আমি নূহকে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি একথা বলেঃ তুমি তোমার সম্প্রদায়কে সতর্ক কর, তাদের প্রতি মর্মন্তদ শাস্তি আসার আগে।
Arabic
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إنا أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه أن أنذر قومك من قبل أن يأتيهم عذاب أليم
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Lo! We sent Noah unto his people (saying): Warn thy people ere the painful doom come unto them.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
সে বলল, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! আমি তোমাদের জন্যে স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী।
Arabic
قال يا قوم إني لكم نذير مبين
Pickthall
He said: O my people! Lo! I am a plain warner unto you
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
এ বিষয়ে যে, তোমরা তা’আলার এবাদত কর, তাঁকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর।

أن اعبدوا الله واتقوه وأطيعون
Pickthall
(Bidding you): Serve Allah and keep your duty unto Him and obey me,
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তা’আলা তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিবেন। নিশ্চয় তা’আলার নির্দিষ্টকাল যখন হবে, তখন অবকাশ দেয়া হবে না, যদি তোমরা তা জানতে!

يغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى ۚ إن أجل الله إذا جاء لا يؤخر ۖ لو كنتم تعلمون
Pickthall
That He may forgive you somewhat of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Lo! the term of Allah, when it cometh, cannot be delayed, if ye but knew.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আমি আমার সম্প্রদায়কে দিবারাত্রি দাওয়াত দিয়েছি;
Arabic
قال رب إني دعوت قومي ليلا ونهارا
Pickthall
He said: My Lord! Lo! I have called unto my people night and day
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
কিন্তু আমার দাওয়াত তাদের পলায়নকেই বৃদ্ধি করেছে।
Arabic
فلم يزدهم دعائي إلا فرارا
Pickthall
But all my calling doth but add to their repugnance;
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
আমি যতবারই তাদেরকে দাওয়াত দিয়েছি, যাতে আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন, ততবারই তারা কানে অঙ্গুলি দিয়েছে, মুখমন্ডল বস্ত্রাবৃত করেছে, জেদ করেছে এবং খুব ঔদ্ধত্য প্রদর্শন করেছে।
Arabic
وإني كلما دعوتهم لتغفر لهم جعلوا أصابعهم في آذانهم واستغشوا ثيابهم وأصروا واستكبروا استكبارا
Pickthall
And lo! whenever I call unto them that Thou mayst pardon them they thrust their fingers in their ears and cover themselves with their garments and persist (in their refusal) and magnify themselves in pride.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে প্রকাশ্যে দাওয়াত দিয়েছি,
Arabic
ثم إني دعوتهم جهارا
Pickthall
And lo! I have called unto them aloud,
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
অতঃপর আমি ঘোষণা সহকারে প্রচার করেছি এবং গোপনে চুপিসারে বলেছি।
Arabic
ثم إني أعلنت لهم وأسررت لهم إسرارا
Pickthall
And lo! I have made public proclamation unto them, and I have appealed to them in private.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
অতঃপর বলেছিঃ তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর। তিনি অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল।
Arabic
فقلت استغفروا ربكم إنه كان غفارا
Pickthall
And I have said: Seek pardon of your Lord. Lo! He was ever Forgiving.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তিনি তোমাদের উপর অজস্র বৃষ্টিধারা ছেড়ে দিবেন,
Arabic
يرسل السماء عليكم مدرارا
Pickthall
He will let loose the sky for you in plenteous rain,
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তোমাদের ধন - সম্পদ ও সন্তান - সন্ততি বাড়িয়ে দিবেন, তোমাদের জন্যে উদ্যান স্থাপন করবেন এবং তোমাদের জন্যে নদীনালা প্রবাহিত করবেন।
And will help you with wealth and sons, and will assign unto you Gardens and will assign unto you rivers.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তোমাদের কি হল যে, তোমরা তা’আলার শ্রেষ্টত্ব আশা করছ না।

ما لكم لا ترجون لله وقارا

What aileth you that ye hope not toward Allah for dignity
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
অথচ তিনি তোমাদেরকে বিভিন্ন রকমে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।

وقد خلقكم أطوارا
Pickthall
When He created you by (divers) stages ?
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তোমরা কি লক্ষ্য কর না যে, কিভাবে সপ্ত আকাশ স্তরে স্তরে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।

