for fury. Whenever a group is cast into it, its keeper shall ask them: Did there not come to you a warner?

উহারা বলিবে, ‘অবশ্যই আমাদের নিকট সতর্ককারী আসিয়াছিল, আমরা উহাদেরকে মিথ্যাবাদী গণ্য করিয়াছিলাম এবং বলিয়াছিলাম, ‘ কিছুই অবতীর্ণ করেন নাই, তোমরা তো মহাবিভ্রান্তিতে রহিয়াছ।’
Saheeh International
They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'"
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা বলবে: ‘হ্যাঁ, আমাদের কাছে একজন সতর্ককারী এসেছিল, কিন্তু আমরা প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিলাম তাকে। আমরা বলেছিলাম: কিছুই নাযিল করেননি। তোমরা মহাভুল পথে আছো।’
Shakir
They shall say: Yea! indeed there came to us a warner, but we rejected (him) and said: Allah has not revealed anything, you are only in a great error.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং উহারা আরও বলিবে, ‘যদি আমরা শুনিতাম অথবা বিবেক - বুদ্ধি প্রয়োগ করিতাম, তাহা হইলে আমরা জাহান্নামবাসী হইতাম না।’
Saheeh International
And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা আরো বলবে: ‘আমরা যদি (তাদের আহবান - উপদেশ) শুনতাম এবং আকল খাটাতাম, তাহলে আজ আমরা সায়ীরের (জাহান্নামের) অধিবাসী হতাম না।’
Shakir
And they shall say: Had we but listened or pondered, we should not have been among the inmates of the burning fire.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহারা উহাদের অপরাধ স্বীকার করিবে। ধ্বংস জাহান্নামীদের জন্য।
Saheeh International
And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এভাবেই তারা স্বীকার করবে তাদের অপরাধ। ধ্বংস সায়ীরের অধিবাসীদের জন্যে।
Shakir
So they shall acknowledge their sins, but far will be (forgiveness) from the inmates of the burning fire.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
যাহারা দৃষ্টির অগোচরে তাহাদের প্রতিপালককে ভয় করে তাহাদের জন্য রহিয়াছে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কার।
Saheeh International
Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিশ্চয়ই যারা না দেখেও তাদের প্রভুকে ভয় করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মাগফিরাত আর মহাপুরস্কার।
Shakir
(As for) those who fear their Lord in secret, they shall surely have forgiveness and a great reward.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তোমরা তোমাদের কথা গোপনেই বল অথবা প্রকাশ্যে বল, তিনি তো অন্তর্যামী।
Saheeh International
And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা তোমাদের কথা গোপনে বলো, কিংবা প্রকাশ্যে, নিশ্চয়ই তিনি বিশেষভাবে জ্ঞাত অন্তরের খবর।
Shakir
And conceal your word or manifest it; surely He is Cognizant of what is in the hearts.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
যিনি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন, তিনি কি জানেন না? তিনি সূক্ষ্মদর্শী, সম্যক অবগত।
Saheeh International
Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তিনি কি জানবেন না? অথচ তিনি হলেন সুক্ষ্মদর্শী, সব অবগত।
Shakir
Does He not know, Who created? And He is the Knower of the subtleties, the Aware.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তিনিই তো তোমাদের জন্য ভূমিকে সুগম করিয়া দিয়াছেন ; অতএব তোমরা উহার দিগ - দিগন্তে বিচরণ কর এবং তাঁহার প্রদত্ত জীবনোপকরণ হইতে আহার্য গ্রহণ কর; পুনরুত্থান তো তাঁহারই নিকট।
Saheeh International
It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তিনিই সেই সত্তা, যিনি এই পৃথিবীকে তোমাদের জন্যে বানিয়ে দিয়েছেন চলাচলের উপযোগী, সুতরাং তোমরা দিক দিগন্তে চলাচল করো এবং তাঁর দেয়া জীবিকা থেকে খাও। আর তাঁরই কাছে হবে হাশর - নশর।
Shakir
He it is Who made the earth smooth for you, therefore go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance, and to Him is the return after death.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তোমরা কি ইহা হইতে নির্ভয় হইয়াছ যে, যিনি আকাশে রহিয়াছেন তিনি তোমাদেরকেসহ ভূমিকে ধসাইয়া দিবেন, অনন্তর উহা আকস্মিকভাবে থর থর করিয়া কাঁপিতে থাকিবে?
