Chapter 94, 8 verses

বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
Yusuf Ali
Have We not expanded thee thy breast? -
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate,
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আমি কি তোমার জন্য তোমার বক্ষ প্রশস্ত করিনি?
Yusuf Ali
And removed from thee thy burden
Pickthall
And eased thee of the burden
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর আমি নামিয়ে দিয়েছি তোমার থেকে তোমার বোঝা,
Yusuf Ali
The which did gall thy back? -
Pickthall
Which weighed down thy back;
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যা তোমার পিঠ ভেঙ্গে দিচ্ছিল।
Yusuf Ali
And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?
Pickthall
And exalted thy fame ?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর আমি তোমার (মর্যাদার) জন্য তোমার স্মরণকে সমুন্নত করেছি।
Yusuf Ali
So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:
Pickthall
But lo! with hardship goeth ease,
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সুতরাং কষ্টের সাথেই রয়েছে সুখ।
Yusuf Ali
Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
Pickthall
Lo! with hardship goeth ease;
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় কষ্টের সাথেই রয়েছে সুখ।
Yusuf Ali
Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,
Pickthall
So when thou art relieved, still toil
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব যখনই তুমি অবসর পাবে, তখনই কঠোর ইবাদাতে রত হও।
Yusuf Ali
And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.
Pickthall
And strive to please thy Lord.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তোমার রবের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হও।
