আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, পরম করুণাময় পরম দয়ালু; আকাশসমূহে এবং পৃথিবীতে যা আছে, সবকিছুই আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করে। আর তিনিই মহাশক্তিশালী, মহাপ্রজ্ঞাবান।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth glorifies Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم سبح لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض ۖ وهو العزيز الحكيم

তিনিই কিতাবপ্রাপ্তদের মধ্যে যারা অবিশ্বাস করেছে, তাদেরকে প্রথম সমাবেশে তাদের ঘরবাড়ি থেকে বের করে দিয়েছেন। তোমরা ধারণাও করনি যে তারা বের হবে, আর তারাও মনে করেছিল যে তাদের দুর্গসমূহ তাদেরকে থেকে রক্ষা করবে। কিন্তু এমন দিক থেকে তাদের কাছে এসেছেন, যা তারা ধারণাও করেনি, এবং তিনি তাদের অন্তরে ভীতি নিক্ষেপ করেছেন। তারা নিজেদের ঘর নিজেদের হাতে এবং মুমিনদের হাতে ধ্বংস করছিল। অতএব, হে দৃষ্টিসম্পন্নরা, শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করো।

He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banu An-Nadir) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But Allah's (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take admonition, O you with eyes (to see).

هو الذي أخرج الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب من ديارهم لأول الحشر ۚ ما ظننتم أن يخرجوا ۖ وظنوا أنهم مانعتهم حصونهم من الله فأتاهم الله من حيث لم يحتسبوا ۖ وقذف في قلوبهم الرعب ۚ يخربون بيوتهم بأيديهم وأيدي المؤمنين فاعتبروا يا أولي الأبصار

আর যদি তাদের জন্য নির্বাসন নির্ধারণ না করতেন, তবে তিনি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে দুনিয়াতেই শাস্তি দিতেন। আর পরকালে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে আগুনের শাস্তি।

And had it not been that Allah had decreed exile for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world; and in the Hereafter theirs shall be the torment of the Fire.

ولولا أن كتب الله عليهم الجلاء لعذبهم في الدنيا ۖ ولهم في الآخرة عذاب النار

এটি এ কারণে যে তারা ও তাঁর রাসূলের বিরোধিতা করেছে। আর যে আল্লাহর বিরোধিতা করে, তবে নিশ্চয়ই শাস্তি প্রদানে কঠোর।

That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). And whosoever opposes Allah, then verily, Allah is Severe in punishment.

ذلك بأنهم شاقوا الله ورسوله ۖ ومن يشاق الله فإن الله شديد العقاب

তোমরা যে কোনো খেজুরগাছ কেটেছো অথবা যেগুলোকে তাদের শিকড়ের উপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে দিয়েছো, তা আল্লাহর অনুমতিক্রমেই হয়েছে এবং যাতে তিনি অবাধ্যদের লাঞ্ছিত করেন।

এখানে "যেগুলোকে তাদের শিকড়ের উপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে দিয়েছো" বলতে যেগুলোকে না কেটে রেখে দিয়েছো বুঝানো হয়েছে।

What you (O Muslims) cut down of the palm-trees (of the enemy), or you left them standing on their stems, it was by Leave of Allah, and in order that He might disgrace the Fasiqun (the rebellious, the disobedient to Allah).

ما قطعتم من لينة أو تركتموها قائمة على أصولها فبإذن الله وليخزي الفاسقين

আর তাঁর রাসূলকে তাদের কাছ থেকে যা ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছেন, তার জন্য তোমরা কোনো ঘোড়া বা উট দৌড়াওনি। কিন্তু তাঁর রাসূলদেরকে যাদের উপর ইচ্ছা কর্তৃত্ব দান করেন। আর সবকিছুর উপর সর্বশক্তিমান।

And what Allah gave as booty (Fai') to His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from them, for this you made no expedition with either cavalry or camelry. But Allah gives power to His Messengers over whomsoever He wills. And Allah is Able to do all things.