Saheeh International
Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যিনি আসমানে আছেন, তিনি তোমাদের নিয়ে পৃথিবীকে ধসিয়ে দেবেন আর তা আকস্মিক থর থর করে কেঁপে উঠবে - এ থেকে কি তোমরা নিরাপদ হয়ে গেছো?
Shakir
Are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not make the earth to swallow you up? Then lo! it shall be in a state of commotion.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
অথবা তোমরা কি ইহা হইতে নির্ভয় হইয়াছ যে, আকাশে যিনি রহিয়াছেন তিনি তোমাদের উপর কঙ্করবর্ষী ঝঞ্ঝা প্রেরণ করিবেন? তখন তোমরা জানিতে পারিবে কিরূপ ছিল আমার সতর্কবাণী!
Saheeh International
Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নাকি আকাশে যিনি আছেন তিনি তোমাদের উপর কংকরবর্ষী তুফান পাঠাবেন - সে ব্যাপারে তোমরা নিরাপদ হয়ে গেছো? অচিরেই জানতে পারবে কেমন ছিলো সতর্কবাণী।
Shakir
Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
ইহাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও অস্বীকার করিয়াছিল ; ফলে কিরূপ হইয়াছিল আমার শাস্তি!
Saheeh International
And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এদের পূর্বের লোকেরাও প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল। ফলে তাদের শাস্তিটাও হয়েছিল কেমন (কঠোর)?
Shakir
And certainly those before them rejected (the truth), then how was My disapproval.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না উহাদের ঊর্ধ্বদেশে বিহঙ্গকুলের প্রতি, যাহারা পক্ষ বিস্তার করে ও সংকুচিত করে ? দয়াময় ই উহাদেরকে স্থির রাখেন। তিনি সর্ব বিষয়ে সম্যক দ্রষ্টা।
Saheeh International
Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা কি তাদের উপরে পাখিদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করেনা? তারা ডানা বিস্তার করে আবার গুটিয়ে নেয়। দয়াময় - রহমানই তাদের স্থির রাখেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি প্রতিটি বিষয়ে দৃষ্টিবান।
Shakir
Have they not seen the birds above them expanding (their wings) and contracting (them)? What is it that withholds them save the Beneficent Allah? Surely He sees everything.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
দয়াময় ব্যতীত তোমাদের এমন কোন সৈন্যবাহিনী আছে কি, যাহারা তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করিবে ? কাফিররা তো রহিয়াছে প্রবঞ্চনার মধ্যে।
Saheeh International
Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
দয়াময় - রহমান ছাড়া তোমাদের কোনো সেনাবাহিনী আছে কি, যারা তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদের সাহায্য করবে? আসলে কাফিররা রয়েছে প্রতারণার মধ্যে।
Shakir
Or who is it that will be a host for you to assist you besides the Beneficent Allah? The unbelievers are only in deception.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এমন কে আছে, যে তোমাদেরকে জীবনোপকরণ দান করিবে, তিনি যদি তাঁহার জীবনোপকরণ বন্ধ করিয়া দেন? বস্তুত উহারা অবাধ্যতা ও সত্যবিমুখতায় অবিচল রহিয়াছে।
Saheeh International
Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এমন কে আছে যে তোমাদের রিযিক সরবরাহ করবে - যদি তিনি তাঁর রিযিক (সরবরাহ) বন্ধ করে দেন? বরং তারা অবাধ্যতা ও সত্য থেকে পালানোর উপর অবিচল রয়েছে।
Shakir
Or who is it that will give you sustenance if He should withhold His sustenance? Nay! they persist in disdain and aversion.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
যে ব্যক্তি ঝুঁকিয়া মুখে ভর দিয়া চলে, সে - ই কি ঠিক পথে চলে, না কি সেই ব্যক্তি যে ঋজু হইয়া সরল পথে চলে ?
Saheeh International
Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে ব্যক্তি ঝুঁকে মুখের উপর ভর দিয়ে চলে সে - ই কি ঠিক পথে চলে, নাকি ঐ ব্যক্তি, যে সোজা হয়ে সরল পথে চলে?
Shakir
What! is he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright upon a straight path?
