Yusuf Ali
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things),

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ
বাংলা উচ্চারণ
বিসমিল্লাহির রাহমা-নির রাহি-ম আল্হা-কুমু ত্তাকা-ছুরু
Yusuf Ali
Until ye visit the graves.

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ

হাত্তা-র্যুতুমুল্ মাক্বা-র্বি।

But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality).

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

কাল্লা-সাওফা তা'লামূনা
Yusuf Ali
Again, ye soon shall know!

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

ছুম্মা কাল্লা-সাওফা তা'লামূন্।
Yusuf Ali
Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!)

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ

কাল্লা-লাও তা'লামূনা ই'ল্মাল্ ইয়াক্বীন্।

Ye shall certainly see Hell - Fire!

لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ

লাতারায়ুন্নাল্ জ্বাহীমা

Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight!

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ

ছুম্মা লাতারায়ুন্নাহা-'আইনাল্ ইয়াক্বীন।

Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!).

ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ

ছুম্মা লাতুস্য়ালুন্না ইয়াওমায়িযিন্ 'আনিন্নাঈ'ম্।
