Saheeh International
A supplicant asked for a punishment bound to happen
Arabic, with marks
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ سَأَلَ سَائِلٌ بِعَذَابٍ وَاقِعٍ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
এক প্রশ্নকারী জিজ্ঞাসা করল এমন আযাব সম্পর্কে, যা আপতিত হবে-* *আয়াতটির আরেক অর্থ হল, ‘একজন প্রার্থনাকারী এমন আযাবের দো‘আ করল যা আপতিত হবে’।
Saheeh International
To the disbelievers; of it there is no preventer.
Arabic, with marks
لِّلْكَافِرِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَافِعٌ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
কাফিরদের উপর, যার কোন প্রতিরোধকারী নেই।
Saheeh International
[It is] from Allah, owner of the ways of ascent.
Arabic, with marks
مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذِي الْمَعَارِجِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
ঊর্ধ্বারোহণের সোপানসমূহের অধিকারী আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে,
Saheeh International
The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.

تَعْرُجُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
ফেরেশতাগণ ও রূহ এমন এক দিনে আল্লাহর পানে ঊর্ধ্বগামী হয়, যার পরিমাণ পঞ্চাশ হাজার বছর।
Saheeh International
So be patient with gracious patience.
Arabic, with marks
فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمِيلًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব তুমি উত্তমরূপে ধৈর্যধারণ কর।
Saheeh International
Indeed, they see it [as] distant,
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা তো এটিকে সুদূরপরাহত মনে করে।
Saheeh International
But We see it [as] near.
Arabic, with marks
وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيبًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর আমি দেখছি তা আসন্ন।
Saheeh International
On the Day the sky will be like murky oil,

يَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَاءُ كَالْمُهْلِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সেদিন আসমান হয়ে যাবে গলিত ধাতুর ন্যায়।
Saheeh International
And the mountains will be like wool,
Arabic, with marks
وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং পর্বতসমূহ হয়ে যাবে রঙিন পশমের ন্যায়।
Saheeh International
And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend,
Arabic, with marks
وَلَا يَسْأَلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধু অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধুকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে না।
Saheeh International
They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তাদেরকে একে অপরের দৃষ্টিগোচর করা হবে। অপরাধী চাইবে যদি সে সেদিনের শাস্তি থেকে তার সন্তান-সন্ততিকে পণ হিসেবে দিয়ে মুক্তি পেতে,
Saheeh International
And his wife and his brother
Arabic, with marks
وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তার স্ত্রী ও ভাইকে,
Saheeh International
And his nearest kindred who shelter him
Arabic, with marks
وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِي تُؤْوِيهِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তার জ্ঞাতি-গোষ্ঠীকে, যারা তাকে আশ্রয় দিত।
Saheeh International
And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him.
Arabic, with marks
وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যমীনে যারা আছে তাদের সবাইকে, যাতে এটি তাকে রক্ষা করে।
Saheeh International
No! Indeed, it is the Flame [of Hell],
Arabic, with marks
كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
কখনো নয়! এটিতো লেলিহান আগুন।
Saheeh International
A remover of exteriors.
Arabic, with marks
نَزَّاعَةً لِّلشَّوَىٰ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যা মাথার চামড়া খসিয়ে নেবে।
Saheeh International
It invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [from obedience]
Arabic, with marks
تَدْعُو مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
জাহান্নাম তাকে ডাকবে যে পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করেছিল এবং মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছিল ।
Saheeh International
And collected [wealth] and hoarded.