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন এবং তোমাদেরকে দিয়াছেন শ্রবণশক্তি, দৃষ্টিশক্তি ও অন্তকরণ। তোমরা অল্পই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।’
Saheeh International
Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! বলো: ‘তিনিই তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তোমাদের দিয়েছেন শ্রবণশক্তি, দৃষ্টিশক্তি এবং হৃদয়। তবে তোমরা খুব কমই শোকর আদায় করে থাকো।’
Shakir
Say: He it is Who brought you into being and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts: little is it that you give thanks.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তিনিই পৃথিবীতে তোমাদের ছড়াইয়া দিয়াছেন এবং তাঁহারই নিকট তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করা হইবে।’
Saheeh International
Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! বলো: ‘তিনিই তোমাদের পৃথিবীতে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন এবং তাঁরই কাছে করা হবে তোমাদের হাশর (একত্র)’।
Shakir
Say: He it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you shall be gathered.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
আর উহারা বলে, ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে বল, এই প্রতিশ্রুতি কখন বাস্তবায়িত হইবে?’
Saheeh International
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা বলে: ‘তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকলে বলো কখন আসবে এই ওয়াদা করা সময়টি?’
Shakir
And they say: When shall this threat be (executed) if you are truthful?
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘ইহার জ্ঞান কেবল রই নিকট আছে। আমি তো স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী মাত্র।’
Saheeh International
Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! তুমি বলো: ‘এর এলেম আল্লাহর কাছেই রয়েছে। আমি তো একজন স্পষ্ট সাবধানকারী মাত্র।’
Shakir
Say: The knowledge (thereof is only with Allah and I am only a plain warner.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহারা যখন তাহা আসন্ন দেখিবে তখন কাফিরদের মুখমণ্ডল ম্লান হইয়া পড়িবে এবং বলা হইবে, ‘ইহাই তো তোমরা চাহিতেছিলে।’
Saheeh International
But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা যখন দেখবে তা (কিয়ামত) সম্মুখে উপস্থিত, তখন চেহারা ম্লান হয়ে যাবে কাফিরদের। তাদের বলা হবে: ‘এটাই সেই জিনিস যা তোমরা দাবি করে আসছিলে।
Shakir
But when they shall see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be sorry, and it shall be said; This is that which you used to call for.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তোমরা ভাবিয়া দেখিয়াছ কি - যদি আমাকে ও আমার সঙ্গীদেরকে ধ্বংস করেন অথবা আমাদের প্রতি দয়া প্রদর্শন করেন, তবে কাফিরদেরকে কে রক্ষা করিবে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি হইতে ?
Saheeh International
Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী ! তাদের বলো: তোমরা কি চিন্তা করে দেখেছো, যদি আমাকে এবং আমার সাথিদেরকে হালাক করে দেন, অথবা আমাদের প্রতি রহম করেন, কিন্তু কাফিরদের রক্ষা করবে কে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব থেকে?
Shakir
Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me - - rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment?
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তিনিই দয়াময়, আমরা তাঁহাকে বিশ্বাস করি ও তাঁহারই উপর নির্ভর করি, শীঘ্রই তোমরা জানিতে পারিবে কে স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে রহিয়াছে।’
Saheeh International
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
বলো: ‘তিনি দয়াময় - রহমান, আমরা তাঁরই প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি এবং তাঁরই উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করেছি। অচিরেই তোমরা জানতে পারবে, কে নিমজ্জিত স্পষ্ট গোমরাহিতে?
Shakir
Say: He is the Beneficent Allah, we believe in Him and on Him do we rely, so you shall come to know who it is that is in clear error.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তোমরা ভাবিয়া দেখিয়াছ কি যদি পানি ভূগর্ভে তোমাদের নাগালের বাহিরে চলিয়া যায়, তখন কে তোমাদেরকে আনিয়া দিবে প্রবহমান পানি?’
Saheeh International
Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! তাদের জিজ্ঞেস করো: ‘তোমরা কি চিন্তা করে দেখছো, ভূ - গর্ভের পানি যদি তোমাদের নাগালের বাইরে চলে যায়, তখন কে এনে দেবে তোমাদের বহমান পানি?’
Shakir
Say: Have you considered if your water should go down, who is it then that will bring you flowing water?
