আমরা কি তোমার বক্ষ প্রশস্ত করে দিই নি?

Yusuf Ali

Have We not expanded thee thy breast? -

জহুরুল হক

আর আমরা তোমার থেকে লাঘব করেছি তোমার ভার, - -

Yusuf Ali

And removed from thee thy burden

জহুরুল হক

যা চেপে বসেছিল তোমার পিঠে;

Yusuf Ali

The which did gall thy back? -

জহুরুল হক

আর আমরা তোমার জন্য উন্নত করেছি তোমার নামোল্লেখ।

Yusuf Ali

And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?

জহুরুল হক

অতএব কষ্টের সঙ্গেই তো আরাম রয়েছে,

Yusuf Ali

So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:

জহুরুল হক

নিশ্চয় কষ্টের সঙ্গে আরাম রয়েছে।

Yusuf Ali

Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.

জহুরুল হক

সুতরাং যখন তুমি মুক্ত হয়েছে তখন কঠোর পরিশ্রম করো,

Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,

জহুরুল হক

আর তোমার প্রভুর প্রতি তবে একান্তভাবে মনোনিবেশ করো।

Yusuf Ali

And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.
