Chapter 39, 75 verses
The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom.
এই কিতাব অবতীর্ণ পরাক্রমশালী প্রজ্ঞাময় র নিকট হইতে ।
تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
Verily it is We Who have revealed the Book to thee in Truth: so serve Allah, offering Him sincere devotion.
আমি তোমার নিকট এই কিতাব সত্যসহ অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছি। সুতরাং র ‘ইবাদত কর তাঁহার আনুগত্যে বিশুদ্ধচিত্ত হইয়া।
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَٱعْبُدِ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ
Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.
জানিয়া রাখ, অবিমিশ্র আনুগত্য রই প্রাপ্য। যাহারা র পরিবর্তে অন্যকে অভিভাবকরূপে গ্রহণ করে তাহারা বলে, ‘আমরা তো ইহাদের পূজা এইজন্যই করি যে, ইহারা আমাদেরকে র সানিধ্যে আনিয়া দিবে।’ উহারা যে বিষয়ে নিজেদের মধ্যে মতভেদ করিতেছে তাহার ফয়সালা করিয়া দিবেন। যে মিথ্যাবাদী ও , তাহাকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।
أَلَا لِلَّهِ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْخَالِصُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِى مَا هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْ
Had Allah wished to take to Himself a son, He could have chosen whom He pleased out of those whom He doth create: but Glory be to Him! (He is above such things.) He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible.
সন্তান গ্রহণ করিতে চাহিলে তিনি তাঁহার সৃষ্টির মধ্যে যাহাকে ইচ্ছা বাছিয়া লইতেন। পবিত্র ও মহান তিনি! তিনি , এক, প্রবল পরাক্রমশালী।
لَّوْ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَّٱصْطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He makes the Night overlap the Day, and the Day overlap the Night: He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His law): Each one follows a course for a time appointed. Is not He the Exalted in Power - He Who forgives again and again?
তিনি যথাযথভাবে আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন। তিনি রাত্রি দ্বারা দিবসকে আচ্ছাদিত করেন এবং রাত্রিকে আচ্ছাদিত করেন দিবস দ্বারা। সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে তিনি করিয়াছেন নিয়মাধীন। প্রত্যেকেই পরিক্রমন করে এক নির্দিষ্ট কাল পর্যন্ত। জানিয়া রাখ, তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাশীল।
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ عَلَى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ ٱلنَّهَارَ عَلَى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى أَلَا هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَف
He created you (all) from a single person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and he sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)?
তিনি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন একই ব্যক্তি হইতে। অতঃপর তিনি তাহা হইতে তাহার স্ত্রী সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন। তিনি তোমাদেরকে দিয়াছেন আট প্রকার আন‘আম তথা চতুষ্পদ জন্তু। তিনি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের মাতৃগর্ভের ত্রিবিধ অন্ধকারে পর্যায়ক্রমে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন। তিনিই ; তোমাদের প্রতিপালক; সর্বময় কর্তৃত্ব তাঁহারই; তিনি ব্যতীত কোন ইলাহ্ নাই। তবে তোমরা মুখ ফিরাইয়া কোথায় চলিয়াছ ?
خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزْوَٰجٍ يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِى بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ خَلْقًا مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَلْقٍ فِى ظُلُمَٰتٍ ثَلَ
If ye reject (Allah), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts.
তোমরা অকৃতজ্ঞ হইলে তোমাদের মুখাপেক্ষী নন, তিনি তাঁহার বান্দাদের অকৃতজ্ঞতা পসন্দ করেন না। যদি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হও, তিনি তোমাদের জন্য ইহাই পসন্দ করেন। একের ভার অন্যে বহন করিবে না। অতঃপর তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকট তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন এবং তোমরা যাহা করিতে তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাহা অবহিত করিবেন। অন্তরে যাহা আছে তিনি তাহা সম্যক অবগত।
إِن تَكْفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلْكُفْرَ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا۟ يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
When some trouble toucheth man, he crieth unto his Lord, turning to Him in repentance: but when He bestoweth a favour upon him as from Himself, (man) doth forget what he cried and prayed for before, and he doth set up rivals unto Allah, thus misleading others from Allah's Path. Say, "Enjoy thy blasphemy for a little while: verily thou art (one) of the Companions of the Fire!"
মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ - দৈন্য স্পর্শ করে তখন সে একনিষ্ঠভাবে তাহার প্রতিপালককে ডাকে। পরে যখন তিনি তাহার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেন তখন সে বিস্মৃত হইয়া যায়, তাহার পূর্বে যাহার জন্য সে ডাকিয়াছিল তাঁহাকে এবং সে র সমকক্ষ দাঁড় করায়, অপরকে তাঁহার পথ হইতে বিভ্রান্ত করিবার জন্য। বল, ‘কুফরীর জীবন অবস্থায় তুমি কিছুকাল উপভোগ করিয়া নাও। বস্তুত তুমি জাহান্নামীদের অন্যতম।’
وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ
Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.
যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রির বিভিন্ন যামে সিজ্দাবনত হইয়া ও দাঁড়াইয়া আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করে, আখিরাতকে ভয় করে এবং তাঁহার প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ প্রত্যাশা করে, সে কি তাহার সমান, যে তাহা করে না ? বল, ‘যাহারা জানে এবং যাহারা জানে না, তাহারা কি সমান ?’ বোধশক্তিসম্পন্ন লোকেরাই কেবল উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَآئِمًا يَحْذَرُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوا۟ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِۦ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُو
Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah's earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!"
বল, ‘হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালককে ভয় কর। যাহারা এই দুনিয়াতে কল্যাণকর কাজ করে তাহাদের জন্য আছে কল্যাণ। আর র যমীন প্রশস্ত, ধৈর্যশীল - দেরকে তো অপরিমিত পুরস্কার দেওয়া হইবে।’
قُلْ يَٰعِبَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَأَرْضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٌ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Say: "Verily, I am commanded to serve Allah with sincere devotion;
বল, আমি তো আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি, র আনুগত্যে একনিষ্ঠ হইয়া তাঁহার ‘ইবাদত করিতে;
قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ
"And I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam."
‘আর আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি, আমি যেন আত্মসমর্পণকারীদের অগ্রণী হই।’
وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
Say: "I would, if I disobeyed my Lord, indeed have fear of the Penalty of a Mighty Day."
বল, ‘আমি যদি আমার প্রতিপালকের অবাধ্য হই, তবে আমি ভয় করি মহাদিবসের শাস্তির।’
قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
Say: "It is Allah I serve, with my sincere (and exclusive) devotion:
বল, ‘আমি ‘ইবাদত করি রই তাঁহার প্রতি আমার আনুগত্যকে একনিষ্ঠ রাখিয়া।
قُلِ ٱللَّهَ أَعْبُدُ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُۥ دِينِى
"Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss!
‘আর তোমরা র পরিবর্তে যাহার ইচ্ছা তাহার ‘ইবাদত কর।’ বল, ‘ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত তাহারাই যাহারা কিয়ামতের দিন নিজেদের ও নিজেদের পরিজনবর্গের ক্ষতিসাধন করে। জানিয়া রাখ, ইহাই সুস্পষ্ট ক্ষতি।’
فَٱعْبُدُوا۟ مَا شِئْتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْخُسْرَانُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
They shall have Layers of Fire above them, and Layers (of Fire) below them: with this doth Allah warn off his servants: "O My Servants! then fear ye Me!"
তাহাদের জন্য থাকিবে তাহাদের ঊর্ধ্বদিকে অগ্নির আচ্ছাদন এবং নিম্নদিকেও আচ্ছাদন। এতদ্দ্বারা তাঁহার বান্দাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমরা আমাকে ভয় কর।
لَهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَمِن تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ عِبَادَهُۥ يَٰعِبَادِ فَٱتَّقُونِ
Those who eschew Evil, - and fall not into its worship, - and turn to Allah (in repentance), - for them is Good News: so announce the Good News to My Servants, -
যাহারা তাগূতের পূজা হইতে দূরে থাকে এবং র অভিমুখী হয়, তাহাদের জন্য আছে সুসংবাদ। অতএব সুসংবাদ দাও আমার বান্দাদেরকে -
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱجْتَنَبُوا۟ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ أَن يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ لَهُمُ ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ
Those who listen to the Word, and follow the best (meaning) in it: those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are the ones endued with understanding.
