Chapter 102, 8 verses
প্রাচুর্যের প্রতিযোগিতা তোমাদের মতিভ্রম ঘটায়, - -
Die Vermehrung lenkt euch ab,
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
যতক্ষণ না তোমরা কবরে আসো।
bis ihr die Friedhöfe besucht.
Until ye come to the graves.
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ
না! শীঘ্রই তোমরা জানতে পারবে!
Keineswegs! Ihr werdet (es noch) erfahren.
Nay, but ye will come to know!
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
আবার বলি, - - না, শীঘ্রই তোমরা জানতে পারবে!
Abermals: Keineswegs! Ihr werdet (es noch) erfahren.
Nay, but ye will come to know!
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
না, যদি তোমরা জানতে নিশ্চিত জ্ঞানে!
Keineswegs! Wenn ihr es nur mit dem Wissen der Gewißheit wüßtet!
Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge!
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
তোমরা তো ভয়ংকর আগুন দেখবেই।
Ihr werdet ganz gewiß den Höllenbrand sehen.
For ye will behold hell - fire.
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ
আবার বলি, তোমরা অবশ্যই এটি দেখবে নিশ্চিত দৃষ্টিতে।
Abermals: Ihr werdet ihn mit dem Auge der Gewißheit sehen.
Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision.
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
এরপর সেইদিন তোমাদের অবশ্যই জিজ্ঞাসা করা হবে অবদান সম্পর্কে।
Hierauf werdet ihr an jenem Tag ganz gewiß nach der Wonne gefragt werden.
Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure.
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
