The Striking Calamity -

করাঘাতকারী,

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْقَارِعَةُ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
প্রচন্ড দুর্ঘটনা!

What is the Striking Calamity?

কী সেই প্রচন্ড দুর্ঘটনা!

And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?

করাঘাতকারী সম্পর্কে আপনি কি জানেন ?

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কিভাবে জানবে, কী সেই প্রচন্ড দুর্ঘটনা!
Saheeh International
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,

যেদিন মানুষ হবে বিক্ষিপ্ত পতংগের মত

يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(এটা হলো সেইদিনের ঘটনা) যেদিন মানুষের অবস্থা হবে বিক্ষিপ্ত পতংগের মতো,

And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
এবং পর্বতমালা হবে ধুনিত রঙ্গীন পশমের মত।

وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর পাহাড় - পর্বতের অবস্থা হবে ধূনা রংগীন পশমের মতো।
Saheeh International
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
অতএব যার পাল্লা ভারী হবে,

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেদিন যার (ভালো কাজের) পাল্লা হবে ভারি,
Saheeh International
He will be in a pleasant life.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
সে সুখীজীবন যাপন করবে।

فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে থাকবে সুখ - সম্ভোগ আর আনন্দের জীবনে।

But as for one whose scales are light,
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
আর যার পাল্লা হালকা হবে,

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কিন্তু যার (ভালো কাজের) পাল্লা হবে হালকা,

His refuge will be an abyss.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
তার ঠিকানা হবে হাবিয়া।

فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তার মা হবে হাবিয়া ।
Saheeh International
And what can make you know what that is?

আপনি জানেন তা কি?

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি জানো, সেটা (হাবিয়া) কী?
Saheeh International
It is a Fire, intensely hot.

প্রজ্জ্বলিত অগ্নি!

نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেটা হলো জ্বলন্ত আগুন।
