Taseenmeem
طسٓمٓ
These are Verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.
এগুলো কিতাবুম মুবিনের (সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের) আয়াত।
Tilka ayatu alkitabi almubeeni
تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
We rehearse to thee some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh in Truth, for people who believe.
লোকদের জন্যে আমরা মূসা ও ফেরাউনের কিছু সংবাদ নিখুঁতভাবে তিলাওয়াত (বর্ণনা) করছি।
Natloo AAalayka min nabai moosa wafirAAawna bialhaqqi liqawmin yuminoona
نَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Truly Pharaoh elated himself in the land and broke up its people into sections, depressing a small group among them: their sons he slew, but he kept alive their females: for he was indeed a maker of mischief.
ফেরাউন দেশে হঠকারী নীতি অবলম্বন করে এবং নাগরিকদের বিভিন্ন শ্রেণীতে বিভক্ত করে একদল লোককে দুর্বল করে রেখেছিল। তাদের পুত্রদের যবাই করছিল এবং মেয়েদের জীবিত রাখছিল। সে ছিলো একজন ফাসাদ (বিপর্যয়) সৃষ্টিকারী।
Inna firAAawna AAala fee alardi wajaAAala ahlaha shiyaAAan yastadAAifu taifatan minhum yuthabbihu abnaahum wayastahyee nisaahum innahu kana mina almufsideena
إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَآئِفَةً مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
And We wished to be Gracious to those who were being depressed in the land, to make them leaders (in Faith) and make them heirs,
তখন আমরা এরাদা করেছিলাম, যাদের দুর্বল করে রাখা হয়েছিল তাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করবো, তাদের নেতৃত্ব দান করবো এবং তাদের ওয়ারিশ বানাবো,
Wanureedu an namunna AAala allatheena istudAAifoo fee alardi wanajAAalahum aimmatan wanajAAalahumu alwaritheena
وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
To establish a firm place for them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman, and their hosts, at their hands, the very things against which they were taking precautions.
এবং জমিনে তাদের প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবো। আর ফেরাউন, হামান এবং তাদের দুজনের বাহিনীকে তাদের (দুর্বল করে রাখাদের) থেকে সেই জিনিসটা দেখাবো যার আশংকা তারা করছিল (অর্থাৎ ক্ষমতাচ্যুতির)।
Wanumakkina lahum fee alardi wanuriya firAAawna wahamana wajunoodahuma minhum ma kanoo yahtharoona
وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ
So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers."
এ উদ্দেশ্যে আমরা মূসার মা’কে অহি (ইশারা) করে নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলাম: ‘‘ওকে (মূসাকে) বুকের দুধ পান করাতে থাকো। যখন তার (জীবনের) ব্যাপারে আশংকা করবে, তখন তাকে (বাক্সে করে) দরিয়ায় ভাসিয়ে দেবে। এ ক্ষেত্রে তুমি ভয়ও করোনা, দুশ্চিন্তাও করোনা। ওকে আমরা তোমার কোলেই ফিরিয়ে দেবো এবং তাকে আমরা বানাবো রসূলদের একজন।’’
Waawhayna ila ommi moosa an ardiAAeehi faitha khifti AAalayhi faalqeehi fee alyammi wala takhafee wala tahzanee inna raddoohu ilayki wajaAAiloohu mina almursaleena
وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِى وَلَا تَحْزَنِىٓ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Then the people of Pharaoh picked him up (from the river): (It was intended) that (Moses) should be to them an adversary and a cause of sorrow: for Pharaoh and Haman and (all) their hosts were men of sin.
তারপর ফেরাউনের পরিবারের লোকজন তাকে উঠিয়ে নেয়, যাতে করে (অবশেষে) সে তাদের শত্রু ও দুশ্চিন্তার কারণ হয়। নিশ্চয়ই ফেরাউন, হামান এবং তাদের বাহিনী ছিলো অপরাধী।
Failtaqatahu alu firAAawna liyakoona lahum AAaduwwan wahazanan inna firAAawna wahamana wajunoodahuma kanoo khatieena
فَٱلْتَقَطَهُۥٓ ءَالُ فِرْعَوْنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمْ عَدُوًّا وَحَزَنًا إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُوا۟ خَٰطِـِٔينَ
The wife of Pharaoh said: "(Here is) joy of the eye, for me and for thee: slay him not. It may be that he will be use to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not (what they were doing)!
ফেরাউনের স্ত্রী বলেছিল: ‘শিশুটি আমার ও তোমার চোখ জুড়াবে। ওকে হত্যা করোনা। হয়তো সে আমাদের উপকারে আসবে, অথবা আমরা তাকে সন্তান হিসেবেই গ্রহণ করতে পারি।’ অথচ তারা এর পরিণতি অনুভব করতে পারেনি।
Waqalati imraatu firAAawna qurratu AAaynin lee walaka la taqtuloohu AAasa an yanfaAAana aw nattakhithahu waladan wahum la yashAAuroona
وَقَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ لِّى وَلَكَ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
But there came to be a void in the heart of the mother of Moses: She was going almost to disclose his (case), had We not strengthened her heart (with faith), so that she might remain a (firm) believer.
এদিকে মূসার মার অন্তর অস্থির হয়ে পড়েছিল। যাতে করে সে আস্থাশীল থাকে সে জন্যে আমরা তার অন্তরকে মজবুত করে না দিলে সে তার পরিচয়ই প্রকাশ করে দিতো।
Waasbaha fuadu ommi moosa farighan in kadat latubdee bihi lawla an rabatna AAala qalbiha litakoona mina almumineena
وَأَصْبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَٰرِغًا إِن كَادَتْ لَتُبْدِى بِهِۦ لَوْلَآ أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And she said to the sister of (Moses), "Follow him" so she (the sister) watched him in the character of a stranger. And they knew not.
সে (মূসার মা) মূসার বোনকে বলেছিল: ‘তুই যা ওর পেছনে পেছনে।’ তখন সে তাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে দূর থেকে ওকে দেখতে দেখতে গিয়েছিল।
Waqalat liokhtihi qusseehi fabasurat bihi AAan junubin wahum la yashAAuroona
وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِۦ قُصِّيهِ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِۦ عَن جُنُبٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
And we ordained that he refused suck at first, until (His sister came up and) said: "Shall I point out to you the people of a house that will nourish and bring him up for you and be sincerely attached to him?"...
আমরা আগে থেকেই ধাত্রীর দুধপান তার (মূসার) জন্যে হারাম করে দিয়েছিলাম। সে (মূসার বোন) তাদের বলেছিল: ‘আমি কি আপনাদের এমন একটি পরিবারের সন্ধান দেবো যারা আপনাদের হয়ে একে লালন পালন করবে এবং তারা ওর কল্যাণকামীও হবে?’
Waharramna AAalayhi almaradiAAa min qablu faqalat hal adullukum AAala ahli baytin yakfuloonahu lakum wahum lahu nasihoona
وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ ٱلْمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبْلُ فَقَالَتْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَكْفُلُونَهُۥ لَكُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُۥ نَٰصِحُونَ
Thus did We restore him to his mother, that her eye might be comforted, that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true: but most of them do not understand.
এভাবেই আমরা তাকে ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম তার মায়ের কাছে যাতে করে তার চক্ষু শীতল হয় এবং সে দুশ্চিন্তা না করে, আর সে যেনো জানতে পারে আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। তবে অধিকাংশ লোকই জানেনা।
Faradadnahu ila ommihi kay taqarra AAaynuha wala tahzana walitaAAlama anna waAAda Allahi haqqun walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona
فَرَدَدْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّهِۦ كَىْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
When he reached full age, and was firmly established (in life), We bestowed on him wisdom and knowledge: for thus do We reward those who do good.
