তুমি কি দেখো নি তোমার প্রভু কেমন করেছিলেন হস্তি - বাহিনীর প্রতি?

Arabic, with marks

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ

Pickthall

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant ?

তাদের চক্রান্ত তিনি কি ব্যর্থতায় পর্যবসিত করেন নি?

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ

Pickthall

Did He not bring their stratagem to naught,

জহুরুল হক

আর তাদের উপরে তিনি পাঠালেন ঝাঁকে ঝাঁকে পাখীর দল,

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ

And send against them swarms of flying creatures,

যারা তাদের আছড়ে ছিল শক্ত - কঠিন পাথরের গায়ে;

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

Pickthall

Which pelted them with stones of baked clay,

ফলে তিনি তাদের বানিয়ে দিলেন খেয়ে ফেলা খড়ের মতো।

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ

And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle) ?
