Chapter 27, 93 verses
These are verses of the Qur'an, - a book that makes (things) clear;
Ta-Sin. Dies sind die Zeichen des Qur'ans und eines deutlichen Buches,
তা - সীন ; এইগুলি আয়াত আল - কুরআনের এবং সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের;
A guide: and glad tidings for the believers, -
als Rechtleitung und frohe Botschaft für die Gläubigen,
পথনির্দেশ ও সুসংবাদ মু’মিনদের জন্য।
Those who establish regular prayers and give in regular charity, and also have (full) assurance of the hereafter.
die das Gebet verrichten und die Abgabe entrichten, und sie, die sie vom Jenseits überzeugt sind.
যাহারা কায়েম করে ও যাকাত দেয় আর তাহারাই আখিরাতে নিশ্চিত ।
As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction.
Gewiß, denjenigen, die nicht an das Jenseits glauben, haben Wir ihre Taten ausgeschmückt, so daß sie blind umherirren.
যাহারা আখিরাতে বিশ্বাস করে না তাহাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাহাদের কর্মকে আমি শোভন করিয়াছি, ফলে উহারা বিভ্রান্তিতে ঘুরিয়া বেড়ায়;
Such are they for whom a grievous Penalty is (waiting); and in the Hereafter theirs will be the greatest loss.
Das sind diejenigen, für die es böse Strafe geben wird, und im Jenseits sind sie die größten Verlierer.
ইহাদেরই জন্য রহিয়াছে কঠিন শাস্তি এবং ইহারাই আখিরাতে সর্বাধিক ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
As to thee, the Qur'an is bestowed upon thee from the presence of one who is wise and all - knowing.
Dir wird der Qur'an wahrlich von Seiten eines Allweisen und Allwissenden zum Empfang überbracht.
নিশ্চয়ই তোমাকে আল - কুরআন দেওয়া হইতেছে প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞের নিকট হইতে।
Behold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warm yourselves.
Als Musa zu seinen Angehörigen sagte: "Ich habe ein Feuer wahrgenommen. Ich werde euch davon eine Nachricht bringen, oder ich bringe euch einen Leuchtkörper, ein brennendes Stück Holz, auf daß ihr euch (daran) wärmen könnt."
স্মরণ কর সেই সময়ের কথা, যখন মূসা তাহার পরিবারবর্গকে বলিয়াছিল, ‘আমি আগুন দেখিয়াছি, সত্বর আমি সেখান হইতে তোমাদের জন্য কোন খবর আনিব অথবা তোমাদের জন্য আনিব জ্বলন্ত অঙ্গার, যাহাতে তোমরা আগুন পোহাইতে পার।
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
Als er dort ankam, wurde ihm zugerufen: "Gesegnet ist wer im Feuer und wer in dessen Umgebung ist, und Preis sei Allah, dem Herrn der Weltenbewohner!
অতঃপর সে যখন উহার নিকট আসিল, তখন ঘোষিত হইল ‘ধন্য, যাহারা আছে এই আলোর মধ্যে এবং যাহারা আছে ইহার চতুষ্পার্শ্বে, জগতসমূহের প্রতিপালক পবিত্র ও মহিমান্বিত।
"O Moses! verily, I am Allah, the exalted in might, the wise!....
O Musa, Ich bin es, gewiß, Ich bin Allah, der Allmächtige und Allweise."
‘হে মূসা! আমি তো , পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়,
"Now do thou throw thy rod!" But when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: "O Moses!" (it was said), "Fear not: truly, in My presence, those called as messengers have no fear, -
Und: "Wirf deinen Stock hin." Doch als er sah, daß er sich hin und her bewegte, als wäre er eine flinke Schlange, kehrte er den Rücken und wandte sich nicht mehr um. "O Musa, fürchte dich nicht, denn bei Mir brauchen sich die Gesandten nicht zu fürchten.
‘তুমি তোমার লাঠি নিক্ষেপ কর।’ অতঃপর যখন সে উহাকে সর্পের ন্যায় ছুটাছুটি করিতে দেখিল তখন সে পিছনের দিকে ছুটিতে লাগিল এবং ফিরিয়াও তাকাইল না। বলা হইল, ‘হে মূসা! ভীত হইও না, নিশ্চয়ই আমি এমন, আমার সান্নিধ্যে রাসূলগণ ভয় পায় না;
"But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft - Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Wer aber Unrecht getan und hierauf nach Bösem Gutes eingetauscht hat, so bin Ich Allvergebend und Barmherzig.
‘তবে যাহারা জুলুম করিবার পর মন্দ কর্মের পরিবর্তে সৎকর্ম করে, তাহাদের প্রতি আমি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
"Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression."
Und stecke deine Hand in deinen Brustschlitz, so kommt sie weiß, jedoch nicht von Übel befallen, heraus. (Dies zählt) zu neun Zeichen, (gerichtet) an Fir'aun und sein Volk. Gewiß, sie sind ein Volk von Frevlern."
‘এবং তোমার হাত তোমার বগলে রাখ, ইহা বাহির হইয়া আসিবে শুভ্র নির্মল অবস্থায়। ইহা ফির‘আওন ও তাহার সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট আনীত নয়টি নিদর্শনের অন্তর্গত। উহারা তো সত্যত্যাগী সম্প্রদায়।’
But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!"
Als dann Unsere Zeichen offenkundig sichtbar zu ihnen kamen, sagten sie: "Das ist deutliche Zauberei."
অতঃপর যখন উহাদের নিকট আমার স্পষ্ট নিদর্শন আসিল, উহারা বলিল, ‘ইহা সুস্পষ্ট জাদু।’
And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly!
Und sie verleugneten sie, obwohl sie selbst davon überzeugt waren, aus Ungerechtigkeit und Überheblichkeit. So schau, wie das Ende der Unheilstifter war.
উহারা অন্যায় ও উদ্ধতভাবে নিদর্শনগুলি প্রত্যাখ্যান করিল, যদিও উহাদের অন্তর এইগুলিকে সত্য বলিয়া গ্রহণ করিয়াছিল। দেখ, বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টিকারীদের পরিণাম কেমন হইয়াছিল!