وما أفاء الله على رسوله منهم فما أوجفتم عليه من خيل ولا ركاب ولكن الله يسلط رسله على من يشاء ۚ والله على كل شيء قدير

জনপদবাসীদের কাছ থেকে তাঁর রাসূলকে যা ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছেন, তা , রাসূল, নিকটাত্মীয়, এতিম, দরিদ্র এবং পথিকের জন্য, যাতে তা তোমাদের ধনীদের মধ্যেই শুধু আবর্তিত না হয়। আর রাসূল তোমাদেরকে যা দেন, তা গ্রহণ করো এবং যা থেকে তিনি তোমাদেরকে নিষেধ করেন, তা থেকে বিরত থাকো। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করো। নিশ্চয়ই শাস্তি প্রদানে কঠোর।

What Allah gave as booty (Fai') to His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from the people of the townships - it is for Allah, His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), the kindred (of Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), the orphans, Al-Masakin (the poor), and the wayfarer, in order that it may not become a fortune used by the rich among you. And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it). And fear Allah; verily, Allah is Severe in punishment.

ما أفاء الله على رسوله من أهل القرى فلله وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل كي لا يكون دولة بين الأغنياء منكم ۚ وما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا ۚ واتقوا الله ۖ إن الله شديد العقاب

এটি সেই দরিদ্র প্রবাসীদের জন্য, যারা তাদের ঘরবাড়ি ও সম্পদ থেকে বের করে দেওয়া হয়েছে। তারা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে এবং ও তাঁর রাসূলকে সাহায্য করে। তারাই সত্যবাদী।

(And there is also a share in this booty) for the poor emigrants, who were expelled from their homes and their property, seeking Bounties from Allah and to please Him, and helping Allah (i.e. helping His religion) and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). Such are indeed the truthful (to what they say).

للفقراء المهاجرين الذين أخرجوا من ديارهم وأموالهم يبتغون فضلا من الله ورضوانا وينصرون الله ورسوله ۚ أولئك هم الصادقون

আর যারা তাদের আগে এই স্থানে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল এবং বিশ্বাস এনেছিল, তারা তাদের কাছে যারা দেশত্যাগ করে এসেছে, তাদেরকে ভালোবাসে। আর তাদেরকে যা দেওয়া হয়েছে, তার জন্য তারা নিজেদের অন্তরে কোনো প্রয়োজন অনুভব করে না। আর তারা নিজেদের উপর তাদেরকে অগ্রাধিকার দেয়, যদিও তারা নিজেরাই অভাবগ্রস্ত থাকে। আর যে নিজের মনের কৃপণতা থেকে রক্ষা পায়, তারাই সফল।

And (it is also for) those who, before them, had homes (in Al-Madinah) and had adopted the Faith, love those who emigrate to them, and have no jealousy in their breasts for that which they have been given (from the booty of Banu An-Nadir), and give them (emigrants) preference over themselves even though they were in need of that. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, such are they who will be the .

والذين تبوءوا الدار والإيمان من قبلهم يحبون من هاجر إليهم ولا يجدون في صدورهم حاجة مما أوتوا ويؤثرون على أنفسهم ولو كان بهم خصاصة ۚ ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون

আর যারা তাদের পরে এসেছে, তারা বলে, “হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদেরকে এবং আমাদের সেই ভাইদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন, যারা ঈমানে আমাদের আগে অগ্রগামী হয়েছে। আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে, তাদের প্রতি আমাদের অন্তরে কোনো বিদ্বেষ রাখবেন না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, নিশ্চয়ই আপনি অতি স্নেহশীল, পরম দয়ালু।”

And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful.