মূসা যখন পূর্ণ বালেগ হলো এবং বয়েসের দিক থেকে পরিণত হলো, তখন আমরা তাকে প্রজ্ঞা ও জ্ঞান দান করলাম। কল্যাণপরায়ণদের এভাবেই আমরা পুরস্কৃত করি।
Walamma balagha ashuddahu waistawa ataynahu hukman waAAilman wakathalika najzee almuhsineena
وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ وَٱسْتَوَىٰٓ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting, - one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (Satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"
সে (মূসা) নগরীতে প্রবেশ করলো, যখন তার অধিবাসীরা ছিলো অসতর্ক। সেখানে সে দুটি লোককে দেখলো সংঘর্ষে লিপ্ত। একজন তার নিজ গোত্রের, আরেকজন তার শত্রুপক্ষের। তার গোত্রের লোকটি শত্রুর বিরুদ্ধে তার সাহায্য চাইলো। তখন মূসা তাকে ঘুষি মারে এবং তাকে হত্যা করে বসে। (এই আকস্মিক ঘটনায়) মূসা বললো: এটা শয়তানের কান্ড। সে তো সুস্পষ্ট শত্রু এবং বিভ্রান্তকারী।
Wadakhala almadeenata AAala heeni ghaflatin min ahliha fawajada feeha rajulayni yaqtatilani hatha min sheeAAatihi wahatha min AAaduwwihi faistaghathahu allathee min sheeAAatihi AAala allathee min AAaduwwihi fawakazahu moosa faqada AAalayhi qala hatha min AAamali alshshaytani innahu AAaduwwun mudillun mubeenun
وَدَخَلَ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ وَهَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِۦ فَٱسْتَغَٰثَهُ ٱلَّذِى مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِى مِنْ عَ
He prayed: "O my Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul! Do Thou then forgive me!" So (Allah) forgave him: for He is the Oft - Forgiving, Most Merciful.
মূসা আরো বললো: ‘আমার রব! আমি নিজের প্রতি যুলুম করে ফেলেছি, তুমি আমাকে মাফ করে দাও।’ তখন তিনি তাকে মাফ করে দেন। কারণ, তিনি পরম ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়াবান।
Qala rabbi innee thalamtu nafsee faighfir lee faghafara lahu innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى فَٱغْفِرْ لِى فَغَفَرَ لَهُۥٓ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
He said: "O my Lord! For that Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace on me, never shall I be a help to those who sin!"
মূসা বললো: আমার প্রভু! যেহেতু তুমি আমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছো, তাই আমি আর কখনো অপরাধীদের সাহায্য করবো না।
Qala rabbi bima anAAamta AAalayya falan akoona thaheeran lilmujrimeena
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ
So he saw the morning in the city, looking about, in a state of fear, when behold, the man who had, the day before, sought his help called aloud for his help (again). Moses said to him: "Thou art truly, it is clear, a quarrelsome fellow!"
ভীত সন্ত্রস্ত অবস্থায় নগরীতে মূসার সকাল হলো। হঠাৎ সে শুনতে পায় গতকাল যে ব্যক্তি তার সাহায্য চেয়েছিল সে তার সাহায্যের জন্যে চীৎকার করছে। মূসা তাকে বললো: ‘তুমি এক সুস্পষ্ট বিপথগামী ব্যক্তি।’
Faasbaha fee almadeenati khaifan yataraqqabu faitha allathee istansarahu bialamsi yastasrikhuhu qala lahu moosa innaka laghawiyyun mubeenun
فَأَصْبَحَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ خَآئِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَنصَرَهُۥ بِٱلْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُۥ قَالَ لَهُۥ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّكَ لَغَوِىٌّ مُّبِينٌ
Then, when he decided to lay hold of the man who was an enemy to both of them, that man said: "O Moses! Is it thy intention to slay me as thou slewest a man yesterday? Thy intention is none other than to become a powerful violent man in the land, and not to be one who sets things right!"
মূসা যখন উভয়ের শত্রুকে ধরতে উদ্যত হলো, সে ব্যক্তি বলে উঠলো: ‘হে মূসা! তুমি যেভাবে গতকাল এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছো, সেভাবে কি আমাদেরও হত্যা করতে চাইছো? তুমি তো দেশে স্বেচ্ছাচারী হতে চাইছো, সংশোধনকামী হতে চাচ্ছোনা।
Falamma an arada an yabtisha biallathee huwa AAaduwwun lahuma qala ya moosa atureedu an taqtulanee kama qatalta nafsan bialamsi in tureedu illa an takoona jabbaran fee alardi wama tureedu an takoona mina almusliheena
فَلَمَّآ أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِٱلَّذِى هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِى كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًۢا بِٱلْأَمْسِ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
And there came a man, running, from the furthest end of the City. He said: "O Moses! the Chiefs are taking counsel together about thee, to slay thee: so get thee away, for I do give thee sincere advice."
(এ সময়) নগরীর দূরপ্রান্ত থেকে এক ব্যক্তি দৌড়ে এসে বললো: ‘হে মূসা। ফেরাউনের পারিষদবর্গ তোমাকে হত্যা করার জন্যে পরামর্শ করছে, তুমি (মিশর) থেকে বেরিয়ে যাও, আমি তোমার কল্যাণ চাই।’
Wajaa rajulun min aqsa almadeenati yasAAa qala ya moosa inna almalaa yatamiroona bika liyaqtulooka faokhruj innee laka mina alnnasiheena
وَجَآءَ رَجُلٌ مِّنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱلْمَلَأَ يَأْتَمِرُونَ بِكَ لِيَقْتُلُوكَ فَٱخْرُجْ إِنِّى لَكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ
He therefore got away therefrom, looking about, in a state of fear. He prayed "O my Lord! save me from people given to wrong - doing."
মূসা ভয়ে সতর্কভাবে (দেশ থেকে) বেরিয়ে পড়লো। সে বললো: ‘আমার প্রভু! আমাকে যালিম কওমের কবল থেকে রক্ষা করো।’
Fakharaja minha khaifan yataraqqabu qala rabbi najjinee mina alqawmi alththalimeena
فَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا خَآئِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِى مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Then, when he turned his face towards (the land of) Madyan, he said: "I do hope that my Lord will show me the smooth and straight Path."
মূসা যখন মাদায়েনের উদ্দেশ্যে রওয়ানা করলো, তখন বললো: ‘আশা করি আমার প্রভু আমাকে সঠিক পথ দেখাবেন।’
Walamma tawajjaha tilqaa madyana qala AAasa rabbee an yahdiyanee sawaa alssabeeli
وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَآءَ مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبِّىٓ أَن يَهْدِيَنِى سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
And when he arrived at the watering (place) in Madyan, he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He said: "What is the matter with you?" They said: "We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take back (their flocks): And our father is a very old man."
যখন সে মাদায়েনের কূপের কাছে পৌঁছে, সেখানে দেখতে পায় একদল লোক পশুদের পানি পান করাচ্ছে। সবার পেছনে দুই নারীকে দেখতে পায়, তারা তাদের পশুকে আগলে রাখছে। মূসা তাদের বললো: ‘আপনাদের ব্যাপার কী?’ তারা বললো: ‘আমরা আমাদের পশুদের পানি পান করাতে পারিনা, যতোক্ষণ রাখালেরা তাদের পশুদের পানি পান করিয়ে চলে না যায়। আমাদের পিতা একজন অতি বৃদ্ধ ব্যক্তি।’
Walamma warada maa madyana wajada AAalayhi ommatan mina alnnasi yasqoona wawajada min doonihimu imraatayni tathoodani qala ma khatbukuma qalata la nasqee hatta yusdira alrriAAao waaboona shaykhun kabeerun
وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَآءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ ٱمْرَأَتَيْنِ تَذُودَانِ قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُمَا قَالَتَا لَا نَسْقِى حَتَّىٰ يُصْدِرَ ٱلرِّعَآءُ وَأَبُ
So he watered (their flocks) for them; then he turned back to the shade, and said:"O my Lord! truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!"
মূসা তাদের পক্ষে তাদের পশুকে পানি পান করিয়ে দিলো। তারপর ছায়ার নীচে ফিরে এসে বললো: ‘আমার প্রভু! তুমি আমাকে যে আতিথ্যের ব্যবস্থাই করে দেবে, আমি তার মুখাপেক্ষী।’
Fasaqa lahuma thumma tawalla ila alththilli faqala rabbi innee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun
فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى لِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ إِلَىَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Afterwards one of the (damsels) came (back) to him, walking bashfully. She said: "My father invites thee that he may reward thee for having watered (our flocks) for us." So when he came to him and narrated the story, he said: "Fear thou not: (well) hast thou escaped from unjust people."
তখন সেই দুই নারীর একজন লজ্জায় জড়োসড়ো হয়ে তার কাছে এলো এবং বললো: ‘আমার আব্বু আপনাকে ডাকছেন আমাদের পশুগুলোকে পানি পান করানোর পারিশ্রমিক দিতে।’ মূসা যখন তার কাছে এলো এবং নিজের সব ঘটনা বিস্তারিত খুলে বললো, সে বললো: ‘তুমি আর ভয় পেয়োনা, তুমি যালিম কওমের কবল থেকে নাজাত পেয়ে গেছো।’
Fajaathu ihdahuma tamshee AAala istihyain qalat inna abee yadAAooka liyajziyaka ajra ma saqayta lana falamma jaahu waqassa AAalayhi alqasasa qala la takhaf najawta mina alqawmi alththalimeena
فَجَآءَتْهُ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا تَمْشِى عَلَى ٱسْتِحْيَآءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِى يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُۥ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ ٱلْقَو
Said one of the (damsels): "O my (dear) father! engage him on wages: truly the best of men for thee to employ is the (man) who is strong and trusty"....
সেই দুই নারীর একজন বললো: ‘আব্বু! তুমি তাকে কর্মচারী নিযুক্ত করো, তোমার কর্মচারী হিসেবে উত্তম হবেন তো এমন ব্যক্তি যিনি শক্তিশালী এবং বিশ্বস্ত।’
Qalat ihdahuma ya abati istajirhu inna khayra mani istajarta alqawiyyu alameenu
قَالَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱسْتَـْٔجِرْهُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ مَنِ ٱسْتَـْٔجَرْتَ ٱلْقَوِىُّ ٱلْأَمِينُ
He said: "I intend to wed one of these my daughters to thee, on condition that thou serve me for eight years; but if thou complete ten years, it will be (grace) from thee. But I intend not to place thee under a difficulty: thou wilt find me, indeed, if Allah wills, one of the righteous."
সে মূসাকে বললো: ‘শুনো, আমি আমার এই দুই কন্যার একজনকে তোমার সাথে বিয়ে দিতে চাই এই শর্তে যে, তুমি আট বছর আমার চাকুরি করবে, তবে দশ বছর যদি পূর্ণ করতে চাও সেটা তোমার ইচ্ছা। আমি তোমাকে কষ্ট দিতে চাইনা। চান তো, তুমি আমাকে ন্যায়বান পাবে।’
Qala innee oreedu an onkihaka ihda ibnatayya hatayni AAala an tajuranee thamaniya hijajin fain atmamta AAashran famin AAindika wama oreedu an ashuqqa AAalayka satajidunee in shaa Allahu mina alssaliheena
قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنكِحَكَ إِحْدَى ٱبْنَتَىَّ هَٰتَيْنِ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَأْجُرَنِى ثَمَٰنِىَ حِجَجٍ فَإِنْ أَتْمَمْتَ عَشْرًا فَمِنْ عِندِكَ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَيْكَ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَا
He said: "Be that (the agreement) between me and thee: whichever of the two terms I fulfil, let there be no ill - will to me. Be Allah a witness to what we say."
মূসা বললো: ‘আমার এবং আপনার মাঝে এই চুক্তিই হলো। এ দুটি মেয়াদের যে কোনো একটি পূর্ণ করলে আমার বিরুদ্ধে কোনো অভিযোগ থাকবেনা। আমরা যা বলছি তার সাক্ষী।’
Qala thalika baynee wabaynaka ayyama alajalayni qadaytu fala AAudwana AAalayya waAllahu AAala ma naqoolu wakeelun
قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكَ أَيَّمَا ٱلْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَٰنَ عَلَىَّ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ
Now when Moses had fulfilled the term, and was travelling with his family, he perceived a fire in the direction of Mount Tur. He said to his family: "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; I hope to bring you from there some information, or a burning firebrand, that ye may warm yourselves."
মূসা যখন নির্ধারিত মেয়াদ পূর্ণ করলো এবং সপরিবারে যাত্রা করলো, তুর পাহাড়ের কাছে এসে পাহাড়ের দিকে আগুন দেখতে পেলো। সে তার পরিবারবর্গকে বললো: তোমরা এখানে অপেক্ষা করো, আমি আগুন দেখেছি, হয়তো সেখান থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে কোনো খবর নিয়ে আসবো কিংবা নিয়ে আসবো এক খন্ড জ্বলন্ত কাঠ, তাতে তোমরা আগুন পোহাতে পারবে।’
Falamma qada moosaalajala wasara biahlihi anasa min janibi alttoori naran qala liahlihi omkuthoo innee anastu naran laAAallee ateekum minha bikhabarin aw jathwatin mina alnnari laAAallakum tastaloona
فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلْأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهْلِهِۦٓ ءَانَسَ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ نَارًا قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ ٱمْكُثُوٓا۟ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ جَذْوَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنّ
But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard from the right bank of the valley, from a tree in hallowed ground: "O Moses! Verily I am Allah, the Lord of the Worlds....
মূসা যখন আগুনের দিকে এলো, তখন (তোয়া) উপত্যকার ডান পাশে পবিত্র ভূমির এক গাছের দিক থেকে তাকে ডেকে বলা হলো: ‘হে মূসা! আমি রাব্বুল আলামিন।’
Falamma ataha noodiya min shatii alwadi alaymani fee albuqAAati almubarakati mina alshshajarati an ya moosa innee ana Allahu rabbu alAAalameena
فَلَمَّآ أَتَىٰهَا نُودِىَ مِن شَٰطِئِ ٱلْوَادِ ٱلْأَيْمَنِ فِى ٱلْبُقْعَةِ ٱلْمُبَٰرَكَةِ مِنَ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ أَن يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
"Now do thou throw thy rod!" but when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: O Moses!" (It was said), "Draw near, and fear not: for thou art of those who are secure.
তাকে আরো বলা হলো: ‘তোমার লাঠি নিক্ষেপ করো।’ তারপর মূসা যখন দেখলো, সেটা সাপের মতো ছুটাছুটি করছে, তখন সে পিছে ফিরে দৌড়াতে থাকলো এবং পেছনে ফিরে তাকিয়েও দেখলোনা। তাকে ডেকে বলা হলো: ‘‘হে মূসা! সামনে ফিরে আসো, ভয় পেয়োনা, তুমি নিরাপদ।
Waan alqi AAasaka falamma raaha tahtazzu kaannaha jannun walla mudbiran walam yuAAaqqib ya moosa aqbil wala takhaf innaka mina alamineena
وَأَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَقْبِلْ وَلَا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْءَامِنِينَ
"Move thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm), and draw thy hand close to thy side (to guard) against fear. Those are the two credentials from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his Chiefs: for truly they are a people rebellious and wicked."