We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe!"
Und Wir gaben bereits Dawud und Sulaiman Wissen. Und sie sagten: "(Alles) Lob gehört Allah, der uns vor vielen Seiner gläubigen Diener bevorzugt hat!"
আমি অবশ্যই দাঊদ ও সুলায়মানকে জ্ঞান দান করিয়াছিলাম এবং তাহারা উভয়ে বলিয়াছিল, সকল প্রশংসা র যিনি আমাদরেকে তাহার বহু বান্দাদের উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়াছেন।’
And Solomon was David's heir. He said: "O ye people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from Allah.)"
Und Sulaiman beerbte Dawud und sagte: "O ihr Menschen, uns ist die Sprache der Vögel gelehrt worden, und uns wurde von allem gegeben. Das ist wahrlich die deutliche Huld."
সুলায়মান হইয়াছিল দাঊদের উত্তরাধিকারী এবং সে বলিয়াছিল, ‘হে মানুষ! আমাকে বিহংগকুলের ভাষা শিক্ষা দেওয়া হইয়াছে এবং আমাকে সকল কিছু দেওয়া হইয়াছে, ইহা অবশ্যই সুস্পষ্ট অনুগ্রহ।’
And before Solomon were marshalled his hosts, - of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks.
Und versammelt wurden für Sulaiman seine Heerscharen - unter den Ginn, Menschen und Vögeln -, und so wurden sie in Reihen geordnet.
সুলায়মানের সম্মুখে সমবেত করা হইল তাহার বাহিনীকে - জিন, মানুষ ও বিহংগকুলকে এবং উহাদেরকে বিন্যস্ত করা হইল বিভিন্ন ব্যূহে।
At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it."
Als sie dann zum Ameisental kamen, sagte eine Ameise: "O ihr Ameisen, geht in eure Wohnungen hinein, damit euch ja nicht Sulaiman und seine Heerscharen niederwalzen, ohne daß sie merken."
যখন উহারা পিপীলিকা - অধ্যুষিত উপত্যকায় পৌঁছিল তখন এক পিপীলিকা বলিল, ‘হে পিপীলিকা - বাহিনী! তোমরা তোমাদের গৃহে প্রবেশ কর, যেন সুলায়মান এবং তাহার বাহিনী তাহাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদেরকে পদতলে পিষিয়া না ফেলে।’
So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: "O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants."
Da lächelte er erheitert über ihre Worte und sagte: "Mein Herr, veranlasse mich, für Deine Gunst zu danken, die Du mir und meinen Eltern erwiesen hast, und rechtschaffen zu handeln, womit Du zufrieden bist. Und lasse mich durch Deine Barmherzigkeit eingehen in die Reihen Deiner rechtschaffenen Diener."
সুলায়মান উহার উক্তিতে মৃদু হাস্য করিল এবং বলিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! তুমি আমাকে সামর্থ্য দাও যাহাতে আমি তোমার প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করিতে পারি, আমার প্রতি ও আমার পিতামাতার প্রতি তুমি যে অনুগ্রহ করিয়াছ তাহার জন্য এবং যাহাতে আমি সৎকার্য করিতে পারি, যাহা তুমি পসন্দ কর এবং তোমার অনুগ্রহে আমাকে তোমার সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দাদের শামিল কর।’
And he took a muster of the Birds; and he said: "Why is it I see not the Hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?
Und er schaute bei den Vögeln nach. Da sagte er: "Wie kommt es, daß ich den Wiedehopf nicht sehe? Befindet er sich etwa unter den Abwesenden?
সুলায়মান বিহংগদলের সন্ধান লইল এবং বলিল, ‘ব্যাপার কি, হুদ্হুদ্কে দেখিতেছি না যে! সে অনুপস্থিত না কি ?
"I will certainly punish him with a severe penalty, or execute him, unless he bring me a clear reason (for absence)."
Ich werde ihn ganz gewiß strengstens strafen, oder ich werde ihn ganz gewiß hinrichten (lassen)', es sei denn, er bringt mir fürwahr eine deutliche Ermächtigung."
‘সে উপযুক্ত কারণ না দর্শাইলে আমি অবশ্যই উহাকে কঠিন শাস্তি দিব অথবা যবেহ্ করিব।’
But the Hoopoe tarried not far: he (came up and) said: "I have compassed (territory) which thou hast not compassed, and I have come to thee from Saba with tidings true.
Aber er blieb nicht lange aus. Er sagte: "Ich habe (an Wissen) erfaßt, was du nicht erfaßt hast. Und ich bringe dir aus Saba sichere Kunde.
অনতিবিলম্বে হুদ্হুদ্ আসিয়া পড়িল এবং বলিল, ‘আপনি যাহা অবগত নন আমি তাহা অবগত হইয়াছি এবং ‘সাবা’ হইতে সুনিশ্চিত সংবাদ লইয়া আসিয়াছি।
"I found (there) a woman ruling over them and provided with every requisite; and she has a magnificent throne.
Gewiß, ich habe herausgefunden, daß eine Frau über sie herrscht, daß ihr von allem gegeben worden ist und daß sie einen gewaltigen Thron hat.
‘আমি তো এক নারীকে দেখিলাম উহাদের উপর রাজত্ব করিতেছে। তাহাকে দেওয়া হইয়াছে সকল কিছু হইতেই এবং তাহার আছে এক বিরাট সিংহাসন।
"I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides Allah: Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path, - so they receive no guidance, -
Ich habe herausgefunden, daß sie und ihr Volk sich vor der Sonne niederwerfen, anstatt vor Allah. Und der Satan hat ihnen ihre Taten ausgeschmückt und sie dann vom Weg abgehalten, so daß sie nicht rechtgeleitet sind,
‘আমি তাহাকে ও তাহার সম্প্রদায়কে দেখিলাম তাহারা র পরিবর্তে সূর্যকে সিজ্দা করিতেছে। শয়তান উহাদের কার্যাবলী উহাদের নিকট শোভন করিয়াছে এবং উহাদেরকে সৎপথ হইতে নিবৃত্ত করিয়াছে, ফলে উহারা সৎপথ পায় না;
"(Kept them away from the Path), that they should not worship Allah, Who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what ye hide and what ye reveal.
