পরম দয়ালু, পরম ক্ষমাশীল আল্লাহর নামে, আলিফ - লাম্ - রা, এই কিতাব, ইহা তোমার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছি যাহাতে তুমি মানবজাতিকে তাহাদের প্রতিপালকের নিদের্শক্রমে বাহির করিয়া আনিতে পার অন্ধকার হইতে আলোকে, তাঁহার পথে যিনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রশংসার্হ,
Saheeh International
Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الر ۚ كتاب أنزلناه إليك لتخرج الناس من الظلمات إلى النور بإذن ربهم إلى صراط العزيز الحميد

আকাশ মন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে যাহা কিছু আছে তাহা তাঁহারই। কঠিন শাস্তির দুর্ভোগ কাফিরদের জন্য,
Saheeh International
Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And woe to the disbelievers from a severe punishment

الله الذي له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض ۗ وويل للكافرين من عذاب شديد
সমকালীন বাংলা
যাহারা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে আখিরাতের চেয়ে ভালবাসে, মানুষকে নিবৃত্ত করে আল্লাহর পথ হইতে এবং আল্লাহর পথ বক্র করিতে চাহে উহারা তো ঘোর বিভ্রান্তিতে রহিয়াছে।
Saheeh International
The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it (seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error.
Arabic
الذين يستحبون الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة ويصدون عن سبيل الله ويبغونها عوجا ۚ أولئك في ضلال بعيد

আমি প্রত্যেক রাসূলকেই তাহার স্বজাতির ভাষাভাষী করিয়া পাঠাইয়াছি তাহাদের নিকট পরিষ্কারভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করিবার জন্য, যাহাকে ইচ্ছা বিভ্রান্ত করেন এবং যাহাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন এবং তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

وما أرسلنا من رسول إلا بلسان قومه ليبين لهم ۖ فيضل الله من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء ۚ وهو العزيز الحكيم

মূসাকে আমি তো আমার নিদর্শনসহ প্রেরণ করিয়াছিলাম এবং বলিয়াছিলাম, ‘তোমার সম্প্রদায়কে অন্ধকার হইতে আলোতে আনয়ন কর, এবং উহাদেরকে দিবসগুলির দ্বারা উপদেশ দাও।’ ইহাতে তো নিদর্শন রহিয়াছে প্রত্যেক পরম ধৈর্যশীল ও পরম কৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির জন্য।
Saheeh International
And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah." Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

ولقد أرسلنا موسى بآياتنا أن أخرج قومك من الظلمات إلى النور وذكرهم بأيام الله ۚ إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور

স্মরণ কর, মূসা তাহার সম্প্রদায়কে বলিয়াছিল, ‘তোমরা অনুগ্রহ’ স্মরণ কর যখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করিয়াছিলেন ফির‘আওনী সম্প্রদায়ের কবল হইতে, যাহারা তোমাদেরকে নিকৃষ্ট শাস্তি দিত, তোমাদের পুত্রগণকে যবেহ্ করিত ও তোমাদের নারীগণকে জীবিত রাখিত; এবং ইহাতে ছিল তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ হইতে এক মহাপরীক্ষা।’
Saheeh International
And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to His people, "Remember the favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.

وإذ قال موسى لقومه اذكروا نعمة الله عليكم إذ أنجاكم من آل فرعون يسومونكم سوء العذاب ويذبحون أبناءكم ويستحيون نساءكم ۚ وفي ذلكم بلاء من ربكم عظيم

স্মরণ কর, তোমাদের প্রতিপালক ঘোষণা করেন, ‘তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হইলে তোমাদেরকে অবশ্যই অধিক দিব আর অকৃতজ্ঞ হইলে অবশ্যই আমার শাস্তি হইবে কঠোর।’
Saheeh International
And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' "
মূসা বলিয়াছিল, ‘তোমরা এবং পৃথিবীর সকলেই যদি অকৃতজ্ঞ হও তথাপি অভাবমুক্ত এবং প্রশংসার্হ।
Saheeh International
And Moses said, "If you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely - indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy."

وقال موسى إن تكفروا أنتم ومن في الأرض جميعا فإن الله لغني حميد

‘তোমাদের নিকট কি সংবাদ আসে নাই তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের, নূহের সম্প্রদায়ের, ‘আদের ও সামূদের এবং তাহাদের পরবর্তীদের? উহাদের বিষয় ব্যতীত অন্য কেহ জানে না।’ উহাদের নিকট স্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ উহাদের রাসূল আসিয়াছিল, উহারা উহাদের হাত উহাদের মুখে স্থাপন করিত এবং বলিত, ‘যাহাসহ তোমরা প্রেরিত হইয়াছ তাহা আমরা অবশ্যই অস্বীকার করি এবং আমরা অবশ্যই বিভ্রান্তিকর সন্দেহে রহিয়াছি সে বিষয়ে, যাহার প্রতি তোমরা আমাদেরকে আহ্বান করিতেছ।’
Saheeh International
Has there not reached you the news of those before you - the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but Allah. Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, "Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt."

ألم يأتكم نبأ الذين من قبلكم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود ۛ والذين من بعدهم ۛ لا يعلمهم إلا الله ۚ جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فردوا أيديهم في أفواههم وقالوا إنا كفرنا بما أرسلتم به وإنا لفي شك مما تدعوننا إليه مريب

উহাদের রাসূলগণ বলিয়াছিল, সম্বন্ধে কি কোন সন্দেহ আছে, যিনি আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টিকর্তা? তিনি তোমাদেরকে আহ্বান করেন তোমাদের পাপ মার্জনা করিবার জন্য এবং নির্দিষ্ট কাল পর্যন্ত তোমাদেরকে অবকাশ দিবার জন্য।’ উহারা বলিত, ‘তোমরা তো আমাদেরই মত মানুষ। আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষগণ যাহাদের ‘ইবাদত করিত তোমরা তাহাদের ‘ইবাদত হইতে আমাদেরকে বিরত রাখিতে চাও। অতএব তোমরা আমাদের নিকট কোন অকাট্য প্রমাণ উপস্থিত কর।’
Saheeh International
Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."

۞ قالت رسلهم أفي الله شك فاطر السماوات والأرض ۖ يدعوكم ليغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى ۚ قالوا إن أنتم إلا بشر مثلنا تريدون أن تصدونا عما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتونا بسلطان مبين

উহাদের রাসূলগণ উহাদেরকে বলিত, ‘সত্য বটে, আমরা তোমাদের মত মানুষই কিন্তু তাঁহার বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাহাকে ইচ্ছা অনুগ্রহ করেন। অনুমতি ব্যতীত তোমাদের নিকট প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করা আমাদের কাজ নয়। আল্লাহর উপরই মু’মিনগণের নির্ভর করা উচিত।
Saheeh International
Their messengers said to them, "We are only men like you, but Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants. It has never been for us to bring you evidence except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.

قالت لهم رسلهم إن نحن إلا بشر مثلكم ولكن الله يمن على من يشاء من عباده ۖ وما كان لنا أن نأتيكم بسلطان إلا بإذن الله ۚ وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون

আমাদের কি হইয়াছে যে, ‘আমরা আল্লাহর উপর নির্ভর করিব না? তিনিই তো আমাদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করিয়াছেন। তোমরা আমাদেরকে যে ক্লেশ দিতেছ, আমরা তাহাতে অবশ্যই ধৈর্য ধারন করিবে এবং আল্লাহর উপর নির্ভরকারীগন নির্ভর করুক।
Saheeh International
And why should we not rely upon Allah while He has guided us to our [good] ways. And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely."
Arabic
وما لنا ألا نتوكل على الله وقد هدانا سبلنا ۚ ولنصبرن على ما آذيتمونا ۚ وعلى الله فليتوكل المتوكلون