তোমার হাত তোমার বগলে রাখো, দেখবে সেটি অনাবিল উজ্জ্বল হয়ে বেরিয়ে আসবে কোনো প্রকার ক্ষতি ছাড়াই। ভয় দূর করার জন্য তোমার দুই হাত তোমার বুকে চেপে ধরো। এ দুটি তোমার প্রভুর দেয়া প্রমাণ ফেরাউন আর তার পারিষদবর্গের জন্যে। তারা একটি ফাসিক কওম।’’
Osluk yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaa min ghayri sooin waodmum ilayka janahaka mina alrrahbi fathanika burhanani min rabbika ila firAAawna wamalaihi innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena
ٱسْلُكْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ وَٱضْمُمْ إِلَيْكَ جَنَاحَكَ مِنَ ٱلرَّهْبِ فَذَٰنِكَ بُرْهَٰنَانِ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦٓ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا
He said: "O my Lord! I have slain a man among them, and I fear lest they slay me.
মূসা বললো: ‘‘আমার প্রভু! আমি তাদের এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করে ফেলেছিলাম, তাই আমি আশংকা করছি তারা আমাকে হত্যা করবে।
Qala rabbi innee qataltu minhum nafsan faakhafu an yaqtulooni
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى قَتَلْتُ مِنْهُمْ نَفْسًا فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ
"And my brother Aaron - He is more eloquent in speech than I: so send him with me as a helper, to confirm (and strengthen) me: for I fear that they may accuse me of falsehood."
আমার ভাই হারূণ, সে আমার চাইতে ভালো বক্তা, তুমি তাকে আমার সাথে সাহায্যকারী হিসেবে রসূল বানিয়ে দাও। সে আমার সত্যায়ন করবে। আমার আশংকা হয় তারা আমাকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করবে।’’
Waakhee haroonu huwa afsahu minnee lisanan faarsilhu maAAiya ridan yusaddiqunee innee akhafu an yukaththibooni
وَأَخِى هَٰرُونُ هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّى لِسَانًا فَأَرْسِلْهُ مَعِىَ رِدْءًا يُصَدِّقُنِىٓ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ
He said: "We will certainly strengthen thy arm through thy brother, and invest you both with authority, so they shall not be able to touch you: with Our Sign shall ye triumph, - you two as well as those who follow you."
বললেন: ‘‘আমরা তোমার ভাইকে দিয়ে তোমার হাতকে শক্তিশালী করবো এবং তোমাদের দুজনকেই আমরা সনদগত ক্ষমতা প্রদান করবো। ফলে তারা (তোমাদের ক্ষতির উদ্দেশ্যে) তোমাদের কাছেই পৌঁছাতে পারবেনা। তোমরা এবং তোমাদের অনুসারীরাই আমাদের নিদর্শনের সাহায্যে বিজয়ী হবে।’’
Qala sanashuddu AAadudaka biakheeka wanajAAalu lakuma sultanan fala yasiloona ilaykuma biayatina antuma wamani ittabaAAakuma alghaliboona
قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطَٰنًا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيْكُمَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أَنتُمَا وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكُمَا ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
When Moses came to them with Our clear signs, they said: "This is nothing but sorcery faked up: never did we head the like among our fathers of old!"
মূসা যখন তাদের কাছে আমাদের সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসমূহ নিয়ে উপস্থিত হলো, তারা বললো: ‘এ - তো এক মিথ্যা - ম্যাজিক ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়। এ ধরনের কথা আমাদের বাপ - দাদাদের কালেও আমরা শুনিনি।’
Falamma jaahum moosa biayatina bayyinatin qaloo ma hatha illa sihrun muftaran wama samiAAna bihatha fee abaina alawwaleena
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ قَالُوا۟ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّفْتَرًى وَمَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِىٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Moses said: "My Lord knows best who it is that comes with guidance from Him and whose end will be best in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong - doers will not prosper."
মূসা বললো: ‘আমার প্রভুই অধিক জানেন কে তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে হিদায়াত নিয়ে এসেছে এবং কার শেষ পরিণাম শুভ হবে। নিশ্চয়ই কখনো সফল হবেনা যালিমরা।’
Waqala moosa rabbee aAAlamu biman jaa bialhuda min AAindihi waman takoonu lahu AAaqibatu alddari innahu la yuflihu alththalimoona
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن جَآءَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ مِنْ عِندِهِۦ وَمَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
Pharaoh said: "O Chiefs! no god do I know for you but myself: therefore, O Haman! light me a (kiln to bake bricks) out of clay, and build me a lofty palace, that I may mount up to the god of Moses: but as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!"
ফেরাউন বললো: ‘হে আমার পারিষদবর্গ! আমি ছাড়া তোমাদের আর কোনো আছে বলে তো আমি জানিনা। হে হামান! তুমি আমার জন্যে ইট পোড়াও এবং উঁচু এক প্রাসাদ তৈরি করো। হয়তো আমি তাতে উঠে মূসার ইলাহকে দেখতে পাবো। তবে আমি মনে করি সে মিথ্যাবাদী।’
Waqala firAAawnu ya ayyuha almalao ma AAalimtu lakum min ilahin ghayree faawqid lee ya hamanu AAala altteeni faijAAal lee sarhan laAAallee attaliAAu ila ilahi moosa wainnee laathunnuhu mina alkathibeena
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرِى فَأَوْقِدْ لِى يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجْعَل لِّى صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُ
And he was arrogant and insolent in the land, beyond reason, - He and his hosts: they thought that they would not have to return to Us!
সে এবং তার বাহিনী অন্যায়ভাবে দেশে অহংকার করে। তারা ধারণা করেছিল তাদেরকে আমাদের কাছে ফিরিয়ে আনা হবেনা।
Waistakbara huwa wajunooduhu fee alardi bighayri alhaqqi wathannoo annahum ilayna la yurjaAAoona
وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا يُرْجَعُونَ
So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong!
তারপর আমরা পাকড়াও করি তাকে এবং তার বাহিনীকে এবং তাদের নিক্ষেপ করি দরিয়ায়। দেখো, কী (মন্দ) পরিণতি হয়েছিল যালিমদের!
Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu alththalimeena
فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
And we made them (but) leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find.
আমরা তাদের বানিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম জাহান্নামের দিকে আহবান করার ইমাম (নেতা)। কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের কোনো সাহায্য করা হবেনা।
WajaAAalnahum aimmatan yadAAoona ila alnnari wayawma alqiyamati la yunsaroona
وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ لَا يُنصَرُونَ
in this world We made a curse to follow them and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the loathed (and despised).
এ দুনিয়ায় আমরা তাদের অনুগামী করে দিয়েছি লা’নত আর কিয়ামতের দিন তারা হবে ঘৃণিত।
WaatbaAAnahum fee hathihi alddunya laAAnatan wayawma alqiyamati hum mina almaqbooheena
وَأَتْبَعْنَٰهُمْ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ هُم مِّنَ ٱلْمَقْبُوحِينَ
We did reveal to Moses the Book after We had destroyed the earlier generations, (to give) Insight to men, and guidance and Mercy, that they might receive admonition.
আগেকার বহু মানব প্রজন্মকে হালাক করে দেয়ার পর আমরা মূসাকে দিয়েছিলাম কিতাব মানুষের জন্যে জ্ঞানের আলো, হিদায়াত এবং রহমত হিসেবে, যাতে করে তারা শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে।
Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba min baAAdi ma ahlakna alquroona aloola basaira lilnnasi wahudan warahmatan laAAallahum yatathakkaroona
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْقُرُونَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ بَصَآئِرَ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Thou wast not on the Western side when We decreed the Commission to Moses, nor wast thou a witness (of those events).
(হে মুহাম্মদ!) তুমি (তুর পাহাড়ের) পশ্চিম প্রান্তে উপস্থিত ছিলেনা আমরা যখন মূসাকে বিধান দিয়েছিলাম এবং তুমি বিষয়টা নিজের চোখেও দেখোনি।
Wama kunta bijanibi algharbiyyi ith qadayna ila moosa alamra wama kunta mina alshshahideena
وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلْغَرْبِىِّ إِذْ قَضَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلْأَمْرَ وَمَا كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
But We raised up (new) generations, and long were the ages that passed over them; but thou wast not a dweller among the people of Madyan, rehearsing Our Signs to them; but it is We Who send messengers (with inspiration).
