Yusuf Ali
By the Night as it conceals (the light);
সমকালীন বাংলা
আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, পরম করুণাময় পরম দয়ালু; শপথ রাতের, যখন তা আচ্ছন্ন করে,
Deutsch
Bei der Nacht, wenn sie (alles) überdeckt,
Arabic, with marks
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
Word by word
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
By the Day as it appears in glory;
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবংদিনের, যখন তা আলোকিত হয়,
Deutsch
und dem Tag, wenn er (in seiner Helligkeit) erscheint,
Arabic, with marks
وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
Word by word
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
Yusuf Ali
By (the mystery of) the creation of male and female; -
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং যিনি পুরুষ ও নারী সৃষ্টি করেছেন,
Deutsch
und Dem, Der das Männliche und das Weibliche erschaffen hat!
Arabic, with marks
وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَىٰ
Word by word
وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali
Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse.
সমকালীন বাংলা
নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের কর্মপ্রচেষ্টা বিভিন্ন রকমের,
Deutsch
Euer Bemühen ist wahrlich verschieden.
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
Word by word
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
Yusuf Ali
So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah),
সমকালীন বাংলা
অতএব, যে দান করে এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করে,
Deutsch
Was nun jemanden angeht, der gibt und gottesfürchtig ist
Arabic, with marks
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَاتَّقَىٰ
Word by word
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
And (in all sincerity) testifies to the best, -
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং উত্তম বিষয়কে সত্য মনে করে,
Deutsch
und das Beste für wahr hält,
Arabic, with marks
وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَىٰ
Word by word
وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss.
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাকে আমরা সহজ পথের জন্য সহজ করে দেবো,
Deutsch
so werden Wir ihm den Weg zum Leichteren leicht machen.
Arabic, with marks
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
Word by word
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self - sufficient,
সমকালীন বাংলা
আর যে কৃপণতা করে এবং নিজেকে স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ মনে করে,
Deutsch
Was aber jemanden angeht, der geizt und sich für unbedürftig hält
Arabic, with marks
وَأَمَّا مَن بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَىٰ
Word by word
وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
And gives the lie to the best, -
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং উত্তম বিষয়কে অস্বীকার করে,
Deutsch
und das Beste für Lüge erklärt,
Arabic, with marks
وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَىٰ
Word by word
وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery;
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাকে আমরা কঠিন পথের জন্য সহজ করে দেবো,
Deutsch
so werden Wir ihm den Weg zum Schwereren leicht machen;
Arabic, with marks
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
Word by word
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit).
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং যখন সে পতিত হবে, তার সম্পদ তার কাজে আসবে না,
Deutsch
und was soll sein Besitz ihm nützen, wenn er sich ins Verderben stürzt?
Arabic, with marks
وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰ
Word by word
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali
Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide,
সমকালীন বাংলা
নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের দায়িত্ব পথনির্দেশ দেওয়া,
Deutsch
Uns obliegt wahrlich die Rechtleitung.
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
Word by word
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning.
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং নিশ্চয়ই আমাদেরই রয়েছে পরকাল ও ইহকাল,
Deutsch
Und Uns gehört wahrlich das Jenseits und das Diesseits.

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُولَىٰ
Word by word
وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْءَاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely;
সমকালীন বাংলা
অতএব আমি তোমাদেরকে এক আগুন সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করেছি,
Deutsch
So habe Ich euch gewarnt vor einem Feuer, das lodert,

فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ
Word by word
فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ
Yusuf Ali
None shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones
সমকালীন বাংলা
তাতে অতি হতভাগ্য ছাড়া কেউ প্রবেশ করবে না;
Deutsch
dem nur der Unseligste ausgesetzt sein wird,
Arabic, with marks
لَا يَصْلَاهَا إِلَّا الْأَشْقَى
Word by word
لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى
Yusuf Ali
Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs.
সমকালীন বাংলা
যে অস্বীকার করে এবং মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়;
Deutsch
der (die Botschaft) für Lüge erklärt und sich abkehrt.
Arabic, with marks
الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
Word by word
ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
Yusuf Ali
But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it, -
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং তা থেকে দূরে রাখা হবে সে, যে সর্বাধিক তাকওয়াবান,
Deutsch
Doch davon ferngehalten wird der Gottesfürchtigste werden,
Arabic, with marks
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْأَتْقَى
Word by word
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى
Yusuf Ali
Those who spend their wealth for increase in self - purification,
সমকালীন বাংলা
যে তার সম্পদ দান করে আত্মশুদ্ধির জন্য,
Deutsch
der seinen Besitz hingibt, um sich zu läutern,
Arabic, with marks
الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
Word by word
ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
Yusuf Ali
And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return,
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং কারও প্রতি কোনো প্রতিদান প্রত্যাশা করে না,
Deutsch
und niemand hat bei ihm eine Gunst (anzurechnen), die vergolten werden müßte,
Arabic, with marks
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰ
Word by word
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali
But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High;
সমকালীন বাংলা
কেবল তার মহান প্রতিপালকের সন্তুষ্টির জন্য,
Deutsch
sondern (er handelt) im Trachten nach dem Angesicht seines höchsten Herrn.
Arabic, with marks
إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَىٰ
Word by word
إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali
And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction.
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং নিশ্চয়ই তিনি শীঘ্রই সন্তুষ্ট হবেন।
Deutsch
Und er wird wahrlich zufrieden sein.

وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ

وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ
