Chapter 47, 38 verses
Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds.
যাহারা করে এবং অপরকে র পথ হইতে নিবৃত্ত করে তিনি তাহাদের কর্ম ব্যর্থ করিয়া দেন।
ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.
যাহারা ঈমান আনে, সৎকর্ম করে এবং মুহাম্মাদের প্রতি যাহা অবতীর্ণ হইয়াছে তাহাতে বিশ্বাস করে, আর উহাই তাহাদের প্রতিপালক হইতে প্রেরিত সত্য, তিনি তাহাদের মন্দ কর্মগুলি বিদূরিত করিবেন এবং তাহাদের অবস্থা ভাল করিবেন।
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَءَامَنُوا۟ بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons.
ইহা এইজন্য যে, যাহারা করে তাহারা মিথ্যার অনুসরণ করে এবং যাহারা ঈমান আনে তাহারা তাহাদের প্রতিপালক - প্রেরিত সত্যের অনুসরণ করে। এইভাবে মানুষের জন্য তাহাদের দৃষ্টান্ত প্রদান করেন।
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلْبَٰطِلَ وَأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ أَمْثَٰلَهُمْ
So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.
অতএব যখন তোমরা কাফিরদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধে মুকাবিলা কর তখন তাহাদের গর্দানে আঘাত কর, পরিশেষে যখন তোমরা উহাদেরকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে পরাভূত করিবে তখন উহাদেরকে কষিয়া বাঁধিবে ; অতঃপর হয় অনুকম্পা, নয় মুক্তিপণ। তোমরা জিহাদ চালাইবে যতক্ষণ না যুদ্ধ ইহার অস্ত্র নামাইয়া ফেলে। ইহাই বিধান। ইহা এইজন্য যে, ইচ্ছা করিলে উহাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে পারিতেন, কিন্তু তিনি চাহেন তোমাদের একজনকে অপরের দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করিতে। যাহারা র পথে নিহত হয় তিনি কখনও তাহাদের র্কম বিনষ্ট হইতে দেন না।
فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَضَرْبَ ٱلرِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْ فَشُدُّوا۟ ٱلْوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنًّۢا بَعْدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ ٱلْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا ذَٰلِكَ وَلَوْ يَش
He will guide them and amend their condition
তিনি তাহাদেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন এবং তাহাদের অবস্থা ভাল করিয়া দেন।
سَيَهْدِيهِمْ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَهُمْ
And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them.
তিনি তাহাদেরকে দাখিল করিবেন জান্নাতে, যাহার কথা তিনি তাহাদেরকে জানাইয়াছিলেন।
وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ
O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.
হে মু’মিনগণ ! যদি তোমরা কে সাহায্য কর, তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করিবেন এবং তোমাদের অবস্থান দৃঢ় করিবেন।
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَنصُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ
But those who disbelieve - for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds.
যাহারা করিয়াছে তাহাদের জন্য রহিয়াছে দুর্ভোগ এবং তিনি তাহাদের কর্ম ব্যর্থ করিয়া দিবেন।
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَتَعْسًا لَّهُمْ وَأَضَلَّ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds.
ইহা এইজন্য যে, যাহা অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছেন উহারা তাহা অপসন্দ করে। সুতরাং উহাদের কর্ম নিষ্ফল করিয়া দিবেন।
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable.
উহারা কি পৃথিবীতে পরিভ্রমণ করে নাই এবং দেখে নাই উহাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পরিণাম কি হইয়াছে? উহাদেরকে ধ্বংস করিয়াছেন এবং কাফিরদের জন্য রহিয়াছে অনুরূপ পরিণাম।
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَمْثَٰلُهَا
That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector.
ইহা এইজন্য যে, তো মু’মিনদের অভিভাবক এবং কাফিরদের তো কোন অভিভাবকই নাই।
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوْلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَأَنَّ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ لَا مَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ
Indeed, Allah will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them.
যাহারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাহাদেরকে দাখিল করিবেন জান্নাতে যাহার নিম্নদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত; কিন্তু যাহারা করে উহারা ভোগ - বিলাসে মত্ত থাকে এবং জন্তু - জানোয়ারের মত উদর পূর্তি করে; আর জাহান্নামই উহাদের নিবাস।
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثْوًى ل
And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.
উহারা তোমার যে জনপদ হইতে তোমাকে বিতাড়িত করিয়াছে তাহা অপেক্ষা অতি শক্তিশালী কত জনপদ ছিল; আমি উহাদেরকে ধ্বংস করিয়াছি এবং উহাদের সাহায্যকারী কেহ ছিল না।
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ هِىَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ
So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires?
যে ব্যক্তি তাহার প্রতিপালক - প্রেরিত সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত, সে কি তাহার ন্যায়, যাহার নিকট নিজের মন্দ কর্মগুলি শোভন প্রতীয়মান হয় এবং যাহারা নিজ খেয়াল - খুশির অনুসরণ করে?
أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ كَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَهُم
Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?
