Saheeh International

Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?

Arabic, with marks

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى الْإِنسَانِ حِينٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْئًا مَّذْكُورًا

জহুরুল হক

মানুষের উপরে কি দীর্ঘ সময়ের অবকাশ অতিবাহিত হয় নি যখন সে উল্লেখযোগ্য কিছুই ছিল না?

Saheeh International

Indeed, We created man from a sperm - drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.

إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছি সংযুক্ত এক শুক্রকীট থেকে, আমরা তাকে শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ করেছি, সেজন্য আমরা তা কে বানিয়েছি শ্রবণশক্তি ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি সম্পন্ন।

Saheeh International

Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا

জহুরুল হক

নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা তাকে পথের নির্দেশ দিয়েছি, - - হয় সে কৃতজ্ঞ হবে, না হয় সে অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে।

Saheeh International

Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَلَاسِلَ وَأَغْلَالًا وَسَعِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

আমরা অবশ্য অকৃতজ্ঞদের জন্য তৈরি করেছি শিকল ও বেড়ি, আর জ্বলন্ত আগুন।

Saheeh International

Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا

জহুরুল হক

নিঃসন্দেহ পুণ্যা‌ত্মারা পান করবে এমন একটি পাত্র থেকে যার মেজাজ হবে কর্পূরের - -

Saheeh International

A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].

عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

একটি ফোয়ারা - - যা থেকে ‌র বান্দারা পান করবে, তারা এটিকে প্রবাহিত করবে অবিরাম ধারায়।

Saheeh International

They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

Arabic, with marks

يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

তারা মানত পালন করে, এবং ভয় করে সেই দিনটির যার ধ্বংসলীলা হবে সুদূরপ্রসারী।

Saheeh International

And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

Arabic, with marks

وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

আর তারা তাঁর প্রতি প্রেমবশতঃ খাবার খেতে দেয় অভাবগ্রস্তকে ও এতিমকে ও বন্দীকে - -

Saheeh International

[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

জহুরুল হক

''আমরা তোমাদের খেতে দিচ্ছি শুধু ‌র সন্তষ্টিলাভের জন্য, তোমাদের থেকে আমরা কোনো প্রতিদান চাই না, কৃতজ্ঞতাও নয়।

Saheeh International

Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

''আমরা আলবৎ আমাদের প্রভুর নিকট থেকে এক ভীতিপ্রদ বিপদসংকুল দিনের ভয় করি।’’

Saheeh International

So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness

Arabic, with marks

فَوَقَاهُمُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّاهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا

জহুরুল হক

কাজেই তাদের রক্ষা করবেন সেইদিনের অকল্যাণ থেকে এবং তাদের সাক্ষাৎ করাবেন প্রফুল্লতার ও প্রশান্তির সাথে,

Saheeh International

And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments].

Arabic, with marks

وَجَزَاهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

আর যেহেতু তারা অধ্যবসায় চালিয়েছিল সেজন্য প্রতিদানে তাদের দেবেন বাগান ও রেশমী পোশাক,

Saheeh International

[They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold.

مُّتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ ۖ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

তারা সেখানে সমাসীন থাকবে রাজকীয় আসনে, তারা সেখানে দেখতে পাবে না সূর্যোত্তাপ, না কোনো কনকনে ঠান্ডা,

Saheeh International

And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance.

وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَالُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

আর তাদের সন্নিকটে থাকবে তাদের গাছের ছায়া, আর তাদের থোকা - থোকা ফল থাকবে নত হয়ে নাগালের মধ্যে।

Saheeh International

And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass],

وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِآنِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا

জহুরুল হক

আর তাদের সামনে পরিবেশন করা হবে রূপোর পেয়ালা ও ঝলমলে কাচের পানপাত্র, - -

Saheeh International

Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure.

