Chapter 454, 21 verses
Job 18:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
যোব / Job - 18 তখন শূহীয বিল্দদ উত্তর দিলেন:
Job 18:2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
যোব / Job - 18 “ইয়োব, কখন তুমি কথা বলা বন্ধ করবে? শান্ত হও এবং শোন। আমাদের কিছু বলতে দাও।
Job 18:3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
যোব / Job - 18 কেন তুমি আমাদের বোবা গরুর মতো নির্বোধ ভাবছো?
Job 18:4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
যোব / Job - 18 ইয়োব, তোমার ক্রোধ শুধু মাত্র তোমাকেই আহত করছে। লোকে কি শুধু তোমার জন্য পৃথিবী ত্যাগ করবে? তুমি কি মনে কর, য়ে শুধু তোমাকে খুশী করতে ঈশ্বর পর্বতকে সরাবেন?
Job 18:5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
যোব / Job - 18 “হ্যাঁ, মন্দ লোকের আলো চলে যাবে। তার আগুন দ3 করা বন্ধ করে দেবে।
Job 18:6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
যোব / Job - 18 তার ঘরের আলো অন্ধকারে পরিণত হবে। তার নিকটের আলোও নিভে যাবে।
Job 18:7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
যোব / Job - 18 তার পদক্ষেপগুলো আর দৃঢ় ও দ্রুত হবে না। কিন্তু সে আস্তে আস্তে দুর্বলের মত হাঁটবে। তার নিজের মন্দ বুদ্ধিই ওর পতন ঘটাবে।
Job 18:8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
যোব / Job - 18 তার নিজের পা-ই তাকে ফাঁদের দিকে নিয়ে যাবে। সে ফাঁদের ওপর দিয়েই হাঁটবে এবং ধরা পড়বে।
Job 18:9 The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
যোব / Job - 18 একটা ফাঁদ নিশ্চয়ই ওর পা ধরবেই। একটা ফাঁদ তাকে আঁকড়ে ধরবেই।
Job 18:10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
যোব / Job - 18 মাটির কোন একটা দড়ি তাকে ফাঁদে ফেলবেই। তার ফাঁদ রাস্তায় ওর জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে।
Job 18:11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
যোব / Job - 18 তার চার দিকেই ভয়ঙ্করতা প্রতীক্ষা করছে। প্রত্যেকটি পদক্ষেপেই ভয় ওকে অনুসরণ করবে।
Job 18:12 His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
যোব / Job - 18 মন্দ সমস্যাসমূহ ওর জন্য ক্ষুধার্তের মত অপেক্ষা করছে। ওর পতন হলেই ধ্বংস ও দুর্বিপাক ওর জন্য ওত্ পেতে আছে।
Job 18:13 It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
যোব / Job - 18 ভয়ঙ্কর অসুখ তার গায়ের চামড়া খেয়ে ফেলবে। ঐ অসুখ ওর হাত, পা পচিযে দেবে।
Job 18:14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
যোব / Job - 18 দুষ্ট লোককে তার ঘরের নিরাপত্তা থেকে ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে। য়ে ভয়ঙ্করের রাজা তার সঙ্গে দেখা করার জন্য ওকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।
Job 18:15 It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
যোব / Job - 18 তার ঘরে কিছুই পড়ে থাকবে না। কেন? জ্বলন্ত গন্ধক ওর বাড়ীর চারপাশে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া হবে।
Job 18:16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
যোব / Job - 18 ওর নিথস্থ শিকড় শুকিয়ে যাবে, ওর উর্ধস্থ ডালপালাও শুকিয়ে যাবে।
Job 18:17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
যোব / Job - 18 পৃথিবীর মানুষ ওকে স্মরণে রাখবে না। কোন লোকই আর ওর নাম উল্লেখ করবে না।
Job 18:18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
যোব / Job - 18 লোকে তাকে আলো থেকে অন্ধকারের দিকে ঠেলে দেবে। তারা ওকে ওর জগত্ থেকে তাড়িয়ে দেবে।
Job 18:19 He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
যোব / Job - 18 ওর কোন পুত্র বা পৌত্র থাকবে না। ওর বাড়ীর কেউই বেঁচে থাকবে না।
Job 18:20 They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
যোব / Job - 18 তার প্রতি কি হয়েছিল দেখে পশ্চিমের লোকরা চমকে উঠবে। পূর্বের লোকরাও ভয়ে আড়ষ্ট হয়ে যাবে।
Job 18:21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
যোব / Job - 18 দুষ্ট লোকদের বাড়িতে সেটা প্রকৃতই ঘটবে। যারা ঈশ্বর সম্পর্কে কোন কিছু গ্রাহ্য করে না তাদের ঠিক এই রকমই ঘটবে!”
