Chapter 44, 59 verses
হা মীম!
Ha-Mim
হা মিম।
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Ha. Mim.
সুস্পষ্ট গ্রন্থের কথা ভেবে দেখো - -
Bei dem deutlichen Buch!
শপথ এই সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের।
By the Scripture that maketh plain
নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা এটি অবতারণ করেছি এক পবিত্র রাত্রিতে, নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা চির - সতর্ককারী।
Wir haben es wahrlich in einer gesegneten Nacht herabgesandt - Wir haben ja (die Menschen) immer wieder gewarnt -,
আমরা এটিকে নাযিল করেছি এক মুবারক রাতে। আমরা তো সতর্ককারী।
Lo! We revealed it on a blessed night - Lo! We are ever warning -
এতে প্রত্যেক বিষয় সুস্পষ্ট করা হয় জ্ঞানভান্ডার দিয়ে,
in der jede weise Angelegenheit einzeln entschieden wird
সেই রাতে ফায়সালা করা হয় প্রতিটি বিজ্ঞানময় বিষয়
Whereon every wise command is made clear
আমাদের তরফ থেকে এক নির্দেশনামা। নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা সতত প্রেরণকারী, - -
als eine Angelegenheit von Uns aus - Wir haben ja immer wieder (Warner) gesandt -,
আমাদের নির্দেশক্রমে। আমরা তো রসূল পাঠিয়ে থাকি
As a command from Our presence - Lo! We are ever sending -
তোমার প্রভু কাছ থেকে এ এক অনুগ্রহ। নিঃসন্দেহ তিনি, তিনিই সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞাতা, - -
als eine Barmherzigkeit von deinem Herrn - gewiß, Er ist der Allhörende und Allwissende -,
তোমার প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে অনুগ্রহ হিসেবে। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞানী।
A mercy from thy Lord. Lo! He, even He is the Hearer, the Knower,
মহাকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর এবং এ দুইয়ের মধ্যে যা আছে তার প্রভু, - - যদি তোমরা সুনিশ্চিত হও।
dem Herrn der Himmel und der Erde und dessen, was dazwischen ist, wenn ihr überzeugt seid.
তিনি মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীর প্রভু এবং এ দুয়ের মাঝে যা কিছু আছে সেগুলোরও, যদি তোমরা একীন রেখে থাকো।
Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye would be sure.
তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য উপাস্য নেই, তিনি জীবন দান করেন ও মৃত্যু ঘটান। তোমাদের প্রভু এবং পূর্বকালীন তোমাদের পিতৃপুরষদেরও প্রভু।
Es gibt keinen Gott außer Ihm. Er macht lebendig und läßt sterben, (Er), euer Herr und der Herr eurer Vorväter.
কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই তিনি ছাড়া। তিনি হায়াত দান করেন এবং মউত ঘটান। তিনিই তোমাদের এবং তোমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষদের প্রভু।
There is no God save Him. He quickeneth and giveth death; your Lord and Lord of your forefathers.
বস্তুতঃ তারা সন্দেহের মাঝে ছেলেখেলা খেলছে।
Aber nein! Sie sind im Zweifel und treiben ihr Spiel.
বরং তারা সন্দেহে থেকে খেলতামাশায় লিপ্ত হয়েছে।
Nay, but they play in doubt.
সুতরাং তুমি অপেক্ষা কর সেই দিনের যখন আকাশ নেমে আসবে প্রকাশ্য ধোঁয়া নিয়ে, - -
So erwarte den Tag, an dem der Himmel deutlichen Rauch hervorbringt,
অতএব তুমি অপেক্ষা করো সেই দিনটির যেদিন আসমান হয়ে পড়বে ঘোরতর ধোঁয়াচ্ছন্ন,
But watch thou (O Muhammad) for the day when the sky will produce visible smoke
মানুষকে জড়িয়ে ফেলে। এ এক মর্মন্তদ শাস্তি।
der die Menschen überdecken wird. Das ist eine schmerzhafte Strafe.