যাহারা মনোযোগ সহকারে কথা শুনে এবং উহার মধ্যে যাহা উত্তম তাহা গ্রহণ করে। উহাদেরকে সৎপথ প্রর্দশন করেন এবং উহারাই বোধশক্তিসম্পন্ন।
ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ ٱلْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُۥٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
Is, then, one against whom the decree of Punishment is justly due (equal to one who eschews Evil)? Wouldst thou, then, deliver one (who is) in the Fire?
যাহার উপর দণ্ডাদেশ অবধারিত হইয়াছে; তুমি কি রক্ষা করিতে পারিবে সেই ব্যক্তিকে, যে জাহান্নামে আছে?
أَفَمَنْ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةُ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ
But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise.
তবে যাহারা তাহাদের প্রতিপালককে ভয় করে, তাহাদের জন্য আছে বহু প্রাসাদ যাহার উপর নির্মিত আরও প্রাসাদ, যাহার পাদদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত; ইহা র ওয়াদা, ওয়াদা খেলাফ করেন না।
لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَّبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ
Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding.
তুমি কি দেখ না, আকাশ হইতে বারি বর্ষণ করেন, অতঃপর উহা ভূমিতে নির্ঝররূপে প্রবাহিত করেন এবং তদ্দ্বারা বিবিধ বর্ণের ফসল উৎপন্ন করেন, অতঃপর ইহা শুকাইয়া যায় ? ফলে তোমরা ইহা পীতবর্ণ দেখিতে পাও, অবশেষে তিনি উহা খড় - কুটায় পরিণত করেন। ইহাতে অবশ্যই উপদেশ রহিয়াছে বোধশক্তিসম্পন্নদের জন্য।
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَسَلَكَهُۥ يَنَٰبِيعَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًا مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ حُط
Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard - hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah! they are manifestly wandering (in error)!
ইসলামের জন্য যাহার বক্ষ উন্মুক্ত করিয়া দিয়াছেন এবং যে তাহার প্রতিপালক - প্রদত্ত আলোতে রহিয়াছে, সে কি তাহার সমান যে এরূপ নয় ? দুর্ভোগ সেই কঠোরহৃদয় ব্যক্তিদের জন্য যাহারা র স্মরণে পরাঙ্মুখ! উহারা স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে আছে।
أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْقَٰسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide.
অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছেন উত্তম বাণী সম্বলিত কিতাব যাহা সুসমঞ্জস এবং যাহা পুনঃ পুনঃ আবৃত্তি করা হয়। ইহাতে, যাহারা তাহাদের প্রতিপালককে ভয় করে, তাহাদের গাত্র রোমাঞ্চিত হয়, অতঃপর তাহাদের দেহমন বিনম্র হইয়া র স্মরণে ঝুঁকিয়া পড়ে। ইহাই র পথনির্দেশ, তিনি উহা দ্বারা যাহাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করেন। যাহাকে বিভ্রান্ত করেন তাহার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নাই।
ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ كِتَٰبًا مُّتَشَٰبِهًا مَّثَانِىَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ
Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face, (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong - doers: "Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!"
যে ব্যক্তি কিয়ামতের দিন তাহার মুখমণ্ডল দ্বারা কঠিন শাস্তি ঠেকাইতে চাইবে, সে কি তাহার মত যে নিরাপদ? জালিমদেরকে বলা হইবে, ‘তোমরা যাহা অর্জন করিতে তাহার শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর।’
أَفَمَن يَتَّقِى بِوَجْهِهِۦ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ ذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
Those before them (also) rejected (revelation), and so the Punishment came to them from directions they did not perceive.
উহাদের পূর্ববর্তিগণও অস্বীকার করিয়াছিল, ফলে শাস্তি এমনভাবে উহাদেরকে গ্রাস করিল যে, উহারা ধারণাও করিতে পারে নাই।
كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
So Allah gave them a taste of humiliation in the present life, but greater is the punishment of the Hereafter, if they only knew!
ফলে উহাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে লাঞ্ছনা ভোগ করাইলেন এবং আখিরাতের শাস্তি তো কঠিনতর। যদি ইহারা জানিত!
فَأَذَاقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخِزْىَ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition.
আমি এই কুরআনে মানুষের জন্য সর্বপ্রকার দৃষ্টান্ত উপস্থিত করিয়াছি, যাহাতে উহারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে,
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِى هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
(It is) a Qur'an in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against Evil.
