Chapter 104, 9 verses
Woe to every (kind of) scandal - monger and - backbiter,
Woe to every slanderer, defamer,
দুর্ভোগ প্রত্যেকের যে সামনে নিন্দাকারী ও পেছনে গীবতকারী।
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by,
Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap);
যে সম্পদ জমা করে এবং বার বার গণনা করে।
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
সে মনে করে তার সম্পদ তাকে চিরজীবি করবে।
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces,
Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster,
কখনো নয়, অবশ্যই সে নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে হুতামা’য়।
كَلَّا لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces?
And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is?
আর কিসে তোমাকে জানাবে হুতামা কি?
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
(It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze),
It is the fire kindled by Allah,
আল্লাহর প্রজ্জ্বলিত আগুন।
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts:
Which rises above the hearts.
যা হৃৎপিন্ড পর্যন্ত পৌঁছে যাবে।
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
It shall be made into a vault over them,
Surely it shall be closed over upon them,
নিশ্চয় তা তাদেরকে আবদ্ধ করে রাখবে।
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
In columns outstretched.
In extended columns.
প্রলম্বিত স্তম্ভসমূহে।
فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
