١ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Saheeh International
1 Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an.

١ الٓر تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

২ কোন সময় কাফেররা আকাঙ্ক্ষা করবে যে, কি চমৎকার হত, যদি তারা মুসলমান হত।

٢ رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ

2 Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims.

৩ আপনি ছেড়ে দিন তাদেরকে, খেয়ে নিক এবং ভোগ করে নিক এবং আশায় ব্যাপৃত থাকুক। অতি সত্বর তারা জেনে নেবে।

٣ ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Saheeh International
3 Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know.

٣ ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

৪ আমি কোন জনপদ ধবংস করিনি; কিন্ত তার নির্দিষ্ট সময় লিখিত ছিল।

٤ وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
Saheeh International
4 And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree.

৫ কোন সম্প্রদায় তার নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের অগ্রে যায় না এবং পশ্চাতে থাকে না।

٥ مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
Saheeh International
5 No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.

৬ তারা বললঃ হে ঐ ব্যক্তি, যার প্রতি কোরআন নাযিল হয়েছে, আপনি তো একজন উম্মাদ।

٦ وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
Saheeh International
6 And they say, "O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad.

٦ وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ

৭ যদি আপনি সত্যবাদী হন, তবে আমাদের কাছে ফেরেশতাদেরকে আনেন না কেন?

٧ لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
Saheeh International
7 Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?"

٧ لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
৮ আমি ফেরেশতাদেরকে একমাত্র ফায়সালার জন্যেই নাযিল করি। তখন তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেয়া হবে না।

٨ مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
Saheeh International
8 We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved.

٨ مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ

৯ আমি স্বয়ং এ উপদেশ গ্রন্থ অবতারণ করেছি এবং আমি নিজেই এর সংরক্ষক।

٩ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
Saheeh International
9 Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian.

১০ আমি আপনার পূর্বে পূর্ববর্তী সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি।

١٠ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Saheeh International
10 And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples.

১১ ওদের কাছে এমন কোন রসূল আসেননি, যাদের সাথে ওরা ঠাট্টাবিদ্রূপ করতে থাকেনি।

١١ وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

11 And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him.

১২ এমনিভাবে আমি এ ধরনের আচরণ পাপীদের অন্তরে বদ্ধমূল করে দেই।

١٢ كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

12 Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals.

১৩ ওরা এর প্রতি বিশ্বাস করবে না। পূর্ববর্তীদের এমন রীতি চলে আসছে।

١٣ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Saheeh International
13 They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples.

১৪ যদি আমি ওদের সামনে আকাশের কোন দরজাও খুলে দেই আর তাতে ওরা দিনভর আরোহণ ও করতে থাকে।

١٤ وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَظَلُّوا فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ

14 And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend,

١٤ وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ

১৫ তবুও ওরা একথাই বলবে যে, আমাদের দৃষ্টির বিভ্রাট ঘটানো হয়েছে না বরং আমরা যাদুগ্রস্ত হয়ে পড়েছি।

١٥ لَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
Saheeh International
15 They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."

١٥ لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ

১৬ নিশ্চয় আমি আকাশে রাশিচক্র সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তাকে দর্শকদের জন্যে সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছি।

١٦ وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
Saheeh International
16 And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers.

١٦ وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ

১৭ আমি আকাশকে প্রত্যেক বিতাড়িত শয়তান থেকে নিরাপদ করে দিয়েছি।

١٧ وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ
Saheeh International
17 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah]

১৮ কিন্তু যে চুরি করে শুনে পালায়, তার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে উজ্জ্বল উল্কাপিন্ড।

١٨ إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
Saheeh International
18 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame.

١٨ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ

১৯ আমি ভু - পৃষ্ঠকে বিস্তৃত করেছি এবং তার উপর পর্বতমালা স্থাপন করেছি এবং তাতে প্রত্যেক বস্তু সুপরিমিতভাবে উৎপন্ন করেছি।

١٩ وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
Saheeh International
19 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well - balanced thing.

١٩ وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ

২০ আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তাতে জীবিকার উপকরন সৃষ্টি করছি এবং তাদের জন্যেও যাদের অন্নদাতা তোমরা নও।

٢٠ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ
Saheeh International
20 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers.

٢٠ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ

২১ আমার কাছে প্রত্যেক বস্তুর ভান্ডার রয়েছে। আমি নির্দিষ্ট পরিমানেই তা অবতরণ করি।

٢١ وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
Saheeh International
21 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure.