আরবী ভাষায় এই কুরআন বক্রতামুক্ত, যাহাতে মানুষ সাবধানতা অবলম্বন করে।
قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيْرَ ذِى عِوَجٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
Allah puts forth a Parable a man belonging to many partners at variance with each other, and a man belonging entirely to one master: are those two equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! but most of them have no knowledge.
একটি দৃষ্টান্ত পেশ করিতেছেন : এক ব্যক্তির প্রভু অনেক, যাহারা পরস্পর বিরুদ্ধভাবাপন্ন এবং আর এক ব্যক্তির প্রভু কেবল একজন; এই দুইজনের অবস্থা কি সমান ? প্রশংসা রই প্রাপ্য ; কিন্তু উহাদের অধিকাংশই ইহা জানে না।
ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلًا فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُ مُتَشَٰكِسُونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِّرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Truly thou wilt die (one day), and truly they (too) will die (one day).
তুমি তো মরণশীল এবং উহারাও মরণশীল।
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ
In the end will ye (all), on the Day of Judgment, settle your disputes in the presence of your Lord.
অতঃপর কিয়ামত দিবসে তোমরা তো পরস্পর তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের সম্মুখে বাকবিতণ্ডা করিবে।
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ
Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him; is there not in Hell an abode for blasphemers?
যে ব্যক্তি সম্বন্ধে মিথ্যা বলে এবং সত্য আসিবার পর উহা অস্বীকার করে তাহার অপেক্ষা অধিক আর কে? কাফিরদের আবাসস্থল কি জাহান্নাম নয়?
فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلصِّدْقِ إِذْ جَآءَهُۥٓ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ
And he who brings the Truth and he who confirms (and supports) it - such are the men who do right.
যাহারা সত্য আনিয়াছে এবং যাহারা সত্যকে সত্য বলিয়া মানিয়াছে তাহারাই তো ।
وَٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِٱلصِّدْقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ
They shall have all that they wish for, in the presence of their Lord: such is the reward of those who do good:
ইহাদের বাঞ্ছিত সমস্ত কিছুই আছে ইহাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকট। ইহাই সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের পুরস্কার।
لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
So that Allah will turn off from them (even) the worst in their deeds and give them their reward according to the best of what they have done.
যাহাতে ইহারা যেসব মন্দ কর্ম করিয়াছিল তাহা ক্ষমা করিয়া দেন এবং ইহাদেরকে ইহাদের সৎকর্মের জন্য পুরস্কৃত করেন।
لِيُكَفِّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَسْوَأَ ٱلَّذِى عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَجْزِيَهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
Is not Allah enough for his Servant? But they try to frighten thee with other (gods) besides Him! for such as Allah leaves to stray, there can be no guide.
কি তাঁহার বান্দার জন্য যথেষ্ট নন ? অথচ তাহারা তোমাকে র পরিবর্তে অপরের ভয় দেখায়। যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন তাহার কােন পথপ্রর্দশক নাই।
أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُۥ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
And such as Allah doth guide there can be none to lead astray. Is not Allah Exalted in Power, (Able to enforce His Will), Lord of Retribution?
এবং যাহাকে হিদায়াত করেন তাহার জন্য কোন পথভ্রষ্টকারী নাই; কি পরাক্রমশালী, দণ্ডবিধায়ক নন ?
وَمَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّضِلٍّ أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِعَزِيزٍ ذِى ٱنتِقَامٍ
If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah". Say: "See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah, - can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty? - Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust."
তুমি যদি ইহাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা কর, আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী কে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন? উহারা অবশ্যই বলিবে, ‘।’ বল, ‘তোমরা ভাবিয়া দেখিয়াছ কি, আমার অনিষ্ট চাহিলে তোমরা র পরিবর্তে যাহাদেরকে ডাক তাহারা কি সেই অনিষ্ট দূর করিতে পারিবে ? অথবা তিনি আমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করিতে চাহিলে তাহারা কি সেই অনুগ্রহকে রোধ করিতে পারিবে ?’ বল, ‘আমার পক্ষে ই যথষ্টে।’ নির্ভরকারীগণ রই উপর নির্ভর করে।
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ قُلْ أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَنِىَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَٰشِفَٰتُ ضُرِّهِۦٓ أَوْ أَرَا
Say: "O my People! Do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): but soon will ye know -
বল, ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা স্ব স্ব অবস্থায় কাজ করিতে থাক, আমিও আমার কাজ করিতেছি। শীঘ্রই জানিতে পারিবে -
قُلْ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّى عَٰمِلٌ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
"Who it is to whom comes a Penalty of ignominy, and on whom descends a Penalty that abides."
