1 Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?

١ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى الْإِنسَانِ حِينٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْئًا مَّذْكُورًا

১ মানুষের উপরে কি দীর্ঘ সময়ের অবকাশ অতিবাহিত হয় নি যখন সে উল্লেখযোগ্য কিছুই ছিল না?

١ هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًٔا مَّذْكُورًا
Saheeh International
2 Indeed, We created man from a sperm - drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.

٢ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا

২ নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছি সংযুক্ত এক শুক্রকীট থেকে, আমরা তাকে শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ করেছি, সেজন্য আমরা তা কে বানিয়েছি শ্রবণশক্তি ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি সম্পন্ন।

٢ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا
Saheeh International
3 Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.

٣ إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا

৩ নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা তাকে পথের নির্দেশ দিয়েছি, - - হয় সে কৃতজ্ঞ হবে, না হয় সে অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে।

Saheeh International
4 Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.

٤ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَلَاسِلَ وَأَغْلَالًا وَسَعِيرًا

৪ আমরা অবশ্য অকৃতজ্ঞদের জন্য তৈরি করেছি শিকল ও বেড়ি, আর জ্বলন্ত আগুন।

٤ إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَٰلًا وَسَعِيرًا
Saheeh International
5 Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,

٥ إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا

৫ নিঃসন্দেহ পুণ্যাত্মারা পান করবে এমন একটি পাত্র থেকে যার মেজাজ হবে কর্পূরের - -

٥ إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا
Saheeh International
6 A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].

٦ عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا

৬ একটি ফোয়ারা - - যা থেকে আল্লাহ্ র বান্দারা পান করবে, তারা এটিকে প্রবাহিত করবে অবিরাম ধারায়।

Saheeh International
7 They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

٧ يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًا

৭ তারা মানত পালন করে, এবং ভয় করে সেই দিনটির যার ধ্বংসলীলা হবে সুদূরপ্রসারী।

8 And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

٨ وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا

৮ আর তারা তাঁর প্রতি প্রেমবশতঃ খাবার খেতে দেয় অভাবগ্রস্তকে ও এতিমকে ও বন্দীকে - -

٨ وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا
Saheeh International
9 [Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.

٩ إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

৯ ''আমরা তোমাদের খেতে দিচ্ছি শুধু আল্লাহ্ র সন্তষ্টিলাভের জন্য, তোমাদের থেকে আমরা কোনো প্রতিদান চাই না, কৃতজ্ঞতাও নয়।

10 Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."

11 So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness

١١ فَوَقَاهُمُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّاهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا

১১ কাজেই আল্লাহ্ তাদের রক্ষা করবেন সেইদিনের অকল্যাণ থেকে এবং তাদের সাক্ষাৎ করাবেন প্রফুল্লতার ও প্রশান্তির সাথে,

١١ فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا
Saheeh International
12 And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments].

١٢ وَجَزَاهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا

১২ আর যেহেতু তারা অধ্যবসায় চালিয়েছিল সেজন্য প্রতিদানে তাদের দেবেন বাগান ও রেশমী পোশাক,

١٢ وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا
Saheeh International
13 [They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold.

١٣ مُّتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ ۖ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا

১৩ তারা সেখানে সমাসীন থাকবে রাজকীয় আসনে, তারা সেখানে দেখতে পাবে না সূর্যোত্তাপ, না কোনো কনকনে ঠান্ডা,

١٣ مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا
Saheeh International
14 And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance.

١٤ وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَالُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا

১৪ আর তাদের সন্নিকটে থাকবে তাদের গাছের ছায়া, আর তাদের থোকা - থোকা ফল থাকবে নত হয়ে নাগালের মধ্যে।

١٤ وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا
Saheeh International
15 And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass],

١٥ وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِآنِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا

১৫ আর তাদের সামনে পরিবেশন করা হবে রূপোর পেয়ালা ও ঝলমলে কাচের পানপাত্র, - -

١٥ وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِـَٔانِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا۠
Saheeh International
16 Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure.

