পরম দয়ালু, পরম ক্ষমাশীল আল্লাহর নামে; হে মু’মিনগণ ! ও তাঁহার রাসূলের সমক্ষে তোমরা কোন বিষয়ে অগ্রণী হইও না এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় সবকছিু শুননে ও জাননে।
Deutsch
O die ihr glaubt, kommt nicht Allah und Seinem Gesandten zuvor und fürchtet Allah. Gewiß, Allah ist Allhörend und Allwissend.

O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.

হে মু’মিনগণ ! তোমরা নবীর কণ্ঠস্বরের উপর নিজেদের কণ্ঠস্বর উঁচু করিও না এবং নিজেদের মধ্যে যেভাবে উচ্চস্বরে কথা বল তাহার সঙ্গে সেইরূপ উচ্চস্বরে কথা বলিও না, কারণ ইহাতে তোমাদের কর্ম নিষ্ফল হইয়া যাইবে তোমাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে।
Deutsch
O die ihr glaubt, erhebt nicht eure Stimmen über die Stimme des Propheten, und sprecht nicht so laut zu ihm, wie ihr laut zueinander sprecht, auf daß (nicht) eure Werke hinfällig werden, ohne daß ihr merkt.

Those that lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Messenger, - their hearts has Allah tested for piety: for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward.

যাহারা আল্লাহর রাসূলের সম্মুখে নিজেদের কণ্ঠস্বর নিচু করে, তাহাদের অন্তরকে তাক্ওয়ার জন্য পরীক্ষা করিয়া লইয়াছেন। তাহাদের জন্য রহিয়াছে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কার।

Gewiß, diejenigen, die ihre Stimmen bei Allahs Gesandtem mäßigen, das sind diejenigen, deren Herzen Allah auf die Gottesfurcht geprüft hat. Für sie wird es Vergebung und großartigen Lohn geben.

Those who shout out to thee from without the inner apartments - most of them lack understanding.
Gewiß, diejenigen, die dich hinter den (Wänden der) Gemächer rufen, die meisten von ihnen haben keinen Verstand.

If only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but Allah is Oft - Forgiving, Most Merciful.

তুমি বাহির হইয়া উহাদের নিকট আসা পর্যন্তযদি উহারা ধৈর্য ধারণ করিত, তাহাই উহাদের তবে তা - ই তাদরে জন্যে মঙ্গলজনক হত। ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Deutsch
Wenn sie sich gedulden würden, bis du zu ihnen herauskommst, wäre es wahrlich besser für sie. Und Allah ist Allvergebend und Barmherzig.

O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

হে মু’মিনগণ! যদি কোন পাপাচারী তোমাদের নিকট কোন বার্তা আনয়ন করে, তোমরা তাহা পরীক্ষা করিয়া দেখিবে, পাছে অজ্ঞতাবশত তোমরা কোন সম্প্রদায়কে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করিয়া বস, এবং পরে তোমাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্য তোমাদেরকে অনুতপ্ত হইতে হয়।

O die ihr glaubt, wenn ein Frevler zu euch mit einer Kunde kommt, dann schafft Klarheit, damit ihr (nicht einige) Leute in Unwissenheit (mit einer Anschuldigung) trefft und dann über das, was ihr getan habt, Reue empfinden werdet.

And know that among you is Allah's Messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: But Allah has endeared the Faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you Unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness; -

তোমরা জানিয়া রাখ যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে আল্লাহর রাসূল রহিয়াছেন ; তিনি বহু বিষয়ে তোমাদের কথা শুনিলে তোমরাই কষ্ট পাইতে। কিন্তু তোমাদের নিকট ঈমানকে প্রিয় করিয়াছেন এবং উহাকে তোমাদের হৃদয়গ্রাহী করিয়াছেন ; , পাপাচার ও অবাধ্যতাকে করিয়াছেন তোমাদের নিকট অপ্রিয়। উহারাই সৎপথ অবলম্বনকারী,
Deutsch
Und wißt, daß Allahs Gesandter unter euch ist. Wenn er euch in vielen Angelegenheiten gehorchte, würdet ihr wahrlich in Bedrängnis kommen. Aber Allah hat euch den Glauben lieb gemacht und in euren Herzen ausgeschmückt, und Er hat euch den Unglauben, den Frevel und den Ungehorsam verabscheuen lassen. Das sind diejenigen, die besonnen handeln.

