Saheeh International
[The time of] their account has approached for the people, while they are in heedlessness turning away.
Arabic
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم اقترب للناس حسابهم وهم في غفلة معرضون
সমকালীন বাংলা
পরম দয়ালু, পরম ক্ষমাশীল আল্লাহর নামে; মানুষের হিসাব - নিকাশের সময় আসন্ন, কিন্তু উহারা উদাসীনতায় মুখ ফিরাইয়া রহিয়াছে।
Saheeh International
No mention comes to them anew from their Lord except that they listen to it while they are at play

ما يأتيهم من ذكر من ربهم محدث إلا استمعوه وهم يلعبون
সমকালীন বাংলা
যখনই উহাদের নিকট উহাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন নূতন উপদেশ আসে উহারা উহা শ্রবণ করে কৌতুকচ্ছলে,
Saheeh International
With their hearts distracted. And those who do wrong conceal their private conversation, [saying], "Is this [Prophet] except a human being like you? So would you approach magic while you are aware [of it]?"

لاهية قلوبهم ۗ وأسروا النجوى الذين ظلموا هل هذا إلا بشر مثلكم ۖ أفتأتون السحر وأنتم تبصرون

উহাদের অন্তর থাকে অমনোযোগী। যাহারা তাহারা গোপনে পরামর্শ করে, ‘এ তো তোমাদের মতো একজন মানুষই, তবুও কি তোমরা দেখিয়া - শুনিয়া জাদুর কবলে পড়িবে?’
Saheeh International
The Prophet said, "My Lord knows whatever is said throughout the heaven and earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing."
Arabic
قال ربي يعلم القول في السماء والأرض ۖ وهو السميع العليم
সমকালীন বাংলা
সে বলিল, ‘আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সমস্ত কথাই আমার প্রতিপালক অবগত আছেন এবং তিনিই সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।’
Saheeh International
But they say, "[The revelation is but] a mixture of false dreams; rather, he has invented it; rather, he is a poet. So let him bring us a sign just as the previous [messengers] were sent [with miracles]."

بل قالوا أضغاث أحلام بل افتراه بل هو شاعر فليأتنا بآية كما أرسل الأولون
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা ইহাও বলে, ‘এই সমস্তঅলীক কল্পনা, হয় সে উহা উদ্ভাবন করিয়াছে, না হয় সে একজন কবি। অতএব সে আনয়ন করুক আমাদের নিকট এক নিদর্শন যেরূপ নিদর্শনসহ প্রেরিত হইয়াছিল পূর্ববর্তীগণ।’
Saheeh International
Not a [single] city which We destroyed believed before them, so will they believe?

ما آمنت قبلهم من قرية أهلكناها ۖ أفهم يؤمنون
সমকালীন বাংলা
ইহাদের পূর্বে যেসব জনপদ আমি ধ্বংস করিয়াছি উহার অধিবাসীরা ঈমান আনে নাই; তবে কি ইহারা ঈমান আনিবে?
Saheeh International
And We sent not before you, [O Muhammad], except men to whom We revealed [the message], so ask the people of the message if you do not know.

وما أرسلنا قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم ۖ فاسألوا أهل الذكر إن كنتم لا تعلمون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তোমার পূর্বে আমি ওহীসহ মানুষই পাঠাইয়াছিলাম; তোমরা যদি না জান তবে জ্ঞানীদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা কর।
Saheeh International
And We did not make the prophets forms not eating food, nor were they immortal [on earth].

وما جعلناهم جسدا لا يأكلون الطعام وما كانوا خالدين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং আমি তাহাদেরকে এমন দেহবিশিষ্ট করি নাই যে, তাহারা আহার্য গ্রহণ করিত না; তাহারা চিরস্থায়ীও ছিল না।
Saheeh International
Then We fulfilled for them the promise, and We saved them and whom We willed and destroyed the transgressors.

ثم صدقناهم الوعد فأنجيناهم ومن نشاء وأهلكنا المسرفين
সমকালীন বাংলা
অতঃপর আমি তাহাদের প্রতি আমার প্রতিশ্রুতি পূর্ণ করিলাম, - যথা, আমি উহাদেরকে ও যাহাদেরকে ইচ্ছা রক্ষা করিয়াছিলাম এবং জালিমদেরকে করিয়াছিলাম ধ্বংস।
Saheeh International
We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Then will you not reason?

لقد أنزلنا إليكم كتابا فيه ذكركم ۖ أفلا تعقلون
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি তো তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছি কিতাব যাহাতে আছে তোমাদের জন্য উপদেশ, তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝিবে না?
Saheeh International
And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered and produced after it another people.

وكم قصمنا من قرية كانت ظالمة وأنشأنا بعدها قوما آخرين
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি ধ্বংস করিয়াছি কত জনপদ, যাহার অধিবাসীরা ছিল এবং তাহাদের পরে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি অপর জাতি।
Saheeh International
And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it.
Arabic
فلما أحسوا بأسنا إذا هم منها يركضون
সমকালীন বাংলা
অতঃপর যখন উহারা আমার শাস্তিপ্রত্যক্ষ করিল তখনই উহারা জনপদ হইতে পলায়ন করিতে লাগিল।
Saheeh International
[Some angels said], "Do not flee but return to where you were given luxury and to your homes - perhaps you will be questioned."
Arabic
لا تركضوا وارجعوا إلى ما أترفتم فيه ومساكنكم لعلكم تسألون
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহাদেরকে বলা হইয়াছিল, ‘পলায়ন করিও না এবং ফিরিয়া আস তোমাদের ভোগ - সম্ভারের নিকট ও তোমাদের আবাসগৃহে, হয়ত এ বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা যাইতে পারে।’
Saheeh International
They said, "O woe to us! Indeed, we were wrongdoers."
Arabic
قالوا يا ويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বলিল, ‘হায়, দুর্ভোগ আমাদের ! আমরা তো ছিলাম ।’
Saheeh International
And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire].
Arabic
فما زالت تلك دعواهم حتى جعلناهم حصيدا خامدين
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহাদের এই আর্তনাদ চলিতে থাকে আমি উহাদেরকে কর্তিত শস্য ও নির্বাপিত অগ্নিসদৃশ না করা পর্যন্ত।
Saheeh International
And We did not create the heaven and earth and that between them in play.
Arabic
وما خلقنا السماء والأرض وما بينهما لاعبين
সমকালীন বাংলা
আকাশ ও পৃথিবী এবং যাহা উহাদের অন্তর্বর্তী তাহা আমি ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করি নাই।
Saheeh International
Had We intended to take a diversion, We could have taken it from [what is] with Us - if [indeed] We were to do so.
Arabic
لو أردنا أن نتخذ لهوا لاتخذناه من لدنا إن كنا فاعلين
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি যদি ক্রীড়ার উপকরণ চাহিতাম তবে আমি আমার নিকট যাহা আছে তাহা লইয়াই উহা করিতাম ; আমি তাহা করি নাই।
Saheeh International
Rather, We dash the truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it, and thereupon it departs. And for you is destruction from that which you describe.
Arabic
بل نقذف بالحق على الباطل فيدمغه فإذا هو زاهق ۚ ولكم الويل مما تصفون
সমকালীন বাংলা
কিন্তু আমি সত্য দ্বারা আঘাত হানি মিথ্যার উপর ; ফলে উহা মিথ্যাকে চূর্ণ - বিচূর্ণ করিয়া দেয় এবং তৎক্ষণাৎ মিথ্যা নিশ্চিহ্ন হইয়া যায়। দুর্ভোগ তোমাদের! তোমরা যাহা বলিতেছ তাহার জন্য।
Saheeh International
To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire.
Arabic
وله من في السماوات والأرض ۚ ومن عنده لا يستكبرون عن عبادته ولا يستحسرون
সমকালীন বাংলা
আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে যাহারা আছে তাহারা তাঁহারই : তাঁহার সান্নিধ্যে যাহারা আছে তাহারা অহঙ্কারবশে তাঁহার ‘ইবাদত করা হইতে বিমুখ হয় না এবং ক্লান্তিও বোধ করে না।
Saheeh International
They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.
Arabic
يسبحون الليل والنهار لا يفترون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাহারা দিবারাত্র তাঁহার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে, তাহারা শৈথিল্য করে না।
Saheeh International
Or have men taken for themselves gods from the earth who resurrect [the dead]?
Arabic
أم اتخذوا آلهة من الأرض هم ينشرون
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা মৃত্তিকা হইতে তৈরি যেসব দেবতা গ্রহণ করিয়াছে সেইগুলি কি মৃতকে জীবিত করিতে সক্ষম?
Saheeh International
Had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides Allah, they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.
Arabic
لو كان فيهما آلهة إلا الله لفسدتا ۚ فسبحان الله رب العرش عما يصفون
সমকালীন বাংলা
যদি ব্যতীত বহু ইলাহ্ থাকিত আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে, তবে উভয়েই ধ্বংস হইয়া যেত অতএব উহারা যাহা বলে তাহা হইতে আরশের অদিপতি পবিত্র, মহান।
Saheeh International
He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.
Arabic
لا يسأل عما يفعل وهم يسألون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তিনি যাহা করেন সে বিষয়ে তাঁহাকে প্রশ্ন করা যাইবে না; বরং উহাদেরকেই প্রশ্ন করা হইবে।
Saheeh International
Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say, [O Muhammad], "Produce your proof. This [Qur'an] is the message for those with me and the message of those before me." But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away.
Arabic
أم اتخذوا من دونه آلهة ۖ قل هاتوا برهانكم ۖ هذا ذكر من معي وذكر من قبلي ۗ بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون الحق ۖ فهم معرضون
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা কি তাঁহাকে ব্যতীত বহু ইলাহ্ গ্রহণ করিয়াছে? বল, ‘তোমরা তোমাদের প্রমাণ উপস্থিত কর। ইহাই, আমার সঙ্গে যাহারা আছে তাহাদের জন্য উপদেশ এবং ইহাই উপদেশ ছিল আমার পূর্ববর্তীদের জন্য।’ কিন্তু উহাদের অধিকাংশই প্রকৃত সত্য জানে না, ফলে উহারা মুখ ফিরাইয়া নেয়।
Saheeh International
And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me."
Arabic
وما أرسلنا من قبلك من رسول إلا نوحي إليه أنه لا إله إلا أنا فاعبدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি তোমার পূর্বে এমন কোন রাসূল প্রেরণ করি নাই তাহার প্রতি এই ওহী ব্যতীত যে, ‘আমি ব্যতীত অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ নাই; সুতরাং আমারই ‘ইবাদত কর।’
Saheeh International
And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants.
Arabic
وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا ۗ سبحانه ۚ بل عباد مكرمون
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বলে, ‘দয়াময় সন্তান গ্রহণ করিয়াছেন।’ তিনি পবিত্র, মহান ! তাহারা তো তাঁহার সম্মানিত বান্দা।
Saheeh International
They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command.
Arabic
لا يسبقونه بالقول وهم بأمره يعملون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাহারা আগে বাড়িয়া কথা বলে না; তাহারা তো তাঁহার আদেশ অনুসারেই কাজ করিয়া থাকে।
Saheeh International
He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they cannot intercede except on behalf of one whom He approves. And they, from fear of Him, are apprehensive.
Arabic
يعلم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم ولا يشفعون إلا لمن ارتضى وهم من خشيته مشفقون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাহাদের সম্মুখে ও পশ্চাতে যাহা কিছু আছে তাহা তিনি অবগত। তাহারা সুপারিশ করে শুধু উহাদের জন্য যাহাদের প্রতি তিনি সন্তুষ্ট এবং তাহারা তাঁহার ভয়ে ভীত - সন্ত্রস্ত।
Saheeh International
And whoever of them should say, "Indeed, I am a god besides Him" - that one We would recompense with Hell. Thus do We recompense the wrongdoers.
Arabic
۞ ومن يقل منهم إني إله من دونه فذلك نجزيه جهنم ۚ كذلك نجزي الظالمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাহাদের মধ্যে যে বলিবে, ‘আমিই ইলাহ্ তিনি ব্যতীত,’ তাহাকে আমি প্রতিফল দিব জাহান্নাম ; এইভাবেই আমি জালিমদেরকে শাস্তি দিয়া থাকি।