বরং আমরা বহু মানব প্রজন্ম সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তাদের উপর বহু যুগ অতিবাহিত হয়ে গেছে। তুমি তো মাদায়েনবাসীদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেনা তাদের কাছে আমাদের আয়াত তিলাওয়াত করার জন্যে। বরং আমরাই ছিলাম সেখানে রসূল প্রেরণকারী।
Walakinna anshana quroonan fatatawala AAalayhimu alAAumuru wama kunta thawiyan fee ahli madyana tatloo AAalayhim ayatina walakinna kunna mursileena
وَلَٰكِنَّآ أَنشَأْنَا قُرُونًا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْعُمُرُ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيًا فِىٓ أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ تَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
Nor wast thou at the side of (the Mountain of) Tur when we called (to Moses). Yet (art thou sent) as Mercy from thy Lord, to give warning to a people to whom no warner had come before thee: in order that they may receive admonition.
আমরা যখন মূসাকে ডেকেছিলাম, তখন তো তুমি তুর পাহাড়ের পাশে উপস্থিত ছিলেনা। বরং এটা (এই অহি) তোমার প্রভুর রহমত যাতে করে তুমি এমন একটি কওমকে সতর্ক করতে পারো, যাদের কাছে তোমার আগে কোনো সতর্ককারী আসেনি, আর তারা যেনো শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে।
Wama kunta bijanibi alttoori ith nadayna walakin rahmatan min rabbika litunthira qawman ma atahum min natheerin min qablika laAAallahum yatathakkaroona
وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ إِذْ نَادَيْنَا وَلَٰكِن رَّحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
If (We had) not (sent thee to the Quraish), - in case a calamity should seize them for (the deeds) that their hands have sent forth, they might say: "Our Lord! why didst Thou not sent us a messenger? We should then have followed Thy Signs and been amongst those who believe!"
রসূল যদি না পাঠাতাম, তাহলে তাদের কর্মকান্ডের জন্যে যদি তাদের কোনো মসিবত আসতো তারা বলতো: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! তুমি কেন আমাদের কাছে একজন রসূল পাঠালেনা? পাঠালে তো আমরা তোমার আয়াতের ইত্তেবা (অনুসরণ) করতে পারতাম এবং আমরা হয়ে যেতাম।’
Walawla an tuseebahum museebatun bima qaddamat aydeehim fayaqooloo rabbana lawla arsalta ilayna rasoolan fanattabiAAa ayatika wanakoona mina almumineena
وَلَوْلَآ أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوْلَآ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
But (now), when the Truth has come to them from Ourselves, they say, "Why are not (Signs) sent to him, like those which were sent to Moses?" Do they not then reject (the Signs) which were formerly sent to Moses? They say: "Two kinds of sorcery, each assisting the other!" And they say: "For us, we reject all (such things)!"
কিন্তু যখন আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে তাদের কাছে সত্য এলো, তারা বললো: ‘মূসাকে যেমন (নিদর্শন) দেয়া হয়েছিল, তাকে সে রকম দেয়া হলো না কেন? কিন্তু মূসাকে যা দেয়া হয়েছিল তা কি তারা অস্বীকার করেনি? তারা বলেছে: ‘(কুরআন ও তাওরাত) দুটিই ম্যাজিক, পরস্পরের সমর্থক। তারা আরো বলেছিল আমরা প্রত্যেকটিই অস্বীকার করি।’
Falamma jaahumu alhaqqu min AAindina qaloo lawla ootiya mithla ma ootiya moosa awalam yakfuroo bima ootiya moosa min qablu qaloo sihrani tathahara waqaloo inna bikullin kafiroona
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُوتِىَ مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ قَالُوا۟ سِحْرَانِ تَظَٰهَرَا وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِكُل
Say: "Then bring ye a Book from Allah, which is a better guide than either of them, that I may follow it! (do), if ye are truthful!"
হে নবী! বলো: ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকো, তবে তোমরাই আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে একখানা কিতাব নিয়ে আসো যেটি এ দুটি (কুরআন ও তাওরাত) থেকে অধিকতর হিদায়াতওয়ালা কিতাব হবে, আমিও সে কিতাবের অনুসরণ করবো।’
Qul fatoo bikitabin min AAindi Allahi huwa ahda minhuma attabiAAhu in kuntum sadiqeena
قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبٍ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمَآ أَتَّبِعْهُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
But if they hearken not to thee, know that they only follow their own lusts: and who is more astray than one who follow his own lusts, devoid of guidance from Allah? for Allah guides not people given to wrong - doing.
তারা যদি তোমার আহবানে সাড়া না দেয়, তবে জেনে রাখো, তারা কেবল নিজেদের খেয়াল খুশিরই ইত্তেবা করে। ঐ ব্যক্তির চাইতে অধিকতর বিপথগামী আর কে আছে, যে আল্লাহর হিদায়াত উপক্ষো করে নিজের খেয়াল খুশির ইত্তেবা করে? নিশ্চয়ই যালিম কওমকে সঠিক পথ দেখাননা।
Fain lam yastajeeboo laka faiAAlam annama yattabiAAoona ahwaahum waman adallu mimmani ittabaAAa hawahu bighayri hudan mina Allahi inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
فَإِن لَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَكَ فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدًى مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Now have We caused the Word to reach them themselves, in order that they may receive admonition.
আমরা তাদের কাছে লাগাতার বাণী পৌঁছে দিয়েছি যাতে করে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
Walaqad wassalna lahumu alqawla laAAallahum yatathakkaroona
وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Those to whom We sent the Book before this, - they do believe in this (revelation):
যাদেরকে আমরা ইতোপূর্বে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, তারা (তাদের কেউ কেউ) এর প্রতি (কুরআনের প্রতি) ঈমান রাখে।
Allatheena ataynahumu alkitaba min qablihi hum bihi yuminoona
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ هُم بِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُونَ
And when it is recited to them, they say: "We believe therein, for it is the Truth from our Lord: indeed we have been Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will) from before this.
তাদের প্রতি যখন এটি (কুরআন) তিলাওয়াত করা হয়, তারা বলে: আমরা এটির প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি, নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে এটি সত্য। আমরা তো পূর্বেও মুসলিমই ছিলাম।
Waitha yutla AAalayhim qaloo amanna bihi innahu alhaqqu min rabbina inna kunna min qablihi muslimeena
وَإِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلِهِۦ مُسْلِمِينَ
Twice will they be given their reward, for that they have persevered, that they avert Evil with Good, and that they spend (in charity) out of what We have given them.
এরাই সেইসব লোক যাদেরকে পুরস্কার দেয়া হবে দুইবার তাদের সবরের কারণে। তারা মন্দের মুকাবেলা করে ভালো দিয়ে এবং তাদেরকে আমরা যে রিযিক দিয়েছি তা থেকে তারা খরচ করে (আল্লাহর পথে)।
Olaika yutawna ajrahum marratayni bima sabaroo wayadraoona bialhasanati alssayyiata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
And when they hear vain talk, they turn away therefrom and say: "To us our deeds, and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not the ignorant."
তারা যখনই অর্থহীন কিছু শুনে তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে চলে যায়। তারা বলে: ‘আমাদের কাজের ফল আমরা পাবো আর তোমাদের কাজের ফল পাবে তোমরা। তোমাদের প্রতি সালাম। আমরা জাহিলদের সাথিত্ব চাইনা।’
Waitha samiAAoo allaghwa aAAradoo AAanhu waqaloo lana aAAmaluna walakum aAAmalukum salamun AAalaykum la nabtaghee aljahileena
وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا۟ ٱللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ لَنَآ أَعْمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِى ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ
It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one, whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.