٢١ وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

২২ আমি বৃষ্টিগর্ভ বায়ু পরিচালনা করি অতঃপর আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করি, এরপর তোমাদেরকে তা পান করাই। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের কাছে এর ভান্ডার নেই।

٢٢ وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ
Saheeh International
22 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers.

٢٢ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
২৩ আমিই জীবনদান করি, মৃত্যুদান করি এবং আমিই চুড়ান্ত মালিকানার অধিকারী।

٢٣ وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
Saheeh International
23 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor.

٢٣ وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ

২৪ আমি জেনে রেখেছি তোমাদের অগ্রগামীদেরকে এবং আমি জেনে রেখেছি পশ্চাদগামীদেরকে।

٢٤ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ
Saheeh International
24 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come].

٢٤ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ

২৫ আপনার পালনকর্তাই তাদেরকে একত্রিত করে আনবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি প্রজ্ঞাবান, জ্ঞানময়।

٢٥ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

25 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.

২৬ আমি মানবকে পচা কর্দম থেকে তৈরী বিশুস্ক ঠনঠনে মাটি দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছি।

٢٦ وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Saheeh International
26 And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.

٢٦ وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

২৭ এবং জিনকে এর আগে লু এর আগুনের দ্বারা সৃজিত করেছি।

٢٧ وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ
Saheeh International
27 And the jinn We created before from scorching fire.

٢٧ وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ

২৮ আর আপনার পালনকর্তা যখন ফেরেশতাদেরকে বললেনঃ আমি পচা কর্দম থেকে তৈরী বিশুষ্ক ঠনঠনে মাটি দ্বারা সৃষ্ট একটি মানব জাতির পত্তন করব।

٢٨ وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Saheeh International
28 And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.

٢٨ وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
২৯ অতঃপর যখন তাকে ঠিকঠাক করে নেব এবং তাতে আমার রূহ থেকে ফঁুক দেব, তখন তোমরা তার সামনে সেজদায় পড়ে যেয়ো।

٢٩ فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
Saheeh International
29 And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."

٢٩ فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

৩০ তখন ফেরেশতারা সবাই মিলে সেজদা করল।

٣٠ فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ

30 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely,

٣٠ فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ

৩১ কিন্তু ইবলীস - সে সেজদাকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হতে স্বীকৃত হল না।

٣١ إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
Saheeh International
31 Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated.

٣١ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

৩২ আল্লাহ বললেনঃ হে ইবলিস, তোমার কি হলো যে তুমি সেজদাকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হতে স্বীকৃত হলে না?

٣٢ قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
Saheeh International
32 [Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"

٣٢ قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
৩৩ বললঃ আমি এমন নই যে, একজন মানবকে সেজদা করব, যাকে আপনি পচা কর্দম থেকে তৈরী ঠনঠনে বিশুষ্ক মাটি দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছেন।

٣٣ قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Saheeh International
33 He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud."

٣٣ قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

৩৪ আল্লাহ বললেনঃ তবে তুমি এখান থেকে বের হয়ে যাও। তুমি বিতাড়িত।

٣٤ قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
Saheeh International
34 [Allah] said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled.

৩৫ এবং তোমার প্রতি ন্যায় বিচারের দিন পর্যন্ত অভিসম্পাত।

٣٥ وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Saheeh International
35 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."

৩৬ সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি আমাকে পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিন।

٣٦ قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Saheeh International
36 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."

৩৭ আল্লাহ বললেনঃ তোমাকে অবকাশ দেয়া হল।

٣٧ قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ
Saheeh International
37 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved

৩৯ সে বললঃ হে আমার পলনকর্তা, আপনি যেমন আমাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেছেন, আমিও তাদের সবাইকে পৃথিবীতে নানা সৌন্দর্যে আকৃষ্ট করব এবং তাদের সবাইকে পথ ভ্রষ্ঠ করে দেব।

٣٩ قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

39 [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all

40 Except, among them, Your chosen servants."

41 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight.

٤٢ إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ

42 Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.

43 And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all.

44 It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated."

45 Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs.

46 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."

৪৭ তাদের অন্তরে যে ক্রোধ ছিল, আমি তা দূর করে দেব। তারা ভাই ভাইয়ের মত সামনা - সামনি আসনে বসবে।

٤٧ وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
Saheeh International
47 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.

