Chapter 45, 37 verses
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Ha-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ حم
হা-মীম।
The revelation of the Book (this Qur'an) is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
মহাপরাক্রমশালী প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এ কিতাব নাযিলকৃত।
Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers.
إِنَّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
নিশ্চয় আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে মুমিনদের জন্য নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty.
وَفِي خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَابَّةٍ آيَاتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
আর তোমাদের সৃষ্টিতে এবং যে জীব জন্তু ছড়িয়ে রয়েছে তাতে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে সে কওমের জন্য যারা নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে।
And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision (rain) that Allah sends down from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the turning about of the winds (i.e. sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment), are signs for a people who understand.
وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن رِّزْقٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ آيَاتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
আর রাত ও দিনের পরিবর্তনে, আসমান থেকে যে পানি বর্ষণ করেন তারপর তা দ্বারা যমীনকে তার মৃত্যুর পর পুনর্জীবিত করেন তাতে এবং বাতাসের পরিবর্তনে সে কওমের জন্য নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে যারা বোঝে।
These are the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of Allah, which We recite to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) with truth. Then in which speech after Allah and His Ayat will they believe?
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَ اللَّهِ وَآيَاتِهِ يُؤْمِنُونَ
এগুলো আল্লাহর আয়াত, আমি তা যথাযথভাবেই তোমার কাছে তিলাওয়াত করছি। অতএব তারা ও তাঁর আয়াতের পর আর কোন্ কথায় বিশ্বাস করবে?
Woe to every sinful liar
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ
দুর্ভোগ প্রত্যেক চরম মিথ্যুক পাপাচারীর জন্য!
Who hears the Verses of Allah (being) recited to him, yet persists with pride as if he heard them not. So announce to him a painful torment!
يَسْمَعُ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
সে শোনে আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ যা তার সামনে তিলাওয়াত করা হচ্ছে, তারপর সে ঔদ্ধত্যের সাথে অবিচল থাকে, যেন সে তা শুনতে পায়নি। অতএব তুমি তাকে এক যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাবের সুসংবাদ দাও।
And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Qur'an), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment.
وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا شَيْئًا اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
আর যখন সে আমার আয়াতসমূহের কিছু জানতে পারে, তখন সে এটাকে পরিহাসের পাত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করে। এদের জন্য রয়েছে লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক আযাব।
In front of them there is Hell. And that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliya' (protectors, helpers) besides Allah. And theirs will be a great torment.
مِّن وَرَائِهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُم مَّا كَسَبُوا شَيْئًا وَلَا مَا اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
তাদের সামনে রয়েছে জাহান্নাম। তারা যা উপার্জন করেছে অথবা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তারা যাদের অভিভাবক হিসেবে গ্রহণ করেছে, এসব তাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে মহাআযাব।
This (Qur'an) is a guidance. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations) of their Lord, for them there is a painful torment of Rijz (a severe kind of punishment).
هَٰذَا هُدًى ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ
এই (কুরআন) হিদায়াত দানকারী। আর যারা তাদের রবের আয়াতসমূহের সাথে করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে অতিশয় যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব।
Allah, it is He Who has subjected to you the sea, that ships may sail through it by His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may be thankful.
۞ اللَّهُ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
, যিনি সমুদ্রকে তোমাদের কল্যাণে নিয়োজিত করেছেন যাতে তাঁরই আদেশক্রমে তাতে নৌযানসমূহ চলাচল করতে পারে এবং যাতে তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহ সন্ধান করে বেড়াতে পার এবং যাতে তোমরা শোকর আদায় করতে পার।
And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favour and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply.
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
আর যা কিছু রয়েছে আসমানসমূহে এবং যা কিছু রয়েছে যমীনে, তার সবই তিনি তোমাদের অধীন করে দিয়েছেন। চিন্তাশীল কওমের জন্য নিশ্চয় এতে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) to the believers to forgive those who (harm them and) hope not for the Days of Allah (i.e. His Recompense), that He may recompense people, according to what they have earned (i.e. to punish these disbelievers who harm the believers).
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يَغْفِرُوا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ أَيَّامَ اللَّهِ لِيَجْزِيَ قَوْمًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
যারা ঈমান এনেছে তাদেরকে বল, ‘যারা আল্লাহর দিবসসমূহ প্রত্যাশা করে না, এরা যেন তাদের ক্ষমা করে দেয়, যাতে প্রত্যেক কওমকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্য প্রতিদান দিতে পারেন।
Whosoever does a good deed, it is for his ownself, and whosoever does evil, it is against (his ownself). Then to your Lord you will be made to return.