والذين جاءوا من بعدهم يقولون ربنا اغفر لنا ولإخواننا الذين سبقونا بالإيمان ولا تجعل في قلوبنا غلا للذين آمنوا ربنا إنك رءوف رحيم

তুমি কি তাদের দেখনি, যারা কপটতা করেছে? তারা কিতাবপ্রাপ্তদের মধ্যে যারা অবিশ্বাস করেছে, তাদের ভাইদের বলে, “তোমরা যদি বের করে দেওয়া হও, তবে অবশ্যই আমরা তোমাদের সঙ্গে বের হয়ে যাবো এবং তোমাদের ব্যাপারে কখনো কারও কথা মানবো না। আর যদি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করা হয়, তবে অবশ্যই আমরা তোমাদের সাহায্য করবো।” আর সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছেন যে তারা অবশ্যই মিথ্যাবাদী।

কপটতা means "Hypocrisy"

Have you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) not observed the hypocrites who say to their friends among the people of the Scripture who disbelieve: "(By Allah) If you are expelled, we (too) indeed will go out with you, and we shall never obey any one against you; and if you are attacked (in fight), we shall indeed help you." But Allah is Witness that they verily are liars.

۞ ألم تر إلى الذين نافقوا يقولون لإخوانهم الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب لئن أخرجتم لنخرجن معكم ولا نطيع فيكم أحدا أبدا وإن قوتلتم لننصرنكم والله يشهد إنهم لكاذبون

যদি তাদের বের করে দেওয়া হয়, তারা তাদের সঙ্গে বের হবে না। আর যদি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করা হয়, তারা তাদের সাহায্য করবে না। আর যদি তারা তাদের সাহায্য করেও, তবে তারা অবশ্যই পেছন ফিরে পালাবে। তারপর তাদেরকে সাহায্য করা হবে না।

Surely, if they (the Jews) are expelled, never will they (hypocrites) go out with them; and if they are attacked, they will never help them. And (even) if they do help them, they (hypocrites) will turn their backs, and they will not be victorious.

لئن أخرجوا لا يخرجون معهم ولئن قوتلوا لا ينصرونهم ولئن نصروهم ليولن الأدبار ثم لا ينصرون

এদের মনে আল্লাহর চেয়ে তোমাদের ভয়ই বেশি, কারণ তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়, যারা বোঝে না।

Verily, you (believers in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) are more fearful in their (Jews of Banu An-Nadir) breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power of Allah).

لأنتم أشد رهبة في صدورهم من الله ۚ ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون

তারা সংঘবদ্ধ হয়ে তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করবে না, তবে সুরক্ষিত নগর অথবা দুর্গ প্রাচীরের আড়ালে থেকে। তাদের নিজেদের মধ্যে বিরোধ প্রবল। তুমি মনে করো তারা ঐক্যবদ্ধ, অথচ ভিতরে তাদের মধ্যে মিল নাই। কারণ তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়, যারা বোঝে না।

They fight not against you even together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Their enmity among themselves is very great. You would think they were united, but their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people who understand not.

لا يقاتلونكم جميعا إلا في قرى محصنة أو من وراء جدر ۚ بأسهم بينهم شديد ۚ تحسبهم جميعا وقلوبهم شتى ۚ ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يعقلون

তাদের অবস্থা তাদের পূর্বসূরিদের মতো, যারা নিকট অতীতে তাদের কাজের পরিণতি আস্বাদন করেছিল; আর তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।

They are like their immediate predecessors (the Jews of Banu Qainuqa', who suffered); they tasted the evil result of their conduct, and (in the Hereafter, there is) for them a painful torment.

كمثل الذين من قبلهم قريبا ۖ ذاقوا وبال أمرهم ولهم عذاب أليم

এরা শয়তানের মতো, যখন সে মানুষকে বলে, “অবিশ্বাস করো।” অতঃপর যখন সে অবিশ্বাস করে, তখন সে বলে, “নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমার থেকে মুক্ত। নিশ্চয়ই আমি আল্লাহকে, সৃষ্টিজগতের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করি।”

(Their allies deceived them) like Shaitan (Satan), when he says to man: "Disbelieve in Allah." But when (man) disbelieves in Allah, Shaitan (Satan) says: "I am free of you, I fear Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!"