মুত্তাকীদেরকে যে জান্নাতের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেওয়া হইয়াছে তাহার দৃষ্টান্ত : উহাতে আছে নির্মল পানির নহর, আছে দুধের নহর যাহার স্বাদ অপরিবর্তনীয়, আছে পানকারীদের জন্য সুস্বাদু সুরার নহর, আছে পরিশোধিত মধুর নহর এবং সেখানে উহাদের জন্য থাকিবে বিবিধ ফলমূল আর তাহাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ হইতে ক্ষমা। মুত্তাকীরা কি তাহাদের ন্যায়, যাহারা জাহান্নামে স্থায়ী হইবে এবং যাহাদেরকে পান করিতে দেওয়া হইবে ফুটন্ত পানি যাহা উহাদের নাড়িভুঁড়ি ছিন্ন - বিচ্ছিন্ন করিয়া দিবে?
مَّثَلُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ فِيهَآ أَنْهَٰرٌ مِّن مَّآءٍ غَيْرِ ءَاسِنٍ وَأَنْهَٰرٌ مِّن لَّبَنٍ لَّمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُۥ وَأَنْهَٰرٌ مِّنْ خَمْرٍ لَّذَّةٍ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ وَأَنْهَٰرٌ
And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.
উহাদের মধ্যে কতক তোমার কথা শ্রবণ করে, অতঃপর তোমার নিকট হইতে বাহির হইয়া যাহারা জ্ঞানপ্রাপ্ত তাহাদেরকে বলে, ‘এইমাত্র সে কী বলিল?’ ইহাদের অন্তর মোহর করিয়া দিয়াছেন এবং উহারা নিজেদের খেয়াল - খুশিরই অনুসরণ করে।
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا خَرَجُوا۟ مِنْ عِندِكَ قَالُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ ءَانِفًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَه
And those who are guided - He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness.
যাহারা সৎপথ অবলম্বন করে তাহাদের সৎপথে চলিবার শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং তাহাদেরকে হইবার শক্তি দান করেন।
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَءَاتَىٰهُمْ تَقْوَىٰهُمْ
Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance?
উহারা কি কেবল এইজন্য অপেক্ষা করিতেছে যে, কিয়ামত উহাদের নিকট আসিয়া পড়ুক আকস্মিকভাবে? কিয়ামতের লক্ষণসমূহ তো আসিয়াই পড়িয়াছে। কিয়ামত আসিয়া পড়িলে উহারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করিবে কেমন করিয়া!
فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً فَقَدْ جَآءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمْ إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَىٰهُمْ
So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows of your movement and your resting place.
সুতরাং জানিয়া রাখ, ব্যতীত অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ নাই, ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর তোমার এবং নর - নারীদের ত্রুটির জন্য। তোমাদের গতিবিধি এবং অবস্থান সম্বন্ধে সম্যক অবগত আছেন।
فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ وَمَثْوَىٰكُمْ
Those who believe say, "Why has a surah not been sent down? But when a precise surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death. And more appropriate for them [would have been]
মু’মিনরা বলে, ‘একটি সূরা অবতীর্ণ হয় না কেন?’ অতঃপর যদি দ্ব্যর্থহীন কোন সূরা অবতীর্ণ হয় এবং উহাতে যুদ্ধের কোন নির্দেশ থাকে তুমি দেখিবে যাহাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি আছে তাহারা মৃত্যুভয়ে বিহ্বল মানুষের মত তোমার দিকে তাকাইতেছে। শোচনীয় পরিণাম উহাদের।
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ مُّحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا ٱلْقِتَالُ رَأَيْتَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ ٱلْمَغْشِىِّ عَلَيْ
Obedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them.
আনুগত্য ও ন্যায়সংগত বাক্য উহাদের জন্য উত্তম ছিল; সুতরাং চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত হইল, যদি উহারা র প্রতি পদত্ত অঙ্গীকার পূরণ করিত, তবে তাহাদের জন্য ইহা অবশ্যই মঙ্গলজনক হইত।
طَاعَةٌ وَقَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ ٱلْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ
So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship?
তবে ক্ষমতায় অধিষ্ঠিত হইলে সম্ভবত তোমরা পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করিবে এবং আত্মীয়তার বন্ধন ছিন্ন করিবে।
فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَن تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟ أَرْحَامَكُمْ
Those [who do so] are the ones that Allah has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision.
ইহাদেরকেই লা’নত করেন আর করেন বধির ও দৃষ্টিশক্তিহীণ।
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمْ وَأَعْمَىٰٓ أَبْصَٰرَهُمْ
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?
তবে কি উহারা কুরআন সম্বন্ধে অভিনিবেশ সহকারে চিন্তা করে না? না উহাদের অন্তর তালাবদ্ধ?
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ
Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them.
যাহারা নিজেদের নিকট সৎপথ ব্যক্ত হইবার পর উহা পরিত্যাগ করে, শয়তান উহাদের কাজকে শোভন করিয়া দেখায় এবং উহাদেরকে মিথ্যা আশা দেয়।
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱرْتَدُّوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَٰرِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَى ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَىٰ لَهُمْ
That is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal.