(dies), damit sie sich nicht vor Allah niederwerfen, Der das Versteckte in den Himmeln und auf der Erde herausbringt und weiß, was ihr verbergt, und was ihr offenlegt.
‘নিবৃত্ত করিয়াছে এইজন্য যে, উহারা যেন সিজ্দা না করে কে যিনি আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর লুক্কায়িত বস্তুকে প্রকাশ করেন, যিনি জানেন, যাহা তোমরা গোপন কর এবং যাহা তোমরা ব্যক্ত কর।
"Allah! - there is no god but He! - Lord of the Throne Supreme!"
Allah - es gibt keinen Gott außer Ihm, dem Herrn des gewaltigen Thrones."
‘, তিনি ব্যতীত কােন ইলাহ্ নাই, তিনি মহাআরশের অধিপতি।’
(Solomon) said: "Soon shall we see whether thou hast told the truth or lied!
Er sagte: "Wir werden schauen, ob du die Wahrheit sagst oder ob du zu den Lügnern gehörst.
সুলায়মান বলিল, ‘আমি দেখিব তুমি কি সত্য বলিয়াছ, না তুমি মিথ্যাবাদী?
"Go thou, with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them: then draw back from them, and (wait to) see what answer they return"...
Geh mit diesem meinem Schreiben, überbringe es ihnen und kehre dich hierauf von ihnen ab. Dann schau, was sie erwidern."
‘তুমি যাও আমার এই পত্র লইয়া এবং ইহা তাহাদের নিকট অর্পণ কর ; অতঃপর তাহাদের নিকট হইতে সরিয়া থাকিও এবং লক্ষ্য করিও তাহাদের প্রতিক্রিয়া কি?’
(The queen) said: "Ye chiefs! here is delivered to me - a letter worthy of respect.
Sie sagte: "O ihr führende Schar, mir ist ein edles Schreiben zugeworfen worden.
সেই নারী বলিল, ‘হে পারিষদবর্গ! আমাকে এক সম্মানিত পত্র দেওয়া হইয়াছে ;
"It is from Solomon, and is (as follows): 'In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful:
Gewiß, es ist von Sulaiman, und es lautet: ,Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen.
‘ইহা সুলায়মানের নিকট হইতে এবং ইহা এই: দয়াময়, পরম দয়ালু র নামে,
"'Be ye not arrogant against me, but come to me in submission (to the true Religion).'"
Seid mir gegenüber nicht überheblich und kommt als (Allah) Ergebene zu mir'."
‘অহমিকাবশে আমাকে অমান্য করিও না, এবং আনুগত্য স্বীকার করিয়া আমার নিকট উপস্থিত হও।’
She said: "Ye chiefs! advise me in (this) my affair: no affair have I decided except in your presence."
Sie sagte: "O ihr führende Schar, gebt mir eure Meinung über meine Angelegenheit bekannt; ich pflege ja keine Angelegenheit zu entscheiden, solange ihr nicht bei mir anwesend seid."
সেই নারী বলিল, ‘হে পারিষদবর্গ! আমার এই সমস্যায় তোমাদের অভিমত দাও। আমি কোন ব্যাপারে চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করি না তোমাদের উপস্থিতি ব্যতীত।
They said: "We are endued with strength, and given to vehement war: but the command is with thee; so consider what thou wilt command."
Sie sagten: "Wir besitzen eine Streitmacht und besitzen eine starke Gewalt, doch es steht dir zu, zu befehlen. So sieh zu, was du befehlen willst."
উহারা বলিল, ‘আমরা তো শক্তিশালী ও কঠোর যোদ্ধা; তবে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের ক্ষমতা আপনারই, কী আদেশ করিবেন তাহা আপনি ভাবিয়া দেখুন।’
She said: "Kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and make the noblest of its people its meanest thus do they behave.
Sie sagte: "Gewiß, wenn Könige eine Stadt betreten, verderben sie sie und machen die Mächtigen ihrer Bewohner zu Erniedrigten, und so handeln sie.
সে বলিল, ‘রাজা - বাদশাহরা যখন কোন জনপদে প্রবেশ করে তখন উহাকে বিপর্যস্ত করিয়া দেয় এবং সেখানকার মর্যাদাবান ব্যক্তিদেরকে অপদস্থ করে, ইহারাও এইরূপই করিবে;
"But I am going to send him a present, and (wait) to see with what (answer) return (my) ambassadors."
Gewiß, ich werde (Boten) zu ihnen senden mit einem Geschenk und dann abwarten, was (für eine Antwort) die Gesandten zurückbringen."
‘আমি তাহাদের নিকট উপঢৌকন পাঠাইতেছি, দেখি, দূতেরা কী লইয়া ফিরিয়া আসে।’
Now when (the embassy) came to Solomon, he said: "Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift!
Als er zu Sulaiman kam, sagte dieser : "Wollt ihr mich mit Besitz unterstützen? Aber das, was mir Allah gegeben hat, ist besser als das, was Er euch gegeben hat. Nein! Vielmehr seid ihr es, die ihr über euer Geschenk froh seid.
দূত সুলায়মানের নিকট আসিলে সুলায়মান বলিল, ‘তোমরা কি আমাকে ধন - সম্পদ দিয়া সাহায্য করিতেছ? আমাকে যাহা দিয়াছেন, তাহা তোমাদেরকে যাহা দিয়াছেন তাহা হইতে উৎকৃষ্ট অথচ তোমরা তোমাদের উপঢৌকন লইয়া উৎফুল্ল বোধ করিতেছ।
"Go back to them, and be sure we shall come to them with such hosts as they will never be able to meet: We shall expel them from there in disgrace, and they will feel humbled (indeed)."