তুমি যাকে মহব্বত করো, তুমি চাইলেই তাকে হিদায়াত করতে পারবেনা। কিন্তু যাকে চান হিদায়াত করেন। কারা হিদায়াতপ্রাপ্ত সেটা তিনিই ভালো জানেন।
Innaka la tahdee man ahbabta walakinna Allaha yahdee man yashao wahuwa aAAlamu bialmuhtadeena
إِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِى مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
They say: "If we were to follow the guidance with thee, we should be snatched away from our land." Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary, to which are brought as tribute fruits of all kinds, - a provision from Ourselves? but most of them understand not.
তারা বলে: ‘আমরা যদি তোমার সাথে হিদায়াতের পথে চলি, তাহলে আমাদেরকে আমাদের দেশ থেকে উৎখাত করা হবে।’ আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে একটি নিরাপদ হারামে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করিনি, যেখানে সব ধরনের ফল ফলারি আমদানি হয় আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে রিযিক হিসেবে। তবে অধিকাংশ লোকই সত্য জানেনা।
Waqaloo in nattabiAAi alhuda maAAaka nutakhattaf min ardina awalam numakkin lahum haraman aminan yujba ilayhi thamaratu kulli shayin rizqan min ladunna walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِن نَّتَّبِعِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ مَعَكَ نُتَخَطَّفْ مِنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوَلَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّهُمْ حَرَمًا ءَامِنًا يُجْبَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ ثَمَرَٰتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ رِّزْقًا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا
And how many populations We destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty)! now those habitations of theirs, after them, are deserted, - All but a (miserable) few! and We are their heirs!
কতো যে জনপদ আমরা ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি, যেগুলোর অধিবাসীরা নিজেদের সম্পদ ও জীবিকার দম্ভ করে বেড়াতো! এই যে এগুলো তাদের ঘর - বাড়ি, তাদের পরে এগুলোতে লোকজন সামান্যই বসবাস করেছে। আর প্রকৃত ওয়ারিশ তো আমরাই।
Wakam ahlakna min qaryatin batirat maAAeeshataha fatilka masakinuhum lam tuskan min baAAdihim illa qaleelan wakunna nahnu alwaritheena
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍۭ بَطِرَتْ مَعِيشَتَهَا فَتِلْكَ مَسَٰكِنُهُمْ لَمْ تُسْكَن مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا وَكُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
Nor was thy Lord the one to destroy a population until He had sent to its centre a messenger, rehearsing to them Our Signs; nor are We going to destroy a population except when its members practise iniquity.
তোমার রব জনপদসমূহকে ধ্বংস করেন না, যতোক্ষণ না সেগুলোর কেন্দ্রে রসূল পাঠিয়েছেন তাদের প্রতি আমাদের আয়াত তিলাওয়াত করার জন্যে। আমরা যেসব জনপদ ধ্বংস করেছি সেগুলোর অধিবাসীরা ছিলো যালিম।
Wama kana rabbuka muhlika alqura hatta yabAAatha fee ommiha rasoolan yatloo AAalayhim ayatina wama kunna muhlikee alqura illa waahluha thalimoona
وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يَبْعَثَ فِىٓ أُمِّهَا رَسُولًا يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِى ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا وَأَهْلُهَا ظَٰلِمُونَ
The (material) things which ye are given are but the conveniences of this life and the glitter thereof; but that which is with Allah is better and more enduring: will ye not then be wise?
তোমাদের যা কিছু দেয়া হয়েছে সেগুলো তো পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ্য ও সৌন্দর্য। আর আল্লাহর কাছে যা রয়েছে তাই উত্তম ও চিরস্থায়ী। তোমরা কি আকল খাটাবেনা?
Wama ooteetum min shayin famataAAu alhayati alddunya wazeenatuha wama AAinda Allahi khayrun waabqa afala taAAqiloona
وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Are (these two) alike? - one to whom We have made a goodly promise, and who is going to reach its (fulfilment), and one to whom We have given the good things of this life, but who, on the Day of Judgment, is to be among those brought up (for punishment)?
যে ব্যক্তিকে আমরা উত্তম পুরস্কার প্রদানের ওয়াদা দিয়েছি আর সে অবশ্যি সে পুরস্কারের সাক্ষাত লাভ করবে, সে কি ঐ ব্যক্তির সমতুল্য, যাকে আমরা দুনিয়ার জীবনের ভোগের সামগ্রী দিয়েছি, তারপর কিয়ামতের দিন তাকে হাজির করা হবে আসামী হিসেবে?
Afaman waAAadnahu waAAdan hasanan fahuwa laqeehi kaman mattaAAnahu mataAAa alhayati alddunya thumma huwa yawma alqiyamati mina almuhdareena
أَفَمَن وَعَدْنَٰهُ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ لَٰقِيهِ كَمَن مَّتَّعْنَٰهُ مَتَٰعَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ
That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say "Where are my 'partners'? - whom ye imagined (to be such)?"
সেদিন তিনি তাদের ডেকে বলবেন: ‘কোথায় আজ তারা যাদেরকে তোমরা আমার শরিক বলে ধারণা করতে?’
Wayawma yunadeehim fayaqoolu ayna shurakaiya allatheena kuntum tazAAumoona
وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
Those against whom the charge will be proved, will say: "Our Lord! These are the ones whom we led astray: we led them astray, as we were astray ourselves: we free ourselves (from them) in Thy presence: it was not us they worshipped."
যাদের উপর শাস্তির বাণী অবধারিত হবে, তারা বলবে: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! এদেরকে আমরাই বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম, এদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম যেমন আমরা বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছিলাম। আমরা আপনার কাছে এদের দুষ্কর্মের দায়িত্ব থেকে অব্যাহতি চাইছি। তারা তো আমাদের ইবাদত করতোনা।’
Qala allatheena haqqa AAalayhimu alqawlu rabbana haolai allatheena aghwayna aghwaynahum kama ghawayna tabarrana ilayka ma kanoo iyyana yaAAbudoona
قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ رَبَّنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَآ أَغْوَيْنَٰهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا تَبَرَّأْنَآ إِلَيْكَ مَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُونَ
It will be said (to them): "Call upon your 'partners' (for help)": they will call upon them, but they will not listen to them; and they will see the Penalty (before them); (how they will wish) 'if only they had been open to guidance!'
তাদের বলা হবে: তোমরা যাদেরকে আল্লাহর শরিক বানিয়েছিলে তাদের ডাকো, তখন তারা তাদের ডাকবে, কিন্তু তারা তাদের ডাকের জবাব দেবেনা। তারা তখন আযাব দেখতে পাবে। হায়, তারা যদি হিদায়াতের পথ অনুসরণ করতো?
Waqeela odAAoo shurakaakum fadaAAawhum falam yastajeeboo lahum waraawoo alAAathaba law annahum kanoo yahtadoona
وَقِيلَ ٱدْعُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَهُمْ وَرَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَهْتَدُونَ
That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What was the answer ye gave to the messengers?"
সেদিন তাদের ডেকে বলবেন: ‘তোমরা রসূলদের কী জবাব দিয়েছিলে?’
Wayawma yunadeehim fayaqoolu matha ajabtumu almursaleena
وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَآ أَجَبْتُمُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Then the (whole) story that Day will seem obscure to them (like light to the blind) and they will not be able (even) to question each other.
সেদিন সব তথ্য তাদের থেকে বিস্মৃত হয়ে যাবে এবং তারা একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞাসাও করতে পারবেনা।
FaAAamiyat AAalayhimu alanbao yawmaithin fahum la yatasaaloona
فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
But any that (in this life) had repented, believed, and worked righteousness, will have hopes to be among those who achieve salvation.
