By those [winds] sent forth in gusts
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
শপথ একের পর এক প্রেরিত বাতাসের,

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another

وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًا
Saheeh International
And the winds that blow violently
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
শপথ প্রলয়ংকরী ঝড়ের,

فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا
Pickthall
By the raging hurricanes,

فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًا
Saheeh International
And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
শপথ (মেঘমালা) সঞ্চালনকারী বায়ুর,

وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا
Pickthall
By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive;

وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا
Saheeh International
And those [angels] who bring criterion
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর মেঘপুঞ্জ বিচ্ছিন্নকারী বাতাসের,

فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا
Pickthall
By those who winnow with a winnowing,

فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًا
Saheeh International
And those [angels] who deliver a message
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এবং শপথ তাদের যারা মানুষের হৃদয়ে পৌঁছে দেয় উপদেশ,

فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
Pickthall
By those who bring down the Reminder,

فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا
Saheeh International
As justification or warning,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ওজর রহিত করা এবং সতর্ক করার জন্যে।

عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
Pickthall
To excuse or to warn,

عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
Saheeh International
Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের যে বিষয়ের ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে, তা অবশ্যি ঘটবে।

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ
Pickthall
Surely that which ye are promised will befall.

So when the stars are obliterated
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন তারকারাজির আলো নিভে যাবে,

فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

So when the stars are put out,

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

And when the heaven is opened
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন বিদীর্ণ হয়ে যাবে আকাশ,

وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ

And when the sky is riven asunder,

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ

And when the mountains are blown away
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এবং যখন পর্বতমালাকে উঠিয়ে বিক্ষিপ্ত করে দেয়া হবে,

وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ

And when the mountains are blown away,

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ

And when the messengers' time has come...
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর নির্ধারিত সময়ে হাজির করা হবে রসূলদের,

وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ

And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed -

وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ

For what Day was it postponed?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সব কিছু বিলম্বিত করা হয়েছে কোন্ দিনটির জন্যে?

لِأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ

For what day is the time appointed ?

لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
Saheeh International
For the Day of Judgement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ফায়সালার দিনের জন্যে।

لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ

For the Day of Decision.

لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
Saheeh International
And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কী করে জানবে - ফায়সালার দিন কী?

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ
Pickthall
And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! -

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে হবে চরম দুর্ভোগ।

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Saheeh International
Did We not destroy the former peoples?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা কি পূর্ববর্তীদের হালাক করিনি?

أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Pickthall
Destroyed We not the former folk,

أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Saheeh International
Then We will follow them with the later ones.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
শেষের লোকদেরও আমরা ওদের অনুসারেই করবো।

ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الْآخِرِينَ
Pickthall
Then caused the latter folk to follow after ?

ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Saheeh International
Thus do We deal with the criminals.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অপরাধীদের সাথে আমরা এভাবেই করে থাকি।

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
Pickthall
Thus deal We ever with the guilty.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেদিন হবে চরম দুর্ভোগ প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Saheeh International
Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা কি তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করিনি একটি তুচ্ছ পানি থেকে?

أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّاءٍ مَّهِينٍ
Pickthall
Did We not create you from a base fluid

أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ
Saheeh International
And We placed it in a firm lodging
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারপর সেটাকে আমরা রেখেছি একটি নিরাপদ অবস্থানস্থলে,

فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
Pickthall
Which We laid up in a safe abode

فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
Saheeh International
For a known extent.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত।

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
Pickthall
For a known term ?

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
Saheeh International
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এভাবে আমরা তাকে সুষম করে গঠন করেছি, কতো নিপুণ স্রষ্টা আমরা!

فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
Pickthall
Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging!

فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Have We not made the earth a container
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা কি ভূ - পৃষ্ঠকে ধারণকারী বানাইনি,

أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
Pickthall
Have We not made the earth a receptacle

أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
Saheeh International
Of the living and the dead?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
জীবিত ও মৃতদের জন্যে?

أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتًا
Pickthall
Both for the living and the dead,

أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا
Saheeh International
And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারপর আমরা তাতে স্থাপন করেছি সুদৃঢ় উঁচু উঁচু পর্বতমালা এবং তোমাদের পান করিয়েছি সুপেয় পানি।

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُم مَّاءً فُرَاتًا
Pickthall
And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein ?

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।
Arabic, with marks
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Saheeh International
[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(সেদিন বলা হবে:) চলো তার দিকে যাকে (যে জাহান্নামকে) তোমরা অস্বীকার করতে।
Arabic, with marks
انطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Pickthall
(It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny;

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Saheeh International
Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
চলো, তিন শাখাওয়ালা ছায়ার দিকে।
Arabic, with marks
انطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلَاثِ شُعَبٍ
Pickthall
Depart unto the shadow falling threefold,

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ
Saheeh International
[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যে ছায়া ঠান্ডা নয় এবং যা রক্ষা করেনা অগ্নিশিখা থেকে।
Arabic, with marks
لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ
Pickthall
(Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame.

لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
Saheeh International
Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেটা উৎক্ষেপ করে বড় বড় স্ফুলিংগ অট্টালিকার মতো।
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ
Pickthall
Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles,

إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
Saheeh International
As if they were yellowish [black] camels.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেগুলো যেনো হলুদ উট।
Arabic, with marks
كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌ
Pickthall
(Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue.

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।
Arabic, with marks
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Saheeh International
This is a Day they will not speak,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এটা হবে এমন একটা দিন যেদিন কেউ কথা বলবেনা।

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
Pickthall
This is a day wherein they speak not,

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
Saheeh International
Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেদিন তাদের অনুমতি দেয়া হবেনা ওজর পেশ করার।
Arabic, with marks
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
Pickthall
Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses.

وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

Saheeh International
This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এটা হলো ফায়সালার দিন, আমরা (আজ) জমা (একত্র) করেছি তোমাদের এবং পূর্বের লোকদের।

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ
Pickthall
This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together.

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Saheeh International
So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আজ যদি তোমাদের কোনো চক্রান্ত থেকে থাকে তবে তা প্রয়োগ করো আমার বিরুদ্ধে।

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
Pickthall
If now ye have any wit, outwit Me.

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।
Arabic, with marks
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Saheeh International
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মুত্তাকিরা থাকবে ছায়া আর ঝরণাধারা ওয়ালা জায়গায়।
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Pickthall
Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains,

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Saheeh International
And fruits from whatever they desire,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা পাবে প্রচুর ফলমূল যা চাইবে তাদের মন।
Arabic, with marks
وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
Pickthall
And fruits such as they desire.

وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
Saheeh International
[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের আমলের পুরস্কার হিসেবে তোমরা খাও এবং পান করো তৃপ্তি সহকারে।

كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Pickthall
(Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did.

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Saheeh International
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এভাবেই আমরা পুরস্কৃত করি কল্যাণপরায়ণদের।
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Pickthall
Thus do We reward the good.

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Saheeh International
[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা খাও এবং ভোগ করে নাও অল্প কিছু দিন। তোমরা অবশ্যি অপরাধী।
Arabic, with marks
كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
Pickthall
Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty.

كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।
Arabic, with marks
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Saheeh International
And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের যখন বলা হয় ‘রুকু করো (নত হও)’, তারা রুকু করেনা।

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
Pickthall
When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down!

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
Saheeh International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ধ্বংস সেদিন প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্যে।
Arabic, with marks
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Pickthall
Woe unto the repudiators on that day!

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সুতরাং তারা এর (কুরআনের) পরিবর্তে আর কোন্ বাণীর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে?

فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ

In what statement, after this, will they believe ?

فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
