In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence.
WaalnnaziAAati gharqan
Bei den mit Heftigkeit Entreißenden
Chapter 79, 46 verses
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence.
WaalnnaziAAati gharqan
Bei den mit Heftigkeit Entreißenden
By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers).
Waalnnashitati nashtan
und den leicht Herausziehenden
And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits).
Waalssabihati sabhan
und den unbeschwert Dahingleitenden,
And by those that press forward as in a race (i.e. the angels or stars or the horses).
Faalssabiqati sabqan
den allem Vorauseilenden,
And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account).
Faalmudabbirati amran
den eine Angelegenheit Regelnden!
On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die).
Yawma tarjufu alrrajifatu
Am Tag, da das Zittern einsetzt
The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be resurrected).
TatbaAAuha alrradifatu
und das nächste hinterherfolgt,
(Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety.
Quloobun yawmaithin wajifatun
(gewisse) Herzen werden an jenem Tag beunruhigt klopfen,
Their eyes will be downcast.
Absaruha khashiAAatun
und ihre Blicke werden demütig sein.
They say: "Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life?
Yaqooloona ainna lamardoodoona fee alhafirati
"Even after we are crumbled bones?"
Aitha kunna AAithaman nakhiratan
Wenn wir zu verrotteten Knochen geworden sind?"
They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!"
Qaloo tilka ithan karratun khasiratun
But it will be only a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)], (See Verse 37:19).
Fainnama hiya zajratun wahidatun
When behold, they find themselves on the surface of the earth alive after their death,
Faitha hum bialssahirati
und sogleich sind sie auf der Oberfläche.
Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)?
Hal ataka hadeethu moosa
Ist zu dir die Geschichte Musas gekommen?
When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa,
Ith nadahu rabbuhu bialwadi almuqaddasi tuwan
Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh); verily he has transgressed all bounds (in crimes, sins, polytheism, disbelief).
Ithhab ila firAAawna innahu tagha
And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)?"
Faqul hal laka ila an tazakka
"And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him?"
Waahdiyaka ila rabbika fatakhsha
Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles).
Faarahu alayata alkubra
Da zeigte er ihm das größte Zeichen.
But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed.
Fakaththaba waAAasa
Then he turned his back, striving (against Allah).
Thumma adbara yasAAa
Then he gathered (his people) and cried aloud,
Fahashara fanada
Saying: "I am your lord, most high."
Faqala ana rabbukumu alaAAla
Er sagte: "Ich bin euer höchster Herr."
So Allah, seized him with punishment for his last and first transgression. [Tafsir At-Tabari]
Faakhathahu Allahu nakala alakhirati waaloola
Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah.
Inna fee thalika laAAibratan liman yakhsha
Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven that He constructed?
Aantum ashaddu khalqan ami alssamao banaha
He raised its height, and has perfected it.
RafaAAa samkaha fasawwaha
Its night He covers with darkness and its forenoon He brings out (with light)
Waaghtasha laylaha waakhraja duhaha
And after that He spread the earth,
Waalarda baAAda thalika dahaha
And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture.
Akhraja minha maaha wamarAAaha
And the mountains He has fixed firmly,
Waaljibala arsaha
(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.
MataAAan lakum walianAAamikum
But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense) -
Faitha jaati alttammatu alkubra
Wenn dann der größte, überwältigende Umsturz kommt,
The Day when man shall remember what he strove for.
And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees.
Waburrizati aljaheemu liman yara
und zum Erscheinen gebracht wird der Höllenbrand für (je)den, der sieht;
Then for him who transgressed all bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah).
Faamma man tagha
was den (denjenigen) angeht, wer das Maß (an Frevel) überschritten
And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts),
Waathara alhayata alddunya
und das diesseitige Leben vorgezogen hat,
Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire;
Fainna aljaheema hiya almawa
But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires and lusts.
Waama man khafa maqama rabbihi wanaha alnnafsa AAani alhawa
Verily, Paradise will be his abode.
Fainna aljannata hiya almawa
They ask you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) about the Hour - when will be its appointed time?
Yasaloonaka AAani alssaAAati ayyana mursaha
You have no knowledge to say anything about it.
Feema anta min thikraha
Was hast du über sie zu erwähnen?
To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof?
Ila rabbika muntahaha
Zu deinem Herrn ist ihr Endziel.
You (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are only a warner for those who fear it,
Innama anta munthiru man yakhshaha
The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning.
Kaannahum yawma yarawnaha lam yalbathoo illa AAashiyyatan aw duhaha