‘কাহার উপর আসিবে লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তি আর আপতিত হইবে তাহার উপর স্থায়ী শাস্তি।’
مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌ يُخْزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ
Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.
আমি তোমার প্রতি সত্যসহ কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছি মানুষের জন্য; অতঃপর যে সৎপথ অবলম্বন করে সে তাহা করে নিজেরই কল্যাণের জন্য এবং যে বিপথগামী হয় সে তো বিপথগামী হয় নিজেরই ধ্বংসের জন্য এবং তুমি উহাদের তত্বাবধায়ক নও।
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لِلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death; and those that die not (He takes) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He keeps back (from returning to life), but the rest He sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed verily in this are Signs for those who reflect.
ই প্রাণ হরণ করেন জীবসমূহের তাহাদের মৃত্যুর সময় এবং যাহাদের মৃত্যু আসে নাই তাহাদের প্রাণও নিদ্রার সময়। অতঃপর তিনি যাহার জন্য মৃত্যুর সিদ্ধান্ত করেন তাহার প্রাণ তিনি রাখিয়া দেন এবং অপরগুলি ফিরাইয়া দেন, এক নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্য। ইহাতে অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রহিয়াছে চিন্তাশীল সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য।
ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَٱلَّتِى لَمْ تَمُتْ فِى مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ ٱلَّتِى قَضَىٰ عَلَيْهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ
What! Do they take for intercessors others besides Allah? Say: "Even if they have no power whatever and no intelligence?"
তবে কি উহারা ব্যতীত অপরকে সুপারিশকারী ধরিয়াছে ? বল, ‘উহাদের কোন ক্ষমতা না থাকিলেও এবং উহারা না বুঝিলেও ?’
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ شُفَعَآءَ قُلْ أَوَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
Say: "To Allah belongs exclusively (the right to grant) intercession: to Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: In the End, it is to Him that ye shall be brought back."
বল, ‘সকল সুপারিশ রই ইখ্তিয়ারে, আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সর্বময় কর্তৃত্ব রই, অতঃপর তাঁহারই নিকট তোমরা প্রত্যানীত হইবে।’
قُل لِّلَّهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ جَمِيعًا لَّهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
When Allah, the One and Only, is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust and horror; but when (gods) other than He are mentioned, behold, they are filled with joy!
শুধু এক র কথা বলা হইলে যাহারা আখিরাতে বিশ্বাস করে না তাহাদের অন্তর বিতৃষ্ণায় সংকুচিত হয় এবং র পরিবর্তে উপাস্যগুলির উল্লেখ করা হইলে তাহারা আনন্দে উল্লসিত হয়।
وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ ٱشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
Say: "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of all that is hidden and open! it is Thou that wilt judge between Thy Servants in those matters about which they have differed."
বল, ‘হে ! আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর স্রষ্টা, দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের পরিজ্ঞাতা, তোমার বান্দাগণ যে বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ করে, তুমি তাহাদের মধ্যে উহার ফয়সালা করিয়া দিবে।’
قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ عَٰلِمَ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ أَنتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِى مَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
Even if the wrong - doers had all that there is on earth, and as much more, (in vain) would they offer it for ransom from the pain of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment: but something will confront them from Allah, which they could never have counted upon!
যাহারা জুলুম করিয়াছে যদি তাহাদের থাকে, দুনিয়ায় যাহা আছে তাহা সম্পূর্ণ এবং ইহার সমপরিমাণ সম্পদও, তবে কিয়ামতের দিন কঠিন শাস্তি হইতে মুক্তিপণস্বরূপ সেই সকলই তাহারা দিয়া দিবে এবং তাহাদের জন্য র নিকট হইতে এমন কিছু প্রকাশিত হইবে যাহা উহারা কল্পনাও করে নাই।
وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟ بِهِۦ مِن سُوٓءِ ٱلْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَحْتَسِبُونَ
For the evils of their Deeds will confront them, and they will be (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at!