Saheeh International
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
Arabic
أولم ير الذين كفروا أن السماوات والأرض كانتا رتقا ففتقناهما ۖ وجعلنا من الماء كل شيء حي ۖ أفلا يؤمنون
সমকালীন বাংলা
যাহারা করে তাহারা কি ভাবিয়া দেখে না যে, আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী মিশিয়া ছিল ওতপ্রোতভাবে, অতঃপর আমি উভয়কে পৃথক করিয়া দিলাম ; এবং প্রাণবান সমস্ত কিছু সৃষ্টি করিলাম পানি হইতে; তবু কি উহারা ঈমান আনিবে না?
Saheeh International
And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them, and We made therein [mountain] passes [as] roads that they might be guided.
Arabic
وجعلنا في الأرض رواسي أن تميد بهم وجعلنا فيها فجاجا سبلا لعلهم يهتدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং আমি পৃথিবীতে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি সুদৃঢ় পর্বত, যাহাতে পৃথিবী উহাদেরকে লইয়া এদিক ওদিক ঢলিয়া না যায় এবং আমি উহাতে করিয়া দিয়াছি প্রশস্ত পথ, যাহাতে উহারা গন্তব্যস্থলে পৌঁছিতে পারে।
Saheeh International
And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away.
Arabic
وجعلنا السماء سقفا محفوظا ۖ وهم عن آياتها معرضون
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং আকাশকে করিয়াছি সুরক্ষিত ছাদ; কিন্তু উহারা আকাশস্থিত নিদর্শনাবলী হইতে মুখ ফিরাইয়া লয়।
Saheeh International
And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.
Arabic
وهو الذي خلق الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر ۖ كل في فلك يسبحون
সমকালীন বাংলা
সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন রাত্রি ও দিবস এবং সূর্য ও চন্দ্র ; প্রত্যেকেই নিজ নিজ কক্ষপথে বিচরণ করে।
Saheeh International
And We did not grant to any man before you eternity [on earth]; so if you die - would they be eternal?
Arabic
وما جعلنا لبشر من قبلك الخلد ۖ أفإن مت فهم الخالدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি তোমার পূর্বেও কোন মানুষকে অনন্তজীবন দান করি নাই ; সুতরাং তোমার মৃত্যু হইলে উহারা কি চিরজীবী হইয়া থাকিবে?
Saheeh International
Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.
Arabic
كل نفس ذائقة الموت ۗ ونبلوكم بالشر والخير فتنة ۖ وإلينا ترجعون
সমকালীন বাংলা
জীবমাত্রই মৃত্যুর স্বাদ গ্রহণ করিবে; আমি তোমাদেরকে মন্দ ও ভাল দ্বারা বিশেষভাবে পরীক্ষা করিয়া থাকি এবং আমারই নিকট তোমরা প্রত্যানীত হইবে।
Saheeh International
And when those who disbelieve see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one who insults your gods?" And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers.
Arabic
وإذا رآك الذين كفروا إن يتخذونك إلا هزوا أهذا الذي يذكر آلهتكم وهم بذكر الرحمن هم كافرون
সমকালীন বাংলা
কাফিররা যখন তোমাকে দেখে তখন উহারা তোমাকে কেবল বিদ্রপের পাত্ররূপেই গ্রহণ করে। উহারা বলে, ‘এই কি সেই, যে তোমাদের দেব - দেবীগুলির সমালোচনা করে?’ অথচ উহারাই তো রহমানের উল্লেখের বিরধিতা করে।
Saheeh International
Man was created of haste. I will show you My signs, so do not impatiently urge Me.
Arabic
خلق الإنسان من عجل ۚ سأريكم آياتي فلا تستعجلون
সমকালীন বাংলা
মানুষ সৃষ্টিগতভাবে ত্বরাপ্রবণ, শীঘ্রই আমি তোমাদেরকে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী দেখাইব; সুতরাং তোমরা আমাকে ত্বরা করিতে বলিও না।
Saheeh International
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
Arabic
ويقولون متى هذا الوعد إن كنتم صادقين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং উহারা বলে, ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে বল এই প্রতিশ্রুতি কখন পূর্ণ হইবে?’
Saheeh International
If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not avert the Fire from their faces or from their backs and they will not be aided...
Arabic
لو يعلم الذين كفروا حين لا يكفون عن وجوههم النار ولا عن ظهورهم ولا هم ينصرون
সমকালীন বাংলা
হায়, যদি কাফিররা সেই সময়ের কথা জানিত যখন উহারা উহাদের সম্মুখ ও পশ্চাৎ হইতে অগ্নি প্রতিরোধ করিতে পারিবে না এবং উহাদেরকে সাহায্য করাও হইবে না!
Saheeh International
Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved.
Arabic
بل تأتيهم بغتة فتبهتهم فلا يستطيعون ردها ولا هم ينظرون
সমকালীন বাংলা
বস্তুত উহা উহাদের উপর আসিবে অতর্কিতভাবে এবং উহাদেরকে হতভম্ব করিয়া দিবে। ফলে উহারা উহা রোধ করিতে পারিবে না এবং উহাদেরকে অবকাশও দেওয়া হইবে না।
Saheeh International
And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
Arabic
ولقد استهزئ برسل من قبلك فحاق بالذين سخروا منهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون
Say, "Who can protect you at night or by day from the Most Merciful?" But they are, from the remembrance of their Lord, turning away.
Arabic
قل من يكلؤكم بالليل والنهار من الرحمن ۗ بل هم عن ذكر ربهم معرضون
সমকালীন বাংলা
বল, ‘রহমান হইতে কে তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করিবে রাত্রিতে ও দিবসে?’ তবুও উহারা উহাদের প্রতিপালকের স্মরণ হইতে মুখ ফিরাইয়া নেয়।
Saheeh International
Or do they have gods to defend them other than Us? They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us.
Arabic
أم لهم آلهة تمنعهم من دوننا ۚ لا يستطيعون نصر أنفسهم ولا هم منا يصحبون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তবে কি আমি ব্যতীত উহাদের এমন দেব - দেবীও আছে যাহারা উহাদেরকে রক্ষা করিতে পারে? ইহারা তো নিজেদেরকেই সাহায্য করিতে পারে না এবং আমার বিরুদ্ধে উহাদের সাহায্যকারীও থাকিবে না।
Saheeh International
But, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? So it is they who will overcome?
Arabic
بل متعنا هؤلاء وآباءهم حتى طال عليهم العمر ۗ أفلا يرون أنا نأتي الأرض ننقصها من أطرافها ۚ أفهم الغالبون
সমকালীন বাংলা
বস্তুত আমিই উহাদেরকে এবং উহাদের পিতৃ - পুরুষদেরকে ভোগসম্ভার দিয়াছিলাম ; অধিকন্তু উহাদের আয়ুষ্কালও হইয়াছিল দীর্ঘ। উহারা কি দেখিতেছে না যে, আমি উহাদের দেশকে চতুর্দিক হইতে সংকুচিত করিয়া আনিতেছি। তবুও কি উহারা বিজয়ী হইবে?
Saheeh International
Say, "I only warn you by revelation." But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned.
Arabic
قل إنما أنذركم بالوحي ۚ ولا يسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ما ينذرون
সমকালীন বাংলা
বল, ‘আমি তো কেবল ওহী দ্বারাই তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করি’, কিন্তু যাহারা বধির তাহাদেরকে যখন সতর্ক করা হয় তখন তাহারা সতর্কবাণী শুনে না।
Saheeh International
And if [as much as] a whiff of the punishment of your Lord should touch them, they would surely say, "O woe to us! Indeed, we have been wrongdoers."
Arabic
ولئن مستهم نفحة من عذاب ربك ليقولن يا ويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين
And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.
Arabic
ونضع الموازين القسط ليوم القيامة فلا تظلم نفس شيئا ۖ وإن كان مثقال حبة من خردل أتينا بها ۗ وكفى بنا حاسبين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং কিয়ামত দিবসে আমি স্থাপন করিব ন্যায়বিচারের মানদণ্ড। সুতরাং কাহারও প্রতি কোন অবিচার করা হইবে না এবং কর্ম যদি তিল পরিমাণ ওজনেরও হয় তবু উহা আমি উপস্থিত করিব ; হিসাব গ্রহণকারীরূপে আমিই যথেষ্ট।
Saheeh International
And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous

ولقد آتينا موسى وهارون الفرقان وضياء وذكرا للمتقين
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি তো মূসা ও হারূনকে দিয়াছিলাম ‘’, জ্যোতি ও উপদেশ মুত্তাকীদের জন্য -
Saheeh International
Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.

الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب وهم من الساعة مشفقون

যাহারা না দেখিয়াও তাহাদের প্রতিপালককে ভয় করে এবং তাহারা কিয়ামত সম্পর্কে ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত।
Saheeh International
And this [Qur'an] is a blessed message which We have sent down. Then are you with it unacquainted?
Arabic
وهذا ذكر مبارك أنزلناه ۚ أفأنتم له منكرون

ইহা কল্যাণময় উপদেশ ; আমি ইহা অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছি। তবুও কি তোমরা ইহাকে অস্বীকার কর?
Saheeh International
And We had certainly given Abraham his sound judgement before, and We were of him well - Knowing

۞ ولقد آتينا إبراهيم رشده من قبل وكنا به عالمين

আমি তো ইহার পূর্বে ইব্রাহীমকে সৎপথের জ্ঞান দিয়াছিলাম এবং আমি তাহার সম্বন্ধে ছিলাম সম্যক পরিজ্ঞাত।
Saheeh International
When he said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoted?"

إذ قال لأبيه وقومه ما هذه التماثيل التي أنتم لها عاكفون

যখন সে তাহার পিতা ও তাহার সম্প্রদায়কে বলিল, ‘এই মূর্তিগুলি কী, যাহাদের পূজায় তোমরা রত রহিয়াছ !’
Saheeh International
They said, "We found our fathers worshippers of them."

قالوا وجدنا آباءنا لها عابدين
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বলিল, ‘আমরা আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষগণকে ইহাদের পূজা করিতে দেখিয়াছি।’
Saheeh International
He said, "You were certainly, you and your fathers, in manifest error."