কাফিররা উহাদের রাসূলগণকে বলিয়াছিল, ‘আমরা তোমাদেরকে আমাদের দেশ হইতে অবশ্যই বহিষ্কার করিব অথবা তোমাদেরকে আমাদের ধর্মাদর্শে ফিরিয়া আসিতেই হইবে।’ অতঃপর রাসূলগণকে তাহাদের প্রতিপালক ওহী প্রেরণ করিলেন, জালিমদেরকে আমি অবশ্যই বিনাশ করিব;
Saheeh International
And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.
Arabic
وقال الذين كفروا لرسلهم لنخرجنكم من أرضنا أو لتعودن في ملتنا ۖ فأوحى إليهم ربهم لنهلكن الظالمين

‘উহাদের পরে আমি তোমাদেরকে দেশে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করিবই; ইহা তাহাদের জন্য যাহারা ভয় রাখে আমার সম্মুখে উপস্থিত হওয়ার এবং ভয় রাখে আমার শাস্তির।’
Saheeh International
And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them. That is for he who fears My position and fears My threat."
Arabic
ولنسكننكم الأرض من بعدهم ۚ ذلك لمن خاف مقامي وخاف وعيد
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বিজয় কামনা করিল এবং প্রত্যেক উদ্ধত স্বৈরাচারী ব্যর্থমনোরথ হইল।
Saheeh International
And they requested victory from Allah, and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant.

واستفتحوا وخاب كل جبار عنيد
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য পরিণামে জাহান্নাম রহিয়াছে এবং পান করানো হইবে গলিত পুঁজ;
Saheeh International
Before him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water.
Arabic
من ورائه جهنم ويسقى من ماء صديد
সমকালীন বাংলা
যাহা সে অতি কষ্টে একেক ঢোক করিয়া গলাধঃকরণ করিবে এবং উহা গলাধঃকরণ করা প্রায় সহজ হইবে না। সর্বদিক হইতে তাহার নিকট আসিবে মৃত্যুযন্ত্রণা, কিন্তু তাহার মৃত্যু ঘটিবে না এবং ইহার পর কঠোর শাস্তি ভোগ করিতেই থাকিবে।
Saheeh International
He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment.
Arabic
يتجرعه ولا يكاد يسيغه ويأتيه الموت من كل مكان وما هو بميت ۖ ومن ورائه عذاب غليظ

যাহারা তাহাদের প্রতিপালককে অস্বীকার করে তাহাদের উপমা - তাহাদের কর্মসমূহ ভস্মসদৃশ যাহা ঝড়ের দিনের বাতাস প্রচণ্ড বেগে উড়াইয়া লইয়া যায়। যাহা তাহারা উপার্জন করে তাহার কিছুই তাহারা তাহাদের কাজে লাগাইতে পারে না। ইহা তো ঘোর বিভ্রান্তি।
Saheeh International
The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.
Arabic
مثل الذين كفروا بربهم ۖ أعمالهم كرماد اشتدت به الريح في يوم عاصف ۖ لا يقدرون مما كسبوا على شيء ۚ ذلك هو الضلال البعيد

তুমি কি লক্ষ্য কর না যে, আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী যথাবিধি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন? তিনি ইচ্ছা করিলে তোমাদের অস্তিত্ব বিলোপ করিতে পারেন এবং এক নূতন সৃষ্টি অস্তিত্বে আনিতে পারেন,
Saheeh International
Have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation.
Arabic
ألم تر أن الله خلق السماوات والأرض بالحق ۚ إن يشأ يذهبكم ويأت بخلق جديد
সমকালীন বাংলা
আর ইহা আল্লার জন্য কঠিন নয়।
Saheeh International
And that is not difficult for Allah.