উহাদের কৃতকর্মের মন্দ ফল উহাদের নিকট প্রকাশ হইয়া পড়িবে এবং উহারা যাহা লইয়া ঠাট্টা - বিদ্রপ করিত তাহা উহাদেরকে পরিবেষ্টন করিবে।
وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
Now, when trouble touches man, he cries to Us: But when We bestow a favour upon him as from Ourselves, he says, "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge (I have)!" Nay, but this is but a trial, but most of them understand not!
মানুষকে বিপদ - আপদ স্পর্শ করিলে সে আমাকে আহ্বান করে; অতঃপর যখন আমি আমার কোন নিয়ামত দ্বারা তাহাকে অনুগৃহীত করি তখন সে বলে, ‘আমাকে তো ইহা দেওয়া হইয়াছে আমার জ্ঞানের কারণে।’ বস্তুত ইহা এক পরীক্ষা, কিন্তু উহাদের অধিকাংশই বুঝে না।
فَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعَانَا ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلْنَٰهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنَّا قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍۭ بَلْ هِىَ فِتْنَةٌ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Thus did the (generations) before them say! But all that they did was of no profit to them.
ইহাদের পূর্ববর্তিগণও ইহাই বলিত, কিন্তু উহাদের কৃতকর্ম উহাদের কোন কাজে আসে নাই।
قَدْ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
Nay, the evil results of their Deeds overtook them. And the wrong - doers of this (generation) - the evil results of their Deeds will soon overtake them (too), and they will never be able to frustrate (Our Plan)!
উহাদের কৃতকর্মের মন্দ ফল উহাদের উপর আপতিত হইয়াছে, উহাদের মধ্যে যাহারা জুলুম করে উহাদের উপরও উহাদের কৃতকর্মের মন্দ ফল আপতিত হইবে এবং উহারা ব্যর্থও করিতে পারিবে না।
فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ سَيُصِيبُهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَمَا هُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
Know they not that Allah enlarges the provision or restricts it, for any He pleases? Verily, in this are Signs for those who believe!
ইহারা কি জানে না, যাহার জন্য ইচ্ছা রিযিক প্রশস্ত করেন অথবা যাহার জন্য ইচ্ছা সীমিত করেন? ইহাতে অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রহিয়াছে সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য।
أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft - Forgiving, Most Merciful.
বল, ‘হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমরা যাহারা নিজেদের প্রতি অবিচার করিয়াছ র অনুগ্রহ হইতে নিরাশ হইও না; সমুদয় পাপ ক্ষমা করিয়া দিবেন। তিনি তো ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।’
قُلْ يَٰعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا۟ مِن رَّحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
"Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped.
তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের অভিমুখী হও এবং তাঁহার নিকট আত্মসর্মপণ কর তোমাদের নিকট শাস্তি আসিবার পূর্বে; তৎপর তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করা হইবে না।
وَأَنِيبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ
"And follow the best of (the courses) revealed to you from your Lord, before the Penalty comes on you - of a sudden while ye perceive not! -
অনুসরণ কর তোমাদের প্রতি তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকট হইতে উত্তম যাহা অবতীর্ণ করা হইয়াছে তাহার, তোমাদের উপর অতর্কিতভাবে তোমাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে শাস্তি আসিবার পূর্বে -
وَٱتَّبِعُوٓا۟ أَحْسَنَ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بَغْتَةً وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ
"Lest the soul should (then) say: 'Ah! Woe is me! - In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked!' -
যাহাতে কাহাকেও বলিতে না হয়, ‘হায়! র প্রতি আমার কর্তব্যে আমি যে শৈথিল্য করিয়াছি তাহার জন্য আফসোস! আমি তো ঠাট্টাকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলাম।’
أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَٰحَسْرَتَىٰ عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطتُ فِى جَنۢبِ ٱللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ ٱلسَّٰخِرِينَ
"Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!' -
অথবা কেহ যেন না বলে, আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করিলে আমি তো অবশ্যই মুত্তাকীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হইতাম।’
أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هَدَىٰنِى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
"Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!'
অথবা শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করিলে যেন কাহাকেও বলিতে না হয়, ‘আহা, যদি একবার পৃথিবীতে আমার প্রত্যাবর্তন ঘটিত তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হইতাম!’