A Grace and Favour from Allah; and Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
Dies als Huld und Gunst von Allah. Und Allah ist Allwissend und Allweise.

If two parties among the Believers fall into a quarrel, make ye peace between them: but if one of them transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then fight ye (all) against the one that transgresses until it complies with the command of Allah; but if it complies, then make peace between them with justice, and be fair: for Allah loves those who are fair (and just).

মু’মিনদের দুই দল দ্বন্দে¡ লিপ্ত হইলে তোমরা তাহাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করিয়া দিবে; আর তাহাদের একদল অপর দলের বিরুদ্ধে বাড়াবাড়ি করিলে, যাহারা বাড়াবাড়ি করে তাহাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমরা যুদ্ধ করিবে, যতক্ষণ না তাহারা আল্লাহর নির্দেশের দিকে ফিরিয়া আসে - যদি তাহারা ফিরিয়া আসে তাহাদের মধ্যে ন্যায়ের সঙ্গে ফয়সালা করিবে এবং সুবিচার করিবে।

Und wenn zwei Gruppen von den Gläubigen miteinander kämpfen, so stiftet Frieden zwischen ihnen. Wenn die eine von ihnen gegen die andere widerrechtlich vorgeht, dann kämpft gegen diejenige, die widerrechtlich vorgeht, bis sie zu Allahs Befehl zurückkehrt. Wenn sie zurückkehrt, dann stiftet Frieden zwischen ihnen nach Gerechtigkeit und handelt dabei gerecht. Allah liebt ja die Gerechten.

The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy.

মু’মিনগণ পরস্পর ভাই ভাই ; সুতরাং তোমরা ভ্রাতৃগণের মধ্যে শান্তিস্থাপন কর আর এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যাতে তােমরা অনুগ্রহপ্রাপ্ত হও। ভয় কর, যাহাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহ প্রাপ্ত হও।

Die Gläubigen sind doch Brüder. So stiftet Frieden zwischen euren beiden Brüdern und fürchtet Allah, auf daß ihr Erbarmen finden möget.

O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill - seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.

হে মু’মিনগণ! কোন পুরুষ যেন অপর কোন পুরুষকে উপহাস না করে; কেননা যাহাকে উপহাস করা হয় সে উপহাসকারী অপেক্ষা উত্তম হইতে পারে এবং কোন নারী অপর কোন নারীকেও যেন উপহাস না করে; কেননা যাহাকে উপহাস করা হয় সে উপহাসকারিণী অপেক্ষা উত্তম হইতে পারে। তোমরা একে অপরের প্রতি দোষারোপ করিও না এবং তোমরা একে অপরকে মন্দ নামে ডাকিও না; ঈমানের পর মন্দ নাম অতি মন্দ। যাহারা তওবা না করে তাহারাই ।

O die ihr glaubt, die einen sollen nicht über die anderen spotten, vielleicht sind eben diese besser als sie. Auch sollen nicht Frauen über andere Frauen (spotten), vielleicht sind eben diese besser als sie. Und beleidigt euch nicht gegenseitig durch Gesten und bewerft euch nicht gegenseitig mit (häßlichen) Beinamen. Wie schlimm ist die Bezeichnung "Frevel" nach (der Bezeichnung) "Glaube"! Und wer nicht bereut, das sind die Ungerechten.

O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it... But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft - Returning, Most Merciful.

হে মু’মিনগণ ! তোমরা অধিকাংশ অনুমান হইতে দূরে থাক ; কারণ অনুমান কোন কোন ক্ষেত্রে পাপ। এবং তোমরা একে অপরের গোপনীয় বিষয় সন্ধান করিও না এবং একে অপরের পশ্চাতে নিন্দা করিও না। তোমাদের মধ্যে কি কেহ তাহার মৃত ভ্রাতার গোশত্ খাইতে চাইবে? বস্তুত তোমরা তো ইহাকে ঘৃণ্যই মনে কর। তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর ; তওবা গ্রহণকারী, পরম দয়ালু।

O die ihr glaubt, meidet viel von den Mutmaßungen; gewiß, manche Mutmaßung ist Sünde. Und sucht nicht (andere) auszukundschaften und führt nicht üble Nachrede übereinander. Möchte denn einer von euch gern das Fleisch seines Bruders, wenn er tot sei, essen? Es wäre euch doch zuwider. Fürchtet Allah. Gewiß, Allah ist Reue-Annehmend und Barmherzig.