Kehr zu ihnen zurück. Wir werden ganz gewiß mit Heerscharen über sie kommen, denen sie nichts entgegenzusetzen haben. Und wir werden sie ganz gewiß erniedrigt daraus vertreiben, als Geringgeachtete."
‘উহাদের নিকট ফিরিয়া যাও, আমি অবশ্যই উহাদের বিরুদ্ধে লইয়া আসিব এক সৈন্যবাহিনী যাহার মুকাবিলা করিবার শক্তি উহাদের নাই। আমি অবশ্যই উহাদেরকে সেখান হইতে বহিষ্কার করিব লাঞ্ছিতভাবে এবং উহারা হইবে অবনমিত।’
He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
Er sagte: "O ihr führende Schar, wer von euch bringt mir ihren Thron, bevor sie als (Allah) Ergebene zu mir kommen?"
সুলায়মান আরো বলিল, ‘হে আমার পরিষদবর্গ! তাহারা আত্মসমর্পণ করিয়া আমার নিকট আসিবার পূর্বে তোমাদের মধ্যে কে তাহার সিংহাসন আমার নিকট লইয়া আসিবে?’
Said an 'Ifrit, of the Jinns: "I will bring it to thee before thou rise from thy council: indeed I have full strength for the purpose, and may be trusted."
Ein unüberwindlicher von den Ginn sagte: "Ich bringe ihn dir, bevor du dich von deiner Stelle erhebst. Und ich bin wahrlich stark (genug) dazu und vertrauenswürdig."
এক শক্তিশালী জিন বলিল, ‘আপনি আপনার স্থান হইতে উঠিবার পূর্বেই আমি উহা আনিয়া দিব এবং এই ব্যাপারে আমি অবশ্যই ক্ষমতাবান, বিশ্বস্ত।’
Said one who had knowledge of the Book: "I will bring it to thee within the twinkling of an eye!" Then when (Solomon) saw it placed firmly before him, he said: "This is by the Grace of my Lord! - to test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful! and if any is grateful, truly his gratitude is (a gain) for his own soul; but if any is ungrateful, truly my Lord is Free of all Needs, Supreme in Honour!"
Derjenige, der Wissen aus der Schrift hatte, sagte: "Ich bringe ihn dir, bevor dein Blick zu dir zurückkehrt." Als er ihn unbeweglich bei sich stehen sah, sagte er: "Dies ist von der Huld meines Herrn, damit Er mich prüft, ob ich dankbar oder undankbar bin. Wer dankbar ist, der ist nur zu seinem eigenen Vorteil dankbar; wer aber undankbar ist - so ist mein Herr unbedürftig und freigebig."
কিতাবের জ্ঞান যাহার ছিল, সে বলিল, ‘আপনি চক্ষুর পলক ফেলিবার পূর্বেই আমি উহা আপনাকে আনিয়া দিব।’ সুলায়মান যখন উহা সম্মুখে রক্ষিত অবস্থায় দেখিল তখন সে বলিল, ‘ইহা আমার প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ, যাহাতে তিনি আমাকে পরীক্ষা করিতে পারেন - আমি কৃতজ্ঞ না অকৃতজ্ঞ। যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে, সে তো কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে নিজেরই কল্যাণের জন্য এবং যে অকৃতজ্ঞ, সে জানিয়া রাখুক যে, আমার প্রতিপালক অভাবমুক্ত, মহানুভব।’
He said: "Transform her throne out of all recognition by her: let us see whether she is guided (to the truth) or is one of those who receive no guidance."
Er sagte: "Macht ihr ihren Thron unkenntlich, wir wollen schauen, ob sie rechtgeleitet wird oder ob sie zu denjenigen gehört, die nicht rechtgeleitet werden."
সুলায়মান বলিল, ‘তাহার সিংহাসনের আকৃতি অপরিচিত করিয়া বদলাইয়া দাও; দেখি সে সঠিক দিশা পায়, না সে বিভ্রান্তদের শামিল হয়;
So when she arrived, she was asked, "Is this thy throne?" She said, "It was just like this; and knowledge was bestowed on us in advance of this, and we have submitted to Allah (in Islam)."
Als sie kam, wurde (zu ihr) gesagt: "Ist dein Thron so (wie dieser hier)?" Sie sagte: "Es ist so, als ob er es sei.8" (Sulaiman sagte:) "Und uns wurde schon davor das Wissen gegeben, und wir waren (Allah) ergeben."
সেই নারী যখন আসিল, তখন তাহাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হইল, ‘তোমার সিংহাসন কি এইরূপই?’ সে বলিল, ‘ইহা তো যেন উহাই।’ আমাদেরকে ইতিপূর্বেই প্রকৃত জ্ঞান দান করা হইয়াছে এবং আমরা আত্মসর্মপণও করিয়াছি।’
And he diverted her from the worship of others besides Allah: for she was (sprung) of a people that had no faith.
Aber abgehalten (vom Glauben) hat sie das, dem sie anstatt Allahs diente, denn sie gehörte zu ungläubigen Leuten.
র পরিবর্তে সে যাহার পূজা করিত তাহাই তাহাকে সত্য হইতে নিবৃত্ত করিয়াছে, সে ছিল সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
She was asked to enter the lofty Palace: but when she saw it, she thought it was a lake of water, and she (tucked up her skirts), uncovering her legs. He said: "This is but a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass." She said: "O my Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul: I do (now) submit (in Islam), with Solomon, to the Lord of the Worlds."
Es wurde zu ihr gesagt: "Tritt in den Prachtbau ein." Als sie ihn sah, hielt sie ihn für ein tiefes Wasser und entblößte ihre Unterschenkel. Er sagte: "Es ist ein mit Glas ausgelegter Prachtbau." Sie sagte: "Mein Herr, ich habe mir selbst Unrecht zugefügt, aber ich ergebe mich (nun), zusammen mit Sulaiman, Allah, dem Herrn der Weltenbewohner."