قال لقد كنتم أنتم وآباؤكم في ضلال مبين
সমকালীন বাংলা
সে বলিল, ‘তোমরা নিজেরা এবং তোমাদের পিতৃপুরুষগণও রহিয়াছে স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে।’
Saheeh International
They said, "Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?"
Arabic
قالوا أجئتنا بالحق أم أنت من اللاعبين
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বলিল, ‘তুমি কি আমাদের নিকট সত্য আনিয়াছ, না তুমি কৌতুক করিতেছ?’
Saheeh International
He said, "[No], rather, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth who created them, and I, to that, am of those who testify.

قال بل ربكم رب السماوات والأرض الذي فطرهن وأنا على ذلكم من الشاهدين
সমকালীন বাংলা
সে বলিল, ‘না, তোমাদের প্রতিপালক তো আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর প্রতিপালক, যিনি উহাদের সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন এবং এই বিষয়ে আমি অন্যতম সাক্ষী।’
Saheeh International
And [I swear] by Allah, I will surely plan against your idols after you have turned and gone away."

وتالله لأكيدن أصنامكم بعد أن تولوا مدبرين
সমকালীন বাংলা
‘শপথ আল্লাহর তোমরা চলিয়া গেলে আমি তোমাদের মূর্তিগুলি সম্বন্ধে অবশ্যই কৌশল অবলম্বন করিব।’
Saheeh International
So he made them into fragments, except a large one among them, that they might return to it [and question].

فجعلهم جذاذا إلا كبيرا لهم لعلهم إليه يرجعون

অতঃপর সে চূর্ণ - বিচূর্ণ করিয়া দিল মূর্তিগুলিকে, উহাদের প্রধানটি ব্যতীত ; যাহাতে উহারা তাহার দিকে ফিরিয়া আসে।
Saheeh International
They said, "Who has done this to our gods? Indeed, he is of the wrongdoers."

قالوا من فعل هذا بآلهتنا إنه لمن الظالمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বলিল, ‘আমাদের উপাস্যগুলির প্রতি এইরূপ করিল কে? সে নিশ্চয়ই সীমালংঘনকারী।’
Saheeh International
They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham."
They said, "Have you done this to our gods, O Abraham?"
Arabic
قالوا أأنت فعلت هذا بآلهتنا يا إبراهيم
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বলিল ‘হে ইব্রাহীম ! তুমিই কি আমাদের উপাস্যগুলির প্রতি এইরূপ করিয়াছ?’
Saheeh International
He said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak."

قال بل فعله كبيرهم هذا فاسألوهم إن كانوا ينطقون
সমকালীন বাংলা
সে বলিল, ‘বরং ইহাদের এই প্রধান, সে - ই তো ইহা করিয়াছে, ইহাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা কর যদি ইহারা কথা বলিতে পারে।’
Saheeh International
So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers."

فرجعوا إلى أنفسهم فقالوا إنكم أنتم الظالمون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তখন উহারা মনে মনে চিন্তা করিয়া দেখিল এবং একে অপরকে বলিতে লাগিল, ‘তোমরাই তো সীমালংঘনকারী!’
Saheeh International
Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!"

ثم نكسوا على رءوسهم لقد علمت ما هؤلاء ينطقون
সমকালীন বাংলা
অতঃপর উহাদের মস্তক অবনত হইয়া গেল এবং উহারা বলিল, ‘তুমি তো জানই যে, ইহারা কথা বলে না।’
Saheeh International
He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you?

قال أفتعبدون من دون الله ما لا ينفعكم شيئا ولا يضركم
সমকালীন বাংলা
ইব্রাহীম বলিল, ‘তবে কি তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এমন কিছুর ‘ইবাদত কর যাহা তোমাদের কোন উপকার করিতে পারে না, ক্ষতিও করিতে পারে না?’
Saheeh International
Uff to you and to what you worship instead of Allah. Then will you not use reason?"

أف لكم ولما تعبدون من دون الله ۖ أفلا تعقلون

‘ধিক্ তোমাদেরকে এবং আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা যাহাদের ‘ইবাদত কর তাহাদেরকে! তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝিবে না?’
Saheeh International
They said, "Burn him and support your gods - if you are to act."

قالوا حرقوه وانصروا آلهتكم إن كنتم فاعلين
সমকালীন বাংলা
উহারা বলিল, ‘তাহাকে পোড়াইয়া দাও, সাহায্য কর তোমাদের দেবতাগুলিকে, তোমরা যদি কিছু করিতে চাও।’
Saheeh International
Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."

قلنا يا نار كوني بردا وسلاما على إبراهيم
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি বলিলাম, ‘হে অগ্নি ! তুমি ইব্রাহীমের জন্য শীতল ও নিরাপদ হইয়া যাও।’
Saheeh International
And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers.

وأرادوا به كيدا فجعلناهم الأخسرين

উহারা তাহার ক্ষতি সাধনের ইচ্ছা করিয়াছিল। কিন্তু আমি উহাদেরকে করিয়া দিলাম সর্বাধিক ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
Saheeh International
And We delivered him and Lot to the land which We had blessed for the worlds.

ونجيناه ولوطا إلى الأرض التي باركنا فيها للعالمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং আমি তাহাকে ও লূতকে উদ্ধার করিয়া লইয়া গেলাম সেই দেশে, যেখানে আমি কল্যাণ রাখিয়াছি বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য।
Saheeh International
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous.

ووهبنا له إسحاق ويعقوب نافلة ۖ وكلا جعلنا صالحين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং আমি ইব্রাহীমকে দান করিয়াছিলাম ইস্হাক এবং পৌত্ররূপে ইয়া‘কূব ; আর প্রত্যেককেই করিয়াছিলাম সৎকর্মপরায়ণ ;
Saheeh International
And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of zakah; and they were worshippers of Us.

وجعلناهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا وأوحينا إليهم فعل الخيرات وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة ۖ وكانوا لنا عابدين

এবং তাহাদেরকে করিয়াছিলাম নেতা ; তাহারা আমার নির্দেশ অনুসারে মানুষকে পথ প্রদর্শন করিত ; তাহাদেরকে ওহী প্রেরণ করিয়াছিলাম সৎকর্ম করিতে, কায়েম করিতে এবং যাকাত প্রদান করিতে ; তাহারা আমারই ‘ইবাদত করিত।
Saheeh International
And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient.

ولوطا آتيناه حكما وعلما ونجيناه من القرية التي كانت تعمل الخبائث ۗ إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فاسقين

এবং লূতকে দিয়াছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞান এবং তাহাকে উদ্ধার করিয়াছিলাম এমন এক জনপদ হইতে যাহার অধিবাসিরা লিপ্ত ছিল অশ্লীল কর্মে উহারা ছিল এক মন্দ সম্প্রধায়, সত্যত্যাগি।
Saheeh International
And We admitted him into Our mercy. Indeed, he was of the righteous.
Arabic
وأدخلناه في رحمتنا ۖ إنه من الصالحين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং তাহাকে আমি আমার অনুগ্রহভাজন করিয়াছিলাম ; সে ছিল সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
Saheeh International
And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great flood.

ونوحا إذ نادى من قبل فاستجبنا له فنجيناه وأهله من الكرب العظيم

স্মরণ কর নূহকে, পূর্বে সে যখন আহ্বান করিয়াছিল তখন আমি সাড়া দিয়াছিলাম তাহার আহ্বানে এবং তাহাকে ও তাহার পরিজনবর্গকে মহাসংকট হইতে উদ্ধার করিয়াছিলাম,
Saheeh International
And We saved him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together.
Arabic
ونصرناه من القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا ۚ إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فأغرقناهم أجمعين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং আমি তাহাকে সাহায্য করিয়াছিলাম সেই সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে যাহারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলী অস্বীকার করিয়াছিল ; নিশ্চয়ই উহারা ছিল এক মন্দ সম্প্রদায়। এইজন্য উহাদের সকলকেই আমি নিমজ্জিত করিয়াছিলাম।
Saheeh International
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field - when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgement.

وداوود وسليمان إذ يحكمان في الحرث إذ نفشت فيه غنم القوم وكنا لحكمهم شاهدين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং স্মরণ কর দাঊদ ও সুলায়মানের কথা, যখন তাহারা বিচার করিতেছিল শস্যক্ষেত্র সম্পর্কে; উহাতে রাত্রিকালে প্রবেশ করিয়াছিল কোন সম্প্রদায়ের মেষ ; আমি প্রত্যক্ষ করিতেছিলাম তাহাদের বিচার।
Saheeh International
And We gave understanding of the case to Solomon, and to each [of them] We gave judgement and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains to exalt [Us], along with David and [also] the birds. And We were doing [that].
Arabic
ففهمناها سليمان ۚ وكلا آتينا حكما وعلما ۚ وسخرنا مع داوود الجبال يسبحن والطير ۚ وكنا فاعلين

এবং আমি সুলায়মানকে এ বিষয়ের মীমাংসা বুঝাইয়া দিয়াছিলাম এবং তাহাদের প্রত্যেককে আমি দিয়াছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞান। আমি পর্বত ও বিহঙ্গকুলকে অধীন করিয়া দিয়াছিলাম - উহারা দাঊদের সঙ্গে আমার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করিত ; আমিই ছিলাম এই সমস্তের কর্তা।
Saheeh International
And We taught him the fashioning of coats of armor to protect you from your [enemy in] battle. So will you then be grateful?
আর আমি তাহাকে তোমাদের জন্য বর্ম নির্মাণ শিক্ষা দিয়াছিলাম, যাহাতে উহা তোমাদের যুদ্ধে তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করে ; সুতরাং তোমরা কি কৃতজ্ঞ হইবে না?
Saheeh International
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind, blowing forcefully, proceeding by his command toward the land which We had blessed. And We are ever, of all things, Knowing.

ولسليمان الريح عاصفة تجري بأمره إلى الأرض التي باركنا فيها ۚ وكنا بكل شيء عالمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং সুলায়মানের বশীভূত করিয়া দিয়াছিলাম উদ্দাম বায়ুকে ; উহা তাহার আদেশক্রমে প্রবাহিত হইত সেই দেশের দিকে যেখানে আমি কল্যাণ রাখিয়াছি ; প্রত্যেক বিষয় সম্পর্কে আমিই সম্যক অবগত।
Saheeh International
And of the devils were those who dived for him and did work other than that. And We were of them a guardian.

ومن الشياطين من يغوصون له ويعملون عملا دون ذلك ۖ وكنا لهم حافظين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং শয়তানদের মধ্যে কতক তাহার জন্য ডুবুরীর কাজ করিত, ইহা ব্যতীত অন্য কাজও করিত ; আমি উহাদের রক্ষাকারী ছিলাম।
Saheeh International
And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
এবং স্মরণ কর আইউবের কথা, যখন সে তাহার প্রতিপালককে আহ্বান করিয়া বলিয়াছিল, ‘আমি দুঃখ - কষ্টে পড়িয়াছি, আর তুমি তো সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ দয়ালু!’
Saheeh International
So We responded to him and removed what afflicted him of adversity. And We gave him [back] his family and the like thereof with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers [of Allah].

