আবু লাহাবের হস্তদ্বয় ধ্বংস হোক এবং ধ্বংস হোক সে নিজে,

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet) and perish he!

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ

কোন কাজে আসেনি তার ধন - সম্পদ ও যা সে উপার্জন করেছে।

His wealth and his children will not benefit him!

مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ

সত্বরই সে প্রবেশ করবে লেলিহান অগ্নিতে

He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames!

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ

এবং তার স্ত্রীও - যে ইন্ধন বহন করে,

And his wife, too, who carries wood (thorns of Sa'dan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, or use to slander him).