তবে যে ব্যক্তি তওবা করবে, ঈমান আনবে এবং আমলে সালেহ করবে, আশা করা যায়, সে সফলতা অর্জনকারীদের অন্তরভুক্ত হবে।
Faamma man taba waamana waAAamila salihan faAAasa an yakoona mina almufliheena
فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَعَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْلِحِينَ
Thy Lord does create and choose as He pleases: no choice have they (in the matter): Glory to Allah! and far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)!
তোমার প্রভু যা ইচ্ছা সৃষ্টি করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা মনোনীত করেন, এতে তাদের কোনো হাত নেই। সে সব থেকে পবিত্র ও মহান, যাদের তারা তাঁর সাথে শরিক করছে।
Warabbuka yakhluqu ma yashao wayakhtaru ma kana lahumu alkhiyaratu subhana Allahi wataAAala AAamma yushrikoona
وَرَبُّكَ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيَخْتَارُ مَا كَانَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخِيَرَةُ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
And thy Lord knows all that their hearts conceal and all that they reveal.
তোমার প্রভু জানেন তাদের অন্তর যা গোপন করে এবং যা প্রকাশ করে।
Warabbuka yaAAlamu ma tukinnu sudooruhum wama yuAAlinoona
وَرَبُّكَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
And He is Allah: There is no god but He. To Him be praise, at the first and at the last: for Him is the Command, and to Him shall ye (all) be brought back.
তিনিই , তিনি ছাড়া কোনো নেই। সমস্ত প্রশংসা তাঁর দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে। সার্বভৌমত্ব তাঁরই এবং তাঁর কাছেই ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে তোমাদের।
Wahuwa Allahu la ilaha illa huwa lahu alhamdu fee aloola waalakhirati walahu alhukmu wailayhi turjaAAoona
وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِى ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَلَهُ ٱلْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the night perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you enlightenment? Will ye not then hearken?
হে নবী! বলো: তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছো কি, যদি রাতকে কিয়ামতকাল পর্যন্ত তোমাদের উপর স্থায়ী করে দেন, তবে ছাড়া এমন কোনো আছে কি, যে তোমাদের আলো এনে দেবে? তোমরা কি (উপদেশ) শুনবেনা?
Qul araaytum in jaAAala Allahu AAalaykumu allayla sarmadan ila yawmi alqiyamati man ilahun ghayru Allahi yateekum bidiyain afala tasmaAAoona
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِضِيَآءٍ أَفَلَا تَسْمَعُونَ
Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you a night in which ye can rest? Will ye not then see?
বলো: তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছো কি, যদি দিনকে তোমাদের উপর কিয়ামতকাল পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী করে দেন, তবে কোন্ আছে, যে তোমাদের রাত এনে দেবে যাতে তোমরা বিশ্রাম গ্রহণ করতে পারো? তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখবেনা?
Qul araaytum in jaAAala Allahu AAalaykumu alnnahara sarmadan ila yawmi alqiyamati man ilahun ghayru Allahi yateekum bilaylin taskunoona feehi afala tubsiroona
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلنَّهَارَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِلَيْلٍ تَسْكُنُونَ فِيهِ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
It is out of His Mercy that He has made for you Night and Day, - that ye may rest therein, and that ye may seek of his Grace; - and in order that ye may be grateful.
তিনিই নিজ দয়ায় তোমাদের জন্যে রাত এবং দিন সৃষ্টি করেছেন যাতে তোমরা তাতে বিশ্রাম নিতে পারো এবং যাতে তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহ সন্ধান করতে পারো আর যাতে করে তোমরা তাঁর শোকর আদায় করতে পারো।
Wamin rahmatihi jaAAala lakumu allayla waalnnahara litaskunoo feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona
وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
The Day that He will call on them, He will say: "Where are my 'partners'? whom ye imagined (to be such)?"
সেদিন তিনি তাদের ডেকে বলবেন, তোমরা যাদেরকে আমার শরিক বলে ধারণা করতে তারা এখন কোথায়?
Wayawma yunadeehim fayaqoolu ayna shurakaiya allatheena kuntum tazAAumoona
وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
And from each people shall We draw a witness, and We shall say: "Produce your Proof": then shall they know that the Truth is in Allah (alone), and the (lies) which they invented will leave them in lurch.
আমরা প্রতিটি উম্মত থেকে একজন করে সাক্ষী বের করে আনবো এবং তাদের বলবো: ‘হাজির করো তোমাদের প্রমাণ।’ তখনই তারা জানতে পারবে হবার অধিকার একমাত্র আল্লাহর। আর যাদেরকে তারা (মিথ্যা) বানিয়ে নিয়েছিল তারা সবাই উধাও হয়ে যাবে।
WanazaAAna min kulli ommatin shaheedan faqulna hatoo burhanakum faAAalimoo anna alhaqqa lillahi wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona
وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ
Qarun was doubtless, of the people of Moses; but he acted insolently towards them: such were the treasures We had bestowed on him that their very keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men, behold, his people said to him: "Exult not, for Allah loveth not those who exult (in riches).
কারূণ ছিলো মূসার কওমেরই একজন। সে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করেছিল। তাকে আমরা দান করেছিলাম এমন ধনভান্ডার যার চাবিগুলো বহন করা একদল শক্তিশালী লোকের পক্ষেও ছিলো কষ্টসাধ্য। তার কওম তাকে বলেছিল: ‘‘দম্ভ করোনা, দাম্ভিকদের পছন্দ করেন না।
Inna qaroona kana min qawmi moosa fabagha AAalayhim waataynahu mina alkunoozi ma inna mafatihahu latanooo bialAAusbati olee alquwwati ith qala lahu qawmuhu la tafrah inna Allaha la yuhibbu alfariheena
إِنَّ قَٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْكُنُوزِ مَآ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوٓأُ بِٱلْعُصْبَةِ أُو۟لِى ٱلْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ لَا تَفْرَحْ إِنَّ
"But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the Home of the Hereafter, nor forget thy portion in this world: but do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: for Allah loves not those who do mischief."
তোমাকে যা দিয়েছেন তা দিয়ে আখিরাতের ঘর সন্ধান করো। দুনিয়ায় তোমার দায়িত্বের অংশ ভুলে যেয়োনা। মানুষের প্রতি ইহসান করো, যেভাবে ইহসান করেছেন তোমার প্রতি। দেশে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টির চেষ্টা করোনা। নিশ্চয়ই ফাসাদ সৃষ্টিকারীদের পছন্দ করেননা।’’
Waibtaghi feema ataka Allahu alddara alakhirata wala tansa naseebaka mina alddunya waahsin kama ahsana Allahu ilayka wala tabghi alfasada fee alardi inna Allaha la yuhibbu almufsideena
وَٱبْتَغِ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَأَحْسِن كَمَآ أَحْسَنَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ وَلَا تَبْغِ ٱلْفَسَادَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱل
He said: "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge which I have." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed, before him, (whole) generations, - which were superior to him in strength and greater in the amount (of riches) they had collected? but the wicked are not called (immediately) to account for their sins.
সে বললো: ‘এসব সম্পদ আমি লাভ করেছি আমার বিশেষ জ্ঞানের মাধ্যমে।’ সে কি জানেনা, তার আগেও বহু মানব প্রজন্মকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছেন যারা ছিলো শক্তিতে তার চাইতেও প্রবল এবং তাদের জনসংখ্যাও ছিলো অধিক। অপরাধীদের জিজ্ঞাসা করা হবেনা তারা কী অপরাধ করেছিল?
Qala innama ooteetuhu AAala AAilmin AAindee awalam yaAAlam anna Allaha qad ahlaka min qablihi mina alqurooni man huwa ashaddu minhu quwwatan waaktharu jamAAan wala yusalu AAan thunoobihimu almujrimoona
قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عِندِىٓ أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدْ أَهْلَكَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ مَنْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرُ جَمْعًا وَلَا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذُنُو
So he went forth among his people in the (pride of his wordly) glitter. Said those whose aim is the Life of this World: "Oh! that we had the like of what Qarun has got! for he is truly a lord of mighty good fortune!"