فاستجبنا له فكشفنا ما به من ضر ۖ وآتيناه أهله ومثلهم معهم رحمة من عندنا وذكرى للعابدين

তখন আমি তাহার ডাকে সাড়া দিলাম, তাহার দুঃখ - কষ্ট দূরীভূত করিয়া দিলাম, তাহাকে তাহার পরিবার - পরিজন ফিরাইয়া দিলাম এবং তাহাদের সঙ্গে তাহাদের মত আরো দিলাম আমার বিশেষ রহমতরূপে এবং ‘ইবাদতকারীদের জন্য উপদেশস্বরূপ।
Saheeh International
And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul - Kifl; all were of the patient.

وإسماعيل وإدريس وذا الكفل ۖ كل من الصابرين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং স্মরণ কর ইসমাঈল, ইদ্রীস ও যুল - কিফ্ল - এর কথা, তাহাদের প্রত্যেকেই ছিল ধৈর্যশীল
Saheeh International
And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous.
Arabic
وأدخلناهم في رحمتنا ۖ إنهم من الصالحين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং তাহাদেরকে আমি আমার অনুগ্রহভাজন করিয়াছিলাম; তাহারা তো ছিল সৎকর্মপরায়ণ।
Saheeh International
And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."

وذا النون إذ ذهب مغاضبا فظن أن لن نقدر عليه فنادى في الظلمات أن لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين

এবং স্মরণ কর যুন্ - নূন - এর কথা, যখন সে ক্রোধভরে বাহির হইয়া গিয়াছিল এবং মনে করিয়াছিল আমি তাহার জন্য শাস্তি নির্ধারণ করিব না। অতঃপর সে অন্ধকার হইতে আহ্বান করিয়াছিল : ‘তুমি ব্যতীত কোন ইলাহ্ নাই ; তুমি পবিত্র, মহান ! আমি তো সীমালংঘনকারী।’
Saheeh International
So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.

فاستجبنا له ونجيناه من الغم ۚ وكذلك ننجي المؤمنين
সমকালীন বাংলা
তখন আমি তাহার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়াছিলাম এবং তাহাকে উদ্ধার করিয়াছিলাম দুশ্চিন্তা হইতে এবং এইভাবেই আমি মু’মিনদেরকে উদ্ধার করিয়া থাকি।
Saheeh International
And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors."

وزكريا إذ نادى ربه رب لا تذرني فردا وأنت خير الوارثين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং স্মরণ কর যাকারিয়ার কথা, যখন সে তাহার প্রতিপালককে আহ্বান করিয়া বলিয়াছিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক ! আমাকে একা রাখিও না, তুমি তো শ্রেষ্ঠ মালিকানার অধিকারী।’
Saheeh International
So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.

فاستجبنا له ووهبنا له يحيى وأصلحنا له زوجه ۚ إنهم كانوا يسارعون في الخيرات ويدعوننا رغبا ورهبا ۖ وكانوا لنا خاشعين

অতঃপর আমি তাহার আহ্বানে সাড়া দিয়াছিলাম এবং তাহাকে দান করিয়াছিলাম ইয়াহ্ইয়া এবং তাহার জন্য তাহার স্ত্রীকে যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন করিয়াছিলাম। তাহারা সৎকর্মে প্রতিযোগিতা করিত, তাহারা আমাকে ডাকিত আশা ও ভীতির সঙ্গে এবং তাহারা ছিল আমার নিকট বিনীত।
Saheeh International
And [mention] the one who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her [garment] through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.
Arabic
والتي أحصنت فرجها فنفخنا فيها من روحنا وجعلناها وابنها آية للعالمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং স্মরণ কর সেই নারীকে, যে নিজ সতীত্বকে রক্ষা করিয়াছিল, অতঃপর তাহার মধ্যে আমি আমার রূহ্ ফুঁকিয়া দিয়াছিলাম এবং তাহাকে ও তাহার পুত্রকে করিয়াছিলাম বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য এক নিদর্শন।
Saheeh International
Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.
Arabic
إن هذه أمتكم أمة واحدة وأنا ربكم فاعبدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
এই যে তোমাদের জাতি - ইহা তো একই জাতি এবং আমিই তোমাদের প্রতিপালক, অতএব আমার ‘ইবাদত কর।
Saheeh International
And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all to Us will return.
Arabic
وتقطعوا أمرهم بينهم ۖ كل إلينا راجعون
সমকালীন বাংলা
কিন্তু তাহারা নিজেদের কার্যকলাপে পরস্পরের মধ্যে ভেদ সৃষ্টি করিয়াছে। প্রত্যেকেই প্রত্যানীত হইবে আমার নিকট।
Saheeh International
So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders.
Arabic
فمن يعمل من الصالحات وهو مؤمن فلا كفران لسعيه وإنا له كاتبون
সমকালীন বাংলা
সুতরাং যদি কেহ হইয়া সৎকর্ম করে তাহার কর্মপ্রচেষ্টা অগ্রাহ্য হইবে না এবং আমি তো উহা লিখিয়া রাখি।
Saheeh International
And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return
Arabic
وحرام على قرية أهلكناها أنهم لا يرجعون
সমকালীন বাংলা
যে জনপদকে আমি ধ্বংস করিয়াছি তাহার সম্পর্কে নিষিদ্ধ হইয়াছে যে, তাহার অধিবাসীবৃন্দ ফিরিয়া আসিবে না,
Saheeh International
Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend
Arabic
حتى إذا فتحت يأجوج ومأجوج وهم من كل حدب ينسلون
সমকালীন বাংলা
এমনকি যখন ইয়া‘জূজ ও মা‘জূজকে মুক্তি দেওয়া হইবে এবং উহারা প্রতি উচ্চভূমি হইতে ছুটিয়া আসিবে।
Saheeh International
And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers."
Arabic
واقترب الوعد الحق فإذا هي شاخصة أبصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هذا بل كنا ظالمين