أَوْ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى ٱلْعَذَابَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِى كَرَّةً فَأَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
"(The reply will be:) 'Nay, but there came to thee my Signs, and thou didst reject them: thou wast Haughty, and became one of those who reject faith!'"
প্রকৃত ব্যাপার তো এই যে, আমার নিদর্শন তোমার নিকট আসিয়াছিল, কিন্তু তুমি এইগুলিকে মিথ্যা বলিয়াছিলে ও অহংকার করিয়াছিলে; আর তুমি তো ছিলে কাফিরদের একজন।
بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَتْكَ ءَايَٰتِى فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah; - their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty?
যাহারা র প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে, তুমি কিয়ামতের দিন তাহাদের মুখ কালো দেখিবে। উদ্ধতদের আবাসস্থল কি জাহান্নাম নয় ?
وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ تَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم مُّسْوَدَّةٌ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve.
মুত্তাকীদেরকে উদ্ধার করিবেন তাহাদের সাফল্যসহ; তাহাদেরকে অমঙ্গল স্পর্শ করিবে না এবং তাহারা দুঃখিতও হইবে না।
وَيُنَجِّى ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلسُّوٓءُ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Guardian and Disposer of all affairs.
সমস্ত কিছুর স্রষ্টা এবং তিনি সমস্ত কিছুর কর্মবিধায়ক।
ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَكِيلٌ
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: and those who reject the Signs of Allah, - it is they who will be in loss.
আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর কুঞ্জি তাঁহারই নিকট। আর যাহারা র আয়াতকে অস্বীকার করে তাহারাই তো ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
لَّهُۥ مَقَالِيدُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ
Say: "Is it some one other than Allah that ye order me to worship, O ye ignorant ones?"
বল, ‘হে অজ্ঞ ব্যক্তিরা ! তোমরা কি আমাকে ব্যতীত অন্যের ‘ইবাদত করিতে বলিতেছ ?’
قُلْ أَفَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَأْمُرُوٓنِّىٓ أَعْبُدُ أَيُّهَا ٱلْجَٰهِلُونَ
But it has already been revealed to thee, - as it was to those before thee, - "If thou wert to join (gods with Allah), truly fruitless will be thy work (in life), and thou wilt surely be in the ranks of those who lose (all spiritual good)".
তোমার প্রতি ও তোমার পূর্ববর্তীদের প্রতি অবশ্যই ওহী হইয়াছে, ‘তুমি র শরীক স্থির করিলে তোমার কর্ম তো নিষ্ফল হইবে এবং অবশ্যই তুমি হইবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
وَلَقَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ
Nay, but worship Allah, and be of those who give thanks.
‘অতএব তুমি রই ‘ইবাদত কর এবং কৃতজ্ঞ হও।’
بَلِ ٱللَّهَ فَٱعْبُدْ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
No just estimate have they made of Allah, such as is due to Him: On the Day of Judgment the whole of the earth will be but His handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the Partners they attribute to Him!
উহারা র যথোচিত সম্মান করে না। কিয়ামতের দিন সমস্ত পৃথিবী থাকিবে তাঁহার হাতের মুষ্টিতে এবং আকাশমণ্ডলী থাকিবে ভাঁজ করা অবস্থায় তাঁহার দক্ষিণ হস্তে। পবিত্র ও মহান তিনি, উহারা যাহাকে শরীক করে তিনি তাহার ঊর্ধ্বে।
وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦ وَٱلْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ مَطْوِيَّٰتٌۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
The Trumpet will (just) be sounded, when all that are in the heavens and on earth will swoon, except such as it will please Allah (to exempt). Then will a second one be sounded, when, behold, they will be standing and looking on!
এবং শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেওয়া হইবে, ফলে যাহাদেরকে ইচ্ছা করেন তাহারা ব্যতীত আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সকলে মূর্ছিত হইয়া পড়িবে। অতঃপর আবার শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেওয়া হইবে, তৎক্ষণাৎ উহারা দণ্ডায়মান হইয়া তাকাইতে থাকিবে।
وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِيهِ أُخْرَىٰ فَإِذَا هُمْ قِيَامٌ يَنظُرُونَ
And the Earth will shine with the Glory of its Lord: the Record (of Deeds) will be placed (open); the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a just decision pronounced between them; and they will not be wronged (in the least).