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ
যে সৎকর্ম করে, সে তার নিজের জন্যই তা করে এবং যে মন্দকর্ম করে তা তার উপর বর্তাবে। তারপর তোমরা তোমাদের রবের প্রতি প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
And indeed We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, and the understanding of the Scripture and its laws, and the Prophethood; and provided them with good things, and preferred them above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn of their time, during that period),
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
আর আমি বনী ইসরাঈলকে কিতাব, প্রজ্ঞা ও নবুওয়াত দান করেছিলাম এবং তাদের রিয্ক প্রদান করেছিলাম উত্তম বস্তু থেকে এবং দিয়েছিলাম তাদেরকে সকল সৃষ্টির উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব।
And gave them clear proofs in matters [by revealing to them the Taurat (Torah)]. And they differed not until after the knowledge came to them, through envy among themselves. Verily, Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ.
وَآتَيْنَاهُم بَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ ۖ فَمَا اخْتَلَفُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
আর আমি তাদেরকে দীনের যাবতীয় বিষয়ে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি দিয়েছিলাম। তাদের কাছে জ্ঞান আসার পরও কেবল পারস্পরিক হিংসা-বিদ্বেষবশত তারা মতবিরোধ করেছিল। তারা যে সব বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ করত তোমার রব কিয়ামতের দিনে সে সব বিষয়ে মীমাংসা করে দেবেন।
Then We have put you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) on a (plain) way of (Our) commandment [like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you (i.e. legal ways and laws of the Islamic Monotheism)]. So follow you that (Islamic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (Tafsir At-Tabari).
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
তারপর আমি তোমাকে দীনের এক বিশেষ বিধানের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছি। সুতরাং তুমি তার অনুসরণ কর এবং যারা জানে না তাদের খেয়াল- খুশীর অনুসরণ করো না।
Verily, they can avail you nothing against Allah (if He wants to punish you). Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers) are Auliya' (protectors, helpers) of one another, but Allah is the Wali (Helper, Protector) of the Muttaqun (the pious. See V.2:2).
إِنَّهُمْ لَن يُغْنُوا عَنكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۚ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۖ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
তারা আল্লাহর মুকাবিলায় তোমার কোন কাজে আসবে না। আর নিশ্চয় যালিমরা মূলত একে অপরের বন্ধু এবং মুত্তাকীদের বন্ধু।
This (Qur'an) is a clear insight and evidence for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for people who have Faith with certainty.
هَٰذَا بَصَائِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
এ কুরআন মানবজাতির জন্য আলোকবর্তিকা এবং নিশ্চিত সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য হিদায়াত ও রহমত।
Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgement that they make.
أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَاءً مَّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ ۚ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
যারা দুষ্কর্ম করেছে তারা কি মনে করে যে, জীবন ও মৃত্যুর ক্ষেত্রে আমি তাদেরকে এ সব লোকের সমান গণ্য করব, যারা ঈমান আনে এবং সৎকর্ম করে? তাদের বিচার কতইনা মন্দ!
And Allah has created the heavens and the earth with truth, in order that each person may be recompensed what he has earned, and they will not be wronged.
وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
আর আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনকে যথার্থভাবে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং যাতে প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি সে যা উপার্জন করেছে তদনুযায়ী প্রতিদানপ্রাপ্ত হয়, আর তারা সামান্যতমও যুলমের শিকার না হয়।
Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god)? And Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember?
أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِ غِشَاوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ اللَّهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
তবে তুমি কি তাকে লক্ষ্য করেছ, যে তার প্রবৃত্তিকে আপন বানিয়ে নিয়েছে? তার কাছে জ্ঞান আসার পর তাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছেন এবং তিনি তার কান ও অন্তরে মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন। আর তার চোখের উপর স্থাপন করেছেন আবরণ। অতএব আল্লাহর পর কে তাকে হিদায়াত করবে? তারপরও কি ত
And they say: "There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live and nothing destroys us except Ad-Dahr (time). And they have no knowledge of it: they only conjecture.
وَقَالُوا مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَا إِلَّا الدَّهْرُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ
আর তারা বলে, ‘দুনিয়ার জীবনই আমাদের একমাত্র জীবন। আমরা মরি ও বাঁচি এখানেই। আর কাল-ই কেবল আমাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে।’ বস্তুত এ বিষয়ে তাদের কোন জ্ঞান নেই। তারা শুধু ধারণাই করে।
And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, their argument is no other than that they say: "Bring back our (dead) fathers, if you are truthful!"