কারূণ তার কওমের লোকদের সামনে উপস্থিত হয়েছিল জাঁকজমকের সাথে। যারা দুনিয়ার হায়াতটাকেই প্রাধান্য দিতো, তখন তারা বলেছিল: ‘হায়, কারূণকে যেসব সম্পদ দেয়া হয়েছে আমাদেরকেও যদি সেসব দেয়া হতো! সে তো বিরাট ভাগ্যবান।’
Fakharaja AAala qawmihi fee zeenatihi qala allatheena yureedoona alhayata alddunya ya layta lana mithla ma ootiya qaroonu innahu lathoo haththin AAatheemin
فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فِى زِينَتِهِۦ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا يَٰلَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ قَٰرُونُ إِنَّهُۥ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
But those who had been granted (true) knowledge said: "Alas for you! The reward of Allah (in the Hereafter) is best for those who believe and work righteousness: but this none shall attain, save those who steadfastly persevere (in good)."
আর যাদেরকে এলেম দেয়া হয়েছিল তারা বলেছিল: ‘ধ্বংস হও তোমরা, যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং আমলে সালেহ করেছে তাদের জন্যে তো আল্লাহর সওয়াবই (পুরস্কারই) সর্বোত্তম। আর তা তো কেবল সবর অবলম্বনকারীরাই লাভ করবে।’
Waqala allatheena ootoo alAAilma waylakum thawabu Allahi khayrun liman amana waAAamila salihan wala yulaqqaha illa alssabiroona
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا وَلَا يُلَقَّىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ
Then We caused the earth to swallow up him and his house; and he had not (the least little) party to help him against Allah, nor could he defend himself.
ফলে আমরা তাকে (কারূণকে) তার ঘর - বাড়ি ও প্রাসাদ - অট্টালিকাসহ দাবিয়ে দিয়েছি মাটির নীচে। তখন তাকে আল্লাহর পাকড়াওর বিরুদ্ধে সাহায্য করার কেউই ছিলনা এবং সে নিজেও আত্মরক্ষায় সমর্থ ছিলনা।
Fakhasafna bihi wabidarihi alarda fama kana lahu min fiatin yansuroonahu min dooni Allahi wama kana mina almuntasireena
فَخَسَفْنَا بِهِۦ وَبِدَارِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ مِن فِئَةٍ يَنصُرُونَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنتَصِرِينَ
And those who had envied his position the day before began to say on the morrow: "Ah! it is indeed Allah Who enlarges the provision or restricts it, to any of His servants He pleases! had it not been that Allah was gracious to us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us up! Ah! those who reject Allah will assuredly never prosper."
গতকালও যারা তার মতো হবার তামান্না (আকাঙ্ক্ষা) করেছিল, তারা বলতে লাগলো: ‘দেখলে তো, তাঁর বান্দাদের যাকে ইচ্ছা রিযিক প্রশস্ত করে দেন, আর যাকে ইচ্ছা সীমিত করে দেন। যদি আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ না করতেন, তবে আমাদেরকে সহই ধ্বসিয়ে দিতেন। দেখলে তো কাফিররা সাফল্য অর্জন করেনা।’
Waasbaha allatheena tamannaw makanahu bialamsi yaqooloona waykaanna Allaha yabsutu alrrizqa liman yashao min AAibadihi wayaqdiru lawla an manna Allahu AAalayna lakhasafa bina waykaannahu la yuflihu alkafiroona
وَأَصْبَحَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوْا۟ مَكَانَهُۥ بِٱلْأَمْسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيْكَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ لَوْلَآ أَن مَّنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا وَيْكَأَنّ
That Home of the Hereafter We shall give to those who intend not high - handedness or mischief on earth: and the end is (best) for the righteous.
আখিরাতের সেই ঘর আমরা তৈরি করে রেখেছি তাদের জন্যে, যারা পৃথিবীতে উদ্ধত হতে চায়না এবং সৃষ্টি করতে চায়না ফাসাদ, আর শুভ পরিণাম তো মুত্তাকিদের জন্যেই।
Tilka alddaru alakhiratu najAAaluha lillatheena la yureedoona AAuluwwan fee alardi wala fasadan waalAAaqibatu lilmuttaqeena
تِلْكَ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَادًا وَٱلْعَٰقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds.
যে কেউ (সেখানে) কোনো ভালো কাজ নিয়ে উপস্থিত হবে, সে তার চাইতে উত্তম প্রতিফল লাভ করবে। আর যে কেউ মন্দ কাজ নিয়ে উপস্থিত হবে, তবে যারাই মন্দ কাজ করেছে তাদেরকে প্রতিদান দেয়া হবে কেবল তাদের আমলের অনুরূপ।
Man jaa bialhasanati falahu khayrun minha waman jaa bialssayyiati fala yujza allatheena AAamiloo alssayyiati illa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
Verily He Who ordained the Qur'an for thee, will bring thee back to the Place of Return. Say: "My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance, and who is in manifest error."
যিনি তোমার প্রতি কুরআনকে বিধান বানিয়ে দিয়েছেন, তিনি অবশ্যি তোমাকে ফেরত আনবেন তোমার জন্মভূমিতে। বলো: ‘আমার প্রভুই অধিক জানেন কে হিদায়াত নিয়ে এসেছে, আর কে রয়েছে সুস্পষ্ট বিপথগামিতায় নিমজ্জিত।’
Inna allathee farada AAalayka alqurana laradduka ila maAAadin qul rabbee aAAlamu man jaa bialhuda waman huwa fee dalalin mubeenin
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِى فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لَرَآدُّكَ إِلَىٰ مَعَادٍ قُل رَّبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَمَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
And thou hadst not expected that the Book would be sent to thee except as a Mercy from thy Lord: Therefore lend not thou support in any way to those who reject (Allah's Message).
তোমার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করা হবে তুমি তো কখনো সেই আশা পোষণ করোনি। এটা তো তোমার প্রভুরই অনুগ্রহ! সুতরাং তুমি কখনো কাফিরদের সাহায্যকারী হয়োনা।
Wama kunta tarjoo an yulqa ilayka alkitabu illa rahmatan min rabbika fala takoonanna thaheeran lilkafireena
وَمَا كُنتَ تَرْجُوٓا۟ أَن يُلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ ظَهِيرًا لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ
And let nothing keep thee back from the Signs of Allah after they have been revealed to thee: and invite (men) to thy Lord, and be not of the company of those who join gods with Allah.
তোমার প্রতি আল্লাহর আয়াত নাযিল হবার পর তারা যেনো তা থেকে তোমাকে কিছুতেই বিরত না রাখতে পারে। তুমি মানুষকে দাওয়াত দাও তোমার প্রভুর দিকে এবং কিছুতেই তুমি মুশরিকদের অন্তরভুক্ত হয়োনা।
Wala yasuddunnaka AAan ayati Allahi baAAda ith onzilat ilayka waodAAu ila rabbika wala takoonanna mina almushrikeena
وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أُنزِلَتْ إِلَيْكَ وَٱدْعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
And call not, besides Allah, on another god. There is no god but He. Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will ye (all) be brought back.
তুমি আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য ডেকোনা। কারণ, তিনি ছাড়া আর কোনো নেই। তাঁর সত্তা ছাড়া প্রতিটি জিনিসই ধ্বংসশীল। সর্বময় ক্ষমতা তাঁরই এবং তোমাদেরকে তাঁরই কাছে ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে।
Wala tadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara la ilaha illa huwa kullu shayin halikun illa wajhahu lahu alhukmu wailayhi turjaAAoona
وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُۥ لَهُ ٱلْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
