Chapter 101, 11 verses
মহাসংকট!
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:
বিসমিল্লাহির রাহমা-নির রাহি-ম আল্ক্ব-রি'আতু
কী সে মহাসংকট?
What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?
মাল্ক্ব-রি'আহ্।
হায়, কিভাবে তোমাকে বোঝানো যাবে সেই মহাসংকট কি?
And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?
অমা য় আদ্র-কা মাল্ক্ব-রি'আহ্।
সেইদিন মানুষরা হবে বিক্ষিপ্ত পঙ্গপালের মতো,
(It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,
ইয়াওমা ইয়াকূনুন্না-সু কাল্ফার শিল্ মাব্ছূছি।
আর পাহাড়গুলো হয়ে যাবে ধোনা পশমের মতো।
And the mountains will be like carded wool.
অতাকূনুল্ জ্বিবা-লু কাল্ ই'হ্নিল্ মান্ফূশ্।
সুতরাং তার ক্ষেত্রে যার পাল্লা ভারী হবে, - -
Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,
ফাআম্মা-মান্ ছাকুলাত্ মাওয়া-যীনুহূ।
সে তো তখন হবে সন্তোষজনক জীবনযাপনে।
Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.
ফাহুওয়া ফী ঈ'শার্তি রা-দ্বিয়াহ্
কিন্ত তার ক্ষেত্রে যার পাল্লা হবে হাল্কা - -
But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light, -
অআম্মা- মান্ খাফ্ফাত্ মাওয়া-যীনুহূ।
তার মাতা হবে হাবিয়াহ্।
Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.
ফাউম্মুহূ হা-ওয়িয়াহ্।
হায়, কি করে তোমাকে বোঝানো যাবে কী সেই!
And what will explain to thee what this is?
অমা য় আদ্রা-কা মা-হিয়াহ্
জ্বলন্ত আগুন।
(It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!
না-রুন্ হা-মিয়াহ্।