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا ائْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
আর তাদের কাছে যখন আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ তিলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন তাদের এ কথা বলা ছাড়া আর কোন যুক্তি থাকে না যে, ‘তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকলে আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের জীবিত করে নিয়ে এসো’।
Say (to them): "Allah gives you life, then causes you to die, then He will assemble you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt. But most of mankind know not."
قُلِ اللَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
বল, ‘আল্লাহই তোমাদের জীবন দেন তারপর তোমাদের মৃত্যু ঘটান। তারপর তিনি তোমাদেরকে কিয়ামতের দিনে একত্র করবেন, যাতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই; কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোকই জানে না।
And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And on the Day that the Hour will be established - on that Day the followers of falsehood (polytheists, disbelievers, worshippers of false deities) shall lose (everything).
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ الْمُبْطِلُونَ
আর আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের মালিকানা আল্লাহরই এবং যেদিন কিয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে সেদিন বাতিলপন্থীরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে।
And you will see each nation humbled to their knees (kneeling): each nation will be called to its Record (of deeds). This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do.
وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً ۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدْعَىٰ إِلَىٰ كِتَابِهَا الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
আর তুমি প্রতিটি জাতিকে দেখবে ভয়ে নতজানু; প্রত্যেক জাতিকে স্বীয় আমলনামার দিকে আহবান করা হবে। (এবং বলা হবে) ‘তোমরা যে আমল করতে আজ তার প্রতিদান দেয়া হবে’।
This Our Record speaks about you with truth. Verily, We were recording what you used to do (i.e. Our angels used to record your deeds).
هَٰذَا كِتَابُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيْكُم بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
‘এটি আমার লেখনী, যা তোমাদের ব্যাপারে সত্য সহকারে কথা বলবে; নিশ্চয় তোমরা যা করতে আমি তা লিখে রাখতাম’।
Then, as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy. That will be the evident success.
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ
অতঃপর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে তাদের রব পরিণামে তাদেরকে স্বীয় রহমতে প্রবেশ করাবেন। এটিই সুস্পষ্ট সাফল্য।
But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): "Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals)."
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ
আর যারা করেছে (তাদেরকে বলা হবে), ‘তোমাদের কাছে কি আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হয়নি? অতঃপর তোমরা অহঙ্কার করেছিলে। আর তোমরা ছিলে এক অপরাধী কওম’।
And when it was said: "Verily, Allah's Promise is the truth, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour," you said: "We know not what is the Hour: we do not think it but as a conjecture, and we have no firm convincing belief (therein)."
وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُم مَّا نَدْرِي مَا السَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ
আর যখন বলা হয়, ‘আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, আর কিয়ামতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই’। তখন তোমরা বলে থাক, ‘আমরা জানি না কিয়ামত কী? আমরা কেবল অনুমান করি এবং আমরা তো দৃঢ় নই।’
And the evil of what they did will appear to them, and that which they used to mock at will completely encircle them.
وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
আর তাদের কৃতকর্মের কুফল তাদের জন্য প্রকাশিত হবে, আর তারা যা নিয়ে বিদ্রূপ করত তা তাদেরকে ঘিরে রাখবে।
And it will be said: "This Day We will forget you as you forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours. And your abode is the Fire, and there is none to help you."
وَقِيلَ الْيَوْمَ نَنسَاكُمْ كَمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ
আর বলা হবে, ‘আজ আমি তোমাদেরকে ছেড়ে যাব যেমন তোমরা তোমাদের এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের বিষয়টি ছেড়ে গিয়েছিলে। আর তোমাদের নিবাস হবে জাহান্নাম এবং তোমাদের কোন সাহায্যকারীও থাকবে না’।
This, because you took the revelations of Allah (this Qur'an) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be returned to the worldly life, (so that they repent to Allah, and beg His Pardon for their sins).
ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۚ فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
এটা এজন্যই যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর আয়াতকে ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রূপের পাত্র বানিয়েছিলে এবং দুনিয়ার জীবন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছিল’। সুতরাং আজ তাদেরকে তা (জাহান্নাম) থেকে বের করা হবে না এবং তাদেরকে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের সুযোগ দেয়া হবে না।
So all the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
فَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبِّ الْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
অতএব আল্লাহরই জন্য সকল প্রশংসা, যিনি আসমানসমূহের রব, যমীনের রব ও সকল সৃষ্টির রব।
And His (Alone) is the Majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
وَلَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
আর আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের সকল অহঙ্কার তাঁর; তিনি মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