٤٧ وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

৪৮ সেখানে তাদের মোটেই কষ্ট হবে না এবং তারা সেখান থেকে বহিস্কৃত হবে না।

٤٨ لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ

48 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.

49 [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful.

52 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you."

৫৩ তারা বললঃ ভয় করবেন না। আমরা আপনাকে একজন জ্ঞানবান ছেলে - সন্তানের সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছি।

53 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy."

৫৪ তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা কি আমাকে এমতাবস্থায় সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছ, যখন আমি বার্ধক্যে পৌছে গেছি ?

٥٤ قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِي عَلَىٰ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
Saheeh International
54 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?"

৫৫ তারা বললঃ আমরা আপনাকে সত্য সু - সংবাদ দিচ্ছি! অতএব আপনি নিরাশ হবেন না।

٥٥ قَالُوا بَشَّرْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ الْقَانِطِينَ

55 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing."

৫৬ তিনি বললেনঃ পালনকর্তার রহমত থেকে পথভ্রষ্টরা ছাড়া কে নিরাশ হয় ?

٥٦ قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلَّا الضَّالُّونَ

56 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?"

৫৭ তিনি বললেনঃ অতঃপর তোমাদের প্রধান উদ্দেশ্য কি হে আল্লাহর প্রেরিতগণ ?

57 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"

58 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,

৫৯ কিন্তু লূতের পরিবার - পরিজন। আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের সবাইকে বাঁচিয়ে নেব।

59 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all

60 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind.

63 They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing,

৬৪ এবং আমরা আপনার কাছে সত্য বিষয় নিয়ে এসেছি এবং আমরা সত্যবাদী।

64 And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful.

৬৫ অতএব আপনি শেষরাত্রে পরিবারের সকলকে নিয়ে চলে যান এবং আপনি তাদের পশ্চাদনুসরণ করবেন না এবং আপনাদের মধ্যে কেউ যেন পিছন ফিরে না দেখে। আপনারা যেখানে আদেশ প্রাপ্ত হচ্ছেন সেখানে যান।

٦٥ فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاتَّبِعْ أَدْبَارَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَامْضُوا حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
Saheeh International
65 So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded."

٦٥ فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ

৬৬ আমি লূতকে এ বিষয় পরিজ্ঞাত করে দেই যে, সকাল হলেই তাদেরকে সমুলে বিনাশ করে দেয়া হবে।

٦٦ وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ الْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
Saheeh International
66 And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.

৬৭ শহরবাসীরা আনন্দ - উল্লাস করতে করতে পৌছল।

67 And the people of the city came rejoicing.

৬৮ লূত বললেনঃ তারা আমার মেহমান। অতএব আমাকে লাঞ্ছিত করো না।

٦٨ قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ ضَيْفِي فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ
Saheeh International
68 [Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me.

৬৯ তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার ইযযত নষ্ট করো না।

٦٩ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ

69 And fear Allah and do not disgrace me."

70 They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?"

71 [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]."

72 By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.

73 So the shriek seized them at sunrise.

٧٤ فَجَعَلْنَا عَالِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

74 And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.

৭৫ নিশ্চয় এতে চিন্তাশীলদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।

75 Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.

76 And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road.

77 Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.

78 And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers.

٧٩ فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
Saheeh International
79 So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway.

80 And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers.

81 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away.

82 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.

83 But the shriek seized them at early morning.

84 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn.

৮৫ আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী যা আছে তা তাৎপর্যহীন সৃষ্টি করিনি। কেয়ামত অবশ্যই আসবে। অতএব পরম ঔদাসীন্যের সাথে ওদের ক্রিয়াকর্ম উপক্ষো করুন।

٨٥ وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ ۖ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ
Saheeh International
85 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness.

86 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator.

Saheeh International
87 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an.

৮৮ আপনি চক্ষু তুলে ঐ বস্তুর প্রতি দেখবেন না, যা আমি তাদের মধ্যে কয়েক প্রকার লোককে ভোগ করার জন্যে দিয়েছি, তাদের জন্যে চিন্তিত হবেন না আর ঈমানদারদের জন্যে স্বীয় বাহু নত করুন।

٨٨ لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Saheeh International
88 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers

97 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say.

98 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him].