وما ذلك على الله بعزيز
সমকালীন বাংলা
সকলে নিকট উপস্থিত হইবে। যাহারা অহংকার করিত তখন দুর্বলেরা তাহাদেরকে বলিবে, ‘আমরা তো তোমাদের অনুসারী ছিলাম; এখন তোমরা আল্লাহর শাস্তি হইতে আমাদেরকে কিছুমাত্র রক্ষা করিতে পারিবে?’ উহারা বলিবে, আমাদেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করিলে আমরাও তোমাদেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করিতাম। এখন আমরা ধৈর্যচ্যুত হই অথবা ধৈর্যশীল হই একই কথা; আমাদের কোন নিষ্কৃতি নাই।’
Saheeh International
And they will come out [for judgement] before Allah all together, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, "Indeed, we were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the punishment of Allah?" They will say, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It is all the same for us whether we show intolerance or are patient: there is for us no place of escape."

وبرزوا لله جميعا فقال الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا من عذاب الله من شيء ۚ قالوا لو هدانا الله لهديناكم ۖ سواء علينا أجزعنا أم صبرنا ما لنا من محيص

যখন বিচারকার্য সম্পন্ন হইবে তখন শয়তান বলিবে, তো তোমাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াছিলেন সত্য প্রতিশ্রুতি, আমিও তোমাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াছিলাম, কিন্তু আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত প্রতিশ্রুতি ভঙ্গ করিয়াছি। আমার তো তোমাদের উপর কোন আধিপত্য ছিল না, আমি কেবল তোমাদেরকে আহ্বান করিয়াছিলাম এবং তোমরা আমার আহ্বানে সাড়া দিয়াছিলে। সুতরাং তোমরা আমার প্রতি দোষারোপ করিও না, তোমরা নিজেদেরই প্রতি দোষারোপ কর। আমি তোমাদের উদ্ধারে সাহায্য করিতে সক্ষম নই এবং তোমরাও আমার উদ্ধারে সাহায্য করিতে সক্ষম নও। তোমরা যে পূর্বে আমাকে শরীক করিয়াছিলে আমি তাহা অস্বীকার করিতেছি, জালিমদের জন্য তো মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি রহিয়াছে।
Saheeh International
And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."

وقال الشيطان لما قضي الأمر إن الله وعدكم وعد الحق ووعدتكم فأخلفتكم ۖ وما كان لي عليكم من سلطان إلا أن دعوتكم فاستجبتم لي ۖ فلا تلوموني ولوموا أنفسكم ۖ ما أنا بمصرخكم وما أنتم بمصرخي ۖ إني كفرت بما أشركتمون من قبل ۗ إن الظالمين لهم عذاب أليم
সমকালীন বাংলা
যাহারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাহাদেরকে দাখিল করা হইবে জান্নাতে যাহার পাদদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। সেখানে তাহারা স্থায়ী হইবে, তাহাদের প্রতিপালকের অনুমতিক্রমে, সেখানে তাহাদের অভিবাদন হইবে ‘সালাম’।
Saheeh International
And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, "Peace!"

وأدخل الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها بإذن ربهم ۖ تحيتهم فيها سلام

তুমি কি লক্ষ্য কর না কিভাবে উপমা দিয়া থাকেন? সৎবাক্যের তুলনা উৎকৃষ্ট বৃক্ষ যাহার মূল সুদৃঢ় ও যাহার শাখা - প্রশাখা ঊর্ধ্বে বিস্তৃত,
Saheeh International
Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky?
Arabic
ألم تر كيف ضرب الله مثلا كلمة طيبة كشجرة طيبة أصلها ثابت وفرعها في السماء
সমকালীন বাংলা
যাহা প্রত্যেক মওসুমে উহার ফলদান করে উহার প্রতিপালকের অনুমতিক্রমে। এবং মানুষের জন্য উপমা দিয়া থাকেন, যাহাতে তাহারা শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে।
Saheeh International
It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded.
Arabic
تؤتي أكلها كل حين بإذن ربها ۗ ويضرب الله الأمثال للناس لعلهم يتذكرون

কুবাক্যের তুলনা এক মন্দ বৃক্ষ যাহার মূল ভূপৃষ্ঠ হইতে বিচ্ছিন্ন, যাহার কোন স্থায়িত্ব নাই।
Saheeh International
And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability.
Arabic
ومثل كلمة خبيثة كشجرة خبيثة اجتثت من فوق الأرض ما لها من قرار
সমকালীন বাংলা
যাহারা শাশ্বত বাণীতে তাহাদেরকে দুনিয়ার জীবনে ও আখিরাতে সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত রাখিবেন এবং যাহারা উহাদেরকে বিভ্রান্তিতে রাখিবেন। যাহা ইচ্ছা তাহা করেন।
Saheeh International
Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills.