ألم تروا كيف خلق الله سبع سماوات طباقا
Pickthall
See ye not how Allah hath created seven heavens in harmony,
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
এবং সেখানে চন্দ্রকে রেখেছেন আলোরূপে এবং সূর্যকে রেখেছেন প্রদীপরূপে।
Arabic
وجعل القمر فيهن نورا وجعل الشمس سراجا
Pickthall
And hath made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp ?
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তা’আলা তোমাদেরকে মৃত্তিকা থেকে উদগত করেছেন।
Arabic
والله أنبتكم من الأرض نباتا
Pickthall
And Allah hath caused you to grow as a growth from the earth,
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
অতঃপর তাতে ফিরিয়ে নিবেন এবং আবার পুনরুত্থিত করবেন।
Arabic
ثم يعيدكم فيها ويخرجكم إخراجا
Pickthall
And afterward He maketh you return thereto, and He will bring you forth again, a (new) forthbringing.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তা’আলা তোমাদের জন্যে ভূমিকে করেছেন বিছানা।
Arabic
والله جعل لكم الأرض بساطا
Pickthall
And Allah hath made the earth a wide expanse for you
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
যাতে তোমরা চলাফেরা কর প্রশস্ত পথে।
Arabic
لتسلكوا منها سبلا فجاجا
Pickthall
That ye may thread the valley - ways thereof.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
নূহ বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমার সম্প্রদায় আমাকে অমান্য করেছে আর অনুসরণ করছে এমন লোককে, যার ধন - সম্পদ ও সন্তান - সন্ততি কেবল তার ক্ষতিই বৃদ্ধি করছে।

قال نوح رب إنهم عصوني واتبعوا من لم يزده ماله وولده إلا خسارا
Pickthall
Noah said: My Lord! Lo! they have disobeyed me and followed one whose wealth and children increase him in naught save ruin;
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
আর তারা ভয়ানক চক্রান্ত করছে।
Arabic
ومكروا مكرا كبارا
Pickthall
And they have plotted a mighty plot,
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তারা বলছেঃ তোমরা তোমাদের উপাস্যদেরকে ত্যাগ করো না এবং ত্যাগ করো না ওয়াদ, সূয়া, ইয়াগুছ, ইয়াউক ও নসরকে।
Arabic
وقالوا لا تذرن آلهتكم ولا تذرن ودا ولا سواعا ولا يغوث ويعوق ونسرا
Pickthall
And they have said: Forsake not your gods. Forsake not Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
অথচ তারা অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। অতএব আপনি জালেমদের পথভ্রষ্টতাই বাড়িয়ে দিন।
Arabic
وقد أضلوا كثيرا ۖ ولا تزد الظالمين إلا ضلالا
Pickthall
And they have led many astray, and Thou increasest the wrong - doers in naught save error.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তাদের গোনাহসমূহের দরুন তাদেরকে নিমজ্জিত করা হয়েছে, অতঃপর দাখিল করা হয়েছে জাহান্নামে। অতঃপর তারা তা’আলা ব্যতীত কাউকে সাহায্যকারী পায়নি।

مما خطيئاتهم أغرقوا فأدخلوا نارا فلم يجدوا لهم من دون الله أنصارا
Pickthall
Because of their sins they were drowned, then made to enter a Fire. And they found they had no helpers in place of Allah.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
নূহ আরও বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি পৃথিবীতে কোন গৃহবাসীকে রেহাই দিবেন না।
Arabic
وقال نوح رب لا تذر على الأرض من الكافرين ديارا
Pickthall
And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
যদি আপনি তাদেরকে রেহাই দেন, তবে তারা আপনার বান্দাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করবে এবং জন্ম দিতে থাকবে কেবল পাপাচারী, ।

إنك إن تذرهم يضلوا عبادك ولا يلدوا إلا فاجرا كفارا
Pickthall
If Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thy slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আপনি আমাকে, আমার পিতা - মাতাকে, যারা হয়ে আমার গৃহে প্রবেশ করে - তাদেরকে এবং পুরুষ ও নারীদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং যালেমদের কেবল ধ্বংসই বৃদ্ধি করুন।

رب اغفر لي ولوالدي ولمن دخل بيتي مؤمنا وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات ولا تزد الظالمين إلا تبارا
Pickthall
My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong - doers in aught save ruin.