অমোঘ প্রতিশ্রুতি কাল আসন্ন হইলে অকস্মাৎ কাফিরদের চক্ষু স্থির হইয়া যাইবে, উহারা বলিবে, ‘হায়, দুর্ভোগ আমাদের! আমরা তো ছিলাম এ বিষয়ে উদাসীন; না, আমরা সীমালংঘনকারীই ছিলাম।’
Saheeh International
Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it.
Arabic
إنكم وما تعبدون من دون الله حصب جهنم أنتم لها واردون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তোমরা এবং আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা যাহাদের ‘ইবাদত কর সেগুলি তো জাহান্নামের ইন্ধন ; তোমরা সকলে উহাতে প্রবেশ করিবে।
Saheeh International
Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein.
Arabic
لو كان هؤلاء آلهة ما وردوها ۖ وكل فيها خالدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
যদি উহারা ইলাহ্ হইত তবে উহারা জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করিত না ; উহাদের সকলেই উহাতে স্থায়ী হইবে,
Saheeh International
For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear.

لهم فيها زفير وهم فيها لا يسمعون

সেখানে থাকিবে উহাদের আর্তনাদ এবং সেখানে উহারা কিছুই শুনিতে পাইবে না ;
Saheeh International
Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed.
Arabic
إن الذين سبقت لهم منا الحسنى أولئك عنها مبعدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
যাহাদের জন্য আমার নিকট হইতে পূর্ব হইতে কল্যাণ নির্ধারিত রহিয়াছে, তাহাদেরকে উহা হইতে দূরে রাখা হইবে।
Saheeh International
They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.
Arabic
لا يسمعون حسيسها ۖ وهم في ما اشتهت أنفسهم خالدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাহারা উহার ক্ষীণতম শব্দও শুনিবে না এবং সেখানে তাহারা তাহাদের মন যাহা চায় চিরকাল উহা ভোগ করিবে।
Saheeh International
They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" -
Arabic
لا يحزنهم الفزع الأكبر وتتلقاهم الملائكة هذا يومكم الذي كنتم توعدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
মহাভীতি তাহাদেরকে বিষাদক্লিষ্ট করিবে না এবং ফিরিশ্তাগণ তাহাদেরকে অভ্যর্থনা করিবে এই বলিয়া, ‘এই তোমাদের সেই দিন যাহার প্রতিশ্রুতি তোমাদেরকে দেওয়া হইয়াছিল।’
Saheeh International
The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.

يوم نطوي السماء كطي السجل للكتب ۚ كما بدأنا أول خلق نعيده ۚ وعدا علينا ۚ إنا كنا فاعلين
সমকালীন বাংলা
সেই দিন আকাশমণ্ডলীকে গুটাইয়া ফেলিব, যেভাবে গুটান হয় লিখিত দফতর; যেভাবে আমি প্রথম সৃষ্টির সূচনা করিয়াছিলাম সেইভাবে পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করিব; প্রতিশ্রুতি পালন আমার কর্তব্য, আমি ইহা পালন করিবই।
Saheeh International
And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.
Arabic
ولقد كتبنا في الزبور من بعد الذكر أن الأرض يرثها عبادي الصالحون
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি ‘উপদেশের’ পর কিতাবে লিখিয়া দিয়াছি যে, আমার যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন বান্দাগণ পৃথিবীর অধিকারী হইবে।
Saheeh International
Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people.
Arabic
إن في هذا لبلاغا لقوم عابدين
সমকালীন বাংলা
নিশ্চয়ই ইহাতে রহিয়াছে বাণী সেই সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য যাহারা ‘ইবাদত করে।
Saheeh International
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.
Arabic
وما أرسلناك إلا رحمة للعالمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি তো তোমাকে বিশ্বজগতের প্রতি কেবল রহমতরূপেই প্রেরণ করিয়াছি।
Saheeh International
Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?"
Arabic
قل إنما يوحى إلي أنما إلهكم إله واحد ۖ فهل أنتم مسلمون
সমকালীন বাংলা
বল, ‘আমার প্রতি ওহী হয় যে, তোমাদের ইলাহ্ একই ইলাহ্, সুতরাং তোমরা হইয়া যাও আত্মসর্মপণকারী।’
Saheeh International
But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.
Arabic
فإن تولوا فقل آذنتكم على سواء ۖ وإن أدري أقريب أم بعيد ما توعدون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তবে উহারা মুখ ফিরাইয়া লইলে তুমি বলিও, ‘আমি তোমাদেরকে যথাযথভাবে জানাইয়া দিয়াছি এবং তোমাদেরকে যে বিষয়ের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেওয়া হইয়াছে, আমি জানি না, তাহা আসন্ন, না দূরস্থিত।
Saheeh International
Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal.
Arabic
إنه يعلم الجهر من القول ويعلم ما تكتمون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তিনি জানেন যাহা কথায় ব্যক্ত এবং যাহা তোমরা গোপন কর।
Saheeh International
And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time."

وإن أدري لعله فتنة لكم ومتاع إلى حين
সমকালীন বাংলা
‘আমি জানি না হয়ত ইহা তোমাদের জন্য এক পরীক্ষা এবং জীবনোপভোগ কিছু কালের জন্য।’
Saheeh International
[The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe."
Arabic
قال رب احكم بالحق ۗ وربنا الرحمن المستعان على ما تصفون
সমকালীন বাংলা
রাসূল বলিয়াছিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! তুমি ন্যায়ের সঙ্গে ফয়সালা করিয়া দিও, আমাদের প্রতিপালক তো দয়াময়, তোমরা যাহা বলিতেছ সে বিষয়ে একমাত্র সহায়স্থল তিনিই।’