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

হে মানুষ ! আমি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি এক পুরুষ ও এক নারী হইতে, পরে তোমাদেরকে বিভক্ত করিয়াছি বিভিন্ন জাতি ও গোত্রে, যাহাতে তোমরা একে অপরের সঙ্গে পরিচিত হইতে পার। তোমাদের মধ্যে আল্লাহর নিকট সেই ব্যক্তিই অধিক মর্যাদাসম্পন্ন, যে তোমাদের মধ্যে আল্লাহর নিকট সেই ব্যক্তিই অধিক মর্যাদাসম্পন্ন, যে তোমাদের মধ্যে অধিক । নিশ্চয় সবকিছু জানেন, সমস্ত খবর রাখেন।

O ihr Menschen, Wir haben euch ja von einem männlichen und einem weiblichen Wesen erschaffen, und Wir haben euch zu Völkern und Stämmen gemacht, damit ihr einander kennenlernt. Gewiß, der Geehrteste von euch bei Allah ist der Gottesfürchtigste von euch. Gewiß, Allah ist Allwissend und Allkundig.

The desert Arabs say, "We believe." Say, "Ye have no faith; but ye (only) say, 'We have submitted our wills to Allah,' For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft - Forgiving, Most Merciful."

বেদুঈনরা বলে, ‘আমরা ঈমান আনিলাম।’ বল, ‘তোমরা ঈমান আন নাই’, বরং তোমরা বল, ‘আমরা আত্মসর্মপণ করিয়াছি’ ; কারণ ঈমান এখনও তোমাদের অন্তরে প্রবেশ করে নাই। যদি তোমরা আল্লাহর ও তাঁহার রাসূলের আনুগত্য কর তবে তোমাদের কর্মফল সামান্য পরিমাণও যদি তােমরা ও তাঁর রসূলরে আনুগত্য কর, তবে তা তোমাদের র্কম বন্দিুমাত্রও নস্ফিল করা হবে না। নিশ্চয়, ক্ষমাশীল, পরম মহেরেবান।

Die Wüstenaraber sagen: "Wir glauben." Sag: Ihr glaubt nicht (wirklich), sondern sagt: ,Wir sind Muslime geworden', denn der Glaube ist noch nicht in eure Herzen eingezogen. Wenn ihr aber Allah und Seinem Gesandten gehorcht, verringert Er euch nichts von euren Werken. Gewiß, Allah ist Allvergebend und Barmherzig.

Only those are Believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah: Such are the sincere ones.

Die (wahren) Gläubigen sind ja diejenigen, die an Allah und Seinen Gesandten glauben und hierauf nicht zweifeln und sich mit ihrem Besitz und mit ihrer eigenen Person auf Allahs Weg abmühen. Das sind die Wahrhaftigen.

Say: "What! Will ye instruct Allah about your religion? But Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on earth: He has full knowledge of all things.

Sag: Wollt ihr Allah über eure Religion belehren, wo Allah weiß, was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist? Und Allah weiß über alles Bescheid.

They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere.

উহারা আত্মসর্মপণ করিয়া তোমাকে ধন্য করিয়াছে মনে করে। বল, ‘তোমাদের আত্মসর্মপণ আমাকে ধন্য করিয়াছে মনে করিও না, বরং ঈমানের দিকে পরিচালিত করিয়া তোমাদেরকে ধন্য করিয়াছেন, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও।’

Sie halten es dir als Wohltat vor, daß sie Muslime geworden sind. Sag: Haltet mir nicht eure (Annahme des) Islams als Wohltat vor. Nein! Vielmehr hält Allah euch die Wohltat vor, daß Er euch zum Glauben geleitet hat, wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid.