يثبت الله الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة ۖ ويضل الله الظالمين ۚ ويفعل الله ما يشاء

তুমি কি উহাদেরকে লক্ষ্য কর না, যাহারা অনুগ্রহের বদলে অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে এবং উহারা উহাদের সম্প্রদায়কে নামাইয়া আনে ধ্বংসের ক্ষেত্রে -
Saheeh International
Have you not considered those who exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief and settled their people [in] the home of ruin?
Arabic
۞ ألم تر إلى الذين بدلوا نعمت الله كفرا وأحلوا قومهم دار البوار

জাহান্নামে, যাহার মধ্যে উহারা প্রবেশ করিবে, কত নিকৃষ্ট এই আবাসস্থল!
Saheeh International
[It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement.
Arabic
جهنم يصلونها ۖ وبئس القرار

এবং উহারা সমকক্ষ নির্ধারণ করে তাঁহার পথ হইতে বিভ্রান্ত করিবার জন্য। বল, ‘ভোগ করিয়া লও, পরিণামে দোযখই তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল।’
Saheeh International
And they have attributed to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy yourselves, for indeed, your destination is the Fire."

وجعلوا لله أندادا ليضلوا عن سبيله ۗ قل تمتعوا فإن مصيركم إلى النار

আমার বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাহারা তাহাদেরকে তুমি বল, কায়েম করিতে এবং আমি তাহাদেরকে জীবিকা হিসাবে যাহা দিয়াছি তাহা হইতে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করিতে - সেই দিনের পূর্বে যেদিন ক্রয় - বিক্রয় ও বন্ধুত্ব থাকিবে না।’
Saheeh International
[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships.

قل لعبادي الذين آمنوا يقيموا الصلاة وينفقوا مما رزقناهم سرا وعلانية من قبل أن يأتي يوم لا بيع فيه ولا خلال

তিনিই যিনি আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন, যিনি আকাশ হইতে পানি বর্ষণ করিয়া তদ্দারা তোমাদের জীবিকার জন্য ফলমূল উৎপাদন করেন, যিনি নৌযানকে তোমাদের অধীন করিয়া দিয়াছেন যাহাতে তাঁহার বিধানে উহা সমুদ্রে বিচরণ করে এবং যিনি তোমাদের কল্যাণে নিয়োজিত করিয়াছেন নদীসমূহকে।
Saheeh International
It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and sent down rain from the sky and produced thereby some fruits as provision for you and subjected for you the ships to sail through the sea by His command and subjected for you the rivers.
Arabic
الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وأنزل من السماء ماء فأخرج به من الثمرات رزقا لكم ۖ وسخر لكم الفلك لتجري في البحر بأمره ۖ وسخر لكم الأنهار

তিনি তোমাদের কল্যাণে নিয়োজিত করিয়াছেন সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে, যাহারা অবিরাম একই নিয়মের অনুবর্তী এবং তোমাদের কল্যাণে নিয়োজিত করিয়াছেন রাত্রি ও দিবসকে।
Saheeh International
And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day.
Arabic
وسخر لكم الشمس والقمر دائبين ۖ وسخر لكم الليل والنهار

এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে দিয়াছেন তোমরা তাঁহার নিকট যাহা কিছু চাহিয়াছ তাহা হইতে। তোমরা অনুগ্রহ গণনা করিলে উহার সংখ্যা নির্ণয় করিতে পারিবে না। মানুষ অবশ্যই অতিমাত্রায় , অকৃতজ্ঞ।
Saheeh International
And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.
Arabic
وآتاكم من كل ما سألتموه ۚ وإن تعدوا نعمت الله لا تحصوها ۗ إن الإنسان لظلوم كفار

স্মরণ কর, ইব্রাহীম বলিয়াছিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! এই নগরীকে নিরাপদ করিও এবং আমাকে ও আমার পুত্রগণকে প্রতিমা পূজা হইতে দূরে রাখিও।
Saheeh International
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.
Arabic
وإذ قال إبراهيم رب اجعل هذا البلد آمنا واجنبني وبني أن نعبد الأصنام

‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! এই সকল প্রতিমা তো বহু মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করিয়াছে। সুতরাং যে আমার অনুসরণ করিবে সে - ই আমার দলভুক্ত, কিন্তু কেহ আমার অবাধ্য হইলে তুমি তো ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful.

رب إنهن أضللن كثيرا من الناس ۖ فمن تبعني فإنه مني ۖ ومن عصاني فإنك غفور رحيم

‘হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমি আমার বংশধরদের কতককে বসবাস করাইলাম অনুর্বর উপত্যকায় তোমার পবিত্র গৃহের নিকট, হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! এইজন্য যে, উহারা যেন কায়েম করে। অতএব তুমি কিছু লোকের অন্তর উহাদের প্রতি অনুরাগী করিয়া দাও এবং ফলাদি দ্বারা উহাদের রিযিকের ব্যবস্থা করিও, যাহাতে উহারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে।
Saheeh International
Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful.

ربنا إني أسكنت من ذريتي بواد غير ذي زرع عند بيتك المحرم ربنا ليقيموا الصلاة فاجعل أفئدة من الناس تهوي إليهم وارزقهم من الثمرات لعلهم يشكرون
সমকালীন বাংলা
‘হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! তুমি তো জান যাহা আমরা গোপন করি ও যাহা আমরা প্রকাশ করি; আকাশ মন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর কিছুই গোপন থাকে না।
Saheeh International
Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven.

ربنا إنك تعلم ما نخفي وما نعلن ۗ وما يخفى على الله من شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء

সমস্ত প্রশংসা যিনি আমাকে আমার বার্ধক্যে ইসমাইল ও ইস্হাককে দান করিয়াছেন। আমার প্রতিপালক অবশ্যই প্রার্থনা শুনিয়া থাকেন।
Saheeh International
Praise to Allah, who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication.

الحمد لله الذي وهب لي على الكبر إسماعيل وإسحاق ۚ إن ربي لسميع الدعاء

‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে কায়েমকারী কর এবং আমার বংশধরদের মধ্য হইতেও। হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমার প্রার্থনা কবূল কর।
Saheeh International
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.

رب اجعلني مقيم الصلاة ومن ذريتي ۚ ربنا وتقبل دعاء

‘হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! যেই দিন হিসাব অনুষ্ঠিত হইবে সেই দিন আমাকে, আমার পিতামাতাকে এবং মু’মিনগণকে ক্ষমা করিও।’
Saheeh International
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established."

ربنا اغفر لي ولوالدي وللمؤمنين يوم يقوم الحساب

তুমি কখনও মনে করিও না যে, জালিমরা যাহা করে সে বিষয়ে গাফিল, তবে তিনি উহাদেরকে সেই দিন পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দেন যেদিন তাহাদের চক্ষু হইবে স্থির।
Saheeh International
And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].
Arabic
ولا تحسبن الله غافلا عما يعمل الظالمون ۚ إنما يؤخرهم ليوم تشخص فيه الأبصار

ভীত - বিহ্বল চিত্তে আকাশের দিকে চাহিয়া উহারা ছুটাছুটি করিবে, নিজেদের প্রতি উহাদের দৃষ্টি ফিরিবে না এবং উহাদের অন্তর হইবে উদাস।
Saheeh International
Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void.