١٦ قَوَارِيرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًا

১৬ চাঁদির তৈরি চক্মকে কাচের মতো, - - তারা তা মেপে নেবে একটি পরিমাপে।

17 And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger

১৭ আর তাদের তাতে পান করানো হবে এমন একটি পাত্র যার মেজাজ হবে আদ্রকের, - -

Saheeh International
18 [From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.

١٨ عَيْنًا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًا

১৮ তার মধ্যের একটি ফোয়ারাতে যার নাম দেয়া হয়েছে সাল্সাবীল।

Saheeh International
19 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.

١٩ ۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا

১৯ আর তাদের প্রদক্ষিণ করবে চিরস্ফুটিত কিশোরগণ, - - তোমরা যখন তাদের দেখবে তাদের তোমরা ভাববে ছড়ানো মুক্তো!

١٩ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا
Saheeh International
20 And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion.

٢٠ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًا

২০ আর যখন তুমি সেখানে চেয়ে দেখবে, তুমি দেখতে পাবে অনুগ্রহ - সামগ্রী ও এক বিশাল রাজ্য।

٢٠ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًا
Saheeh International
21 Upon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink.

٢١ عَالِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ ۖ وَحُلُّوا أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا
জহুরুল হক
২১ তাদের পরিধেয় হবে মিহি সবুজ রেশমের ও পুরু জরির পোশাক, আর তাদের অলংকৃত করানো হবে রূপোর কাঁকন দিয়ে, আর তাদের প্রভু তাদের পান করাবেন এক পবিত্র পানীয়।

٢١ عَٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا
Saheeh International
22 [And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated."

٢٢ إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَاءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا

২২ ''নিঃসন্দেহ এটি হচ্ছে তোমাদের জন্য পুরস্কার, আর তোমাদের প্রচেষ্টা স্বীকৃত হয়েছে।’’

23 Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively.

২৩ নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা - - আমরা স্বয়ং তোমার কাছে এই কুরআান এক অবতারণে অবতীর্ণ করেছি।

٢٣ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًا
Saheeh International
24 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever ].

٢٤ فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ آثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا

২৪ সুতরাং তোমার প্রভুর নির্দেশের জন্য অধ্যবসায় চালিয়ে যাও, আর তাদের মধ্যেকার কোনো পাপিষ্ঠের অথবা সত্যপ্রত্যাখ্যান - কারীর আজ্ঞা পালন করো না।

٢٤ فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ ءَاثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا

25 And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening

٢٥ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

২৫ আর তোমার প্রভুর নাম কীর্তন করো সকালে ও বিকেলে,

Saheeh International
26 And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night.

٢٦ وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا

২৬ আর রাতের থেকে তাঁর প্রতি সিজদা করো, আর লন্বা রাত পর্যন্ত তাঁর গুণগান করো।

٢٦ وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا
Saheeh International
27 Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day.

٢٧ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ يُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَاءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا

২৭ নিঃসন্দেহ এরা ভালবাসে অস্থায়ী জীবন, আর অবহেলা করে এদের সামনের এক কঠিন দিনকে।

٢٧ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا
Saheeh International
28 We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.

٢٨ نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا

২৮ আমরাই তাদের সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং মজবুত করেছি তাদের গঠন, কাজেই যখন আমরা চাইব তখন তাদের অনুরূপদের আমরা বদলে দেবো আমূল পরিবর্তনে।

٢٨ نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا
Saheeh International
29 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.

٢٩ إِنَّ هَٰذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۖ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا

২৯ নিঃসন্দেহ এটি এক স্মরণীয় বার্তা, সুতরাং যে ইচ্ছা করে সে তার প্রভুর দিকে পথ ধরুক।

٢٩ إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا
Saheeh International
30 And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

٣٠ وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

৩০ আর তোমরা চাও না আল্লাহ্ র চাওয়া ব্যতিরেকে। নিঃসন্দেহ আল্লাহ্ হচ্ছেন সর্বজ্ঞাতা, পরমজ্ঞানী।

٣٠ وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا
Saheeh International
31 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.

٣١ يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ وَالظَّالِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

৩১ তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন তাকে তাঁর অনুগ্রহের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করান। কিন্ত অন্যায়কারীরা - - তাদের জন্য তিনি তৈরি করেছেন মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি।