বিশ্ব উহার প্রতিপালকের জ্যোতিতে উদ্ভাসিত হইবে, আমলনামা পেশ করা হইবে এবং নবীগণকে ও সাক্ষিগণকে উপস্থিত করা হইবে এবং সকলের মধ্যে ন্যায়বিচার করা হইবে ও তাহাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হইবে না।
وَأَشْرَقَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ وَجِا۟ىٓءَ بِٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
And to every soul will be paid in full (the fruit) of its Deeds; and (Allah) knoweth best all that they do.
প্রত্যেকের কৃতকর্মের পূর্ণ প্রতিফল দেওয়া হইবে। উহারা যাহা করে সে সম্পর্কে সবিশেষ অবহিত।
وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ
The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, "Did not messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?" The answer will be: "True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!"
কাফিরদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে দলে দলে হাঁকাইয়া লইয়া যাওয়া হইবে। যখন উহারা জাহান্নামের নিকট উপস্থিত হইবে তখন ইহার প্রবেশদ্বারগুলি খুলিয়া দেওয়া হইবে এবং জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা উহাদেরকে বলিবে, ‘তোমাদের নিকট কি তোমাদের মধ্য হইতে রাসূল আসে নাই যাহারা তোমাদের নিকট তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের আয়াত আবৃত্তি করিত, এবং এই দিনের সাক্ষাৎ সম্বন্ধে তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করিত?’ উহারা বলিবে, ‘অবশ্যই আসিয়াছিল।’ বস্তুত কাফিরদের প্রতি শাস্তির কথা বাস্তবায়িত হইয়াছে।
وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنذِ
(To them) will be said: "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) Abode of the Arrogant!"
উহাদেরকে বলা হইবে, ‘জাহান্নামের দ্বারসমূহে প্রবেশ কর উহাতে স্থায়িভাবে অবস্থিতির জন্য। কত নিকৃষ্ট উদ্ধতদের আবাসস্থল!’
قِيلَ ٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ أَبْوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds: until behold, they arrive there; its gates will be opened; and its keepers will say: "Peace be upon you! well have ye done! enter ye here, to dwell therein."
যাহারা তাহাদের প্রতিপালককে ভয় করিত তাহাদেরকে দলে দলে জান্নাতের দিকে লইয়া যাওয়া হইবে। যখন তাহারা জান্নাতের নিকট উপস্থিত হইবে ও ইহার দ্বারসমূহ খুলিয়া দেওয়া হইবে এবং জান্নাতের রক্ষীরা তাহাদেরকে বলিবে, ‘তোমাদের প্রতি ‘সালাম’, তোমরা সুখী হও এবং জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর স্থায়িভাবে অবস্থিতির জন্য।’
وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتْ أَبْوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ طِبْتُمْ فَٱدْخُلُوهَا خَٰلِدِينَ
They will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has truly fulfilled His Promise to us, and has given us (this) land in heritage: We can dwell in the Garden as we will: how excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!"
তাহারা প্রবেশ করিয়া বলিবে, ‘প্রশংসা র যিনি আমাদের প্রতি তাঁহার প্রতিশ্রুতি পূর্ণ করিয়াছেন এবং আমাদেরকে অধিকারী করিয়াছেন এই ভূমির; আমরা জান্নাতে যেখানে ইচ্ছা বসবাস করিব।’ সদাচারীদের পুরস্কার কত উত্তম!
وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى صَدَقَنَا وَعْدَهُۥ وَأَوْرَثَنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ نَشَآءُ فَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ
And thou wilt see the angels surrounding the Throne (Divine) on all sides, singing Glory and Praise to their Lord. The Decision between them (at Judgment) will be in (perfect) justice, and the cry (on all sides) will be, "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!"
এবং তুমি ফিরিশ্তাদেরকে দেখিতে পাইবে যে, উহারা ‘আরশের চতুষ্পার্শ্বে ঘিরিয়া উহাদের প্রতিপালকের সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করিতেছে। আর তাহাদের বিচার করা হইবে ন্যায়ের সঙ্গে। বলা হইবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা জগতসমূহের প্রতিপালক র প্রাপ্য।
وَتَرَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ حَآفِّينَ مِنْ حَوْلِ ٱلْعَرْشِ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ وَقِيلَ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