তাহাকে বলা হইল, ‘এই প্রাসাদে প্রবেশ কর।’ যখন সে উহা দেখিল তখন সে উহাকে এক গভীর জলাশয় মনে করিল এবং সে তাহার পদদ্বয় অনাবৃত করিল। সুলায়মান বলিল, ‘ইহা তো স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিক মণ্ডিত প্রাসাদ।’ সেই নারী বলিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমি তো নিজের প্রতি জুলুম করিয়াছিলাম, আমি সুলায়মানের সঙ্গে জগতসমূহের প্রতিপালক র নিকট আত্মসমর্পণ করিতেছি।’
We sent (aforetime), to the Thamud, their brother Salih, saying, "Serve Allah": But behold, they became two factions quarrelling with each other.
Und Wir sandten bereits zu den Tamud ihren Bruder Salih: "Dient Allah." Da waren es sogleich zwei Gruppen, die miteinander stritten.
আমি অবশ্যই সামূদ সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট তাহাদের ভ্রাতা সালিহ্কে পাঠাইয়াছিলাম এই আদেশসহঃ ‘তােমরা র ‘ইবাদত কর’, কিন্তু উহারা দ্বিধাবিভক্ত হইয়া বিতর্কে লিপ্ত হইল।
He said: "O my people! why ask ye to hasten on the evil in preference to the good? If only ye ask Allah for forgiveness, ye may hope to receive mercy.
Er sagte: "O mein Volk, warum wünscht ihr, das Schlechte vor dem Guten zu beschleunigen? Würdet ihr doch Allah um Vergebung bitten, auf daß ihr Erbarmen finden möget!"
সে বলিল, ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা কেন কল্যাণের পূর্বে অকল্যাণ ত্বরান্বিত করিতে চাহিতেছ ? কেন তোমরা র নিকট ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করিতেছ না, যাহাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহভাজন হইতে পার?’
They said: "Ill omen do we augur from thee and those that are with thee". He said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; yea, ye are a people under trial."
Sie sagten: "Wir sehen ein böses Vorzeichen in dir und in denjenigen, die mit dir sind." Er sagte: "Euer Vorzeichen ist bei Allah. Nein! Vielmehr seid ihr Leute, die der Versuchung ausgesetzt werden."
উহারা বলিল, ‘তোমাকে ও তোমার সঙ্গে যাহারা আছে তাহাদেরকে আমরা অমঙ্গলের কারণ মনে করি।’ সালিহ্ বলিল, ‘তোমাদের শুভাশুভ র ইখ্তিয়ারে, বস্তুত তোমরা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাহাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করা হইতেছে।’
There were in the city nine men of a family, who made mischief in the land, and would not reform.
Nun befanden sich in der Stadt neun Mitglieder einer Sippschaft, die auf der Erde Unheil stifteten und keine Besserung brachten.
আর সেই শহরে ছিল এমন নয় ব্যক্তি, যাহারা দেশে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করিত এবং সৎকর্ম করিত না।
They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"
Sie sagten: "Schwört einander bei Allah: Wir werden ganz gewiß ihn und seine Angehörigen nachts überfallen, und hierauf werden wir zu seinem nächsten Verwandten sagen: ,Wir waren bei der Vernichtung seiner Angehörigen nicht zugegen, und wir sagen ganz gewiß die Wahrheit'."
উহারা বলিল, ‘তোমরা র নামে শপথ গ্রহণ কর, ‘আমরা রাত্রিকালে তাহাকে ও তাহার পরিবার - পরিজনকে অবশ্যই আক্রমণ করিব; অতঃপর তাহার অভিভাবককে নিশ্চয় বলিব,‘তাহার পরিবার - পরিজনের হত্যা আমরা প্রত্যক্ষ করি নাই; আমরা অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।’
They plotted and planned, but We too planned, even while they perceived it not.
Sie schmiedeten Ränke, und Wir schmiedeten Ränke, ohne daß sie merkten.
উহারা এক চক্রান্ত করিয়াছিল এবং আমিও এক কৌশল অবলম্বন করিলাম, কিন্তু উহারা বুঝিতে পারে নাই।
Then see what was the end of their plot! - this, that We destroyed them and their people, all (of them).
Schau nur, wie die Folge ihrer Ränke war: Wir zerstörten sie und ihr Volk allesamt.
অতএব দেখ, উহাদের চক্রান্তের পরিণাম কী হইয়াছে - আমি অবশ্যই উহাদেরকে ও উহাদের সম্প্রদায়ের সকলকে ধ্বংস করিয়াছি।
Now such were their houses, - in utter ruin, - because they practised wrong - doing. Verily in this is a Sign for people of knowledge.
Dies sind nun ihre Häuser, wüst dafür, daß sie Unrecht taten. Darin ist wahrlich ein Zeichen für Leute, die Bescheid wissen.
এই তো উহাদের ঘরবাড়ি - সীমালংঘনহেতু যাহা জনশূন্য অবস্থায় পড়িয়া আছে; ইহাতে জ্ঞানী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রহিয়াছে।
And We saved those who believed and practised righteousness.
Und Wir retteten diejenigen, die glaubten und gottesfürchtig waren.
এবং যাহারা ও ছিল তাহাদেরকে আমি উদ্ধার করিয়াছি।
(We also sent) Lut (as a messenger): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)?
Und (Wir sandten) Lut. Als er zu seinem Volk sagte: "Wollt ihr denn sehend(en Auges) das Abscheuliche begehen?
স্মরণ কর লূতের কথা, সে তাহার সম্প্রদায়কে বলিয়াছিল, ‘তোমরা জানিয়া - শুনিয়া কেন অশ্লীল কাজ করিতেছ,
Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant!
Laßt ihr euch denn wahrlich in Begierde mit den Männern ein anstatt mit den Frauen? Aber nein! Ihr seid Leute, die töricht sind."
‘তোমরা কি কামতৃপ্তির জন্য নারীকে ছাড়িয়া পুরুষে উপগত হইবে? তোমরা তো এক অজ্ঞ সম্প্রদায়।’
But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"
Doch die Antwort seines Volkes war nur, daß sie sagten: "Vertreibt die Sippe Luts aus eurer Stadt! Das sind Menschen, die sich rein halten."
