About this chapter

সর্বমহান আল্লাহ এই সূরা দিয়ে জানিয়ে দিলেন যে মুহাম্মদ (সা:) রাতের গভীর অন্ধকারে অনিষ্টকারী হিংসুকদের (জাদু) দ্বারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ (অসুস্থ) হয়েছেন, যখন এই সূরা ফালাক পড়লেন এবং এর পরবর্তী সূরা নাস পড়লেন তখন তিনি সর্বমহান আল্লাহের কৃপায় সুস্থ হয়ে উঠলেন।

আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু; বলো, আমি আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করি ভোরের প্রতিপালকের নিকট,

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak,

"And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away),

"And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots,