كمثل الشيطان إذ قال للإنسان اكفر فلما كفر قال إني بريء منك إني أخاف الله رب العالمين

অতএব, তাদের উভয়ের পরিণতি হলো তারা আগুনে থাকবে, সেখানে চিরস্থায়ী হবে। আর এটিই জুলুমকারীদের প্রতিফল।

So the end of both will be that they will be in the Fire, abiding therein. Such is the recompense of the Zalimun (i.e. polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in Allah and in His Oneness).

فكان عاقبتهما أنهما في النار خالدين فيها ۚ وذلك جزاء الظالمين

হে যারা ঈমান এনেছো, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো। আর প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি যেনো দেখে যে সে আগামীকালের জন্য কী পাঠিয়েছে। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করো। নিশ্চয়ই তোমরা যা করো, সে সম্পর্কে সব জানেন।

O you who believe! Fear Allah and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for the morrow, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله ولتنظر نفس ما قدمت لغد ۖ واتقوا الله ۚ إن الله خبير بما تعملون

আর তোমরা তাদের মতো হয়ো না, যারা আল্লাহকে ভুলে গেছে; ফলে তিনি তাদের নিজেদেরকেই ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছেন। তারাই অবাধ্য।

And be not like those who forgot Allah (i.e. became disobedient to Allah), and He caused them to forget their ownselves, (let them to forget to do righteous deeds). Those are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

ولا تكونوا كالذين نسوا الله فأنساهم أنفسهم ۚ أولئك هم الفاسقون

আগুনের অধিবাসী এবং বেহেশতের অধিবাসী সমান নয়। বেহেশতের অধিবাসীরাই সফল।
Note
"আগুনের" অধিবাসী বলতে "জাহান্নামের" অধিবাসী এবং "বেহেস্তের" অধিবাসী বলতে "জান্নাতের" অধিবাসী বুঝানো হয়েছে।

Not equal are the dwellers of the Fire and the dwellers of the Paradise. It is the dwellers of Paradise that will be .

لا يستوي أصحاب النار وأصحاب الجنة ۚ أصحاب الجنة هم الفائزون

যদি আমরা এই কুরআনকে কোনো পর্বতের উপর অবতীর্ণ করতাম, তবে তুমি অবশ্যই তাকে দেখতে যে, আল্লাহর ভয়ে তা অবনত ও বিদীর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আর এসব দৃষ্টান্ত আমরা মানুষের জন্য দিই, যাতে তারা চিন্তা করে।

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rent asunder by the fear of Allah. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect.

لو أنزلنا هذا القرآن على جبل لرأيته خاشعا متصدعا من خشية الله ۚ وتلك الأمثال نضربها للناس لعلهم يتفكرون

তিনি , তিনি ছাড়া কোনো নেই। তিনি ও দৃশ্যমান সবকিছু জানেন। তিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু।

He is Allah, beside Whom La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

هو الله الذي لا إله إلا هو ۖ عالم الغيب والشهادة ۖ هو الرحمن الرحيم

তিনি , তিনি ছাড়া কোনো নেই। তিনি রাজা, পবিত্র, শান্তির উৎস, নিরাপত্তাদাতা, রক্ষক, মহাপরাক্রমশালী, পরাক্রমশালী, মহিমান্বিত। তারা যাকে শরিক করে, তা থেকে পবিত্র।

He is Allah beside Whom La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allah! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him.

هو الله الذي لا إله إلا هو الملك القدوس السلام المؤمن المهيمن العزيز الجبار المتكبر ۚ سبحان الله عما يشركون

তিনি , সৃষ্টিকর্তা, সৃষ্টির সূচনাকারী, আকৃতি-প্রদানকারী। তাঁরই জন্য রয়েছে সুন্দরতম নামসমূহ। আকাশসমূহ ও পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে, সবকিছুই তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করে। আর তিনি মহাপরাক্রমশালী, মহাপ্রজ্ঞাবান।

He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

هو الله الخالق البارئ المصور ۖ له الأسماء الحسنى ۚ يسبح له ما في السماوات والأرض ۖ وهو العزيز الحكيم