এবং তা ঢেকে ফেলবে সমস্ত মানুষকেও। এ হবে এক বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
That will envelop the people. This will be a painful torment.
''আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের থেকে শাস্তি সরিয়ে নাও, নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা হচ্ছি।’’
Unser Herr, nimm die Strafe von uns hinweg; wir sind (jetzt) ja gläubig.
তখন তারা বলতে থাকবে: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের থেকে সরিয়ে নাও আযাব। আমরা এখনই ঈমান আনছি।’
(Then they will say): Our Lord relieve us of the torment. Lo! we are believers.
কেমন ক’রে তাদের জন্য উপদেশ - গ্রন্থ হবে, অথচ তাদের কাছে একজন প্রকাশ্য রসূল এসেই গেছেন?
Wie soll ihnen (jetzt) die Selbstbesinnung nützen, wo bereits ein deutlicher Gesandter zu ihnen kam,
কেমন করে তারা গ্রহণ করবে উপদেশ, অথচ তাদের কাছে এসেছিল একজন সুস্পষ্ট রসূল।
How can there be remembrance for them, when a messenger making plain (the Truth) had already come unto them,
কিন্ত তারা তখন তাঁর থেকে ফিরে গিয়েছিল আর বলেছিল - - ''শেখানো, পাগল।’’
sie sich hierauf aber von ihm abkehrten und sagten: "Einer, dem vorgesagt wird, ein Besessener"?
তখন তারা একথা বলে তার থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়: ‘এ তো এক প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত পাগল।’
And they had turned away from him and said: One taught (by others), a madman ?
আমরা না হয় কিছুকালের জন্য শাস্তি স্থগিতই রাখব, কিন্ত তোমরা তো ফিরে যাবে।
Wir werden die Strafe ein wenig hinwegnehmen. Ihr werdet sicher zurückkehren.
আমি কিছু কালের জন্যে আযাব সরিয়ে নিচ্ছি, কিন্তু তোমরা তো পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরে যাবে।
Lo! We withdraw the torment a little. Lo! ye return (to disbelief).
যেদিন আমরা পাকড়াবো বিরাট ধড়পাকড়ে, সেদিন আমরা নিশ্চয়ই শেষ - পরিণতি দেখাব।
Am Tag, da Wir mit der größten Gewalt zupacken werden, gewiß, da werden Wir Vergeltung üben.
যেদিন আমরা তোমাদের প্রবলভাবে পাকড়াও করবো, সেদিন অবশ্যি আমরা তোমাদের থেকে প্রতিশোধ নেবো।
On the day when We shall seize them with the greater seizure, (then) in truth We shall punish.
আর তাদের আগে আমরা তো ফির'আউনের লোকদলকে পরীক্ষা করেইছিলাম, আর তাদের নিকট এক সম্মানিত রসূল এসেছিলেন,
Und Wir setzten bereits vor ihnen das Volk Fir'auns der Versuchung aus. Zu ihnen kam ein edler Gesandter:
এদের আগে আমরা ফেরাউনের জাতিকেও পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম এবং তাদের কাছে এসেছিল একজন সম্মানিত রসূল।
And verily We tried before them Pharaoh's folk, when there came unto them a noble messenger,
এই বলে - - ''র বান্দাদের আমার নিকট ফেরত দাও, নিঃসন্দেহ আমি তোমাদের প্রতি একজন বিশ্বস্ত বাণীবাহক,
"Übergebt mir Allahs Diener. Gewiß, ich bin für euch ein vertrauenswürdiger Gesandter.
সে তাদের বলেছিল: ‘‘আল্লাহর বান্দাদের (বনি ইসরাঈলকে) আমার হাতে প্রত্যার্পণ করো। আমি তোমাদের জন্যে একজন বিশ্বস্ত রসূল।
Saying: Give up to me the slaves of Allah. Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you.
