Chapter 62, 11 verses
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে, সবই তসবিহ করছে আল্লাহর, যিনি মহান সম্রাট, অতিশয় পবিত্র, মহাশক্তিধর, মহাপ্রজ্ঞাবান।
আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে যাহা কিছু আছে সমস্তই পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে র, যিনি অধিপতি, মহাপবিত্র, পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Yusabbihu lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi almaliki alquddoosi alAAazeezi alhakeemi
It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error -
তিনি সেই মহান সত্তা, যিনি উম্মিদের (নিরক্ষরদের) মাঝে পাঠিয়েছেন একজন রসূল তাদের মধ্য থেকেই, যে তাদের প্রতি তিলাওয়াত করে তাঁর আয়াত, তাদের পরিশুদ্ধ ও উন্নত করে এবং তাদের শিক্ষা দেয় আল কিতাব (আল কুরআন) আর হিকমাহ। যদিও ইতোপূর্বে তারা নিমজ্জিত ছিলো সুস্পষ্ট গোমরাহিতে;
তিনিই উম্মীদের মধ্যে একজন রাসূল পাঠাইয়াছেন তাহাদের মধ্য হইতে, যে তাহাদের নিকট আবৃত্তি করে তাঁহার আয়াতসমূহ ; তাহাদেরকে পবিত্র করে এবং শিক্ষা দেয় কিতাব ও হিক্মত ; ইতিপূর্বে তো উহারা ছিল ঘোর বিভ্রান্তিতে ;
Huwa allathee baAAatha fee alommiyyeena rasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wain kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin
And [to] others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
এবং তিনি এ রসূলকে পাঠিয়েছেন অন্যদের প্রতিও যারা এখনো তাদের সাথে মিলিত হয়নি। তিনি মহাপরাক্রমশালী, মহাপ্রজ্ঞাবান।
এবং তাহাদের অন্যান্যের জন্যও যাহারা এখনও তাহাদের সঙ্গে মিলিত হয় নাই। পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Waakhareena minhum lamma yalhaqoo bihim wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
That is the bounty of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
এটা আল্লাহরই অনুগ্রহ, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন, তা দিয়ে থাকেন। আর তো মহা অনুগ্রহপরায়ণ।
ইহা রই অনুগ্রহ, যাহাকে ইচ্ছা তিনি ইহা দান করেন। তো মহা অনুগ্রহশীল।
Thalika fadlu Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
যাদের উপর তাওরাতের দায়িত্বভার অর্পণ করা হয়েছিল, অথচ তারা সে দায়িত্ব পালন করেনি, তাদের দৃষ্টান্ত হলো গাধা, যারা কিতাবের বোঝা বহন করে (কিন্তু তা পাঠ করেনা, বুঝেনা এবং অনুসরণ ও বাস্তবায়ন করেনা)। কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট সেই লোকদের দৃষ্টান্ত যারা আল্লাহর আয়াত প্রত্যাখ্যান করে। যালিম লোকদের সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করেননা।
যাহাদেরকে তাওরাতের দায়িত্বভার অর্পণ করা হইয়াছিল, কিন্তু তাহারা উহা বহন করে নাই, তাহাদের দৃষ্টান্ত পুস্তক বহনকারী গর্দভ! কত নিকৃষ্ট সে সম্প্রদায়ের দৃষ্টান্ত যাহারা র আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে! সম্প্রদায়কে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।
Mathalu allatheena hummiloo alttawrata thumma lam yahmilooha kamathali alhimari yahmilu asfaran bisa mathalu alqawmi allatheena kaththaboo biayati Allahi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah, excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful."
(হে নবী!) বলো: হে ইহুদিরা! তোমরা যদি মনে করো, তোমরাই আল্লাহর অলি, অন্য লোকেরা নয়, তাহলে তোমরা মউত কামনা করো যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকো।
বল, ‘হে ইয়াহূদীরা! যদি তোমরা মনে কর তোমরাই র বন্ধু, অন্য কোন মানবগোষ্ঠী নহে ; তবে তোমরা মৃত্যু কামনা কর, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও।’
Qul ya ayyuha allatheena hadoo in zaAAamtum annakum awliyao lillahi min dooni alnnasi fatamannawoo almawta in kuntum sadiqeena
But they will not wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.
