সমকালীন বাংলা

আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, পরম করুণাময় পরম দয়ালু; শপথ নক্ষত্রপুঞ্জ সম্বলিত আকাশের,

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

শপথ গ্রহ - নক্ষত্র শোভিত আকাশের,

Saheeh International

By the sky containing great stars

সমকালীন বাংলা

এবং প্রতিশ্রুত দিনের,

Arabic, with marks

وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

এবং প্রতিশ্রুত দিবসের,

Saheeh International

And [by] the promised Day

সমকালীন বাংলা

এবং সাক্ষ্যদাতা ও যার সাক্ষ্য দেওয়া হয় তার,

وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

এবং সেই দিবসের, যে উপস্থিত হয় ও যাতে উপস্থিত হয়

Saheeh International

And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,

সমকালীন বাংলা

ধ্বংস করা হয়েছিল গর্তের অধিকারীদের,

قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

অভিশপ্ত হয়েছে গর্ত ওয়ালারা অর্থাৎ,

Saheeh International

Cursed were the companions of the trench

সমকালীন বাংলা

জ্বালানি পূর্ণ অগ্নিকুণ্ড,

النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

অনেক ইন্ধনের অগ্নিসংযোগকারীরা;

Saheeh International

[Containing] the fire full of fuel,

যখন তারা তার চারপাশে বসেছিল,

إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

যখন তারা তার কিনারায় বসেছিল।

Saheeh International

When they were sitting near it

সমকালীন বাংলা

এবং তারা মুমিনদের প্রতি যা করছিল তার সাক্ষী ছিল,

وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

এবং তারা বিশ্বাসীদের সাথে যা করেছিল, তা নিরীক্ষণ করছিল।

Saheeh International

And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.

সমকালীন বাংলা

এবং তারা তাদের ওপর প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছিল কেবল এজন্য যে তারা বিশ্বাস করেছিল আল্লাহর প্রতি, যিনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রশংসিত,

وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ

তারা তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিয়েছিল শুধু এ কারণে যে, তারা প্রশংসিত, পরাক্রান্ত আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল,

Saheeh International

And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,

সমকালীন বাংলা

যাঁর জন্য আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর রাজত্ব; এবং সবকিছুর ওপর সাক্ষী,

الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের ক্ষমতার মালিক, আল্লাহর সামনে রয়েছে সবকিছু।

Saheeh International

To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.

সমকালীন বাংলা

নিশ্চয়ই যারা পুরুষ ও নারীদের নির্যাতন করেছে, অতঃপর তাওবা করেনি, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি এবং রয়েছে দহনশাস্তি,

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

যারা পুরুষ ও নারীকে নিপীড়ন করেছে, অতঃপর তওবা করেনি, তাদের জন্যে আছে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি, আর আছে দহন যন্ত্রণা,

Saheeh International

Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.

সমকালীন বাংলা

নিশ্চয়ই যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে জান্নাত, যার নিচে নদীমালা প্রবাহিত; এটাই মহাসাফল্য,

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাদের জন্যে আছে জান্নাত, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।

Saheeh International

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.

সমকালীন বাংলা

নিশ্চয়ই তোমার প্রতিপালকের পাকড়াও অত্যন্ত কঠোর,

إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

নিশ্চয় তোমার পালনকর্তার পাকড়াও অত্যন্ত কঠিন।

Saheeh International

Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.

সমকালীন বাংলা

নিশ্চয়ই তিনিই প্রথম সৃষ্টি করেন এবং পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করবেন,

إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

তিনিই প্রথমবার অস্তিত্ব দান করেন এবং পুনরায় জীবিত করেন।

Saheeh International

Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.

সমকালীন বাংলা

এবং তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, স্নেহময়,

وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, প্রেমময়;

Saheeh International

And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,

আরশের অধিকারী, মহিমান্বিত,

ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيدُ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

মহান আরশের অধিকারী।

Saheeh International

Honorable Owner of the Throne,

সমকালীন বাংলা

তিনি যা ইচ্ছা করেন, তা করেন,

فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

তিনি যা চান, তাই করেন।

Effecter of what He intends.

সমকালীন বাংলা

তোমার কাছে কি বাহিনীগুলোর সংবাদ পৌঁছেছে?

هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

আপনার কাছে সৈন্যবাহিনীর ইতিবৃত্ত পৌছেছে কি?

Saheeh International

Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -

ফেরাউন ও সামূদের?

فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

ফেরাউনের এবং সামুদের?

Saheeh International

[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?

সমকালীন বাংলা

তবুও অবিশ্বাসীরা মিথ্যারোপে লিপ্ত,

بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

বরং যারা , তারা মিথ্যারোপে রত আছে।

Saheeh International

But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,

আর তাদেরকে পরিবেষ্টন করে আছেন,

وَاللَّهُ مِن وَرَائِهِم مُّحِيطٌ

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

তাদেরকে চতুর্দিক থেকে পরিবেষ্টন করে রেখেছেন।

Saheeh International

While Allah encompasses them from behind.

সমকালীন বাংলা

বরং এটি মহিমান্বিত কুরআন,

بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَّجِيدٌ

বরং এটা মহান কোরআন,

Saheeh International

But this is an honored Qur'an