উত্তরে তাহার সম্প্রদায় শুধু বলিল, ‘লূত - পরিবারকে তোমাদের জনপদ হইতে বহিষ্কার কর, ইহারা তো এমন লোক যাহারা পবিত্র সাজিতে চায়।
But We saved him and his family, except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lagged behind.
Da retteten Wir ihn und seine Angehörigen, außer seiner Frau; Wir bestimmten, daß sie zu denjenigen gehörte, die zurückblieben.
অতঃপর আমি তাহাকে ও তাহার পরিজনবর্গকে উদ্ধার করিলাম, তাহার স্ত্রী ব্যতীত, তাহাকে করিয়াছিলাম ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!
Und Wir ließen einen Regen auf sie niedergehen; wie böse war der Regen der Ge warnten!
তাহাদের উপর ভয়ংকর বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করিয়াছিলাম, ভীতি প্রদর্শিতদের জন্য এই বর্ষণ ছিল কত নিকৃষ্ট!
Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better? - Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)?
Sag: (Alles) Lob gehört Allah, und Friede sei auf Seinen Dienern, die Er Sich auserwählt hat! Ist denn Allah besser oder das, was sie (Ihm) beigesellen?
বল, ‘সকল প্রশংসা রই এবং শান্তি তাঁহার মনোনীত বান্দাদের প্রতি!’ শ্রেষ্ঠ কি , না উহারা যাহাদেরকে শরীক করে তাহারা?
Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well - planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice.
Oder (ist besser) Wer die Himmel und die Erde erschaffen hat und für euch vom Himmel Wasser herabkommen läßt, durch das Wir in Entzücken versetzende umfriedete Gärten wachsen lassen, deren Bäume unmöglich ihr wachsen lassen könntet. Gibt es denn einen (anderen) Gott neben Allah? Nein! Vielmehr sind sie Leute, die (Allah andere) gleichsetzen.
বরং তিনি, যিনি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী এবং আকাশ হইতে তোমাদের জন্য বর্ষণ করেন বৃষ্টি ; অতঃপর আমি উহা দ্বারা মনোরম উদ্যান সৃষ্টি করি, উহার বৃক্ষাদি উদ্গত করিবার ক্ষমতা তোমাদের নাই। র সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? তবুও উহারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাহারা সত্যবিচ্যুত হয়।
Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, most of them know not.
Oder (ist besser) Wer die Erde zu einem festen Grund gemacht und Flüsse durch sie gemacht und festgegründete Berge (auf) ihr gemacht und zwischen den beiden Meeren eine Schranke gemacht hat? Gibt es denn einen (anderen) Gott neben Allah? Aber nein! Die meisten von ihnen wissen nicht.
বরং তিনি, যিনি পৃথিবীকে করিয়াছেন বাসোপযোগী এবং উহার মাঝে মাঝে প্রবাহিত করিয়াছেন নদীনালা এবং উহাতে স্থাপন করিয়াছেন সুদৃঢ় পর্বত ও দুই দরিয়ার মধ্যে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন অন্তরায় ; র সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? তবুও উহাদের অনেকেই জানে না।
Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed!
Oder (ist besser) Wer den in einer Notlage Befindlichen erhört, wenn er Ihn anruft, und das Böse hinwegnimmt und euch zu Nachfolgern (auf) der Erde macht? Gibt es denn einen (anderen) Gott neben Allah? Wie wenig ihr bedenkt!
বরং তিনি, যিনি আর্তের আহ্বানে সাড়া দেন, যখন সে তাঁহাকে ডাকে এবং বিপদ - আপদ দূরীভূত করেন এবং তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে প্রতিনিধি করেন। র সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? তোমরা উপদেশ অতি সামান্যই গ্রহণ করিয়া থাক।
Or, Who guides you through the depths of darkness on land and sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? - High is Allah above what they associate with Him!
Oder (ist besser) Wer euch in den Finsternissen des Festlandes und des Meeres (den rechten Weg) leitet und Wer die Winde als Frohboten Seiner Barmherzigkeit (voraus)sendet? Gibt es denn einen (anderen) Gott neben Allah? Erhaben ist Allah über das, was sie (Ihm) beigesellen.
বরং তিনি, যিনি তোমাদেরকে স্থলের ও পানির অন্ধকারে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন এবং যিনি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহের প্রাক্কালে সুসংবাদবাহী বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন। র সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? উহারা যাহাকে শরীক করে তাহা হইতে বহু ঊর্ধ্বে।
Or, Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye are telling the truth!"
Oder (ist besser) Wer die Schöpfung am Anfang macht und sie hierauf wiederholt und Wer euch vom Himmel und von der Erde versorgt? Gibt es denn einen (anderen) Gott neben Allah? Sag: Bringt euren Beweis vor, wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid.
বরং তিনি, যিনি আদিতে সৃষ্টি করেন, অতঃপর উহার পুনরাবৃত্তি করিবেন এবং যিনি তোমাদেরকে আকাশ ও পৃথিবী হইতে জীবনোপকরণ দান করেন। র সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? বল, ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে তোমাদের প্রমাণ পেশ কর।’
Say: None in the heavens or on earth, except Allah, knows what is hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for Judgment).
Sag: Über das Verborgene weiß nicht Bescheid wer in den Himmeln und auf der Erde ist, außer Allah; und sie merken nicht, wann sie auferweckt werden.
বল, ‘ ব্যতীত আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে কেহই বিষয়ের জ্ঞান রাখে না এবং উহারা জানে না উহারা কখন উত্থিত হইবে।’
Still less can their knowledge comprehend the Hereafter: Nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty thereanent; nay, they are blind thereunto!
Nein! Vielmehr hat ihr Wissen über das Jenseits versagt. Nein! Vielmehr sind sie darüber im Zweifel. Nein! Vielmehr sind sie ihm gegenüber blind.
সম্পর্কে উহাদের জ্ঞান তো নিঃশেষ হইয়াছে ; উহারা তো এ বিষয়ে সন্দিগ্ধ, বরং এ বিষয়ে উহারা অন্ধ।
The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust, - we and our fathers, - shall we really be raised (from the dead)?