مهطعين مقنعي رءوسهم لا يرتد إليهم طرفهم ۖ وأفئدتهم هواء

যেদিন তাহাদের শাস্তি আসিবে সেই দিন সম্পর্কে তুমি মানুষকে সতর্ক কর, তখন জালিমরা বলিবে, ‘হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমাদেরকে কিছু কালের জন্য অবকাশ দাও, আমরা তোমার আহ্বানে সাড়া দিব এবং রাসূলগণের অনুসরণ করিব।’ তোমরা কি পূর্বে শপথ করিয়া বলিতে না যে, তোমাদের পতন নাই?
Saheeh International
And, [O Muhammad], warn the people of a Day when the punishment will come to them and those who did wrong will say, "Our Lord, delay us for a short term; we will answer Your call and follow the messengers." [But it will be said], "Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no cessation?

وأنذر الناس يوم يأتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا أخرنا إلى أجل قريب نجب دعوتك ونتبع الرسل ۗ أولم تكونوا أقسمتم من قبل ما لكم من زوال

অথচ তোমরা বাস করিতে তাহাদের বাসভূমিতে, যাহারা নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করিয়াছিল এবং তাহাদের প্রতি আমি কি করিয়াছিলাম তাহাও তোমাদের নিকট সুবিদিত ছিল এবং তোমাদের নিকট আমি উহাদের দৃষ্টান্তও উপস্থিত করিয়াছিলাম।
Saheeh International
And you lived among the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them. And We presented for you [many] examples."

وسكنتم في مساكن الذين ظلموا أنفسهم وتبين لكم كيف فعلنا بهم وضربنا لكم الأمثال

উহারা ভীষণ চক্রান্ত করিয়াছিল, কিন্তু উহাদের চক্রান্ত রহিত করিয়াছেন, যদিও উহাদের চক্রান্ত এমন ছিল, যাহাতে পর্বত টলিয়া যাইত।
Saheeh International
And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains.
Arabic
وقد مكروا مكرهم وعند الله مكرهم وإن كان مكرهم لتزول منه الجبال

তুমি কখনও মনে করিও না যে, তাঁহার রাসূলগণের প্রতি প্রদত্ত প্রতিশ্রুতি ভঙ্গ করেন। নিশ্চই পরাক্রমশালী, দন্ডবিধায়ক।
Saheeh International
So never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.

فلا تحسبن الله مخلف وعده رسله ۗ إن الله عزيز ذو انتقام

যেদিন এই পৃথিবী পরিবর্তিত হইয়া অন্য পৃথিবী হইবে এবং আকাশমণ্ডলীও; এবং মানুষ উপস্থিত হইবে আল্লাহর সম্মুখে যিনি এক পরাক্রামশালী।
Saheeh International
[It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens [as well], and all creatures will come out before Allah, the One, the Prevailing.
Arabic
يوم تبدل الأرض غير الأرض والسماوات ۖ وبرزوا لله الواحد القهار

সেই দিন তুমি অপরাধীদেরকে দেখিবে শৃ´খলিত অবস্থায়,
Saheeh International
And you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles,

وترى المجرمين يومئذ مقرنين في الأصفاد
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহাদের জামা হইবে আলকাতরার এবং অগ্নি আচ্ছন্ন করিবে উহাদের মুখমণ্ডল;
Saheeh International
Their garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire.

سرابيلهم من قطران وتغشى وجوههم النار
সমকালীন বাংলা
ইহা এইজন্য যে, প্রত্যেকের কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল দিবেন। নিশ্চয়ই দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণ করেন।
Saheeh International
So that Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.
Arabic
ليجزي الله كل نفس ما كسبت ۚ إن الله سريع الحساب

ইহা মানুষের জন্য এক বার্তা, যাহাতে ইহা দ্বারা উহারা সতর্ক হয় এবং জানিতে পারে যে, তিনি একমাত্র ইলাহ্ এবং যাহাতে বোধশক্তি - সম্পন্নেরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
Saheeh International
This [Qur'an] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding will be reminded.

هذا بلاغ للناس ولينذروا به وليعلموا أنما هو إله واحد وليذكر أولو الألباب