Arabic, with marks

قَوَارِيرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

চাঁদির তৈরি চক্‌মকে কাচের মতো, - - তারা তা মেপে নেবে একটি পরিমাপে।

Saheeh International

And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger

Arabic, with marks

وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

আর তাদের তাতে পান করানো হবে এমন একটি পাত্র যার মেজাজ হবে আদ্রকের, - -

Saheeh International

[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.

Arabic, with marks

عَيْنًا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

তার মধ্যের একটি ফোয়ারাতে যার নাম দেয়া হয়েছে সাল্‌সাবীল।

Saheeh International

There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.

Arabic, with marks

۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا

জহুরুল হক

আর তাদের প্রদক্ষিণ করবে চিরস্ফুটিত কিশোরগণ, - - তোমরা যখন তাদের দেখবে তাদের তোমরা ভাববে ছড়ানো মুক্তো!

Saheeh International

And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion.

Arabic, with marks

وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًا

জহুরুল হক

আর যখন তুমি সেখানে চেয়ে দেখবে, তুমি দেখতে পাবে অনুগ্রহ - সামগ্রী ও এক বিশাল রাজ্য।

Saheeh International

Upon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink.

عَالِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ ۖ وَحُلُّوا أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا

জহুরুল হক

তাদের পরিধেয় হবে মিহি সবুজ রেশমের ও পুরু জরির পোশাক, আর তাদের অলংকৃত করানো হবে রূপোর কাঁকন দিয়ে, আর তাদের প্রভু তাদের পান করাবেন এক পবিত্র পানীয়।

Saheeh International

[And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated."

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَاءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا

জহুরুল হক

''নিঃসন্দেহ এটি হচ্ছে তোমাদের জন্য পুরস্কার, আর তোমাদের প্রচেষ্টা স্বীকৃত হয়েছে।’’

Saheeh International

Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively.

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ تَنزِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা - - আমরা স্বয়ং তোমার কাছে এই কুরআান এক অবতারণে অবতীর্ণ করেছি।

Saheeh International

So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [].

Arabic, with marks

فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ آثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا

জহুরুল হক

সুতরাং তোমার প্রভুর নির্দেশের জন্য অধ্যবসায় চালিয়ে যাও, আর তাদের মধ্যেকার কোনো পাপিষ্ঠের অথবা সত্যপ্রত্যাখ্যান - কারীর আজ্ঞা পালন করো না।

Saheeh International

And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening

Arabic, with marks

وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

আর তোমার প্রভুর নাম কীর্তন করো সকালে ও বিকেলে,

Saheeh International

And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night.

Arabic, with marks

وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

আর রাতের থেকে তাঁর প্রতি সিজদা করো, আর লন্বা রাত পর্যন্ত তাঁর গুণগান করো।

Saheeh International

Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day.

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ يُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَاءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

নিঃসন্দেহ এরা ভালবাসে অস্থায়ী জীবন, আর অবহেলা করে এদের সামনের এক কঠিন দিনকে।

Saheeh International

We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.

Arabic, with marks

نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

আমরাই তাদের সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং মজবুত করেছি তাদের গঠন, কাজেই যখন আমরা চাইব তখন তাদের অনুরূপদের আমরা বদলে দেবো আমূল পরিবর্তনে।

Saheeh International

Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.

Arabic, with marks

إِنَّ هَٰذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۖ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا

জহুরুল হক

নিঃসন্দেহ এটি এক স্মরণীয় বার্তা, সুতরাং যে ইচ্ছা করে সে তার প্রভুর দিকে পথ ধরুক।

Saheeh International

And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

Arabic, with marks

وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

জহুরুল হক

আর তোমরা চাও না ‌র চাওয়া ব্যতিরেকে। নিঃসন্দেহ হচ্ছেন সর্বজ্ঞাতা, পরমজ্ঞানী।

Saheeh International

He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.

Arabic, with marks

يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ وَالظَّالِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

জহুরুল হক

তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন তাকে তাঁর অনুগ্রহের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করান। কিন্ত অন্যায়কারীরা - - তাদের জন্য তিনি তৈরি করেছেন মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি।