''আর যেন তোমরা র উপরে উঠতে যেও না, নিঃসন্দেহ আমি তোমাদের কাছে নিয়ে এসেছি এক সুস্পষ্ট দলিল।
Und seid Allah gegenüber nicht überheblich. Gewiß, ich bringe euch eine deutliche Ermächtigung.
আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে বড়াই করোনা, আমি (আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে) তোমাদের কাছে নিয়ে এসেছি সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ।
And saying: Be not proud against Allah. Lo! I bring you a clear warrant.
''আর আমি আলবৎ আশ্রয় চাইছি আমার প্রভু ও তোমাদের প্রভুর কাছে, পাছে তোমরা আমাকে পাথর মে’রে মেরে ফেল।
Und gewiß, ich nehme Zuflucht bei meinem Herrn und eurem Herrn davor, daß ihr mich steinigt.
তোমরা যেনো আমাকে পাথর মেরে হত্যা করতে না পারো, সে জন্যে আমি আমার প্রভু এবং তোমাদের প্রভু (আল্লাহর) আশ্রয় গ্রহণ করেছি।
And lo! I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord lest ye stone me to death.
''আর যদি তোমরা আমাতে বিশ্বাস না কর তাহলে আমাকে যেতে দাও।’’
Und wenn ihr mir nicht glaubt, dann haltet euch (wenigstens) fern von mir."
তোমরা যদি আমার প্রতি ঈমান না আনো, তাহলে আমার থেকে দূরে থাকো।’’
And if ye put no faith in me, then let me go.
তারপর তিনি তাঁর প্রভুকে ডেকে বললেন - - ''এরা হচ্ছে এক অপরাধী জাতি।’’
Da rief er zu seinem Herrn: "Diese sind ein Volk von Übeltätern."
অত:পর মূসা তার প্রভুকে ডেকে বললো: ‘এরা তো এক অপরাধী জাতি।’
And he cried unto his Lord, (saying): These are guilty folk.
''তাহলে আমার বান্দাদের নিয়ে রাত্রিকালে রওয়ানা হও, তোমরা অবশ্যই পশ্চাদ্ধাবিত হবে,
- "Zieh bei Nacht mit Meinen Dienern fort; ihr werdet ja verfolgt werden.
(তখন আমরা তাকে নির্দেশ দিয়েছি:) ‘তুমি রাতের বেলায় আমার দাসদের নিয়ে বেরিয়ে পড়ো। পেছনে থেকে তোমাদের ধাওয়া করা হবে।’
Then (his Lord commanded): Take away My slaves by night. Lo! ye will be followed,
আর সমুদ্রকে পেছনে রেখে যাও শান্ত অবস্থায়। নিঃসন্দেহ তারা হচ্ছে এমন এক বাহিনী যারা নিমজ্জিত হবে।’’
Und laß das Meer in Ruhe zurück'. Gewiß, sie sind eine Heerschar, die ertränkt werden soll."
সমুদ্রকে স্থির থাকতে দাও, ওরা সেই বাহিনী যারা ডুবে মরবে।
And leave the sea behind at rest, for lo! they are a drowned host.
তারা পেছনে ফেলে এসেছে কত যে বাগান ও ঝরনা,
Wie viele Gärten und Quellen ließen sie zurück
কতো যে বাগবাগিচা আর ঝরণাধারা পেছনে রেখে এসেছিল তারা!
How many were the gardens and the watersprings that they left behind,
আর খেত - খামার ও মনোরম বাসস্থান,
und Getreidefelder und treffliche Stätte
রেখে এসেছিল শস্য ক্ষেত, বিলাসবহুল প্রাসাদ,
And the cornlands and the goodly sites
আর ভোগসামগ্রী যাতে তারা অবস্থান করত।
und ein angenehmes Leben, in dem sie vergnügt waren!
আর কতো যে বিলাস সামগ্রী, যেগুলোতে তারা ছিলো উল্লাসে মত্ত।
And pleasant things wherein they took delight!
এইভাবেই, আর এইসব আমরা অন্য এক জাতিকে উত্তরাধিকার করতে দিয়েছিলাম।
So (war es). Und Wir gaben es anderen Leuten zum Erbe.
এমনটিই ঘটেছিল, আর আমরা এসব কিছুর ওয়ারিশ বানিয়েছিলাম অপর একদল লোককে।
Even so (it was), and We made it an inheritance for other folk;
তারপর মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবী তাদের জন্য কাঁদে নি, আর তারা অবকাশপ্রাপ্তও হয়নি।
Weder Himmel noch Erde weinte über sie, und ihnen wurde kein Aufschub gewährt.
আসমান কিংবা জমিন কেউই তাদের জন্যে অশ্রুপাত করেনি এবং তাদের কোনো প্রকার অবকাশও দেয়া হয়নি।
And the heaven and the earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved.
আর আমরা নিশ্চয়ই ইসরাইলের বংশধরদের উদ্ধার করে দিয়েছিলাম লাঞ্ছনা - দায়ক শাস্তি থেকে - -
Und Wir erretteten bereits die Kinder lsra'ils von der schmachvollen Qual,
(এভাবে) আমরা নাজাত (মুক্তি) দিয়েছিলাম বনি ইসরাঈলকে লাঞ্ছনাকর আযাব থেকে,
And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom;
ফির'আউনের থেকে। নিঃসন্দেহ সে ছিল মহাউদ্ধত, সীমালংঘনকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
von Fir'aun. Er war überheblich und einer der Maßlosen.
ফেরাউনের কবল থেকে, সে ছিলো এক উদ্ধত সীমালংঘনকারী।
(We delivered them) from Pharaoh. Lo! he was a tyrant of the wanton ones.
আর আমরা অবশ্য জেনে - শুনেই তাদের নির্বাচন করেছিলাম লোকজনের উপরে,
Und Wir erwählten sie ja mit Wissen vor den (anderen) Weltenbewohnern
আমরা জেনে বুঝেই জমিনে তাদের দিয়েছিলাম শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব।
And We chose them, purposely, above (all) creatures.
আর তাদের দিয়েছিলাম কতক নিদর্শনাবলী যার মধ্যে ছিল এক সুস্পষ্ট পরীক্ষা।
und ließen ihnen von den Zeichen solche zukommen, die eine deutliche Prüfung enthielten.
আর আমরা তাদের দিয়েছিলাম নিদর্শনাবলি, যাতে ছিলো সুস্পষ্ট পরীক্ষা।
And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial.
নিঃসন্দেহ এরা তো বলেই থাকে - -
Diese sagen fürwahr:
এখন কিনা এরা বলছে:
Lo! these, forsooth, are saying:
''এইটি আমাদের প্রথমবারের মৃত্যু বৈ তো নয়, কাজেই আমরা তো আর পুনরুত্থিত হবো না।
"Es gibt nur unseren ersten Tod. Und wir werden nicht auferstehen.
‘‘আমাদের প্রথম মউত ছাড়া আর কিছু নেই, আমাদের পুনরুত্থিত করা হবেনা।
There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again.
''তাহলে আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের নিয়ে এস, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও।’’
Bringt doch unsere Väter zurück, wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid."
তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে আমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষদের উঠিয়ে এনে দেখাও।’’
Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth!
এরাই কি ভাল, না তুব্বার লোকেরা, এবং যারা এদের পূর্ববর্তী ছিল? আমরা তাদের ধ্বংস করেছিলাম, কারণ তারা ছিল অপরাধী।
Sind sie etwa besser oder das Volk Tubba's und diejenigen vor ihnen? Wir vernichteten sie; sie waren ja Übeltäter.