ইহা এইজন্য যে, যাহা অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছেন, তাহা যাহারা অপসন্দ করে তাহাদেরকে উহারা বলে, ‘আমরা কোন্ কোন্ বিষয়ে তোমাদের আনুগত্য করিব।’ উহাদের গোপন অভিসন্ধি অবগত আছেন।
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُوا۟ مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمْ فِى بَعْضِ ٱلْأَمْرِ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِسْرَارَهُمْ
Then how [will it be] when the angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs?
ফিরিশ্তারা যখন উহাদের মুখমণ্ডলে ও পৃষ্ঠদেশে আঘাত করিতে করিতে প্রাণ হরণ করিবে, তখন উহাদের দশা কেমন হইবে।
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتْهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْ
That is because they followed what angered Allah and disliked [what earns] His pleasure, so He rendered worthless their deeds.
ইহা এইজন্য যে, উহারা তাহার অনুসরণ করে, যাহা র অসন্তোষ জন্মায় এবং তাঁহার সন্তুষ্টিকে অপ্রিয় গণ্য করে ; তিনি ইহাদের কর্ম নিষ্ফল করিয়া দেন।
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَآ أَسْخَطَ ٱللَّهَ وَكَرِهُوا۟ رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
Or do those in whose hearts is disease think that Allah would never expose their [feelings of] hatred?
যাহাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি আছে তাহারা কি মনে করে যে, কখনো উহাদের বিদ্বেষভাব প্রকাশ করিয়া দিবেন না?
أَمْ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ أَن لَّن يُخْرِجَ ٱللَّهُ أَضْغَٰنَهُمْ
And if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allah knows your deeds.
আমি ইচ্ছা করিলে তোমাকে উহাদের পরিচয় দিতাম। ফলে তুমি উহাদের লক্ষণ দেখিয়া উহাদেরকে চিনিতে পারিতে, তবে তুমি অবশ্যই কথার ভংগিতে উহাদেরকে চিনিতে পারিবে। তোমাদের র্কম সম্পর্কে অবগত।
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَأَرَيْنَٰكَهُمْ فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم بِسِيمَٰهُمْ وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ فِى لَحْنِ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ
And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs.
আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করিব, যতক্ষণ না আমি জানিয়া লই তোমাদের মধ্যে জিহাদকারী ও ধৈর্যশীলদেরকে এবং আমি তোমাদের ব্যাপারে পরীক্ষা করি।
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَعْلَمَ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمْ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَا۟ أَخْبَارَكُمْ
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds.
যাহারা করে এবং মানুষকে র পথ হইতে নিবৃত্ত করে এবং নিজেদের নিকট পথের দিশা ব্যক্ত হইবার পর রাসূলের বিরোধিতা করে, উহারা র কোনই ক্ষতি করিতে পারিবে না। তিনি তো তাহাদের কর্ম ব্যর্থ করিবেন।
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَشَآقُّوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰ لَن يَضُرُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ شَيْـًٔا وَسَيُحْبِطُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.
হে মু’মিনগণ ! তোমরা র আনুগত্য কর এবং রাসূলের আনুগত্য কর, আর তোমাদের কর্ম বিনষ্ট করিও না।
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَلَا تُبْطِلُوٓا۟ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them.
যাহারা করে ও র পথ হইতে মানুষকে নিবৃত্ত করে, অতঃপর অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করে, কখনই তাহাদেরকে ক্ষমা করিবেন না।
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ
So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds.
সুতরাং তোমরা হীনবল হইও না এবং সন্ধির প্রস্তাব করিও না, তোমরাই প্রবল; তোমাদের সঙ্গে আছেন, তিনি তোমাদের কর্মফল কখনও ক্ষুণ্ন করিবেন না।
فَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَتَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ
[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.
পার্থিব জীবন তো কেবল ক্রীড়া - কৌতুক, যদি তোমরা ঈমান আন, তাকওয়া অবলম্বন কর, তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের পুরষ্কার দিবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের ধন - সম্পদ চান না।
إِنَّمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ يُؤْتِكُمْ أُجُورَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْـَٔلْكُمْ أَمْوَٰلَكُمْ
If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness.
তোমাদের নিকট হইতে তিনি তাহা চাহিলে ও তজ্জন্য তোমাদের উপর চাপ দিলে তোমরা তো কার্পণ্য করিবে এবং তখন তিনি তোমাদের বিদ্বেষভাব প্রকাশ করিয়া দিবেন।
إِن يَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَا فَيُحْفِكُمْ تَبْخَلُوا۟ وَيُخْرِجْ أَضْغَٰنَكُمْ
Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.
দেখ, তোমরাই তো তাহারা যাহাদেরকে র পথে ব্যয় করিতে বলা হইতেছে অথচ তোমাদের অনেকে কৃপণতা করিতেছে। যাহারা কার্পণ্য করে তাহারা তো কার্পণ্য করে নিজেদেরই প্রতি। অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্রস্ত। যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হও, তিনি অন্য জাতিকে তোমাদের স্থলবর্তী করিবেন; তাহারা তোমাদের মত হইবে না।
هَٰٓأَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلْغَنِىُّ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ يَسْ
