Saheeh International
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
Yusuf Ali
Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস হোক আবু লাহাবের দুই হাত, ধ্বংস হোক সে।

تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
Saheeh International
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
Arabic, with marks
مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Yusuf Ali
No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তার ধন - সম্পদ এবং তার উপার্জন তার কোনো কাজেই আসলোনা।

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Saheeh International
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
Arabic, with marks
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
Yusuf Ali
Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অচিরেই তাকে পোড়ানো হবে আগুনের লেলিহান শিখায়।

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
Saheeh International
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.
Arabic, with marks
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ
Yusuf Ali
His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel! -
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এবং তার স্ত্রীকেও (পোড়ানো হবে), যে (নবীকে কষ্ট দেয়ার জন্যে) ঘাড়ে করে কাঠ কেটে এনে (নবীর পথে ফেলে রাখে)।

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
Saheeh International
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ
Yusuf Ali
A twisted rope of palm - leaf fibre round her (own) neck!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(সেদিন) তার গলায় থাকবে খেজুরের আঁশের পাকানো রশি।