এরাই কি শ্রেষ্ঠ, নাকি তুববা জাতি এবং তাদের আগেকার লোকেরা? আমরা তাদের হালাক (ধ্বংস) করে দিয়েছিলাম, কারণ তারা ছিলো অপরাধী।
Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them ? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty.
আর আমরা মহাকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবী আর এ দুইয়ের মধ্যে যা - কিছু আছে তা ছেলে - খেলার জন্য সৃষ্টি করি নি।
Und Wir haben die Himmel und die Erde und was dazwischen ist, nicht zum Spiel erschaffen.
আমরা মহাকাশ, এই পৃথিবী এবং এদের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু খেলাচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।
And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play.
আমরা এদুটিকে সত্যের জন্য ভিন্ন সৃষ্টি করি নি, কিন্ত তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
Wir haben sie nur in Wahrheit erschaffen. Aber die meisten von ihnen wissen nicht.
আমরা এ দুটো (মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবী) বাস্তব কারণ ছাড়া সৃষ্টি করিনি। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষই জানেনা।
We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not.
নিঃসন্দেহ ফয়সালার দিন হচ্ছে তাদের সবার নির্ধারিত দিনকাল,
Gewiß, der Tag der Entscheidung ist ihrer aller festgesetzte Zeit,
বিচারের দিনই হলো তাদের মিকাত (শেষ সীমা ও শেষ সময়)।
Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term for all of them,
যেদিন এক বন্ধু আরেক বন্ধুর থেকে কোনো প্রকারে লাভবান হবে না, আর তাদের সাহায্যও করা হবে না, - -
der Tag, an dem kein Schutzherr seinem Schützling etwas nützen kann und ihnen keine Hilfe zuteil wird,
সেদিন বন্ধু বন্ধুর উপকারে আসবেনা এবং সাহায্যও করা হবেনা তাদের।
A day when friend can in naught avail friend, nor can they be helped,
তারা ব্যতীত যাদের প্রতি করুণা করেছেন। নিঃসন্দেহ তিনি, তিনিই তো মহাশক্তিশালী, অফুরন্ত ফলদাতা।
außer demjenigen, dessen Allah sich erbarmt. Er ist ja der Allmächtige und Barmherzige.
তবে যার প্রতি রহম করবেন, তার কথা ভিন্ন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি মহাশক্তিধর, পরম করুণাময়।
Save him on whom Allah hath mercy. Lo! He is the Mighty, the Merciful.
নিঃসন্দেহ যিক্কুম বৃক্ষ,
Gewiß, der Zaqqum-Baum
নিশ্চয়ই যাক্কুম গাছ হবে
Lo! the tree of Zaqqum,
পাপীদের খাদ্য, - -
ist die Speise des Sünders;
পাপিষ্ঠদের খাদ্য,
The food of the sinner!
গলিত পিতলের মতো, - - পেটের ভেতরে,
wie siedendes Öl kocht er in den Bäuchen,
গলিত তামার মতো ফুটতে থাকবে তাদের পেটে,
Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies
ফুটন্ত পানির টগবগ করার মতো।
wie das heiße Wasser kocht.
যেভাবে ফোটে টগবগে ফুটন্ত পানি।
As the seething of boiling water.
''তাকে পাকড়ো, তারপর তাকে টেনে নিয়ে যাও ভয়ংকর আগুনের মাঝখানে,
"Nehmt ihn und schleppt ihn mitten in den Höllenbrand hinein.
(বলা হবে:) ওকে পাকড়াও করো এবং টেনে নিয়ে যাও জাহিমের (জাহান্নামের) মাঝখানে,
(And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell,
''তারপর তার মাথার উপরে ঢেলে দাও ফুটন্ত পানির শাস্তি,
Hierauf gießt über seinen Kopf von der Strafe des heißen Wassers.
তারপর তার মাথায় ঢালো টগবগে ফুটন্ত পানির আযাব।
Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water.
