Chapter 104, 9 verses
আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, পরম করুণাময় পরম দয়ালু; দুর্ভোগ প্রত্যেকের জন্য, যে মানুষকে বিদ্রুপ করে ও নিন্দা করে,
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Woe unto every slandering traducer,
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
যে সম্পদ জমা করে এবং তা গুনে রাখে,
Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it.
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
সে মনে করে তার সম্পদ তাকে চিরস্থায়ী করবে,
He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal.
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
কখনোই না; অবশ্যই তাকে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে হুতামায়,
Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One.
كَلَّا لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
আর তুমি কি জানো হুতামা কী?
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is!
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
এটি আল্লাহর আগুন,
(It is) the fire of Allah, kindled,
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
যা হৃদয় পর্যন্ত পৌঁছে যায়,
Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men).
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
নিশ্চয়ই তারা আবদ্ধ থাকবে,
Lo! it is closed in on them
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
লম্বা খুঁটিসমূহের ভেতরে।
In outstretched columns.
فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