Und diejenigen, die ungläubig sind, sagen: "Wenn wir zu Erde geworden sind, und (auch) unsere Väter, sollen wir denn dann wirklich wieder hervorgebracht werden?
কাফিররা বলে, ‘আমরা ও আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরা মৃত্তিকায় পর্যবসিত হইয়া গেলেও কি আমাদেরকে উত্থিত করা হইবে?
"It is true we were promised this, - we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients."
Dies ist zuvor bereits uns und unseren Vätern versprochen worden. Das sind nur Fabeln der Früheren."
‘এই বিষয়ে তো আমাদেরকে এবং পূর্বে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষগণকেও ভীতি প্রদর্শন করা হইয়াছিল। ইহা তো পূর্ববর্তীদের উপকথা ব্যতীত আর কিছু নহে।’
Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)."
Sag: Reist auf der Erde umher und schaut, wie das Ende der Übeltäter war.
বল, ‘পৃথিবীতে পরিভ্রমণ কর এবং দেখ অপরাধীদের পরিণাম কিরূপ হইয়াছে।’
But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots.
Sei nicht traurig über sie, und sei nicht in Beklommenheit wegen der Ränke, die sie schmieden.
উহাদের সম্পর্কে তুমি দুঃখ করিও না এবং উহাদের ষড়যন্ত্রে মনঃক্ষুণ্ন হইও না।
They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful."
Und sie sagen: "Wann wird dieses Versprechen eintreten, wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid?"
উহারা বলে, ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে বল, কখন এই প্রতিশ্রুতি পূর্ণ হইবে?’
Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!"
Sag: Vielleicht ist dicht hinter euch einiges von dem, was ihr zu beschleunigen wünscht.
বল, ‘তোমরা যে বিষয় ত্বরান্বিত করিতে চাহিতেছ সম্ভবত তাহার কিছু তোমাদের নিকটবর্তী হইয়াছে।’
But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful.
Dein Herr ist wahrlich voll Huld gegen die Menschen. Aber die meisten von ihnen sind nicht dankbar.
নিশ্চয়ই তোমার প্রতিপালক মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহশীল; কিন্তু উহাদের অধিকাংশই অকৃতজ্ঞ।
And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal.
Und dein Herr weiß fürwahr, was ihre Brüste verhehlen und was sie offenlegen.
উহাদের অন্তর যাহা গোপন করে এবং উহারা যাহা প্রকাশ করে তাহা তোমার প্রতিপালক অবশ্যই জানেন।
Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record.
Und es gibt nichts Verborgenes im Himmel und auf der Erde, das nicht in einem deutlichen Buch (verzeichnet) wäre.
আকাশে ও পৃথিবীতে এমন কোন গোপন রহস্য নাই, যাহা সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবে নাই।
Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree.
Gewiß, dieser Qur'an erzählt den Kindern Isra'ils das meiste von dem, worüber sie uneinig sind.
বনী ইসরাঈল যেই সমস্ত বিষয়ে মতভেদ করে, এই কুরআন তাহার অধিকাংশ তাহাদের নিকট বিবৃত করে।
And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe.
Und es ist wahrlich eine Rechtleitung und Barmherzigkeit für die Gläubigen.
এবং নিশ্চয়ই ইহা মু’মিনদের জন্য হিদায়াত ও রহমত।
Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All - Knowing.
Gewiß, dein Herr wird zwischen ihnen durch Sein Urteil entscheiden. Und Er ist der Allmächtige und Allwissende.
তোমার প্রতিপালক তো তাঁহার বিধান অনুযায়ী উহাদের মধ্যে ফায়সালা করিয়া দিবেন। তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, সর্বজ্ঞ।
So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth.
So verlasse dich auf Allah, denn du verfährst nach der offenkundigen Wahrheit.
অতএব র উপর নির্ভর কর ; তুমি তো স্পষ্ট সত্যে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat.
Du kannst weder die Toten hören lassen noch die Tauben den Ruf hören lassen, wenn sie den Rücken kehren.
মৃতকে তো তুমি কথা শোনাইতে পারিবে না, বধিরকেও পারিবে না আহ্বান শোনাইতে, যখন উহারা পিঠ ফিরাইয়া চলিয়া যায়।
Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam.
Noch kannst du die Blinden aus ihrem Irrtum heraus rechtleiten. Hören lassen kannst du nur, wer an Unsere Zeichen glaubt und die (Uns) somit ergeben sind.
তুমি অন্ধদেরকে উহাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা হইতে পথে আনিতে পারিবে না। তুমি শোনাইতে পারিবে কেবল তাহাদেরকে, যাহারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীতে বিশ্বাস করে। আর তাহারাই আত্মসর্মপণকারী।
And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs.
Und wenn das Wort über sie fällig wird, bringen Wir ihnen ein Tier aus der Erde hervor, das zu ihnen spricht; (dies), weil die Menschen von Unseren Zeichen nicht überzeugt sind.
যখন ঘোষিত শাস্তি উহাদের নিকট আসিবে তখন আমি মৃত্তিকাগর্ভ হইতে বাহির করিব এক জীব, যাহা উহাদের সঙ্গে কথা বলিবে, এইজন্য যে, মানুষ আমার নিদর্শনে অবিশ্বাসী।
One day We shall gather together from every people a troop of those who reject our Signs, and they shall be kept in ranks, -
Und (denke an) den Tag, da Wir aus jeder Gemeinschaft eine Schar von denjenigen versammeln werden, die Unsere Zeichen für Lüge erklären, und sie dann in Reihen geordnet werden.
স্মরণ কর সেই দিনের কথা, যেই দিন আমি সমবেত করিব প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায় হইতে এক - একটি দলকে, যাহারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলী প্রত্যাখ্যান করিত আর উহাদেরকে সারিবদ্ধ করা হইবে।
Until, when they come (before the Judgment - seat), (Allah) will say: "Did ye reject My Signs, though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?"