''আস্বাদ কর, তুমি তো ছিলে মহাশক্তিশালী, পরম সম্মানিত!’
Koste (doch); du bist ja der Mächtige und Edle!"
(তাকে আরো বলা হবে:) স্বাদ গ্রহণ করো, তুমি ছিলে বড় ইযযতওয়ালা, অভিজাত।
(Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble!
''আলবৎ এ হচ্ছে সেই যে - সন্বন্ধে তোমরা সন্দেহ করতে।’’
Das ist (es) ja, worüber ihr zu zweifeln pflegtet.
এ হলো সেই জিনিস, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা সন্দেহ করতে।
Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt.
অবশ্য ধর্মভীরুরা থাকবে নিরাপদ স্থানে - -
Gewiß, die Gottesfürchtigen befinden sich an sicherer Stätte,
নিশ্চয়ই মুত্তাকিরা থাকবে নিরাপদ জায়গায়,
Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured.
বাগানের ও ঝরনার মধ্যে,
in Gärten und an Quellen.
উদ্যানরাজি আর ঝরণাধারা সমূহের মাঝে,
Amid gardens and watersprings,
তারা পরিধান করবে মিহি রেশম ও পুরু জরিদার পোশাক, পরস্পরের মুখোমুখি হয়ে।
Sie tragen (Gewänder) aus Seidenbrokat und schwerem Brokat (,) und (sie liegen) einander gegenüber.
তারা সেখানে পরবে মিহি ও পুরো রেশমের পোশাক এবং বসবে মুখোমুখি হয়ে।
Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another.
এইভাবেই! আমরা তাদের জোড় মিলিয়ে দেব আয়তলোচন হূরদের সাথে।
So ist es. Und Wir geben ihnen als Gattinnen Huris mit schönen, großen Augen.
এমনটিই ঘটবে, আর আমরা তাদের সংগিনী হিসেবে তাদের সাথে বিয়ে দেবো বড় চোখওয়ালা নারীদের।
Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes.
সেখানে তারা আনতে বলবে বিবিধ ফলফসল, নিরাপত্তার সাথে।
Sie rufen darin nach Früchten aller Art (und sind dort) in Sicherheit.
সেখানে তারা সব রকমের ফলফলারি আনতে বলবে প্রশান্ত হৃদয়ে।
They call therein for every fruit in safety.
তারা সেখানে মৃত্যু আস্বাদন করবে না প্রথমবারের মৃত্যু ব্যতীত; আর তিনি তাদের রক্ষা করবেন ভয়ংকর আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে - -
Sie kosten darin nicht den Tod, außer dem ersten Tod. Und Er bewahrt sie vor der Strafe des Höllenbrandes
প্রথম যে মৃত্যু হয়েছে তাছাড়া আর কোনো মৃত্যু তারা আস্বাদন করবেনা এবং তাদের রক্ষা করা হবে জাহিমের (জাহান্নামের) আযাব থেকে।
They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell,
তোমার প্রভুর কাছ থেকে এ এক করুণা। এটি খোদ এক বিরাট সাফল্য।
als Huld von deinem Herrn. Das ist der großartige Erfolg.
এসবই তোমার প্রভুর অনুগ্রহ। এটাই হবে মহাসাফল্য।
A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph.
সুতরাং আমরা নিশ্চয় এটিকে তোমার ভাষায় সহজ করে দিয়েছি যেন তারা মনোনিবেশ করতে পারে।
Wir haben ihn in deiner Sprache wahrlich leicht gemacht, auf daß sie bedenken mögen.
এই কুরআনকে আমরা তোমার ভাষায় সহজ করে দিয়েছি, যাতে করে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed.
সুতরাং তুমি প্রতীক্ষা কর, নিঃসন্দেহ তারাও অপেক্ষমাণ রয়েছে।
Warte nun ab; auch sie warten ab.