কিন্তু তারা তা কখনো কামনা করবেনা তারা যা কামাই করে পাঠিয়েছে তার কারণে। এই যালিমদের ভালো করেই জানেন।
কিন্তু উহারা উহাদের হস্ত দ্বারা যাহা অগ্রে প্রেরণ করিয়াছে উহার কারণে কখনও মৃত্যু কামনা করিবে না। জালিমদের সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।
Wala yatamannawnahu abadan bima qaddamat aydeehim waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena
Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do."
(হে নবী!) বলো তোমরা যে মউত থেকে পালাচ্ছো, সে মউত তোমাদের সাথে অবশ্যি মোলাকাত (সাক্ষাত) করবে। তারপর তোমাদের ফেরত নেয়া হবে ও দৃশ্যের জ্ঞানীর কাছে। তখন তোমাদের অবহিত করা হবে, তোমরা (পৃথিবীর জীবনে) কী কাজ করেছিলে?
বল, ‘তোমরা যে মৃত্যু হইতে পলায়ন কর সেই মৃত্যু তোমাদের সঙ্গে অবশ্যই সাক্ষাৎ করিবে। অতঃপর তোমরা প্রত্যানীত হইবে ও দৃশ্যের পরিজ্ঞাতা র নিকট এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে জানাইয়া দিবেন যাহা তোমরা করিতে।’
Qul inna almawta allathee tafirroona minhu fainnahu mulaqeekum thumma turaddoona ila AAalimi alghaybi waalshshahadati fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona
O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
হে লোকেরা! জুমাবারে যখন তোমাদের আহবান করা হয় সালাতের জন্যে, তখন তোমরা আল্লাহর যিকিরের (সালাতের) দিকে দৌড়াও এবং স্থগিত রাখো ব্যবসায়িক কার্যক্রম। এটাই তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর, যদি তোমরা জানতে!
হে মু’মিনগণ! জুমু‘আর দিনে যখন সালাতের জন্য আহ্বান করা হয় তখন তোমরা র স্মরণে ধাবিত হও এবং ক্রয় - বিক্রয় ত্যাগ কর, ইহাই তোমাদের জন্য শ্রেয় যদি তোমরা উপলব্ধি কর।
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha noodiya lilssalati min yawmi aljumuAAati faisAAaw ila thikri Allahi watharoo albayAAa thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed.
তারপর শেষ হলে তোমরা ছড়িয়ে পড়ো জমিনে এবং সন্ধান করো আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ, আর বেশি বেশি যিকির করো আল্লাহকে, অবশ্যি হবে তোমরা।
সমাপ্ত হইলে তোমরা পৃথিবীতে ছড়াইয়া পড়িবে এবং র অনুগ্রহ সন্ধান করিবে ও কে অধিক স্বরণ করিবে, যাহাতে তোমরা হও।
Faitha qudiyati alssalatu faintashiroo fee alardi waibtaghoo min fadli Allahi waothkuroo Allaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona
But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers."
তারা যখন ব্যবসায় এবং তামাশা - কৌতুক দেখতে পেলো, তখন তোমাকে দাঁড়ানো অবস্থায় রেখে তারা ছুটে গেলো সেদিকে। তুমি বলো: আল্লাহর কাছে যা রয়েছে সেটা খেলতামাশা এবং ব্যবসার থেকে কল্যাণকর।’ আল্লাহ্ই সর্বোত্তম রিযিকদাতা।
যখন তাহারা দেখিল ব্যবসায় ও কৌতুক তখন তাহারা তোমাকে দাঁড়ান অবস্থায় রাখিয়া উহার দিকে ছুটিয়া গেল। বল, ‘র নিকট যাহা আছে তাহা ক্রীড়া - কৌতুক ও ব্যবসায় অপেক্ষা উৎকৃষ্ট।’ সর্বশ্রেষ্ট রিযিকদাতা।
Waitha raaw tijaratan aw lahwan infaddoo ilayha watarakooka qaiman qul ma AAinda Allahi khayrun mina allahwi wamina alttijarati waAllahu khayru alrraziqeena