Wenn sie dann kommen, sagt Er: "Habt ihr denn Meine Zeichen für Lüge erklärt und davon kein umfassendes Wissen gehabt, oder was habt ihr denn sonst getan?"
যখন উহারা সমাগত হইবে তখন উহাদেরকে বলিবেন, ‘তোমরা কি আমার নিদর্শন প্রত্যাখ্যান করিয়াছিলে, অথচ উহা তোমরা জ্ঞানায়ত্ত করিতে পার নাই? বরং তোমরা আরও কিছু করিতেছিলে?’
And the Word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrong - doing, and they will be unable to speak (in plea).
Und das Wort wird über sie fällig werden dafür, daß sie Unrecht taten, und da werden sie nicht reden.
সীমালংঘন হেতু উহাদের উপর ঘোষিত শাস্তি আসিয়া পড়িবে; ফলে উহারা কিছুই বলিতে পারিবে না।
See they not that We have made the Night for them to rest in and the Day to give them light? Verily in this are Signs for any people that believe!
Sehen sie nicht, daß Wir die Nacht gemacht haben, damit sie in ihr ruhen, und den Tag hell? Darin sind wahrlich Zeichen für Leute, die glauben.
উহারা কি অনুধাবন করে না যে, আমি রাত্রি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি উহাদের বিশ্রামের জন্য এবং দিবসকে করিয়াছি আলোকপ্রদ? ইহাতে সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রহিয়াছে।
And the Day that the Trumpet will be sounded - then will be smitten with terror those who are in the heavens, and those who are on earth, except such as Allah will please (to exempt): and all shall come to His (Presence) as beings conscious of their lowliness.
Und (denke an) den Tag, da ins Horn geblasen wird und da (all) diejenigen erschrecken, die in den Himmeln und die auf der Erde sind, außer wer Allah will. Und alle kommen in Demut zu Ihm.
এবং যেদিন শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেওয়া হইবে, সেই দিন আকাশমণ্ডলীর ও পৃথিবীর সকলেই ভীত - বিহবল হইয়া পড়িবে, তবে যাহাদেরকে চাহিবেন তাহারা ব্যতীত এবং সকলেই তাঁহার নিকট আসিবে বিনীত অবস্থায়।
Thou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away: (such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do.
Und du siehst die Berge, von denen du meinst, sie seien unbeweglich, während sie wie Wolken vorbeiziehen. - (Es ist) das Werk Allahs, Der alles sehr geschickt gemacht hat. Gewiß, Er ist Kundig dessen, was ihr tut.
তুমি পর্বতমালা দেখিতেছ, মনে করিতেছ উহা অচল, অথচ উহারা হইবে মেঘপুঞ্জের ন্যায় সঞ্চরমাণ। ইহা রই সৃষ্টি নৈপুণ্য, যিনি সমস্ত কিছুকে করিয়াছেন সুষম। তোমরা যাহা কর সে সম্বন্ধে তিনি সম্যক অবগত।
If any do good, good will (accrue) to them therefrom; and they will be secure from terror that Day.
Wer mit einer guten Tat kommt, wird etwas Besseres als sie erhalten. Und sie sind vor (jedem) Schrecken an jenem Tag in Sicherheit'.
যে কেহ সৎকর্ম লইয়া আসিবে, সে উহা হইতে উৎকৃষ্ট প্রতিফল পাইবে এবং সেই দিন উহারা শংকা হইতে নিরাপদ থাকিবে।
And if any do evil, their faces will be thrown headlong into the Fire: "Do ye receive a reward other than that which ye have earned by your deeds?"
Wer aber mit einer schlechten Tat kommt, - diese werden mit ihren Gesichtern (voran) ins (Höllen)feuer gestürzt: "Wird euch denn etwas anderes vergolten als das, was ihr zu tun pflegtet?"
যে কেহ অসৎকর্ম লইয়া আসিবে, তাহাকে অধোমুখে নিক্ষেপ করা হইবে দোযখে এবং উহাদেরকে বলা হইবে, ‘তোমরা যাহা করিতে তাহারই প্রতিফল তোমাদেরকে দেওয়া হইতেছে।’
For me, I have been commanded to serve the Lord of this city, Him Who has sanctified it and to Whom (belong) all things: and I am commanded to be of those who bow in Islam to Allah's Will, -
Mir ist nur befohlen worden, dem Herrn dieser Ortschaft zu dienen, Der sie geschützt hat und Dem alles gehört. Und mir ist befohlen worden, einer der (Ihm) Ergebenen zu sein
আমি তো আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি এই নগরীর প্রভুর ‘ইবাদত করিতে, যিনি ইহাকে করিয়াছেন সম্মানিত। সমস্ত কিছু তাঁহারই। আমি আরও আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি, যেন আমি আত্মসমর্পণকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হই।
And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner".
und den Qur'an zu verlesen. Wer sich nun rechtleiten läßt, der ist nur zu seinem eigenen Vorteil rechtgeleitet. Und wenn einer irregeht, dann sag: Ich gehöre ja nur zu den Überbringern von Warnungen.
আমি আরও আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি, কুরআন তিলাওয়াত করিতে; অতএব যে ব্যক্তি সৎপথ অনুসরণ করে, সে সৎপথ অনুসরণ করে নিজেরই কল্যাণের জন্য। আর কেহ ভ্রান্তপথ অবলম্বন করিলে তুমি বলিও, ‘আমি তো কেবল সতর্ককারীদের মধ্যে একজন।’
And say: "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs, so that ye shall know them"; and thy Lord is not unmindful of all that ye do.
Und sag: (Alles) Lob gehört Allah! Er wird euch Seine Zeichen zeigen, und dann werdet ihr sie erkennen. Allah ist nicht unachtsam dessen, was ihr tut.
আর বল, ‘সকল প্রশংসা রই, তিনি তোমাদেরকে সত্বর দেখাইবেন তাঁহার নিদর্শন; তখন তোমরা উহা বুঝিতে পারিবে।’ তোমরা যাহা কর সে সম্বন্ধে তোমার প্রতিপালক গাফিল নন।
