জহুরুল হক

মহিমা ঘোষণা করো তোমার সর্বোন্নত প্রভুর নামের, - -

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করুন

Arabic, with marks

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى

জহুরুল হক

যিনি সৃষ্টি করেন, তারপর সুঠাম করেন,

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it.

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন ও সুবিন্যস্ত করেছেন।

Arabic, with marks

الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ

জহুরুল হক

আর যিনি সুসমঞ্জস করেন, তারপর পথ দেখিয়ে নেন,

And Who has measured (preordainments for everything even to be blessed or wretched); and then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as the wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture).

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

এবং যিনি সুপরিমিত করেছেন ও পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন

Arabic, with marks

وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

আর যিনি তৃণলতা উদ্‌গত করেন,

And Who brings out the pasturage,

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

এবং যিনি তৃণাদি উৎপন্ন করেছেন,

وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

তারপর তাকে শুকিয়ে পাঁশুটে বানিয়ে ফেলেন।

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

And then makes it dark stubble.

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

অতঃপর করেছেন তাকে কাল আবর্জনা।

فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاءً أَحْوَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

আমরা যথাশীঘ্র তোমাকে পড়াবো, ফলে তুমি ভুলবে না, - -

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

We shall make you to recite (the Qur'an), so you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) shall not forget (it),

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

আমি আপনাকে পাঠ করাতে থাকব, ফলে আপনি বিস্মৃত হবেন না

Arabic, with marks

سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

শুধু যা - কিছু ইচ্ছা করেন তা ব্যতীত। নিশ্চয় তিনি জানেন প্রকাশ্য এবং যা গুপ্ত রয়েছে।

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

Except what Allah may will. He knows what is apparent and what is hidden.

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

যা ইচ্ছা করেন তা ব্যতীত। নিশ্চয় তিনি জানেন প্রকাশ্য ও গোপন বিষয়।

إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

আর আমরা তোমার জন্য সহজ করে দেব সহজকরনের জন্য।

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds).

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

আমি আপনার জন্যে সহজ শরীয়ত সহজতর করে দেবো।

Arabic, with marks

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

অতএব তুমি স্মরণ করিয়ে চলোচ নিশ্চয় স্মরণ করানোতে সুফল রয়েছে।

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them).

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

উপদেশ ফলপ্রসূ হলে উপদেশ দান করুন,

فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

যে ভয় করে সে যথাসত্বর উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে,

The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah),

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

যে ভয় করে, সে উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে,

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

কিন্ত এটি এড়িয়ে চলবে নেহাত দুশ্চরিত্র, - -

But it will be avoided by the wretched,

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

আর যে, হতভাগা, সে তা উপেক্ষা করবে,

Arabic, with marks

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى

জহুরুল হক

যে বিরাট আগুনে ঢোকে পড়বে,

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

Who will enter the great Fire (and will be made to taste its burning).

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

সে মহা - অগ্নিতে প্রবেশ করবে।

Arabic, with marks

الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

তখন সে সেখানে মরবে না, আর বাঁচবেও না।

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

There he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living).

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

অতঃপর সেখানে সে মরবেও না, জীবিতও থাকবে না।

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

সে - ই যথার্থ হবে যে নিজেকে পবিত্র করেছে,

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success,

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

নিশ্চয় সাফল্য লাভ করবে সে, যে শুদ্ধ হয়

Arabic, with marks

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

জহুরুল হক

এবং তার প্রভুর নাম স্মরণ করে, আর পড়ে।

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil - additional prayers).

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

এবং তার পালনকর্তার নাম স্মরণ করে, অতঃপর আদায় করে।

Arabic, with marks

وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّىٰ

জহুরুল হক

না, তোমরা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে প্রাধান্য দাও,

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

Nay, you prefer the life of this world,

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

বস্তুতঃ তোমরা পার্থিব জীবনকে অগ্রাধিকার দাও,

بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا

জহুরুল হক

অথচ পরকালই বেশি ভাল ও দীর্ঘস্থায়ী।

Hilali & Muhsin Khan

Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting.

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

অথচ পরকালের জীবন উৎকৃষ্ট ও স্থায়ী।

وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ

জহুরুল হক

নিঃসন্দেহ এইসব আছে পূর্ববর্তী ধর্মগ্রন্থে - -

Verily, this is in the former Scriptures -

এটা লিখিত রয়েছে পূর্ববতী কিতাবসমূহে;

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَىٰ

ইব্রাহীম ও মূসার ধর্মগ্রন্থে।

The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses) (عليهما السلام).

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

ইব্রাহীম ও মূসার কিতাবসমূহে।