Arabic, with marks
وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَىٰ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর সম্পদ জমা করেছিল, অতঃপর তা সংরক্ষণ করে রেখেছিল।
Saheeh International
Indeed, mankind was created anxious:
Arabic, with marks
۞ إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে অস্থির করে।
Saheeh International
When evil touches him, impatient,
Arabic, with marks
إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যখন তাকে বিপদ স্পর্শ করে তখন সে হয়ে পড়ে অতিমাত্রায় উৎকন্ঠিত।
Saheeh International
And when good touches him, withholding [of it],
Arabic, with marks
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যখন কল্যাণ তাকে স্পর্শ করে তখন সে হয়ে পড়ে অতিশয় কৃপণ।
Saheeh International
Except the observers of prayer -
Arabic, with marks
إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আদায়কারীগণ ছাড়া,
Saheeh International
Those who are constant in their prayer
Arabic, with marks
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যারা তাদের সালাতের ক্ষেত্রে নিয়মিত।
Saheeh International
And those within whose wealth is a known right
Arabic, with marks
وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যাদের ধন-সম্পদে রয়েছে নির্ধারিত হক,
Saheeh International
For the petitioner and the deprived -
Arabic, with marks
لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যাচঞাকারী ও বঞ্চিতের,
Saheeh International
And those who believe in the Day of Recompense
Arabic, with marks
وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা প্রতিফল-দিবসকে সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস করে।
Saheeh International
And those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord -
Arabic, with marks
وَالَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা তাদের রবের আযাব সম্পর্কে ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত।
Saheeh International
Indeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe -
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় তাদের রবের আযাব থেকে কেউ নিরাপদ নয়।
Saheeh International
And those who guard their private parts
Arabic, with marks
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা তাদের যৌনাংগসমূহের হিফাযতকারী।
Saheeh International
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed -
Arabic, with marks
إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তবে তাদের স্ত্রী ও তাদের ডান হাত যাদের মালিক হয়েছে সে দাসীগণের ক্ষেত্র ছাড়া। তাহলে তারা সে ক্ষেত্রে নিন্দনীয় হবে না।
Saheeh International
But whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors -
Arabic, with marks
فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তবে যে কেউ এদের বাইরে অন্যকে কামনা করে, তারাই তো সীমালংঘনকারী।
Saheeh International
And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive
Arabic, with marks
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা নিজদের আমানত ও ওয়াদা রক্ষাকারী,
Saheeh International
And those who are in their testimonies upright
Arabic, with marks
وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা তাদের সাক্ষ্যদানে অটল,
Saheeh International
And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer:
Arabic, with marks
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা নিজদের সালাতের হিফাযত করে,
Saheeh International
They will be in gardens, honored.
Arabic, with marks
أُولَٰئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُّكْرَمُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারাই জান্নাতসমূহে সম্মানিত হবে।
Saheeh International
So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad],
Arabic, with marks
فَمَالِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
কাফিরদের কী হল যে, তারা তোমার দিকে ছুটছে,
Saheeh International
[To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups?
Arabic, with marks
عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
ডানে ও বামে দলে দলে?
Saheeh International
Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure?
Arabic, with marks
أَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٍ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তাদের প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি কি আশা করে যে, তাকে প্রাচুর্যময় জান্নাতে দাখিল করা হবে?
Saheeh International
No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know.
Arabic, with marks
كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
কখনো নয়, নিশ্চয় আমি তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি তারা যা জানে তা থেকে।
Saheeh International
So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able
Arabic, with marks
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ الْمَشَارِقِ وَالْمَغَارِبِ إِنَّا لَقَادِرُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব, আমি উদয়স্থল ও অস্তাচলসমূহের রবের কসম করছি যে, আমি অবশ্যই সক্ষম!
Saheeh International
To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone.
Arabic, with marks
عَلَىٰ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তাদের চাইতে উত্তমদেরকে তাদের স্থলে নিয়ে আসতে এবং আমি অক্ষম নই।
Saheeh International
So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised -
Arabic, with marks
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দাও, তারা (বেহুদা কথায়) মত্ত থাকুক আর খেল-তামাশা করুক যতক্ষণ না তারা দেখা পায় সেদিনের, যার প্রতিশ্রুতি তাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছে।
Saheeh International
The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening.
Arabic, with marks
يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٍ يُوفِضُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যেদিন দ্রুতবেগে তারা কবর থেকে বের হয়ে আসবে, যেন তারা কোন লক্ষ্যের দিকে ছুটছে,
Saheeh International
Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised.
Arabic, with marks
خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অবনত চোখে। লাঞ্ছনা তাদেরকে আচ্ছন্ন করবে! এটিই সেদিন যার ওয়াদা তাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল।
